Although this place is wonderful, the best thing there are hosts - each employee was so nice to us, and helpful, and worked as they own the place. We felt that they really care about us, our trip and staying there. Big advantage is that the owner and manager of the hotel is working there and takes care about everything. He also previously was a tourism guide and helped us with information about places where to go. The place is new and if someone is still able to get a better pricing this season, than it is a nobrainer to choose this place instead of other hotels in Goreme - they will make sure that You will enjoy Your staying in Goreme, Cappadocia. We got a very special treatment: 1) nice welcoming breakfast at 6am in the morning before our booking was even started at 12pm *also they saved some food for us when we slept in, which was very nice 2) free upgraded room to a royal suite although there was a full booking that night 3) very special discounted price because the place is new and money is not their priority now 4) option to leave our baggages for 2 days there 5) information and a plan for a day about tourism places where to go 6) nice and very friendly attitude We are very thankful to Azad and other people about the experience and hosting they provided, help and just being such nice human beings. :))

What was our disappointment when we discovered our first room (a very important evacuation smell of toilets in the bathroom and the room). We therefore asked to change of room, the owner did not even come to see the smell in the room but offered us directly another room where he just before put a deodorant spray to mitigate the smell. The mattress was super hard we felt iron bars in the back. Then we discovered sticks cut and struck in several places. The next day we discovered struck bathroom towels. And it was very noisy every night. When we were told that the chair was shut, we were told that it was a stick of detergent (is that true? We don't know) In this second room, we found pieces of stone that fell from walls. The household has never been made for three days only a toilet paper roller put on our bed for the last night. The most comic thing was that we had a single bed coat set horizontally for a two-place bed. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. We had booked for the mountain golf flight it was incredible! We strongly recommend this activity. We also asked if we could use the washing machine and what was our surprise when it was The hotel is a hotel that is very nice and very nice.

Friendly and responsive staff who can solve your problem without unnecessary explanations. 2. Comfortable rooms with convenient furniture. 3. Spacious toilet and bathroom. 4. Stable internet connection. 5. Incredibly delicious breakfasts. 6. Magnificent photo zone on the rooftop for morning photography with air balloons. Disadvantages: 1. There might be a smell of dampness in the rooms. I encountered one such room. The administrator resolved this issue by relocating me to another room where the smell was much less noticeable. 2. Limited seating on the terrace for breakfast. Local features that are not related to the hotel itself but should be noted: 1. The door of our room opened onto the street. You will hear people passing by. 2. There is a mosque located 50 meters from the hotel, which can be heard very well, including during the early morning hours (3-4 am). Overall, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. I recommend it to those who are not bothered by waking up to the sound of the mosque singing in the early morning hours.

The man, who claimed the caves were a family business - was nice and friendly one minute and within moments would make a 180 degree shift, and it was beyond disturbing. If he thought he would gain sales from us, he was friendly and affable, when we had to speak about an issue, he was rude and cold. Very Jekyll and Hyde. * Upon checkin, we were given a major sales pitch, that took appx 15 minutes. According to the male host, there was only 2 spots available in the upcoming 4 days for one of the countless hot air balloons in cappadocia - so we should book that so we don’t miss out. Really?! * Our room, upon entering, smelled musty and moldy beyond what is expected of a room built into a cave. The bathroom was the major source of issue and the stench was overwhelming, to the point that we did not feel safe even turning the water on. We immediately opened windows to air it out but this didn’t help, even a few hours later. * Directly under the balcony was an open pipe. Unsure for what, but there were distinct smells of sewage. The smell of sewage was present throughout the whole property as you walked around, not just by our room. * The bathroom had no toilet paper, we had to request it ourselves. A few lightbulbs were out making the room even darker. Wifi did not connect - understandable as it is a cave. * Spoke to hosts - they said they would get someone to come the next morning (it was late) - they had no other rooms to switch us to, but the smell (mold and sewage) was so horrific and we felt it was unhealthy to breathe in - we left. * side note - new hotel was also a cave. It did not have the must/mold smell (which the previous host stated was normal because of how the cave walls absorb water), and wifi worked amazing in the new cave room, too. *do yourselves a favor, book elsewhere.

We got there early morning by Bus, they let us have breakfast even we weren’t entitled on that day. The breakfast was amazing! The hot air balloon was so close it felt surreal , and you could also go to sultan cave rooftop for pictures taking. I can’t think of a better hotel in cappadocia than aza!! In addition, restaurants and travel agencies are a few minutes walk from the hotel. If you don't like ”climbing hills” with your luggage, this hotel is excellent because it is located in a flat area. The hotel has new facilities and the design of the hotel and the room are nice. The heating and air conditioning work adequately, the room was clean, and there are rooms at street level and underground. The dining area has 2 terraces that have a view of the Göreme mountains or the street. There is a variety at breakfast and the kitchen staff is very friendly. The price of stay is adequate for the stay in the hotel. I recommend it!

It's old building from sandstone bricks and wood after good restoration. Rooms has good view and prices are good as well. Private parking at front and pool on the back. During the winter they offer Breakfast only, but there is enough restaurants on walking distance. Rooms are good size with bathrooms, nice and clean. During our stay, outside temperatures has dropped down to -5* but rooms was nicely warm. Personally i think that if you don't need a 1st class room in city centre, that's your place.

Ho trovato recensioni entusiasmanti e foto meravigliose di un hotel che purtroppo noi non abbiamo trovato. Cominciamo dal guardino: a differenza di quello che si vede nelle foto ad oggi è una sterpaglia incolta a tal punto che per raggiungere la nostra camera (la numero 105) dovevo attraversare una jungla. Passiamo alla camera: partendo dal presupposto che per 36 euro a notte non possiamo pretendere l'hilton, il livello era ben sotto la soglia della decenza. Entro nel dettaglio: lenzuola completamente bucate, stesso discorso per gli asciugamani; miscelatore del lavandino che penzolava a destra e sinistra; lavandino otturato che per far sgorgare l'acqua dopo aver lavato i denti abbiamo aspettato un'intera notte; acqua del bagno che non si sa per quale motivo ogni tanto non usciva; l'ultima mattina non ho potuto fare la doccia perché l'acqua calda non è pervenuta; temperatura interna della camera ben al di sotto di quella esterna (fuori facevano 15 gradi e dentro non più di 10); le dimensioni della camera erano quanto quelle del letto matrimoniale (con 3 valigie per arrivare in bagno dovevamo camminare di profilo); spifferi che entravano da sotto la porta e dalle finestre. Ripeto a questo prezzo non possiamo pretendere granché, ma almeno cerchiamo di raggiungere la decenza, anche perché basterebbe veramente poco. Inoltre hanno sempre preteso pagamenti in contanti e mai con la carta anche per le varie attività che abbiamo prenotato con loro. Le uniche note positive sono la posizione centrale e la disponibilità del personale che comunque ha prontamente risolto un paio di problemi sopra elencati. E nonostante tutto continuo a non capire come gli altri ospiti hanno dato 5 stelle.

Needless to say, the experience of living in a cave dwelling made of stone is natural. The breakfast on the hotel’s rooftop is also great, with unobstructed views and good food.
The best thing is of course the hotel owner’s meticulous and thoughtful arrangements from the beginning of the stay. He will give you a local map when you check in and tell you what you can play around. You can also help book tickets for day trips around. There is a small gift when checking out.
I need to thank the hotel owner. We booked a day trip and then paid with our credit card at the travel agency when we set off (that is, it has nothing to do with the hotel owner). When we arrived at the scenic spot, we found that we could use the Turkish Museum Pass, so we brushed it a few times. The tour guide did not refund us after returning. We told the hotel owner about this. After verification, the boss directly took 10 euros to compensate us. He said that we cannot let our guests suffer losses.
In fact, the feeling that Goreme gives us is not perfect. This hotel definitely raised the experience a lot.

|0.43km from city centerSpent 3 nights here as a family of 4. We had the Superior Family room which had 3 double beds and was fairly spacious (our ”kids” are in their 20's). The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk to the ”main” part of town but was nicely located as the roof top patio has a great view of the balloons. From this hotel you are also very close to the outdoor air museum where you can walk around the many fairy chimneys. There were no fans or AC in the rooms so you need to open the windows to get some air / circulation. Also could hear the chairs from the roof top above when it was breakfast time, The breakfast was good to OK and had a variety of Turkish foods (bread, borek, cheese etc.). Good value for the price. If you want something closer to the ”main strip” you are very likely going to pay a lot more.The owner, Dilber, was very pleasant and knowledgeable for what to do around town and also for booking excursions / events.

The view from the hotel is very beautiful, you can admire Goreme.Excellent location, the panorama is quite suggestive. The rooms, I would call them suites, wonderful, careful and comfortable. They all have their style. Some with a ground bathroom, others with shower, but all furnished in the minimum details. A wide choice of salt and sweet in terms of breakfast and of course very good. Strategic location for various types of excursions you can do, including the famous tour in the Mongolfier, nearby possibility to take horse tours or quads. Super recommended. Melissa

The rooms are very nice, equipped with wooden furniture. Beautiful bathroom with generous shower, in the outer area various seats.
The hot air balloons typical of Capadokia could be seen from the bed, or are well seen from the terrace.
The hotel is located on the main road, perfect for rental car trips, but you can hear the traffic partly, which has not disturbed us.
We were happy that we didn't have to run a spider-car at the local and souvenir shops every evening home,
We're sure to come back, because there's so much to discover in this magical landscape.

The first impression was ” this place is magic”. Yusuf and family were there for the welcoming. I could see they were always ready for the guests. Yusuf took some time to share historical information about the place, so was really easy for us to start the tour plan. W They prepared with love some breakfast for us eventhough was unexpected. I can now say I have tried the best apricot jam ever!! Healthy and organic breakfast, amazing. He gave us his phone number in case we could need anything in the area. Unforgettable behaviour! The cleaning was just perfect. Spanish: Reservamos en Lewin Stone House sin expectativa alguna, solo un lugar para pasar la noche y nos hemos llevado una de las mejores experiencias del viaje. La primera impresión: el lugar es mágico. Fuimos recibidas por Yusuf y su familia. Pude ver que estaban siempre presentes para cada huésped. Yusuf se tomó la molestia de explicarnos un poco la historia del lugar, fue muy fácil entonces establecer la ruta para visitar. No dudó en ningún momento en prepar desayuno para nosotras pese a haber llegado mucho antes del check in. No exagero si digo que he comido la mejor mermelada de albaricoque del mundo. Desayuno natural y orgánico. Nos dio su número para que le contactáramos si necesitamos cualquier cosa. Detalles que no tienen precio. La limpieza fue inmejorable.

|0.36km from city centerIts tucked away from the main street so there is no noise of the traffic. Its a nice quiet place with AMAZING staff who will help you every possible way. Excellent staff, can't say enough about them. Room is good nice, hot water, good strong wifi, Turkish buffet breakfast, nice quiet place. We had great sleep at night. Safe neighborhood. You can book tours/activities with them including Hot Air Balloon ride, horse back ride, atv ride, Semah (swirling dervishes dance) etc. The room that we stayed in, the bathroom was nice with a curtain, no door. for some people this might be an issue but for us it was no problem. I guess, my recommendation for improvement would be that during the off season, you could put doors on the bathroom. Other than that, the place has no flaws. Breakfast was just AWESOME!!!!! Four different types of cheese, two different types of grapes, tomatoes, grapes, apples, limes, salami, honey, bread, tea, coffee.... truly awesome. They also recommended a restaurant close by and that was also very good. Bear in mind that this is a touristy town and things are a little bit more expensive than other Turkish cities. We would stay here AGAIN!!!!! p.s. at the gate, its written Cappadocian Special House.... its the same place, no need to get confused.

|0.24km from city centerMyself and my daughter were very lucky to have experienced This part of Turkey and our stay at Ottoman Cave Suites room 204 could not have been better. The staff did everything they could to help us. Mohamed and Zekeriya are a credit to this hotel as they are so helpful and kind. They were able to make recommendations and arrange a private driver for us who took us everywhere we needed to go. They also booked the hot air balloon for us. Breakfast was amazing every morning with different borek made fresh by Leyla who is an amazing cook. The room we stayed in had a television, safe, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. There were robes and fresh towels. There was a kettle in our room and complimentary teas, coffee sachets that were topped up daily. We loved our stay and felt like sultans. I do understand that some snobby stuck up people will complain about the grit in the bathroom that falls from the natural cave walls. Or they might moan about damp smell in the bathroom…..they need to wake up and realise it is a cave!!!!! Appreciate this beautiful place, the views, the terraces and the people as you won’t find another place like it . The way the whole place is designed is so quirky but beautiful with things like vintage sewing machines and original Ottoman title deeds scattered around. We hope to return here again one day !

Hotel location is not very close to the center of Goreme, but because it is on the street, you can find it without difficulty walking if you only have a map app.
The hotel manager booked a Burund tour and a red tour at a reasonable price. The breakfast was delicious and the dishes were a little different by the date.
The room we received was on the top floor of the hotel, it was nice to see the scenery of Cappadocia outside the window and the breakfast restaurant was close.
The interior of the room, with the classic space design of the Cappadocia Cave Hotel, I liked the modernly improved toilet facilities and shower booth.
There was an air conditioner with air conditioning and heating, so it was a very pleasant condition to stay. The cleanliness was quite good.
The only thing that was unfortunate was that the trash can was small. It's a room that can stay up to four people, but I think it should be a little bigger.

The meeting was very good and the friend in the dance took him into the room without waiting. I asked if we had a room with a room to eat, and if we should open it, I asked if I had a room with a room to eat it, and when I came back for the child, they were built for my daughter, and they were built for the pete 👌 Also pete is so big that we won't come We closed.the room was 24du 😍asy you never cold.the terrace was the room we made coffee in our night room.the scenery is horror and I didn't understand how a clean hotel was stayed in the grounds that was ridiculous prices ... The morning never go to that hill We saw the balloons with my wife and it was the most important thing for me to go at that time in the morning.But the balloons came to our bottom.Avik buffet breakfast was yes, everything was there but it was like a little bit of a bit or a bit. We were there at 8:30 breakfast we were there at 8:50.It was enough, of course we weren't hungry, there was an incredibly kind sister to my daughter who made a great cake.Everywhere near but restaurants cost 3 people we paid 1,000 TL for dinner.But I'll come back and I can't call the hotel not necessary because staying with the child is difficult and I searched about 1 month. We were very happy.Thank you very much for everything ☺️

The staff at the hotel were all very welcoming and friendly always happy to help from reception to the restaurant to the room service staff. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, with a cave but modern outlook. Rooms are cleaned daily with fresh bedding, tea coffee water provided daily etc. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Very convenient location walking distance to the local shopping centre of Goreme. Breakfast was a good selective choice the staff were always welcoming and very friendly. A big thank you to Bahar from the restaurant who was always so friendly welcoming and helped me and my family out so much she couldn't do enough. The hotel has an amazing roof top terrace perfect location to see sunrise and sunset and watch the hot air balloons in the sky. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be revisiting. Thank you to all the team for a lovely experience.
