      Really recommended! I came to the music festival for a long time. I was really lucky to find this hotel. First of all, the sanitation is very good, the room is spacious, the equipment is complete, there are disposable slippers, and there are slippers for bathing (sterilized). very satisfied. The bed was very comfortable and the pillow height was right. It was very tiring to run the music festival, but I came back very comfortable and relieved from fatigue. The attitude of the front desk was very good, and I was satisfied with the problem of the room type. The breakfast that comes with it is also well received. Chinese food can also boil flour and noodles. Hahaha, it’s really amazing. Congee, bread, biscuits, steamed bread, whole grains are different from the daily fried vegetables.       This is the second time I stayed. My goal is to stay in several hotels in this building and try other homes next time. In fact, I have already tried to choose other homes, not as good as this one, so I chose his home this time.       An amazing trip! Dong'an Lake Kapok Hotel is adjacent to Dong'an Lake Sports Park, with beautiful scenery. All rooms are southeast facing. You can watch the sunrise and the light show of the Universiade Torch Tower from the large balcony in the room. The room is very large and the TV is also large. There are many Movies can be on-demand, lights and curtains can be turned on and off by "Xiao Mian", equipped with a smart toilet, and the hygiene is very clean. The occupancy rate of the hotel is not high, so it is super quiet and very suitable for family vacations. I saw some reviews before saying that the breakfast is average. We feel very rich. The Chinese and Western meals are very complete, as well as braised beef, money belly, and steamed ribs. It is simply a good news for meat eaters. Now Ctrip also offers a fruit plate and a late check-out when booking a room, which is really a good deal. The hotel staff are very polite and warm, thanks to Tessy at the front desk and a handsome guy with a round face and glasses for patiently helping us answer our questions. If it weren't for the vacation, our family would like to stay for a few more days. Finally, let’s talk about some deficiencies that have nothing to do with the hotel’s own service: there is a dead end road in front of the hotel, and there will be a lot of illegal parking of private cars around 7 o’clock in the evening to watch the light show in the sports park. Minutes, there are a lot of cars in the hotel parking lot at night (there were a lot of cars in the parking lot when we went out at 7 o'clock in the evening, and the parking lot was empty when we came back at 9 o'clock in the evening). things to enhance the guest experience.

      This is my 6th visit here. I am in the travel industry, with very high end clients, which make it very hard to be me, being very critical of all things. This hotel is my choice for 2 major reasons. The location in Grünewald is excellent, but above all stands the staff. Levon I have known since the very first time arriving here, and I am hard on him, but MY LORD he is up to the task and rises above everything. He is the backbone of this hotel. Another person I want to give honors is Didi, friendly and helpful in any way. I travel with my dog, always have done that - and this is actually is not so easy, as some rooms categories are not accommodating us. Although - in rooms with hardwood floors, that should not be an issue. I am happy to pay for a total cleaning of the room after we leave. My dog lives with me in a very beautiful vila, with fantastic furnitures and tapetseries. Nothing is destroyed and the only thing in need of often changing, is the bed linnen. Well, this is of course a question to be put to the owners - but the staff, once again - LEVON is doing all they possibly can.

      There are more expensive hotels in Berlin, but this one offers five-star luxury at four-star prices. From the friendly welcome on arrival to the efficient check-out, you feel you are in the hands of true professionals, totally committed to your wellbeing. Our junior suite was beautifully appointed and quite spacious, with a really comfortable king-sized bed, coffeemaker, robes, slippers, large-screen TV (with CNN but no BBC World), a fair-sized bathroom with high-end toiletries, a bathtub and separate walk-in shower. The bar is justly renowned for its excellent cocktails, but was closed all day until 5.0 pm. Likewise the restaurant was open only for lunch during weekdays and only dinner at weekends. (These restrictions may be Covid-related and may change in future.) Breakfast is excellent – a good variety of hot and cold options, with chefs providing freshly cooked dishes from the open kitchen. The spa on the top floor has two saunas (hot and very hot!) and offers excellent massage and other treatments at reasonable prices. This hotel ticks all the boxes, and is certainly the best accommodation in this part of the city.

      This is a nice hotel, but it’s not very soundproof. You can clearly hear your neighbours, all night. My room was very clean, but the breakfast room was not. I usually got to breakfast early, and I found that often the tables were a little dirty from the day before, better attention needs to be paid to the cleaning of the breakfast room. The coffee machine broke on the second day, so I was unable to have coffee at breakfast. There was a pot of premade coffee but it contained milk which I can’t drink. Breakfast was ok. The rooms were comfortable and clean. There was a foreigner, Ferro (not sure of spelling) who was very helpful and helped me with communicating with the staff.

      What a wonderful stay, I had to change my regular hotel because the gym has closed. The service here is fantastic, firstly a lot of the reception staff can speak English! If you are having any problems as a foreigner ask for Cinderella/Cindy, she’s amazing! The gym in my opinion has exactly what you need and is open 24/7! The breakfast for me has a great variety, even though it is mainly Chinese food, they do have the basic western stuff. The room was clean and if I needed anything; extra pillows, extra cards, ice bucket with ice, ironing board and iron, etc… it was delivered to me immediately! I will be coming back to stay here again and again. Price vs what you get for that, is outstanding!

      This hotel is close to Tianfu square, it’s very clean and the hotel it’s self is quite nice. The hotel is very large with many many guests, so if you’re a foreigner like my travel companion and I, you expect to feel a little bit like a zoo animal with many children running up to us and pointing “外国人”. It’s a bit cute the first 10 times… then not so much. Most of the hotel staff are very very friendly. The Ayi seemed really adamant about me keeping my mask on in my hotel room, despite the local guests not wearing theirs even in public areas. Aside from all of that! This is the best hotel in the area for its price. It was only about 350 a night for what felt like a much more expensive hotel. There’re a few back alley’s around the way where you can some amazing local foods (just look to the areas with lots of locals pouring out into the street). It’s also walking distance to the Wenshu Yuan Monastery for those who enjoy going on city hikes!

      The hotel is an 8-10 minute walk from the IFS centre and Chunxi Road shopping area / Metro stop. The staff are very helpful and went out of their way to check everything was ok with my stay. (One English speaking manager approached me every time he saw me just to make me feel at home.) Staff remembered that I like a window seat at breakfast and ensured I had the same spot each morning! Unfortunately however, the rooms are dated and well worn. I saw three rooms in total (due to a booking mix up which they rectified,) all three rooms reminded me of an old people’s home from 1976. That said, they were spotless and roomy. If you are staying in Chengdu to see the delights of the city rather than the inside of a hotel room this place is worth using as your base.

And she gave me an excuse that the restaurants are closed and the bar which I assume they run is separate from them. Rather unacceptable for a brand that prizes on service.

      Very centrally located, a five-minute walk to the Chunxi Road metro station (about a 45-minute metro ride to/from Chengdu Shangliu Airport), or 1 hour taxi ride, depending on traffic. About a 30 minute taxi ride from hotel to the panda research base. Nested within the main shopping district in Chengdu, a very brief walk to Taikoo Li and many restaurants. A 20-30 minute walk to People's Park or an even briefer metro ride. However, Taikoo Li is not the *most* interesting area of Chengdu unless you are really into shopping. Great hotel, very comfortable and aesthetically-pleasing; would definitely stay here again, although I might also look to stay in a more interesting area (near Wenshu Temple or the Wide & Narrow Alleys) if I travel back to Chengdu.

      (TL;DR at the bottom of the post) My stay at the St Regis Chengdu was quite simply fantastic. I had originally booked a different hotel, but upon checking in, I was informed that they didn’t accept foreigners. As it was late, and I felt tired from the flight, I went to the nearest hotel which happened to be the St Regis Chengdu where I only stayed for a night before going to another place for business. My night was so enjoyable that I decided to return to Chengdu for three more nights, and I couldn’t think of a better place to stay than the St Regis. A day before my arrival, I received an email from Sunny and Jenny who asked me if I needed anything prior to checking in. Even though I didn’t need anything, it’s always good to know that I have people to talk to in case I do need something. Upon arriving, I was greeted by Zara Geng, the Chief Butler who also made herself available throughout my stay. She also introduced me to Eric who was my personal butler. It felt both strange and good to know that I had four different people to reach out to in case I needed anything. I’m usually quite critical, but I have nothing negative to say about the St Regis Chengdu. It’s not the best hotel I stayed at, it doesn’t have the most spacious room I stayed at, but I can honestly say that it’s one of the best if not the best hotel I stayed at in terms of hospitality. The only hotel where I was treated better, the price was way different as well! I was also quite surprised by their breakfast. Knowing that they are fewer foreigners traveling nowadays for obvious reasons, I was surprised to see there were still some western options, good ones at that. Very enjoyable breakfast, one that I was looking forward to each day of my stay. As for their lunch/restaurant, I didn’t try out as I preferred to eat at local restaurants. TL;DR: An excellent hotel at a nice location. The level of hospitality completely exceeded my expectations. I stayed in two different rooms, and they were both very good. The breakfast was also excellent, and while it’s mainly for Chinese (duh!), it’s also very good for westerners. Shoutout to Jenny, Sunny and Zara for making my stay an enjoyable one as well as all the staff from doorman to cleaning lady. You are the reasons I’ll stay at your establishment the next time I’m back to Chengdu.

      By far the best hotel I have stayed in during my time in China! The service levels rival that of some of the top hotels have stayed in in Europe and Asia. I strongly recommend ex-pats to experience this hotel, which offers service like none of the big chain hotels do. From the moment I walked through the entrance on my first day, to leaving on the last - every interaction was exceptional! Basil, the Deputy Manager was incredible - no question or request was too much, and his attention to detail and attentive service made my stay in the hotel and in Chengdu amazing. He helped me to arrange everything from laundry to tickets to the Sichuan opera, and genuinely cared about my stay with Wanda Reign. Even after I left he kept kept touch to ensure my further travel plans worked out. The decor of the hotel was truly beautiful, the most wonderful chandeliers and attention to detail everywhere was exceptional. The cleaning team did a phenomenal job, and the room was made up twice a day - with lovely touches such as little personalised notes and presents! I am a stickler for cleaning and genuinely I could not fault any area of cleanliness in this hotel. The room was incredibly well equipped, with a deep soak bath, excellent range of drinks / coffee machine and a super comfy bed! Electric curtains and smart technology using an IPAD to control everything was really efficient. I also have to comment on the wall paper in the room - it was beautiful! The food selection offered and amazing aray of Eastern and Western food to meet all tastes, and the lobby lounge served excellent coffee, afternoon tea, wine and cocktails - with exceptional service and lovely view! The service in the bar was incredible - Eudora was particularly helpful and welcoming. The equipment in the gym was high quality and offered a range of cardio and weight machines, and the pool was a relaxing place to unwind. I really didn't want to leave this hotel, and I will absolutely use this hotel and this brand again in the near future. I can't recommend it highly enough! A big thank you in particular to Basil, Eudora and the cleaning team - you are an amazing team 😀👏🙌

      the hotel located about 500 meter from the nearest metro station. staff can not speak english but they ate friendly. room is not very spacious but clean. however we did not like the design of the room because you have to come out dry youself in corridor. no privecy. TV has no english channel at all. Breakfast is reasonable. good coffee mechine. but if you come late good bread is finish. there is also an issue that the cleaning lady came into out room even though we put do not disturbe sign on. we were not happy for this.

      A really great experience of Chengdu. Well located in city center with plenty of things to see and do nearby. The food at the restaurant is wonderful and has a great variety of Western and Chinese cuisine. The facilities were fantastic as well, especially the gym and the change rooms, which contained a sauna, steam room and hot bath. The spa was a bit overpriced, to be honest, considering what you pay just a night's stay. But other than that, there really wasn't much to be upset about and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is keen on piece and quiet but also ready for a good night out.

      The Ritz Carlton was a great hotel from which to visit Chengdu. The hotel was great right from the arrival with lots of little extras that made the visit even more special. Having a plate of fruit brought to the room on arrival was a nice surprise as was the access to the Club Lounge which really made the trip. Being able to explore Chengdu all day and returning to be able to get a drink and snack or afternoon tea really made the visit for us. I would also highly recommend the spa which I visited twice receiving an excellent massage each time. All in all this was a great stay made even better by the hotel.

      GHA Titanium Card Stays at Kempinski Chengdu Services: First of all, praise the girl in red Crystal He for her friendly, dedicated and professional service. After checking in, Crystal He will take us to the room, take the initiative to help with the bags, and ask if we need to explain the room after we arrive at the room. Crystal He gave a very comprehensive introduction to the room, which mentioned the free use of the mini bar and the tips of other charged items. He was polite and polite.
