The accommodation very near to the usukan beach as a few steps only. Beautiful beach especially during high tide and it will be a very nice family gathering at Usukan Cove Lodge. Overall we had a very nice and good stay at there. Will come again soon.

We spent the last 3 days of our trip around Malaysia in Nathasia’s place and it was the best possible choice! We managed to properly relax. Houses are located on the beautiful, clean beach. The beach is not easily accessible, that’s why we were transported there by the boat. It is a huge advantage as the beach is basically private. Accommodation is clean and tidy. The best parts are a terrace with external bed from which you can watch the sunset, as well as the external bathroom with beautiful flowers and the shower rain head for refreshing showers during the day. There is a lot of equipment available for guests including canoe, bamboo float and the snorkelling masks. Hosts are extremely nice, helpful and carrying. The made us feel almost like a royal family :) They helped us organize our time during the stay. They even took us for a great trip to the nearby town for an amazing dinner, which was a great experience. All the staff on the site are very nice and helpful. In the end, I have to mention food… It's DELICIOUS! The best food we had during our trip. The cook treated us every day with a variety of traditional cuisine – we all agreed that he served us the best prawns we EVER had. Summarizing, I would truly, highly recommend visiting this place. I promised my children to take them abroad once before they go to elementary school, and I can’t break my promise. I chose Kota Kinabalu as the destination, and I can watch the sea, dig sand, snorkel and watch fish, which my children love. When choosing a hotel, I chose a phobia outbreak. I hesitated for a long time. I trusted my intuition and chose this hotel. The fact is that it is really delicious! highly recommended!
After the reservation, the staff contacted me and added WeChat, and the various precautions were very clear. After check-in, every staff member is very nice, it can be said that they are responsive to every request. Eat, live and play in a few days, everything is quite satisfactory. There is a local lady named Snowman among the staff who can speak Chinese! There is also a handsome guy who can't speak Chinese, that's the one in picture 2. He is very careful with the children, and he keeps teaching our babies to swim and snorkel, which is touching... There are performances at night, which are very lively. When leaving, the child said that he would like to come here next time.

A great place to relax in a hanging mat, drink beer with a great sunset or to snorkel/drop. You can rent a paddleboard or kayak with a snorkel set. So you can go to find yourself. You can also take a organized snorkel or dive trip. All is thought, enough hangers in the room for your clothes, clam, even a paraplus at the front door when it's opposite. The (private) beach also hangs mats and are also in cookers beach mats. Well done, Bigfin. The vibe is super chill, you can pick your drinks in the kitchen. Everyone is in for a talk, there is often music on. Bigfin is a pretty stupid place to join, dive/snorkel, swimming, hanging mat, playing games, eating, drinking. As it is right on holiday. Come here for at least 3 nights is our advice. It's paying and it won't disappoint you! Eating is fine, also for vegetarians. No high cuisine. Ow and they even sold Oreo cookies 😎. Taking your own food and drink is not necessary

However, the place needs some maintenance in terms of its outdoor decoration, especially the outside hall restaurant facing the sea. It needs more decorative lamp and good lighting to make ithe space more brighter. Location wise is okay, next to Cabana Resort. Worth staying. staff is friendly and easy to deal with. sea areas is fantastic and clean. very suitable for family retreat.
