The hotel was quite hard to find and then we were told that the only parking was either on the street or in a municipal car park about 400 metres away underground! (they do have underground parking @€ 7 extra that you have too book in advance to get, needless to say it was full) the reception staff were extremely polite and helpful, I was a bit hot under the collar and they were very professional how they treated me. The room was extremely nice, it was completely fitted out with everything that could want including a full kitchen and every pot, pan and plate that you would ever need. The bed was perhaps over soft but that was just me. Only two criticisms, there was no Air-conditioning or even a fan. But the window opened and had a security shutter so you could leave it open at night. Although the room was very close (within 15metres) to a railway line, we weren’t disturbed by it or even knew that trains were passing. The toilet was placed in a very small alcove (it had about 4” space on each side), which made it hard to get in and out of. Very close to the room there were several squares surrounded with cafes and restaurants, there were a lot of people of all ages in the area enjoying themselves. All in all this was a good place to visit.

We were really made to feel at home by the friendly family-proprietors; nothing was too much trouble. Modern hotel with a lift, wonderful beds and well-appointed rooms. Some were enormous and with a beautiful mountain view. Scrupulously clean. Excellent base for exploring the southern shore of Lac Leman, the Alps and area in between - all delightful. They have their own restaurant in the adjacent Les Marronieres (itself a slightly more modest hotel) and there are numerous other restaurants in Thonon - an easy 5-10 mins walk. Excellent value - and even more so for direct bookings.

From the moment we walked off the bus, 50 min. from Geneva in rain, we glanced across the street and found Le Compte Rouge and smiled with amazement at the convenience especially in light of the bad weather in which we found ourselves deposited The hotel was covered in construction netting and the first minor thought was that perhaps there would be noise and we would be unable to sleep off jet lag. WRONG! It was AMAZING from the minute we walked in! The lobby was beautiful, clean, modern, spacious with an additional dining area where you have the option to take breakfast and by special request for dinner. The room was spacious enough with lots of useful furniture. The bathroom well equipped and functional. The lighting was soft and inviting. The owners Natalie and Serge were just perfect hosts - very very helpful going out of their way to make us feel comfortable not only in their hotel, but also in the town, providing us with on spot information for our daily 12 mile walks, places to visit, and improving our ability to communicate in french when we asked for help. As for the concern of no rest due to the construction netting....it is only set up for exterior painting, there is no noise, the bed mattresses are all new and feel amazing for the best rest following long travel. I cannot say enough for this great landing place picked out of the blue as a respite in travel to/from Geneva in preparation for our future European destinations. The bus for 8 euros/each could not have been easier to navigate. Truly the best decision as a start for our holiday!

I was there about 20 days ago. The hotel was well placed near the city center. From my room I had a great view of Lemon Lake. The room was clean and useful but very small. The bathroom also was very clean but I was not satisfied with bath accessories like shampoo and conditioner, but as it is an economic hotel it was ok. The staff were very kind and helpful. I felt very comfortable with them. The breakfast was complete specially the egg boiling system. The bread and sweets were fresh and delicious. The breakfast saloon was very cozy and comfortable and had a nice view. The free WiFi was not very fast but it handled my needs. I choose this hotel and this city for my 25th. anniversary of my marriage I like to go there again.

Hotel located in a residential area of Thonon-les-Bains. Quiet neighborhood, far away from busy roads. There is not much around, a car is needed. Free parking in front of the hotel. Quick check-in. Comfort is basic as you can expect from the Ibis Budget brand. But you get the essentials. The room was clean. You can open the window but not completely. Air conditioning is available, but it relatively noisy. Internet is free, but it is slow. Good breakfast for the price, except for the orange juice.

This is a family-run 2* hotel since 1951. The neighbouring 3* hotel, the Arc en Ciel, is managed by the same people & the two establishments are linked by a connecting glass corridor. The advertised swimming pool is in the grounds of the AeC. Location: approx. 5-10 mins’ walk from the train & bus stations via a pedestrian bridge across the rail tracks. I booked direct for 3 nights’ B&B & was allocated what turned out to be a small ground floor room in the Marronniers’ wood-constructed garden annexe (I believe there are 4 rooms in this building) with a small shared terrace with table & 2 chairs. The room itself is very old in style (although there is a f/s TV), but by contrast the narrow galley-style shower room looked brand new & had an excellent shower. A hairdryer was provided, however the towels were very flimsy. I stayed during the heatwave & even with the window slightly open, the room was stifling. After a very uncomfortable first night, I requested & was provided with a small tower fan which definitely helped. Sound insulation is very poor ... I could hear the guy in the room above snoring & the external wooden staircase is very creaky. Breakfast is taken in the main building in a charming room with Alpine decor. It’s classic continental & totally self-service, with a good selection of cereals, breads, pastries, cheese, ham, fruit salad & yoghurt. The juices & hot drinks are machine-dispensed. On one evening, I ate in the hotel’s restaurant ... 25€ for 3 courses. Wine by the glass was from 4€. Friendly, helpful & polite family & staff ... particular thanks to charming young man Leo. Very good value for money.

When I first arrived, I was a little disappointed. I felt that the hotel was quite small and the facilities were a bit old. In the past, there was a gap in the resort. After living, I found out that he was good. The road was across the road. In the morning, enjoy a hearty breakfast while watching the sea, especially the spinach omelettes are delicious.

The hotel is right by the sea and there is an open-air restaurant bar on the top floor with unobstructed views of the sea. The hotel is in a good location, just a five minute walk to the old town and the luxury shopping street. If you are on vacation, it is necessary to live on the beach, because in other quiet neighborhoods, the restaurant is basically closed at 10 o'clock in the evening, and in this area, midnight is also lively and safe. I especially want to praise Ctrip. I had a hotel before, but the hotel La Malmaison Nice was oversold, and Ms. Sanna Gehrke, who was very proud, asked me to leave the hotel and exchange for a hotel I didn't like. I was still in theory, but she said I don't have to waste time, I turn and leave. Immediately, I told Ctrip that Ctrip immediately changed my favorite hotel and apologized for the inconvenience. I am very pleased to choose Ctrip, and I am picking up the hotel. I hope that everyone will not go to that hotel, the attitude is very poor, and the location is not good. Since I didn't live in that hotel, I wouldn't be able to write a comment there, I can only take up the location here.

This is a very useful evaluation for a hotel in Nice, I hope everyone can take a look. 1) Location: The location of the hotel is on the beach, it is really good! But if you are entangled in which hotel to choose, stayed in Nice for 6 days and changed 3 hotels (3 different price points) I can tell you that the price of this home is nearly twice as expensive as the others - in the room facilities and Service does not have any outstanding advantages. I will talk about it in detail later, so, simply speaking from the position, this row of hotels or homestays are all 180-degree super beautiful seascape sunrise. 2) Service: I can only give 3-4 stars to the attitude of the service staff. It is not a standard for a 4 star hotel. Relatively indifferent~ It was my birthday on the day of the hotel check-in. I didn’t feel that I didn’t notice the passport, but the friend sent the birthday cake to the hotel. The lady at the front desk was very indifferent and let the porter take it to me... (not me Feeling, as a girl who stayed alone, I used to be a hotel. If it is such a detail, I can't do more details. May I have more details?) Two days in the store, WIFI broke two days because I have to deal with some work with my computer, and I always ask them when they can be good... The response is unified, the whole hotel is broken, and we are very anxious. Anyway, it’s quite awkward. As an emergency response, I think I can actually borrow a nearby wifi or other processing method... and a wifi problem can’t be fixed in two days... It’s really... 3) Amenities/services/breakfast: The bed is very soft and very comfortable, the bathroom is great, but the biggest problem in the whole house is that the 3 floors I live in, half of the house is tilted... too obvious! So every time I walk, it will be a little dizzy...🤦🏼‍♀️ mini bar provides drinking water, tea bags...but only the first day of stay, no supplements...also very good... Breakfast should be the best part of the whole hotel~ Although it is Western, the overall variety is very rich, and the restaurant is also facing the sea... It feels great when I have breakfast in the morning! 4) This article should be a supplement to the previous one: About the SPA part of this hotel~ There should be friends like me to set this hotel, but the hotel's spa area is on the first floor of the hotel... I personally feel A little embarrassing... the price is about 60-150 euros! This is the price of the spa. If you use the spa area alone, the in-house guest is 30 euros for two hours...but, in fact, just like our domestic swimming pool, there is a lounge chair...the sauna room...the money feels unnecessary Flower... After all, three minutes walk to the beach, swim in the sea, find a bar and a glass of wine to lie down, cost-effective! Ok to share this ~ Nice is really beautiful, it is worth spending a few days to get rid of!

I often travel to France, have come to Nice many times, lived in an apartment, and also stayed in a hotel. This time I stayed for 3 nights, and each of the 3 hotels specializing in the seaside stayed one night. Negresco, west end, west minister. X first comment on negresco, I live in a standard room with sea views. The scenery outside the window is good, but the glass windows are not soundproof. The hotel is still very historical, it is a landmark hotel in the local area. The proprietress has a very high status in France. The hotel displays antiques collected from all over the world. Of course, there are many Chinese elements. The elements displayed on each floor are different. On the second floor, there is a suite where the world fashion godmother coco chanel lived for a while. The rooms are old, all wooden, typical French style. The decoration is classical in all aspects, Yonghua is good for friends who like history. The restaurants are good, especially for dinner, the price is 7-800 per capita, but it is worth it. Overall, it's okay. Those who like to experience French style will recommend this place. I prefer a modern hotel style. It's okay to experience it. I went to the west end the next night. You can also read my evaluation of west end.

I ca n’t wait to give this hotel a 6-star praise. I set the wrong time and Ctrip contacted the hotel and said that only the first and third nights can be upgraded. The second night is downgraded to a superior room, which means we have to change rooms every day, but The front desk didn't communicate with me well and didn't tell me that I need to pack my luggage in advance so that their waiter will help us to transfer the luggage, which caused me to not pack my things on the first day. Laduli Macaron was placed in the mini bar. The airpods were placed under the pillows and I found that they were gone. After giving feedback to the hotel, I immediately served me a plate of super-flavored macarons. The taste was not worse than that of Raduli. The hotel thought that I lost my airpods. My own responsibility, but thank you Ctrip customer service for helping me fight for my rights. Finally, Miss Check out told me that after discussion they decided to compensate me for 100 Euros. Although I bought this for 120 pounds, it is better None is good, so the service is still in place! !! !! Let me talk about the hotel facilities. I think it is very good. It is the cheapest sea-view room I have lived in. Hahaha. The location is also very easy to find. We arrived by cable tram from the airport, and later took the bus to the airport. It was worth it. One thing to mention is: Nice's bus changes frequently, so we ask local passers-by wherever we go. Thanks again to the local residents who are kind and enthusiastic to take the initiative to lead the way. If you feel that you don't understand English well, you can ask first I asked my sister at the front desk of the hotel. Every time I asked the passerby who took the note from my sister at the front desk, and then I asked the passerby. There are everything in the hotel. I was surprised by the disposable slippers, because basically I stayed at European hotels for so long. It ’s not clear if I did n’t eat breakfast at the hotel. One thing is very interesting. We wanted to see the scenery from the old city and found that the two roads up the mountain from the old city were closed and under construction, so we walked for a long time. , I did not expect that there are actually many roads to go up and down the mountain, such as the railing path next to the hotel is one of them Anyway, I highly recommend this hotel, Nice is really awesome

Although it is within walking distance from Nice Central Station, the recently opened tram will take you from the airport to the underground station in front of the hotel for 1.5 euros. Taxi costs 40 euros, including luggage charges. The staff are sophisticated and very pleasant. Cold water with a lime scent was provided at check-in. The procedure went smoothly. The rooms are brilliant with white walls and furniture. There is a bathtub in the center, so you can't relax as a private space. The pool is on the rooftop and basement, and the rooftop has a restaurant. The basement closes at a relatively early time in the spa, so it may not be available if you arrive late. You also need to change your clothes in your room, wear a bathrobe, use a corridor or elevator, and the pool is not that big. It seems that only outpatients can borrow lockers. Compared to Asian resorts, eg Oriental or Peninsula spas and pools in Bangkok. The breakfast is gorgeous and wonderful. Both ingredients and taste are top-notch.

Very good location, right at the foot of Castle Hill. It is also very convenient to go to the old town, it takes only 2 or 3 minutes to walk. Approximately 30 minutes from the airport taxi, 36 euros. The hotel is very compact, the corridor is relatively narrow, but the room size is ok, I booked a twin room, and took the initiative to help me put the two beds together when checking-in, and also added a small free for my child bed. Couple with sofa and desk, not particularly cramped. The bathroom is large and clean. Just the towel drying rack is broken. The room was fairly clean, but there was no free bottled water, and the charged mini-bar had snacks and wine. Did not see the electric kettle. Breakfast is relatively simple, there is no extra charge for children, bread, sausage, bacon, yogurt, tea and coffee, fruits, that's about it. Overall, the price / performance ratio is not bad, but I still feel that there is a gap with the standard of four stars.

After eating so many fried things, I would like to have some soup and water. Note that they are open for dinner at 7 o'clock.

The staff handover and explanation are not clear. On the 4th check-out, I insisted that my city tax was not paid. (I have to pay with the other two front desks every day for the past two days.) The taxi driver not only thinks that because of me. The relationship and the front desk were too late for the city tax. They also threatened me that I had waited for 5 minutes for him to drive away. (The staff did not explain that it was a carpool. I think if I was 45 to the airport, why can't I wait?). I have repeatedly confirmed whether the city tax has been paid and whether the taxi has a credit card. In the end, not only did I pay more for the city tax, but when I paid the taxi fare, I could not use the credit card that I could brush anywhere else. The card is not good. Finally, I went to the airport to collect the money. Therefore, this hotel and related taxi companies are definitely not recommended (especially the front desk staff and taxi drivers on duty on the morning of October 4)
