0.26km from Cafe Van GoghI stayed in this hotel for 5 days in August 2018. It was an overall awful experience since the beginning. As soon as I arrived at the hotel I was told that they had to swap my room with another one which wasn't A/C cooled, even if I EXPLICITLY asked for a room with A/C. I overlooked that since they offered me a discount on check out, which they actually didn't deliver. The room was absolutely DREADFUL: I think that the last time they renewed this building was eventually in the 1960s because everything screams OLD and CRUMMY-LOOKING. The morning after my check-in, I woke up on time for breakfast and I arrived in the dining room only 10 minutes after breakfast’s start time and yet I was told that I was late and they couldn't serve me breakfast. At this point, I was tired of being teased as if I was a totally stupid person, which I'm not. I asked for a partial refund and I told them that I was going to leave in the afternoon. They refused to give me a full refund, so I asked if they could, at least, refund me the missing 4 days, and they blatantly disagreed. I had to contact Booking.com to solve that problem, which never happened to me before. It was a totally bad experience and I advise any clever person to ABSOLUTELY avoid this hotel.
