This is a motel, but fortunately the health is OK Typical nineties equipment Breakfast: Because of the epidemic, they did not give breakfast to the dine-in, they prepared it and took it back to eat. Except for milk, everything else was not tasty. Mind the noise, the small refrigerator and air conditioner in the logistics will be very noisy. I haven't slept well for two nights. The only reason I slept well was because I didn't sleep the day before. The soundproofing of the hotel is also not good. The entrance and exit of the next room will be very dynamic. Whoever passes the corridor can hear it clearly. At nine in the morning, the couple next to the east awakened. The picture is not taken, it is similar to the check on the promotion page, but it is much older for reference only

Hotel is off freeway, next to tons of shopping and food. Pretty close to downtown too. Front desk was really nice, friendly banter, blond with short hair, absolutely great at her job, fast check in. Room was large, clean, fridge in room, comfy bed, and you can't beat the rate, very affordable. I'll definitely be back in the future!

I have stayed here many times over the years... The staff is always Very Friendly!!! The hotel however has become a little bit rundown/Dated, worn down decor inside the rooms and also the outside of the Hotel. I still like staying here because of the location, The friendly staff, the decent complementary breakfast and the price is usually reasonable. with some up-grades and some fixing up, this could be a pretty darn good Hotel... I still like it and would stay here again.. I prefer to say in the main building on the 2nd or 3 floor above the Lobby. * Tends to be much quieter than the other two separate buildings.

My friend from San Diego was staying here for work again, so I got to visit and stay over a few nights. Last time I thought the stay was decent but maybe not the best, I rather stay at a Holiday Inn Express. But this stay changed my mind. The staff was on point and took care of the paperwork and posting of my friends rewards point in a timely manner. We even checked in early, no prob. Parking is easy, right out the front door. We got upgraded to a nice 1 bedroom king bed suite with a mini kitchen. Basically all it was missing was an oven. But it had a 2 burner electric stove, full sized freezer/fridge, big sink and dishwasher. Dishes, pots and pans all provided, even a toaster and coffee maker. Hot brewed coffee is available in the lobby 24/7, so we didn't need the coffee maker. The room was large with 2 big flat screen TV's, a couch and work desk. The bedroom had a nice king bed and attached vanity and bathroom. The shower had endless hot water. The AC unit was a in house unit, not the usual under the window wall unit that makes a ton of noise. This cooler ran almost silently which was really nice. What made me change my mind about Staybridge, was that before I thought the breakfast was a little subpar compared to other chains. But here, the breakfast was very good with waffles, biscuits and gravy, bacon or sausage, breakfast potatoes and scrambled eggs. There;s a selection of juices and dairy products, even soy milk for those that need it! This is what I really liked, was Mon, Tues, and Wed, they offer a Happy Hour all complimentary! Alcohol is served as beer (bud light and micros brew ”804”) and wine. It's all you can drink basically, though I didn't see anyone getting too carried away! Food varied from salad served with clam chowder, potato soup, nachos and meatball sliders. This is really nice and saves paying for dinner! Speaking of meals, one could cook in the included kitchen if you wanted. We cooked a lunch in the room and it worked out well. This is good especially if you're located in some po dunk town with not many eating out options. The better breakfasts and happy hour have changed my mind on Staybridge Suites over Holiday Inn Express! Both are on the same rewards program. There just aren't that many Staybridge Suites compared to Holiday Inn Expresses.

I've stayed at the Pepper Tree Inn several times in the last decade and was always pleased with my stay. However, I was super disappointed in my stay this past weekend. First of all, we couldn't check into our room until nearly 6 p.m., after being told the room would be ready by the promised check-in time of 4 p.m. I understand they are short-staffed, and I was promised a 50% refund on my room. Upon entering the room, it was stiflingly hot and I realized the Pepper Tree doesn't have any AC. I should have checked the website, but I guess I just assumed they would have this amenity. Basically, it was super hard to sleep because it was so stuffy and warm in the room. Overall, the property seemed tired and worn-out, and the pool filled with mulch is so depressing. Very sad - this hotel is not at all what I remember. I'm hoping it's just a Covid recovery situation and that it will improve over the coming months. I'd still come back and stay there in the winter, but unless they get AC, I wouldn't recommend it for a summer visit.

We stopped at this waterside restaurant for lunch after some hiking. We arrived on a busy Friday but still only had a 5 min wait for a table on the big shady outdoor deck just feet from the lake. While not a huge menu, we easily found something to peak our interests-fried fish tacos for me and strawberry goat cheese salad with salmon for my wife. The army of 20-something servers did a good job keeping things moving and we got our food pretty quick despite the place being pretty full. The deck is a great setting with nice views and plenty of colorful umbrellas providing shelter from the strong sun on a late July day. While certainly not gourmet, the food was good quality and reasonably priced.

The service is also great! The hotel has Starbucks, various small shops, and ski equipment rental. The hotel itself also has cable cars and slides, which is very convenient. We enjoyed our stay at Cedar Glen Lodge. Our arrival was slightly chaotic with cleaning still ongoing after check-in time, but it turned out OK in the end. We found our cabin to be cute, with a large bathroom. However, the place was very drafty near the door and windows, and often cold in spots even with the heater going. The kitchen was well-stocked for all cooking needs, but you do need to make sure you clean, dry, and put away all dishes before you leave or there’s an extra cleaning fee. The location was perfect, with a beautiful stretch of the lake accessible across the street. Other people mentioned a bottle of wine in their reviews, but we didn’t receive that. Charlie was a great staff person and we appreciated his efforts to make our stay a pleasant one.

Josh at the front desk helped us check in smoothly and provided excellent service during our stay. Josh went above and beyond what would normally be expected from your typical guest services and did a fantastic job accommodating our requests. Would recommend a trip out to the Granlibakken if you ever get a chance.

We needed reasonably priced overnight accommodations in the Roseville area. Fairfield Inn met our needs. Saturday night rate for the King room was $189 -- and just shy of $220 with taxes and fees. As others have mentioned the $12 parking fee is very annoying. This is not an upscale hotel. Just make it part of the rate and emphasize that free parking is included. Friendly, professional from Samuel at the front desk to housekeeping staff and the breakfast room attendant. We were assigned an ADA room so it had some quircks but was fine for one night. Besides the desk chair, there was one small uncomfortable chair -- no ottoman. The bed was our only option for stretching out. TV had a high resolution. Bed linens and towels were of mid-quality. Room was clean and appeared to have been updated recently. The large chocolate chip cookies we received upon arrival were tasty -- a bit chewy. The breakfast area was pleasant and not too crowded when we arrived 30 minutes before closing. I had the last of the orange juice from the large server, so DH was left with the option of boxed juice. Not tasty. Coffee and tea options were okay. Scrambled eggs and sausages were adequate, but not appealing to me. Oatmeal was quite good and had several options on toppings. Flavored yogurt was another option. Bagels, English muffins, and bread were available. Toaster, unfortunately, barely browned them. If there had been breakfast pastries, they were gone by the time we arrived. Overall a good stay. A cut above most Best Westerns. Would consider staying again, but would not go too far out of my way to do so.

The Village at Palisades Tahoe is an excellent lodging location any time of year when visiting the iconic Lake Tahoe ski resort that hosted the 1960 Olympics. We had a one-bedroom condo for three nights in late early October 2021. We loved the condo and the gorgeous window view and private balcony overlooking the Village and the beautiful ski hill at Palisades Tahoe, formerly Squaw Valley. The Village at Palisades features five buildings that are all are centrally located. This is a terrific lodging location for pursuing any nearby activity – winter or summer. The Village has a friendly feel with seemingly something for all ages. Our room featured a kitchen with many of the amenities you find in your own kitchen at home. We had an oven for cooking, dishwasher, good counter space, silverware, knives, pots-pans, and a decent size refrigerator. It’s a great way to save money – eat at home! There was a nice, comfortable pullout couch that easily sleeps two people. The living room also had two chairs for additional living room seating and a centrally located TV that features a sizable selection of channels. Our bedroom, while not spacious, had decent closet space and an area to hang up and store folded clothes. The queen bed was comfortable and the room came with a mounted TV on the wall with lots of channel options. Other sleeping accommodations were perfect for kids. There was a bunk bed in the far side of the living room that could sleep 2-3 kids. The living room also had a comfortable pullout couch, two chairs, gas fireplace, and enough room for an entire family to lounge around during the evenings. There were conveniently two bathrooms, one of them with a separate small shower that was next to a tub-shower – both located just outside the bedroom, Each bathroom was stocked with everything one needs – shampoo, conditioner, soap, ect. We had a clean room that was serviced by some very attentive cleaning personnel. The condo buildings feature multiple hot tubs and a sauna that heats up pretty well. The hot tubs are a favorite of families, especially in the afternoon and early evening in ski season. There are multiple restaurants in the Village, all with a different focus, including an Irish pub – Auld Dubliner. It has a wonderful happy hour, typically a lively evening crowd, and has friendly bartenders and staff. For folks who love to browse or buy, the Village features some high-end shops, several ski-oriented locations, and other shops that are appealing to men, women and kids. An ice cream location, a Starbucks and another location – Coffeebar (that seems to be a favorite of locals) – are popular places to congregate. There are additional shops and restaurants closer to the famed Olympic ski hill. It’s very convenient, not a ton of walking to get to one of the lower-level base ski lifts or hopping on the Funitel for a scenic journey up the hill. The Village at Palisades Tahoe is the type of place where you park the car once you get there and th

After sixteen years as a flight attendant, (traveling domestically and internationally, and staying in hundreds of different hotels), I would, now, always rather stay home, than spend another night in a hotel room. However, this last stay was almost unavoidable. Luckily, I found the ”TownePlace Suites by Marriott Sacramento Roseville,” which allowed me to live a little more ”normally” than my usual hotel stay, with the adequately appointed ”kitchenette” providing that little bit extra ”hominess” for my three day stay. Right from the start, I wanted a room change from the initial one that was given me, to take advantage of a ”sunnier” view. The front desk person, (whose name now eludes me, because I'm a bit tardy in getting to this review, some five week or so after my stay), accommodated me without hesitation. She was quite friendly, informative, (as I had many questions for her about the hotel and the surrounding area), in the few hours of my stay), and ”professional.” Something I know a lot about, having been in the ”service” business myself, with my job rendering me as somewhat as a ”professional hotel guest.) Not only was this ”front desk” person great at her job, but so was every other front desk and hotel staff person that I interacted with during my stay. During one of those initial interactions at the front desk, I had the opportunity to meet and introduce myself to the only ”manager” on site, ”Assistant General manager,” Jorge Morales. He was also very friendly, personable, accommodating. and professional, and even had the cooking duties for the one buffet breakfast that I went to. (He was great at that, too!) Aside from the other employees' specific attributes and qualities, it was obvious to me that Mr Morales ”set the tone” for the rest of his workforce, with his attitude, demeanor, and work effort. It's that kind of ”managing/leadership” that makes the difference foe many businesses, especially in the ”hospitality” business! Additionally, the room and amenities were spotlessly clean, up to date, in good working order, and actually quite comfortable. (The bathroom was so clean, that I actually ”bathed” in the ”bathtub” each night. And, that's something I very rarely would do in a hotel room.) So, with a clear conscience and an unsolicited ”perspective,” I can heartily recommend staying at the ”TownePlace Suites by Marriott Sacramento Roseville,” for anyone who wants a great stay, at a reasonable price. And, a big SHOUT OUT and THANK YOU to Mr Jorge Morales, and his staff!

Stayed at this hotel in April 2022. I am a lifetime platinum elite with 850 nights and 10 plus years at platinum. Violation of Marriott own policies Front desk asked me to change my rate to qualify for suite upgrade to suite they had available at time of check in. In fact, Front desk supervisor Jason said they had a couple of cancellations and a suite was available. However I need to change my rate. This is a clear violation of Marriotts own published rules regarding complimentary upgrades for elites. Racist undertones I dialogued with these folks via two ways. The first was via chat on the app, and then the second was in person face to face dialogue. I’m unsure if it was the attitude I was getting or the refusal to identify themselves on the chat, but I was definitely getting the sense of ‘we don’t want you here’. In fact they offered to cancel my reservation while we were already checked in, in the room while I was chatting with them. Summary This hotel does not honor marriotts own policies and has significant racist undertones imho.

The room was clean, did not smell and was a decent price. The man at the front desk was unfriendly, unhelpful and just ignored us. Trash can at the front was overflowing onto the ground. I told the man at the front desk and the trash on the ground was picked up but the trash remained full the whole time we were there. Loud noise from the road in front can be heard in the rooms, no matter what the man at the front desk says. The internet didnt' work and had to tell the man at the front desk. We were told the light ”breakfast” in the morning was coffee and danish. It was a box of Hostess Twinkies and Cupcakes. When I asked about this he said that is what they give him to put out. The Handicapped parking space was not wide enough to get out on the passenger side safely. The curbs on that side around the planter was broken and you had to walk over gravel and broken pieces of curb.

The hotel was great and the location was excellent. It is a converted 60’s motel that has been nicely updated. The rooms aren’t fancy, but the bed and showers are good. We ended up staying an extra day and had to switch rooms, and they were the same good quality. Out room faced the lake and had a gorgeous view without even getting out of the comfy bed. Along with a nice ambiance, the location is excellent. Walking distance to marina and boat trips, grocery store and CVS across the street, as well as numerous great restaurants within walking distance. We only needed to drive to go up to Palisade (formerly Squaw), so a great place to avoid traffic stress. Area was relaxing and quiet while we were there (early June). We had s’mores at the fire pit and walked to the farmers market and brought back breakfast on the deck surveying the lake. Loved it and will return.

Check-in was easy & efficient. The room was a decent size with a sitting area. The bed was very comfortable and had non-feather pillow options--great for allergy sufferers. Each nightstand had power outlets--perfect for two people charging devices at bedside. The bathroom had a large shower (only) with no mold--good job, housekeeping! The water pressure was decent. The sink was just outside the bathroom. The countertop magnifying mirror was a nice touch, unfortunately, the space was so dimly lit it was difficult to see for shaving or makeup. C'mon, Marriott, spring for brighter bulbs. There was an iron, ironing board, and hair dryer in the closet, and the room had a coffee maker and mini fridge. The hotel has a bar. Parking was free in the hotel's large, open-air parking lot. I might stay here again if I'm in the area.

So for the price I didn't really care for this place. Right when I arrived at the counter with my mom the lady was rude and didn't make us feel welcome. I asked what the deposit was she told me and when I wentvto grab a few snack from the snack area she made a comment that was insinuating that I couldn't afford them...yes they were way over priced and expensive but that's not the piont. She profiled me.

I always try and book this place when staying in and around Roseville. The front desk staff are awesome, very nice and personable. Nice, clean rooms and in a nice safe location!

I had 3 rooms (1 two bedroom suite and 2 studios) booked for myself and my husband, my son, and my daughter, her husband and 3 kids. Unfortunately, we were here to attend a memorial service for my brother, but our stay here has been very good, largely due to the excellent service we have received. I am particularly picky about noisy rooms, so I called ahead and spoke with a very nice gentleman, requesting that he place us in a top floor room (I hate listening to people stomping around overhead), in a quiet room away from elevators and preferably, at the end of a hallway. For the other two rooms for my family, they are not so particular. I also requested early check in. He politely noted my requests. As a follow up, I used the chat option when checking in online and reiterated these requests. The same kind gentleman responded and promised to do his best to make it happen. Upon landing, we called from the airport to see if any of the rooms were available, and we were able to get into the two bedroom by about 1:00, and the other became ready as we were standing at the front desk checking in! Our son arrived a day later for a quick 24 hr stay, and as requested, we were able to pick up his key at 10:30am before picking him up at the airport. They made every single thing I had asked for happen! The check in process was quick and efficient. We liked having the extra space their suites offered, with a nice sectional in the living room area, and nice work space. The rooms could use a bit of updating in some areas, and there were rather large gaps under the entry door, but the hallways appeared to have relatively new carpeting. The complimentary hot and cold breakfast options were good. We were greeted every time we returned to the hotel. The staff were so outstanding that it was easy to overlook the other things. We have stayed twice before at the Courtyard that shares the parking lot, and liked this property much better in terms of space, comfort and customer service. Thank you for taking such good care to meet our needs.

Clean hotel, right on the water Doesn't really have a beach this year with high water levels. You have to request a room clean, they don't come every day. Front desk barely ever answers the phone. No breakfast. Easy parking. Nice bean toss/play area with turf and games for kids and adults.
