A Beautiful family home, 3200 sq ft large, and it’s only a few steps to reach the water, directly on the NC intracoastal waterway, Bogue Sound, and a short walk across the street from the white, powder sands of Emerald Isle NC beach, on the Atlantic Ocean. It’s about an hours drive to Ellis Airport OAJ, in Jacksonville NC or EWN Carolina Coastal Regional Airport in New Bern, NC. There are four lovely bedrooms, master bedroom downstairs on the main level, two and a half bathrooms and an outside shower, with large closets, laundry room, storage and pantry spaces. A Charcoal grill is available, beach supplies room, beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, plus two picnic tables, flat screen tv, many games and lots of reading materials for all ages. The Third story cupola enjoys a complete wrap around porch with awe inspiring sound and ocean views and a comfy daybed. This is a birders haven as the pier is on pilings and is a sanctuary for an abundant variety of sea loving feathered friends, especially pelicans. The Pier is not repaired or able to be walked on. The Main level has a complete, on all 4 sides of the house, wrap around porch and amazing sunsets and sunrises with comfortable captains chairs, rocking chairs and a picnic table facing the Sound. The Kitchen boasts a cozy breakfast nook with seating for four plus 6 bar stool seating around the central island counter. There are two Picnic tables and charcoal grill onsite. One picnic table is on the porch and one is on the ground level beside the garage. There are beach toys, chairs and beach umbrellas available to use. The Laundry room is available on the ground level by the carport. Please do not lock the laundry or beach supplies doors, keep them unlocked even when you leave. Four Lovely bedrooms, with the Master Bedroom and bath is downstairs on the main level. There are ample living areas which invite rest, refreshment, recuperation, fellowship, study, writing, painting and reflection. Wonderful family recreational activities, beaches, swimming, surfing, golf, tennis, pickleball, fishing at the sound, ocean and on the Bogue pier, putt-putt golf, shopping, seafood, gym, EI Rec Center, bike rentals, movie theaters and restaurants are nearby in an easy distance in both directions from the house. Emerald Isle Sea Turtle nesting and watching is another favorite beach activity. Walking, jogging, sunbathing and fishing on the beach, and at the sound, a water sports facility is a short jaunt away. There is a sidewalk that runs to Indian Beach and all the way into the town of Emerald Isle. The house is Close to both Atlantic Beach and the Town of Emerald Isle. We have a Well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. The house is on the sound side with direct access, a few steps from the house to the Sound for bird, fish jumping and dolphin viewing. Clamming and crabbing in the Sound, behind the house, is fun if you bring your own equipment. There’s swimming, floating, jet skiing, boating, fishing and endless water activities. To access the beach is a short walk across the street, to the right is the public beach access at the 3rd Street Park Public Access with with wheelchair ramp, picnic table and car parking. To the left is the Second Street Public Access walkway to the beach. We enjoy viewing and hearing the ocean from the main porch and 3rd story cupola, both with full wrap around porches. The towns of Atlantic Beach, Emerald Isle, Morehead City, Beaufort and Swansboro are close by. There is also Emerald Path, NC Aquarium, Beaufort, Wild Horses of Shackleford Banks, Cape Lookout National Seashore, Cape Lookout Lighthouse, Tryon Palace, churches of many denominations, local festivals, free concerts, local produce & farm stalls and much more nearby CShore Beach Home, Tranquillity by the Sea. The spacious oceanfront master suite has a king bed with storage, a large dresser and mirror, two bedside tables, a sitting chair, a closet, and a Smart TV. There is a slider to the deck and outside seating for four to listen to the waves and enjoy the stunning ocean views. The well-lit master bathroom has an oversized, single-bowl sink with plenty of storage and an additional shelving area to the left of the shower for towels and extras. The shower has two glass shelves for your supplies and a handheld showerhead. The oceanfront queen bedroom on this floor has a queen-size storage bed, two bedside tables, a tall, narrow chest of drawers, and a Smart TV. There is room in the closet to store your suitcases but no hanging area because it's under the stairs. The slider in this room leads to the deck with outside seating and is shared with the master. The double bunk bedroom on this floor is perfect for families or extra guests; it is located on the roadside of the house and has a large chest of drawers, a bedside table, a Smart TV, and a closet. There is also a pack-n-play in the closet.The second bathroom on this floor for the queen and bunk rooms is well-lit and has some storage space to the right of the shower and under the vanity. It has a handheld showerhead and a curtain instead of a shower door to accommodate giving kids baths. The laundry area has a large capacity washer and dryer. There are some laundry baskets, a Shark vacuum, a mop/broom, and an iron and ironing board if needed. Up the stairs to the third floor, you'll find an open floor plan with the main living area, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, a queen bedroom, and a bathroom with a large, tiled shower. Enjoy ocean views from the sofas, dining, or kitchen, or open the slider and step out onto the deck to feel the breeze while you relax. There’s an outside table with four Adirondack chairs and two additional bar-height Adirondack chairs to enjoy the outdoor space.The living room area has seating for 12 with two oversized sofas, two oversized chairs with large ottomans, an adjustable height coffee table, three end tables, and a 65" Smart TV with surround sound. The furniture is really comfortable, and it’s a big enough space to hang out when you’re in from the beach. The dining table is bar height and seats 6. The oversized bar has seating for 4 more and a lot of serving or workspace. The kitchen is fully equipped with serve and cookware and has a Keurig, blender, griddle, and toaster oven combo & toaster in addition to the new frig/freezer with water and ice maker, sink disposal, dishwasher, microwave, and cooktop/oven. The kitchen has plenty of storage, and there's also a small pantry closet right off the kitchen.The queen bedroom on this floor has a queen storage bed, a chest of drawers, a bedside table, a closet, and a Smart TV. It does not have an ocean view, but it's the only bedroom on this floor and will use the bathroom with the largest shower. The bathroom on this floor has a large tiled shower with seating and two shelves. Back down to the first floor, you'll find a large master suite with a living area and a full bath with shower. You do have to go outside of the house to get to this room, but it is a nice, big room. Inside this separate entrance master suite, there's a king-size storage bed, a large dresser with a mirror, and two bedside tables, but it does not have a closet. There's also a comfortable sectional that pulls out into a full-size bed, a coffee table, and a 55" Smart TV. The bathroom for this suite has a shower with a small seat and a handheld showerhead. This suite is perfect for when couples and families vacation together since it adds an extra inside living area and privacy. This suite has a private patio by the dunes with seating for two and a hammock, and the outside shower for the home is located to the right on the side of the house. The outside shower has hot and cold water, a rain head, a regular head, a foot wash, and a hose connection to wash you and your beach gear off.Emerald Isle Escape is the west side of the duplex only. It was completely gutted and renovated inside and out including the front porch and boardwalk to the beach in 2024, and we have done our best to make it as nice and comfortable for your vacation home as possible. We even added an extra water heater so when everyone heads off the beach at the same time to grab dinner at a local favorite, you shouldn't run out of hot water! Every room has a ceiling fan and Smart TV, and all three floors have separate A/C controls. Besides being just steps from the ocean and uncrowded beach, the location of Emerald Isle Escape is great because as soon as you come off the EI bridge onto the island, you get into the right lane out of traffic, turn at the very first light, and are here in just a few minutes. You should be able to park 7 cars in the driveway on our side of the duplex.Please be mindful that, like all homes on EI, there are full-time residents and other vacationers around this rental. You should relax, let loose, and have a great time on vacation, but this is not a party house. Please enjoy yourself as we always have when we are on vacation, but be mindful that reckless or obnoxious behavior will not be tolerated. We hope you will make Emerald Isle Escape your vacation home and that it will be everything you want it to be with a pristine beach, warm sun, soft waves, a light breeze, and comfy accommodations. We have a Well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. The house is on the sound side with direct access, a few steps from the house to the Sound for bird, fish jumping and dolphin viewing. Clamming and crabbing in the Sound, behind the house, is fun if you bring your own equipment. There’s swimming, floating, jet skiing, boating, fishing and endless water activities. To access the beach is a short walk across the street, to the right is the public beach access at the 3rd Street Park Public Access with with wheelchair ramp, picnic table and car parking. To the left is the Second Street Public Access walkway to the beach. We enjoy viewing and hearing the ocean from the main porch and 3rd story cupola, both with full wrap around porches. The towns of Atlantic Beach, Emerald Isle, Morehead City, Beaufort and Swansboro are close by. There is also Emerald Path, NC Aquarium, Beaufort, Wild Horses of Shackleford Banks, Cape Lookout National Seashore, Cape Lookout Lighthouse, Tryon Palace, churches of many denominations, local festivals, free concerts, local produce & farm stalls and much more nearby CShore Beach Home, Tranquillity by the Sea. It does not have an ocean view, but it's the only bedroom on this floor and will use the bathroom with the largest shower. The bathroom on this floor has a large tiled shower with seating and two shelves. Back down to the first floor, you'll find a large master suite with a living area and a full bath with shower. You do have to go outside of the house to get to this room, but it is a nice, big room. Inside this separate entrance master suite, there's a king-size storage bed, a large dresser with a mirror, and two bedside tables, but it does not have a closet. There's also a comfortable sectional that pulls out into a full-size bed, a coffee table, and a 55" Smart TV. The bathroom for this suite has a shower with a small seat and a handheld showerhead. This suite is perfect for when couples and families vacation together since it adds an extra inside living area and privacy. This suite has a private patio by the dunes with seating for two and a hammock, and the outside shower for the home is located to the right on the side of the house. The outside shower has hot and cold water, a rain head, a regular head, a foot wash, and a hose connection to wash you and your beach gear off.Emerald Isle Escape is the west side of the duplex only. It was completely gutted and renovated inside and out including the front porch and boardwalk to the beach in 2024, and we have done our best to make it as nice and comfortable for your vacation home as possible. We even added an extra water heater so when everyone heads off the beach at the same time to grab dinner at a local favorite, you shouldn't run out of hot water! Every room has a ceiling fan and Smart TV, and all three floors have separate A/C controls. Besides being just steps from the ocean and uncrowded beach, the location of Emerald Isle Escape is great because as soon as you come off the EI bridge onto the island, you get into the right lane out of traffic, turn at the very first light, and are here in just a few minutes. You should be able to park 7 cars in the driveway on our side of the duplex.Please be mindful that, like all homes on EI, there are full-time residents and other vacationers around this rental. You should relax, let loose, and have a great time on vacation, but this is not a party house. Please enjoy yourself as we always have when we are on vacation, but be mindful that reckless or obnoxious behavior will not be tolerated. We hope you will make Emerald Isle Escape your vacation home and that it will be everything you want it to be with a pristine beach, warm sun, soft waves, a light breeze, and comfy accommodations.
