First thing we noticed was all of the lights worked! Not only that, but they were strategically located in very convenient places. The bed was very comfortable, which is important to me. There were also pillows that I loved. We usually travel with our own, but I didn’t have to go out to the car to get mine! Bathroom had multicolored lights that lent to a little bit of a fun mood. There was an attendant at breakfast, which is something I haven’t seen for a while. It was wonderful, he did his job well! The food was hot with eggs, sausage, biscuits, and gravy, and the other things you normally see. The food was also tasty and the area was clean. We took advantage of our Wyndham points, and our total cost was just $78 , who can complain about that?! We’d definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it for others.

Room was large and on the ground floor, as we had requested. There was a sign on the front door that masks were required to enter. The front desk clerk was behind a Plexiglas shield and we didn't see anyone else the first evening. As we were leaving on Saturday morning we noticed that the manager & another man that appeared to be the maintenance manager (lots of keys) were walking in the lobby and then behind the front counter were not wearing masks. We also noticed one of the cleaning staff in the hallway, dressed in denim jeans and also without face covering. We left to attend a family wedding and returned after dark and encountered no other staff or guests. As we were checking out, we asked about the lack of compliance and were told that the local government had changed and eliminated the mask requirement. The clerk said that they should remove the sign as masks were now optional. They removed the sign as we drove away. We have stayed at this facility many times over a span of more that twenty years without problems. With the Pandemic situation, this was our first overnight trip and other hotels on our journey were scrupulously enforcing masking requirements. We will no longer be using Red Roof facilities.

New hotels are going up all of the time. They can be innovative and pristine—almost antiseptic. There is still a special place for older hotels. They are charming and still have many of the same features of their new cousins. This hotel fits that description. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Our guest room was quiet and clean. The bathroom was a little small for a big guy like me, but it still sparkled upon entry. The bed was very comfortable with a great variety of pillows to prop up yourself to watch the colorful picture on the HDTV. There is a restaurant in the lobby and an indoor pool that has a passageway that can lead you right into the outdoor pool. The best part of this location is that Starbucks is on one side of the property and Panera is on the other. Those twin amenities make this a very convenient place to stay—old or new.

Avoid like the plague! Hands down the worst hotel I have ever experienced. Booked online through a third party site because we needed a place last minute. Got there after 11 at night. Our room had a balcony facing the pool. There were lots of obnoxious guests having a party at the pool. Very loud. We immediately tried calling the front desk to complain, but the phone in the room didn't work. I used my cell phone to call, and the person at the front desk said he was aware that the guests were staying at the pool past curfew, but they wouldn't listen to him when he told them to leave the pool. He said he would try again. We thought OK, let's take a shower, and maybe by the time we finish, they will be gone. Went to the bathroom and turned on the light. No joke, the overhead light was flashing like a strobe light at a discotheque. It would have been enough to give someone an epileptic seizure. We decided to just ask for a refund. We went to the front desk and turned in our keys, and the guy said someone would process our refund in the morning. After 4 days, no refund and getting the run around when we call to check on the status. Horrible!!! 0 stars!

The Best Western Chaffin Inn in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, is our frequent, first-night destination when driving to our favorite vacation spot in Sarasota, Florida. And it frequently is our last-night destination when returning to Chicago. Located at 168 Chaffin Place, off the busy 78B exit on I-24, along the busy Old Fort Parkway that features every commercial business and restaurant you can imagine, the Chaffin Inn offers everything a tired traveler covets in an overnight accommodation. It is quiet, convenient and comfortable. With a swimming pool to boot. My wife and I booked a lower level room (best bet for unloading and loading luggage) with two Queen sized beds, a flat screen TV, shower/tub combination, separate vanity, microwave, mini-refrigerator, iron and ironing board. And we've never missed a 3 a.m. wakeup call. But we have missed the hotel's hot breakfast that is served to overnight guests at 6 a.m.

If I could assign a negative number I most certainly would. Walls stained with food? Drink? Who knows what. Almost a C note for this nasty room. Got caught in torrential rains and ran late so we had to find a place after 16 hrs driving. Husband took first room in hotel that would allow our Chihuahua. I have never written a review for a room before but after seeing 4-5 ratings for this dive I felt someone needed to warn people. Paint peeling, horribly stained chairs, scarred rickety furniture, old spills dried on the walls, bathroom floor so slick with something that husband nearly fell when he walked into the room. We usually travel with our trailer and stay in campgrounds but couldn’t this trip. I’ve stayed in rustic campsites that had shower houses covered in dead moths that didn’t repulse me like this room and they were less than $20/night. We will never again stay in any Select Inn again and I doubt I’ll get any sleep tonight.

This hotel was old and needs updating. We were surprised that it was a Wyndham and expected better. We were disappointed in the room, such as the old tub and the room heater that made the room either too hot or chilly, and was noisy. Two good points- the front desk staff was friendly and the bed was comfortable. Because of Covid, the free breakfast was not in service so I’m unable to comment on that. I would not recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Gave me a room when I opened the door. I thought was occupied, turns was never cleaned from previous renters. Gave me another rm not sure what was wrong with that, cause ended up in yet another rm. Room was old and outdated smelled terrible. Don't make the same mistake I did.
