On our trip down to Florida we decided to stop and rest for the night. We got off the highway on a random exit. Looked around the main road. We saw two other hotels that looked kind of shady. Then I asked my phone where is the nearest holiday inn. Luckily it was just down the road on the other side. It looked perfect on the outside. I went in and booked a room. We unloaded our stuff and went out to the pool. It was a nice big area. Everyone was social distancing. Our bed was super comfortable. We got up for breakfast which consisted of egg omelette, sausage, bagels, cereal, grits, toast, yogurt, fruit. Your standard hotel breakfast. We left after breakfast. It was a nice stay. We would stay there again.

I almost let previous reviews stop me from staying. I'm glad I chose to stay. Hotel is an older hotel but renovation are in process. Everything is being updated and it looks great Our room faced the pool. It was a nice room considering the rate charged. No complaints at all with it. There is no elevator but if you want a good room at a fair price then stay here. Breakfast was great. The hotel employees were all nice and helpful. All I can say is disregard the negative reviews. I even stayed an extra night. A plus is several places to eat close by.

I was attending a Florida Gators football game and was looking for an inexpensive place to stay the night. I saw this place and saw that it is a Wyndham hotel. I thought to myself "Oh! It's a Wyndham hotel so it must be decent." Well if this is a Wyndham, then I'm never staying at one of their resorts because this was just terrible! It started with the door to our room already being unlocked (I didn't even need to key to open the door). There was hair and some sort of stains all in the beds on top of the sheets and even on top of the mattress protector. The bathroom area (sink, toilet, tub) were gross and sticky. And the room was humid and smelly as if the AC hadn't been on in a month. The night clerk was very nice though and tried to help as much as he could. He gave us a different room that was cleaner than the 1st one (i.e. it didn't have hair and stains in the bed and didn’t have the old smell). The bathroom area in this room was about the same as the other and the sheets were stiff and itchy, but it was fine for a night because we were all so tired from the long day we had. The ice machine was also broken. One of the other night workers had to come and get the ice out for me. I would’ve given a 1 star rating if the night clerk wouldn’t have been so nice. All in all, just pay the extra $30 to stay somewhere else… Trust me!
