The ate at their restaurant every night and food was good. During the day we took the boat which cost approx 3k for 4 hours and did island hopping. The stairs in the resort to your room is a challenge so if you have limited mobility then avoid but we had no issue with it.

Close to the action if you want it, but also just far enough away for quiet when you need it. The pool is refreshing and clean, the room was spacious, and it’s easy to find upon arrival from the Balatero Port. The staff were inviting and hospitable. Only downsides: no WiFi in the rooms, have to pay for breakfast. Everything else about this place is 5/5.

A perfect distance to escape the hustle & bustle, but also close enough not to be inconvenient. They also have mopeds for hire. The owners & staff are friendly & helpful and make you feel welcome. Leah was amazing with my booking, sorting everything out promptly by messenger. It has many room types, a restaurant and 2 swimming pools. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay & would recommend Jalyn's resort.

|5.35km from city centerGood: The beach was amazing and some inns are nice and accomodating. I got no problems with the boatmen especially the ones in kayaking activities. The sand was also satisfying. White beach is an almost perfect place to beach bum and have a little walk by the shore in the morning. During my island hopping experience, there was a lot of places to beach bum also and snorkel. Bad: Whenever I tried to relax at the beach or simply eat food, rude vendors (including massage therapists) treat you as a walking ATM instead of a human being trying to enjoy the visit. They will keep bugging you even if you said you've already bought the same items or service from them. Another problem I encountered in white beach was the way the tricycle drivers demand you to spend overpriced transportation fees. The guide fee wasn't even included in the tour. It's like they treat every tourists (Filipinos especially from Manila and foreigners alike) like a walking ATM. I even witnessed my massage therapist talking to someone on the phone referring me to ”It”. She was speaking with a different dialect but I could understand some of her words. I wish someday they change the way they treat their tourists especially those who were only there to unwind from their day-to-day problems. Most of the food are overpriced. I MEAN how can they sell salted egg for php 40? In Manila, its just around php 20 below. Even a simple sachet of 3-in-1 coffee cost like 20 pesos each. Friendly advice: Just ignore those rude locals and try to make the most out of your vacation. If they insist, just ignore them and look away. To save some money with food, i suggest you just bring your own especially eggs because it can be really expensive here. If you don't want to, I suggest also to just buy a bulk order of grilled liempo and chicken or bangus (boneless) near the restaurant called Foodtrip and take it out or just eat there (if you like unlimited rice). If you like to try tapsilog or any food that is 'silog ', there is a small carinderia just in front of the tricycle terminal inside the resort. Tapsilog is only 80 pesos with garlic rice there. Bring your own 3-in-1 coffee sachets and milo milk sachets. If you have thermos for hot water, the better. You might also want to bring your own shampoo and soap. Make sure to have a van transfer going to the resort and going back to Mueller port or where your ferry is. Avoid the tricycles as much as possible when necessary. If you can't, make sure you have a stack cash with you to pay the

It's close to the bay but just above the noisy restaurants and bars. The penthouse rooms offer a nice view of the bay and a giant outdoor whirlpool tub. Air conditioning is a modern split mini with remote control - great! The bed has a memory foam mattress and duvet-type comforter. The bathroom has an enormous tub/shower. There are two shelves for toiletries, etc. Everything was very clean. There is a large TV with lots of channels. Internet speeds are solid: 5 mbps down, 6mbps up. The staff are terrific. They arranged a water taxi for me and a transfer to Manila. I'd be happy to return.

Our room is on the second floor with a balcony. Although the room is not big, it feels very warm. The bed in the room is very soft and comfortable, and the air conditioner is very quiet and not very noisy. The shower has hot water but the water volume is not very large. The hotel can call horse* chicken to the room, you can also order, and also provide simple kitchenware to use in the lobby. A room is dedicated to the photographer to recharge the batteries and dry the equipment. The bedroom with 1 double bed is spacious with local artisan decor. The meals are excellent. |1.32km from city centerThis hotel is located between Sabang Beach and Murie port. Both go to Tricycle around 15 minutes. It is very quiet because it is away from downtown. There is only a small private store in front of the entrance of the hotel, and there is no other store, so shopping and exchange other than drinks must stretch your legs to Sabang Beach or Murie port. The hotel is built on a cliff. There is a front desk (reception) near the sea at the bottom of the cliff on the first and the first. There are nearly 100 steps from the entrance to the front desk. Cheap rooms are close to the sea as the room with a little ranking near the entrance. The pool is 2 places and is next to the middle location and front desk. The beach is a private beach. The restaurant is last ordered around 8 pm and the bar is until 10 pm at night. The price is lined up with restaurants in downtown Puerto Galera. When you return, if you pay the chip, the male staff will be happy to carry your luggage and carry it to the entrance of the hotel.

They organized a private boat to pick me up in Busuangas as the public ferries were canceled on the day of my arrival due to a gale warning. The food was great, and I loved the boutique style and relaxed nature of the hotel. The hotel is beautifully located right on the shoreline only 600 meters from the center of Sabang. The dive shop is part of the hotel making diving a breeze. I have been scuba diving for +30 years and have been diving all over the world. Puerto Galera boasts some of the best shore-based diving in the world. The soft coral is stunning and the biodiversity is amazing. Great diving for looking at small stuff. Visibility averages between 15-25 meters which will disappoint some, but not me given the number of critters to look at. You will be hard-pressed to find a better and more professional run dive shop. Top-notch, new equipment; great friendly dive instructors and attention to safety. Most of the more than 30 dive sites are just 5-10 minutes away by boat giving you time to do more dives and rat the hotel in between dives. Plenty of hot water, the service was perfect, the resort staff was so friendly and welcoming, they all took care of us like royalty. The food was very good , buffet during the day , excellent and fresh, dinner at night was best in town. Manager Allison takes care of all your needs and is super cool . Asia Divers does an excellent job , boats in great shape , all new gear, super dive masters , high quality dives. No complaints at all after a weeks stay.

Advantages: good service attitude and good sanitation; environment is good, there is a drop, and the vegetation is rich; the rooms are basically detached houses, and the rooms on the hill can overlook the entire SABANG beach; quiet and ecological, and there are insects calling at night Sound, there will be cuckoos flying to the balcony in the middle of the night, and geckos can often be seen outside.
Disadvantages and suggestions: It is not convenient to go diving without a safe, it is recommended to add a small safe; add a clothesline on the balcony to dry clothes; add a mosquito killer;

Having previously used all the superlatives to describe other resorts, I need new ones, as this is an order of magnitude beyond all previous resort vacations. The physical resort, the food, the service, the diving, the attitude of the staff, everything. I was met at the airport, guided through the ferry terminal, picked up at the ferry landing, taken to the resort, and greeted by name, by everyone, all week. At no time was I ”just another dollar”, and at no time was any member of the staff less than entirely cheerful and helpful. I could get used to this, real easy... It's as if I were a valued guest, instead of just a customer. Imagine that. To make this shorter for those who don't want to read the rest of this... I began my plans to return on the way home. I rarely go anywhere outside of the USA twice, (been there, done that..) Not this time. I am going back and I will bring as many friends as I can. It's 14 hours on a jet from LAX to Manila, and 4 more hours after that. I hate travel, but this was worth it. I'll take Philippine Airlines again next time too. They don't treat you like cattle, sheep or dirt. I have now felt respect while travelling, and I like it! The flight wasn't so bad. I am 6” tall, weight 240, and was comfortable in economy. Free wifi, a tv with free movies, tv shows, music..etc.. a very pleasant flight, in both directions. Food OPTIONS! You get to choose. Wow. On arrival at Marco Vincent, I was greeted by name, shown my room, a crate was outside my door to put my dive gear in, it was the last time I handled it all week. My room was large, extremely clean, super comfortable with a small fridge full of water, a table w 2 chairs, a big shower, AC unit, very firm mattress, spotless soft white sheets, a 32” TV with plenty of channels and it was quiet. All meals were as good as I have had anywhere. This place only has 32 rooms, so the buffet menu is not extensive, but I always found more than enough of what I like to eat. The quality and presentation was always top notch. The quality of the food extends to the dive boat, Big Beth. They have a chef aboard and those meals are the same quality as at the resort. Remember, this is a day boat, and they have a chef aboard serving freshly made gourmet meals. (Sure beats grabbing a sandwich at Walmart on the way to the lake....) The diving itself was like nowhere else. I saw things I didn't know existed.. an electric clam? WOW! Nudibranchs, mantis shrimp, lion fish (where they belong), a few octopi, at least three, maybe five, different morays, frogfish, giant clams, miniature seahorses, scorpionfish, colors that I can't describe...more different fish than I could list in a week... Every dive was something new, and all conducted from a really nice boat, the nicest boat I saw there. If you are traveling as a vacation, couple, or parent-child, PG is not necessarily the best choice. But if everyone has a common hobby - diving, PG must be a very worthwhile place to go. There are many dive sites near the town, the corals are well protected, and each one is rare. The coaches there are very amiable and very professional, and there is a lot of fun to be found there at the elementary to advanced level.

|2.92km from city centerI'd like to graciously comment that to some extent, we had a good and fulfilling stay except for an uncomfortable experience in meeting a few ”defensive” staff of Jack Daniel Apartments. I would kindly suggest that next time, please welcome your guests warmly first before telling it to their face the cost of (e.g.) extra mattress for each night, missing bath towel, etc. I think it's intimidating to confront the guests with ”this and that prices” when they have just arrived. I regret to say that some staff were defensive in their explanation. Another intimidating act was the suggestion of Ms. Jocie for us to book another room with two superior bedrooms, when our booking confirmation stated 4 adults and 4 children. It was just relieving when she finally honoured the Agoda Booking Confirmation, but not after hours of long discussions 😢. Anyhow, I wasn't very glad to pay Php 2,000. for two extra mattresses for our additional two school children; and even this amount is high. We liked the swimming pool and the gardens. The property must have seen long years but well maintained. Despite my experience with a few intimidating staff, I'd like to thank Jack Daniel Apartments.

However, the store’s service was superb and helped me solve many problems. If it's a vacation, it's not bad if you don't go down the mountain. If you go down the mountain, it will be very tiring. It takes 20p to 50p to ride a motorcycle up the mountain. Sometimes the mountain pass charges a fee, so sometimes it will be more expensive.
