I was so disappointed with this hotel. It’s a beautiful building with nicely decorated rooms but that’s about it. There is very limited parking but they still charge you $20 for it. They want you to use valet parking which costs even more. The front desk staff were disinterested at check in bordering on rude. The bar and restaurant downstairs were closed for a private event and so we went to the rooftop to attempt to eat. Most of that was also closed for a private event (that literally no one was at) and so we went and ate elsewhere. The hotel is noisy and you can hear people on other floors. Overall a bad experience and not worth the money.

We chose this hotel not really researching the location much. It was kind of off the beaten path for our needs, but very convenient to Love Field, multiple good restaurants, and had easy access to the freeway. The room was newly renovated, and very well appointed and comfortable. Had a small refrigerator and microwave, great free WiFi, good complimentary breakfast, and good customer service. We also enjoyed the small fitness center. Not a lot of equipment, but met our needs for the 2 days we were there. Not the best area, but we had no problems. Waffle House and Starbucks are pretty much just across the parking lot.

Nice hotel, very accommodating to a certain degree. The room rate was VERY much appreciated. The saleswoman Phyllis was extremely nice and professional. The front counter associates were very accommodating and friendly. However, there were a few issues I would like to point out. First there was the issue with the shower. Apparently, it needed to come with instructions because the shower floor was level with the entire floor, so when you showered, the water overflowed onto the floor and towards the entry where it proceeded to overflow the threshold onto the carpet. That was a nightmare to step out the shower area into a puddle of water. Second, there was no privacy in the front bedroom with the French doors. The decor was nice, but the glass doors should have something to give the guest privacy. The consumer should never have to drape sheets over a hotel door to supply their own privacy. Also, clean comforters are a must! The flip side of the comforter on the bedroom with the French doors had a yellow stain on the side which was closer to my body. Third, the 2nd bedroom with the key entry was a challenge. The guest who occupied the room closed the door and the room key did not open it. It took the poor maintenance guy 30 minutes to gain access to the room! Finally, there were several guests at your facility this weekend and it was a huge inconvenience for us to be waiting on two elevators.

We waited 105 minutes past 4pm for a room, and when we got in, it absolutely reeked of smoke and body odor and maybe *********. There was a huge stain near the door. We asked for assistance cleaning the room/getting rid of the smell or a new room and were told there were no other rooms and no cleaning crews. After our 3rd request, we were given a 95% empty bottle of Lysol and told it was the best they could do. We went to CVS and bought baking soda and air freshener and turned all the fans on high. It still smelled disgusting.

I decided to stay at the Aloft Dallas Love Field because it was close to UT Southwestern Hospital, where my mom was having surgery to remove a pre-cancerous tumor. Since there were so many uncertainties regarding her health and/or discharge, I spoke with Derrick about my options. He provided exceptional customer service and gave me several options, since I was driving back and forth multiple times on that day. I was concerned that I would not make it back in time for check-out. He told me my options and suggested that I call or let him know if my plans changed and I needed a later check-out. It turns out that I thought that I didn't need to the late check-out or the room the next day, but we made one decision that I had to make less stressful. I really appreciated his compassion and empathy in that moment, which made the issue of my lodging for me less stressful. I checked out by noon, but as it turns out, I needed a room for that night. Without hesitation and because of Derrick's exceptional customer service, I booked another room at Aloft Dallas Love Field. Furthermore, two nights later, when I simply needed to rest, I chose Aloft again. If the need arises for me to stay close to the hospital again, as things are still uncertain, I will choose at Aloft again, all because of Derrick's kindness and exceptional customer service in that moment.

The location is ok, the hardware facilities are too old and have not been renovated in recent years, the real situation of the room and the hotel pictures have no sense of Fairmont. The service staff was normal during the day, and it was really a star hotel when they were on duty in the early morning. Four black concierges chatted at the door and no one brought their luggage. Tips prepared in advance were not given and it was not uncommon to travel in the United States. accurate!

I stayed here two nights as part of a wedding group, hence the nice discounted price. As the entire Marriott line seems to diminish in status (cheaper fixtures, carpets, etc.), using this new standard as a guide, this property fits in well. I was upgraded to a "suite", which is a larger room, due to my upgrade certificates from Marriott Visa. The bed and bedding were fantastic. Robes available on request. Lounge closed on weekends but they gave me breakfast vouchers for the restaurant without asking (nice!). Wifi was great, 40Mbps download. Shower and vanities were recently upgraded. Breakfast was typical buffet with omlette station and good, service was quick. On the downside, the room was dimly lit and the window size was insufficient for the room size. The sink faucet felt like it was going to break. The clothes hanging area, normally in a closed closet for a Marriott, was open to the room. The room carpet had several stains and needed replacing. Everything considered, this was a better than average experience, and would be great if these issues were addressed.

I really enjoyed my time here. I booked this stay to have some alone time with myself since I am always so busy. The Director, Sony (spellcheck), was so helpful and accommodating. He’s the best of the best. I will be returning! The place is STUNNING!. The bed is most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. The breakfast was awesome too!
