The staff at this hotel know the value of hospitality. Each team member greeted me by name as I walked in and out every day. Breakfast was continental as advertised with waffles which were an added bonus and the sweet front desk person Sue made waffles for me. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. I was here for the Equine Affaire participating in the events, the hotel seemed to be full every night but there was no noise at night. The closeness to the fairgrounds is what prompted me to book this hotel, this was my first experience here, and I will definately be back in April. I was staying at more expensive hotels in Springfield, but quite frankly, I appreciate the hospitality at this hotel more than being just a membership number at other places. Thank you Regency!

The staff was very helpful and friendly, rooms were very clean and close to casino, Eastern Expo Center and Six Flags. They also had various choices of beverages, including excellent coffee in the lounge for free. 10/10 recommend and will visit again on my next visit to six flags.

We came to the Hampton Inn in West Springfield as we wanted to visit Northampton and there were no hotels there with outdoor pools. So we decided to stay here which does have one and is only about 20 min away. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Check in was easy. We went to the room and both noticed it smelled of smoke, but didn't say anything. Room was clean, but a little dated. Couch was a little on the sketchy side. No safe in the room. They do have a fridge and microwave. We put left overs in the fridge which ended up frozen. Guess it was up a little high. Beds are hard. My husband thought it was great, I didn't so it's all personal preference. Pillows flat. Water pressure wasn't great in shower but fine. Pool was nice. Doesn't open until 9am so we had to wait a bit for someone to unlock the door. Water was nice. Since we're in the age of corona virus, they only allow 10 people in the pool at one time. You sign up at the front desk. Towels are tiny. We ended up using our own beach towels. Usually they do a free buffet breakfast but again, can't do that in the corona times. So they had breakfast to go at the desk. We each got a sausage egg and cheese but it was disgusting. Took one bite and threw it out. Such a waste. They did have cereal and yogurt as well. We ended up deciding to cut our trip short and only stay one night. I was so surprised when they apologized and said they'd only charge us for the one night. I thought that was great customer service. So all in all, I'd say hold off on staying here until things are more back to normal. Too many restrictions including of course wearing your mask in public areas of the hotel. It's in a strip mall area with a couple chain restaurants, a couple fast food places, Stop and Shop, Kohls, etc.

Stayed here for a weekend with the wife. Nice place room was very clean stocked with everything including the typical things you need in a kitchen. The bed and pillows were very comfortable you have your choice of firm or soft pillows which was nice. Pool, gym, and hot tub were all clean and in good condition. Sam was there at the front desk when we checked in and was very polite friendly and helpful. It was great having the kitchenette to make some of our own meals. The only thing negative I have to say is every morning at about 5 we could here the people in room above us walking literally sound like a couple elephants up there. Definitely would and probably will return. Oh and they do let you bring your dog for an extra fee and size restrictions.

The room was excellent. Everything was very clean and well put together and it was updated. I loved how the flat screen was hung up on the way instead of your average table tv. Each room had its own personal balcony which was enjoyable for a breath of fresh air. Will definitely be staying here again!

The relative location of the hotel is relatively remote and not facing the street. The original advantage is that there is no noise from the car to the car. As a result, there is a large equipment outside the room to work for a night and can't stand it.

Stayed here for 2 nights, with my son’s hockey team in the area for a tournament. The pictures the hotel puts up on their web site are very deceptive. It was chosen for the pool/ water park/ game room. Game room was closed because the roof was leaking and the floors were wet, collecting water in buckets. Water park open but pool heater not working, water freezing. Place was very dirty, old dated and in disrepair. Hallways reeked of marajania- my 10 year was complaining of the smell, it was making him sick to his stomach. We received 2-3 inches of snow one night we stayed there and lit not plowed nor walkways cleared. Only a few reasons i gave it 2 stars instead of one: 1. Staff were nice and tied; 2. There was hot water and a good stream to shower; mattresses were ok. One of the worse places I ever stayed . I don’t think I will ever stay at a clarion again this was soooooooooo bad.

This is another "chain" (Wyndham Property) that is run like a small family "mom & pop" store. I called ahead to make sure I'd get a nice room given over 173 bad reviews on their own website. I was given a corner room (202) supposed to be quiet. Instead, all night the room next door had women coming in/out. The hallways are not well lit and carpet worn/dirty. The only thing in the room that was pleasant was the bed mattress. However, sheet was not wrapped under mattress. The commode was almost floor level like a child's toilet. The hook on bathroom door was absent, the shower curtain was too low into tub, the fridge was clean, but not cold and crumbs behind bed and floor. The most disgusting thing was when I tried to call front desk -- the phone had some brownish glue like substance on mouthpiece and cradle. The location is far from main city and near other fleabag motels. Obviously, Wyndham does not quality control these property franchises and is only concerned about their fees. Using family members or servants of the family to do housekeeping, front-desk, etc. is not advisable. Normally, I would have asked for REFUND, but it is apparent these people can't afford to lose money otherwise their hotel may get even worst.
