We were in town for a baseball tournament, so our whole team stayed here. The location was great. We were very close to a Wal-Mart and other stores, which was helpful for people on our team who forgot things from home. We were close to many fast-food restaurants and gas stations, plus we were just a few miles from Highway 69 and Keystone Parkway, which we needed to get to for our baseball games. I thought the rooms were good-sized and very comfortable. I liked the extra couch and desk area separated by a small wall. There is a small ”kitchen” area with a sink and counter, plus a basic small fridge and microwave. I thought there might be plates, glassware, silverware, etc,, but there were just the basic plastic-wrapped cups and two paper plates. I was also hoping for a freezer, but the basic dorm-sized fridge did not have a freezer section. Since we were here for an extended weekend for baseball, I had brought freezer packs to use in our coolers, but there was no place to freeze the packs. We had to use ice, but the ice machines in the whole hotel kept running out. The breakfast was still grab-and-go, like during the height of COVID, but I have stayed in other hotels recently that had returned to their normal hot breakfast offerings. This hotel had breakfast sandwiches that could be microwaved, and my son actually really liked them, so that was good. There were containers of cereal and small cartons of milk, pre-packaged muffins, bananas and oranges, fruit and grain bars, and yogurt. I was hoping for more of the typical offerings such as bagels, waffles, and hot eggs, but at least there were a few options to take with us. Regarding housekeeping, I put out the ”We're still sleeping” sign two of the days we were there, but I did not put out the sign on the other two days. Our room was only cleaned once. I had to go ask a cleaning person for empty trash bags so I could remove our trash and put in new liners. I did not need new towels or fresh sheets, but I wish someone would have knocked and asked if we needed the garbage to be emptied. The workout room was decent- I used the treadmill twice, and it was easy to get an available machine. Twice I needed help from the front desk worker (a key issue and needing to get paper plates from the breakfast area after hours), and both times, the person immediately jumped up to help. I appreciated that.

When entering the property later at night (around 10pm) I wasn't greeted or anything, asked my name and for ID, given my rooms keys and nothing else (no information on breakfast, bar hours, fitness center or being a Marriott rewards memeber), she wasn't rude or anything but not your typical experience when staying at Marriott properties. My overall stay was fine as my room was nice, clean and a/c worked. Again upon checking out (11am), there wasn't an employee to be seen behind the counter as multiple people were now waiting for someone, a few housekeepers walked by and they didn't address us either, so I just left... Very interesting and uncharacteristic interactions or lack thereof with employees. Definitely made the stay less impressive and average

We stayed here for the Justin Bieber concert that was right across the street. It’s the perfect location, so close to literally everything and the restaurants ect! Also very SAFE as the valet has to let you into the building by key card after a certain time, and the elevator is only operated by your room key! Very SAFE! Upon arriving, we had a lot of things to carry as well as our children ect. The girl working out at the valet, was amazing. (she was working early evening on 4/21 if their managers read this she had kind of curly/short hair) Anyways, she helped us upto our room carrying things and even waited for us to check in quickly she made us feel so special she was so attentive!!!! Our room looked like there was something sticky on the kitchen floor and I went back to the front desk to tell the woman. She was SO kind and moved us right away, and gave me a Credit for the valet for the trouble, she was so accommodating with all our needs, and moved us right where we wanted! The next room was great. The bed was SO comfortable!! The kitchenette had everything you could want and it was so awesome. Every single employee there is so friendly and helpful. Nick the valet guy who was working the late shift 4/21 was awesome! He had seen us on the sidewalk after the concert, standing in front of the hotel waiting for my husband to come down from the room, and he checked on us to see if we needed anything. We went to walk around the city and we came back some stuff had fallen from our stroller, and he came to help us, and was very friendly and knowledgeable about the city and things going on! There was a lady cleaning the bar area this morning, I didn’t catch her name, but she was so friendly to us and struck up a conversation with us and was the sweetest! She told us about her grand daughter that likes to do cartwheels everywhere and honestly the interactions with these employees made us feel SO WELCOMED and at home, positive vibes and good people. Checking out was great, very easy, valet got our car to us quick and offered to help us with whatever we needed. Alyssa, Shawn, Marcus and Alex were there today in valet and were so helpful! Also making small talk about makes and models of cars ect. I’ll never forget the hospitality and the most friendly employees I have ever seen in my life-I felt so welcome and will be coming back here every time we come to Indy! I felt like I was in a 10star hotel based off the interactions with the employees!!! Round of applause for all of you at this hotel!!!!

Used trip.com to save money on our trip. Was excited to see Embassy as choice and booked it quickly. A $25.00 deposit added that 10 days later has yet to be refunded. There was so much construction going on that scaffolds literally from top to bottom in center was all that could be seen from room and elevator. Was unable to walk around to get full beauty and appreciation of the embassy. Am truly glad all the children were able to enjoy the pool. Unfortunately with as much as front desk hovered around pool entrance to ensure my teenage boys didn't enter during adult time on their visit they failed to see all the small hair chunks floating in the water under the oil that prevented a leisurely swim. The breakfast was delicious and those that were responsible for assisting us I thank again for the kindness they showed when food toppled off tray in front of room. Was impressed with how quickly another tray was made with a smile and with clean up.

The location of this hotel is very close to the airport, but after the new building is built, it takes a large circle to reach the airport, which takes more than 15 minutes. So catch the plane to remember.

Hampton Inn is our preferred choice in hotels. We come to Indianapolis every September to attend the 3-hour World Figure 8 Championship at Indianapolis Speedrome. Our previous accommodation was trending downwards and was receiving all poor reviews on TripAdvisor recently, so we put our trust in the TripAdvisor community, cancelled our reservations there and booked here. Excellent decision! Property is located very near to a major interstate highway, but is not affected by highway noise. 12 - 15 minute easy commute to the Speedrome. We also visited Indianapolis Motor Speedway, which is also a short distance away (20 minutes). Hotel is also convenient to downtown. Numerous restaurants, bars and fast food nearby. Safe neighborhood. Clean and quiet. 2 elevators. Comfortable room and bed. Plenty of hot water. Good hot breakfast including eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels, pastries, cereal, fresh fruit, juice etc. Coffee and tea available 24/7 in hotel lobby. Outstanding, friendly, helpful, professional staff. Immaculate facility. Ample free parking. Our only disappointment was the swimming pool smelled heavily of chlorine, which we expect at an indoor hotel pool. Overall we were very pleased and will certainly return next year!

Read the reviews and LISTEN Beds are old and uncomfortable. Tub and toliet stained. ”Couldnt finish updating by getting new ones.” (How is EVERYTHING covids fault? Better hurry and turn the shower on cause the tub water handle leaked and sprayed all over. TV is in the SIDES of the bed. HOW can you watch ut comfortable?! I have been in over 1/2 of Hotel chains since covid. Why are they the only ones who will not put trash bags in the trash cans?? And WHY cant we get our own ice? Who knows if that scooper is clean you use in the ”back”? Plenty of other hotel chains in the area. Find another one, and dont let the name fool you... Oh, but Christina was very nice and helpful! I asked for a refrigerator and microwave. When I checked in she told me it would be here in the morning. I needed a fridge NOW. So She carried one in for Me! Although I told Her to have them bring the microwave at noon, they came pounding a little after 9 am. Was very angry about that

I was there by myself for a funeral next door. Check in was quick and easy. I was hoping for a peaceful night. When I got back, I noticed the pool was packed, way more than therr should have been. The entire lobby and hallway smelled of pot, even through my mask. The walls were very thin and I could hear entire conversations of the room next to me. They were a lot of people in that room, but not screaming. They were up until at least 1 am. People were eating the grab and go breakfast in the lobby. They were definitely short staffed since the front desk worker was trying to re-stock the breakfast food. I waited over 5 minutes just to check out and she wasn't wearing a mask. About 50% of the people in the hallways were wearing masks. Overall, I was not impressed. I will not be returning to this hotel.

Check in was less than stellar. When I arrived, I walked in and the person behind the desk was working on the computer. I stood there for about 2-3 minutes before he acknowledged me. It was super awkward. He didn’t seem too eager to check me in. We get into our room and we realized there were no toiletries, no hand soap, no shampoo/conditioner etc. I grabbed a Kleenex and there was only 2 total in the box. The toilet paper was about half full as well (it was the cheap, rough kind). The room was basic, nothing special. I was disappointed in the lack of touches the room and hotel in general provided. However on a positive note, the hotel looked newly remodeled. The lobby was small but nice looking.

I stayed at this property for one night while attending meetings at the Capital PRO’s • Very good beds and pillows • Updated LVT flooring and décor • Has oversize mini fridge and microwave • Decent work desk and adequate chair • Embassy room layout is still the gold standard with separate sleeping area CON’s • Construction everywhere • Parking is expensive and less than ideal. A virtual maze of elevators and ramps • While Embassy does not own the parking garage it’s the only one available. • Toilet ran constantly after flushing. Have no manually release handle • Noisy HVAC, rattles • No cream or sugar in stackable coffee valet • Underwhelming breakfast for an Embassy While a decent property overall, there are too many issues for ”An Embassy Property”, especially when you consider the total cost with parking. Overall I would give this property a 75/100 and a 60/100 for value. I'm unsure whether I would return in the future, but as a Hilton Diamond member my preference would be to return.

the hotel was clean and comfortable, but the breakfast was extremely disappointing. When we book rooms, we usually pick a hotel that offers a continental breakfast. Previous reviews were good so I booked this hotel for our weekend away without the kids. We were very disappointed in the hot breakfast as it was primarily cold. the eggs were not edible and the sausage burnt and cold. If you enjoy a good breakfast, this is not your place.

The location is very good and many attractions are within walking distance. The hotel staff is very good at serving. The privacy of the hotel is very good. The pool is nice. The disadvantage is that the parking lot is expensive. Hotel staff suggested that we parked in the opposite shopping garage, which cost less than half of the hotel. There is also a feeling that the paper towels of the five-star hotel are very poor. There was no breakfast at the hotel because there were too many good restaurants to choose from.

My wife and I traveled through Indianapolis and we stayed at this hotel. Olivia was working the front desk. She greeted me very nicely and she was happy to accommodate a couple requests I had. It is not the least expensive place but it is well worth the price in my opinion. I knew how much the rate was before going there. Thx to Google maps, there is no charge for hparking and the valet is also no charge. There is lots of places for all your needs. The entire staff that I had contact with was very pleasant and happy to be working there. We were there from Fri until Monday. The room was very clean and comfortable. The beds are also very nice. We didn't have a reservation because we travel on the fly. Olivia gave me a little discount for walking in. We had 2 queen beds because she didn't have any kings left Enjoy your travels everyone and this place doesn't disappoint.

The bed was comfortable and the shower was very good. We stayed 2 nights. After being away for the after our first night's stay, we returned to the room and it hadn't been cleaned. I called the front desk and the person st the desk was flustered when I told him. I asked if we could at least get fresh towels for the next morning. He said they didn't have any clean and they were being laundered. This was 7:00 at night. We had to go to the front desk at midnight and pick up the towels when they were ready. I have never had that happen before.

Room 2618 was a beautiful room. A few comments: 1) The room door was slightly misaligned and did not shut. They did fix it very quickly. 2) The internet went out on Thursday for 6+ hours Overall, the experience was great. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The room was cleaned daily, which is different from many hotels currently.

I have never stayed at a Courtyard Marriott that was so filthy in my entire life. We are Marriott rewards members, but since we booked through a third party, I think we got the shaft (hotels don't like that). We were visiting for a family reunion, and upon check-in found out the Starbucks coffee was unavailable because the breakfast area was closed down for COVID. Now, I understand Corona problems, but nowhere on their website did they mention this, however there was a Starbucks 1 mile up the street open??? After visiting with family, we came back to the hotel about 10:30pm. Exhausted I pulled back the sheets to find a stain that looked like blood or jelly. Either way, I did not want to sleep there. (see pics). Therefore, in my nightgown and leggings, I shlepped down to the front desk and asked for another room. We were given a room on the first floor (note: there is smoking in this hotel, so it travels up). After moving all of our belongings, about 11:15 pm, we checked the beds. A ok. However, the bathtub was filthy (see pics). Also, do not plan on house-service...again, was not mentioned on the website. Never, ever, ever, ever, ever again. Keep driving up the highway about a mile for a nicer Marriott.

Was ready to check out and no workers was around. 3 of them was outside smoking and one was on the side just sitting. We called out for someone the lady just sat there like she didn't hear. There was 5 of us trying to check out. They just wanted it to be a late so we could get charged extra. Also I have never been to any hotel where they charge you for breakfast.

This was our second stay with the Alexander. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely visit again. The only issue for us was the room service. The food was terrible. We got a pepperoni pizza that was like something from a grade school cafeteria. I mean it was absolutely awful. We also got hummus and grilled pita which was served ice cold for some reason so it was barely edible. Not to mention the menu is incredibly limited. Other than that, it’s a great place !

I just stayed in a train car room - it was dirty & in serious need of updating. The furniture is threadbare & chipped. There is dust in the vents & walls by the vents. Dirty handprints on the walls, carpet felt old, sink got easily clogged and backed up with water. The adjoining door was warped so we couldn’t open it to visit our family in the next room. The AC made a ringing noise every time it ran. The windows look out to interior hallways with very bright interior lights, and the shades didn’t block the light at night. Overall, the room felt like a bad motel. Beware!

From the minute I walked to the front desk, Jeff Bobbitt welcomed me as a Platinum Elite member. He was fantastic; warm, helpful, and very professional. It's Marriott employees like him who keep me coming back to Bonvoy properties. I would provide another ”star” in the rating, but the room was a little dated. Also, the Marriott East has several meeting rooms and it was quite a hike to get to my room. Lastly, when Jeff had to provide a map in order for me to get to my room, it's a little too big of a property. I would definitely return to this property! And thanks again to Jeff Bobbitt, a true credit to Marriott
