Just an amazing hotel! From the super helpful and friendly staff at reception, the little upgrade to the sunset bungalow, the huge swimming pool, pool bar and the beach just in front. It’s THE perfect spot to watch the sunset. I wish I had stayed longer!
You can rent bicycles from the hotel to go into town which is the busier side or they can call the horse carriage to take you to and from.
Oh and the outside bathroom was incredible, looking at the moon at stars when in the shower 🤩 I would definitely choose it again if I were to come back !From$29

This hotel was ok however I would not return. The first room given to me had a generator on the window outside which was very loud and vibrating the room. I asked to change rooms and the woman at the desk told me there was none left and didn’t even check. I asked for a refund and was then told I can’t get one but there is one more room available. This was at the front and can be very noisy. I found the woman very rude to deal with and didn’t seem to care. On Tuesdays the hotel next door has a party so don’t expect to sleep until 3:30 am. Room was fine. At breakfast there were ants all over the bread in the basket. I wouldnt recommend this place and couldn’t wait to leave.From$45

I don’t usually leave bad reviews but I feel like I needed to speak up for the businesses sake. Me and my husband arrived to the island last week and were excited to book a place, this place was recommended by one of the locals when we arrived in the port. Not far from the beach I must say! Now granted we should have maybe called ahead to book, but since the pandemic I was expecting vacancy. All of the other places we have traveled throughout indonesia didn’t require an online reservation, we just walked up and were able to book it right away since there is so much vacancy. When we arrived we saw the gates and lights were on and asked the place next door if they were still operating. By the way the place next door was super helpful in helping us and in the end accommodated us greatly!!! The place was definitely open but just no one was there ? My husband called out for someone but it had appeared they had just all left on lunch or something lol, we couldn’t locate the owner or any staff, yet the place was WIDE OPEN. It was a shame because the place looked super cute, but just no one was there. You think With the pandemic and everything there would be someone to take your business as we planned to stay there for a weeks time. I wouldn’t waste your time or money here and stay at another place on the island, somewhere where there is someone.From$48

First of all, the hotel is less than two kilometers from the pier, you can take a 150k carriage ride, the location is not bad, go out to the beach, (but most hotels in Geely are like this), the spa is very cheap at 50%, the hotel public area is very good , suitable for taking pictures, this is a lot of places. Secondly, the hotel has a lot of places to spit. The hotel is relatively small in size, and there are some emmmmm in the house...the original? There are many bugs in the bathroom, and a frog crawls under my feet when taking a bath. The sofa was very dirty and damp, and we didn't even cover the sheets! It was the feeling of winter... Then we had a magnitude 6.6 earthquake on the first day of the first day, the house was trembling, the door was very old, and it was so horrible. There is no window in the house. Although you can't see the sea in the house, you can hear the huge sound of the waves, and when the waves are big, the house will tremble violently. It feels very weak! The hotel environment is good, but it didn't rain for a few days there and it was extremely hot. Breakfast at the hotel is a la carte, but it is also necessary to have breakfast. The room was extremely dim and strange, a row of huts near the sea were all Chinese. The advantage is that it is convenient to travel, and the disadvantage is that it is very noisy. From morning to night, the barking music sounds constantly, and you have to call every night to turn it off. An extra bed can be added to the room, and an extra bed and breakfast can be included for an additional RMB 100 per child per night. This point, Ctrip also wrote very clearly. Our experience at Scallywags on Gili T was truly outstanding from start to finish. From our early arrival at around 11:00, we were warmly welcomed with a refreshing cold towel – a small but delightful touch. What's more, we received a welcome drink and were pleasantly surprised to be shown to our room at 12:00, a whole three hours ahead of the standard 15:00 check-in time. Our room was impeccably clean and well-appointed with everything we could possibly need, from bathrobes to a selection of toiletries, a hairdryer, and even tea and coffee supplies. If you found yourself in need of anything extra, the reception had various items for sale, including bug spray and other merchandise. In our room, we discovered a generous supply of drinking water in a dispenser and the fridge stocked with carafes of cold water. The bed was not only spacious but also incredibly comfortable, and the sound insulation ensured a peaceful night's rest. One of the highlights of the hotel was its secluded pool area. It was meticulously maintained, with frequent cleaning and proper chlorine levels. There were plenty of sunbeds, tables, and chairs available, and they even offered complimentary towel rentals for hotel guests. Scallywags also boasted an on-site restaurant and a separate grill restaurant, both usually bustling with activity. We had the pleasure of trying the grill, and it did not disappoint. The buffet salad bar was a standout feature. Additionally, the hotel had an attached spa with a diverse range of reasonably priced treatments, although we regrettably didn't get a chance to experience them. As our stay drew to a close, we mentioned our plans to visit Scallywags Resort on Gili Air to the receptionist, Rizal. He went above and beyond by organising our transfer there! Even the location is nice, about 15 minutes away from the harbour by bicycle which is a good thing because it's much more peaceful as all the loud music is located near the harvour, so staying at this hotel is much more relaxing. There are also other restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. There is a beach right in front of the hotel, but the water level is too shallow so it's not suitable for swimming.But it's not really a problem because if you don't mind walking a bit, about 1-2km north of this hotel, you can find the best beach on this entire island! You can even find turtles there!
I would not hesitate recommending this hotel to anyone as I am usually too lazy to write reviews, but when I do, it's either because it's too good or too bad, so you get the idea.From$33

The tent has air conditioners and fans. It also has hot water for bathing. I like bamboo toilets. The tent is surrounded by flowers and trees. It is very quiet at night. You can hear the songbirds. Santorini is located on the opposite side of the Gili T from the port. I walked through the center of the island to get there and it took me about 25-30 minutes. If you have big or roller luggage, I wouldn’t suggest this. I just didn’t feel like trying to reason with the horse drivers (no Grab on the island) cause it was my first time and I didn’t know how much it should cost. PS, horse drivers are a standard 100,000. Anywho, the resort is decent and I received a welcome juice. The room was a bit smaller than I imagine. My biggest disappointment was the pool didn’t work and I booked there for 3 nights. I had to use my friends pool every day which was near the port. Other downfall, is the resort is far from the night life which is closer to port if you plan to be out late. And getting back to the resort, you walk or bike down these very dark roads. I ended up leaving after day 2 because the pool still wasn’t working. Food wise, I only tried the Fried Ribs and it was ok. The people were kind and the service was nice I must say. They compensated me by giving me a free bike rental. My recommendation is if you plan to just stay in one place to relax, Santorini is ok for that if the pool is working cause the beach is just across from the resort. But if you plan to explore the island and possibly do night life, I would stay closer to the port.From$24

The entire environment of T Island is relatively primitive. The hotel is located in an alley by the sea. Walk to the sea about three minutes. It's not too close to the pier, it takes about 10 minutes to walk. If the carriage is 100,000 Rupiah. The alley was only occasionally crossed, and the door closed was quiet and clean. The bathroom and toilet are separate. It is weird that a Buddha statue is placed in front of the bathroom. . . The pool is about three meters long, and it's enough for children to pounce. Loved our stay here. We stayed in both the 2 bedroom villa and a pool side villa. The 2 bed villa is quiet, spacious, modern and clean. It has great facilities including smart TVs, a large fridge & a small private pool. The beds in both villas were super comfy & large. Once we got the room temperature right by adjusting the aircon & fan to our taste (not so cold!) sleeping was divine. The pool was amazing and regularly cleaned. We like to be able to get in the shade besides the pool and managed to for a few days, until others had the same idea - the lovely pool sun shades unfortunately aren't affective as they can't cover the loungers. Luckily most people love to sun bake. It's lovely too to be able to walk across to the beach and swim or snorkel at high tide, or chill out in the beach chairs. We thought the food was delicious and very reasonably priced (comes from next door but no complaints from us). They seemed to be onto maintenance issues, however the bathroom door in the poolside villa was broken & couldn't be shut properly meaning the air con wasn't working efficiently unless we tied it up with a luggage strap. In itself really very friendly and effortful staff (almost tooooo much) clean facility ... but somehow not ours. The small salt water pool was not refreshing and the beds are unpractically placed. In the shadow, it is impossible to be. We felt rather besides concrete. There you could quickly fix with more plants. Breakfast is very good. Except that the hearty variant was once properly salted. Water tank with drinking water in the bathroom and bikes are included. You are really fast everywhere ... with the right bikes. Some resorts have significantly better bikes (dicker and better maintained). This is simply needed because there are only sandy hike tracks. Otherwise you will hardly come forward. Shortest connection to the beach with bicycle (4 min) Super! Very quiet. We have always used to beach from resorts. It was always free but you should obviously order something. Win win situation. Prices were very cheap to cheap. We were very happy to snorkel (no riffs!) and just located on the beach and enjoyed the sun in the shadow :-P. Utara we were last time. I was in the Trawangan resort for 5 nights with my 2 toddlers staying in a 2 room villa. Perfect location if you try to stay away too busy/crowd area but also easy to reach to the key locations with few min walking. We had a great time, all the resort staffs are super friendly (just recall Mas Yari & Sandy name) & tried to accommodate us in best possible way. Only feedback I gave them was to have more fish options in the menu considering we are in a sea beach resort & expect to have more fish option. They helped extensively to guide us how to reach to the resort by managing the right boats & also helped to arrange the boat & car for the return to airport. Beautiful hotel, beach. The downside is that it’s impossible to swim - you’ll walk a kilometer on rocks and grass and it’ll still be knee-deep. And the second minus is the audibility in the rooms. The first night we didn’t sleep (the toilet was roaring very loudly🤪) and the second night it started raining (some areas of the roof are plastic or glass) due to heavy rain, it felt like we were sleeping on the street under an iron roof. Voici les différents points que nous avons pu noter : -＞ L’hôtel est proche du port et de la grande rue centrale où il est possible de manger, boire et surtout faire la fête au bord de la plage ;) + bien d’autres (5-6 min) -＞ Nous avons remarqué un grand effort de propreté dans cet hôtel au vue des conditions sanitaires de l’île qui sont déplorables. -＞ Il était agréable de se baigner dans la piscine qui était très bien entretenue par le personnel ! (+au moment ils nous voyaient dans la piscine, ils venaient tout de suite allumer les petits jets pour le dos qui fait filtration en même temps ) -＞ Le petit déjeuner est sous forme de menu et non de buffet. Le choix est assez large. De plus c’est cuisiné à la minute et nous avons trouvé ça très bon à chaque fois. —-＞ Et enfin, je tiens à remercier le personnel qui était ADORABLE ! Je pense que c’est ce qui nous marquera le plus dans cet hôtel. In the middle of the island, when we arrived, we called the local carriage, about 50 yuan, thinking that we had to go very far. The result was about ten minutes. In fact, this island is not very big. If you don't have a lot of luggage, you can find it slowly by using Google Maps. It takes more than ten minutes to walk from the beach pier to the hotel. It is not familiar with the road for twenty minutes. The hotel is full of plants and flowers, which are suitable for people who like quiet and nature. My husband and i chose Majo Villas after much deliberation as it is a little far from the main street, however from the moment we arrived, it was nothing short of PERFECT. Travelling with a 2 year old can be challenging, however this place was so accommodating that my son was in love with the receptionists! He started calling them ‘best friends’. Shout out to Nana and abang abang receptionist there. ❤️ Anything you want, literally anything, they try and cater to you. When we landed, we were really hungry, they assisted us with food delivery super fast! We had bicycles to move around. They arranged our travels from the airport all the way to lobby doorstep and back which was amazing. Hassle free. Theyve also arranged a sunset trip for us(highly recommended!). I mean i can go on and on. But yes, as you can see. Im honestly in awe of this place and will definitely come back. It was so beautiful, serene, cozy and calm. What a way to celebrate my birthday as well, as they assisted my husband with cakes and i had a morning wake up surprise. So to majo team (again shoutout to Nana who was exceptional!) kudos to youll. And see you again. The only downside was the place is a little far from the mainstreet, however you can always explore via bicycle and that would be perfect. 😄 they also do have cidomo’s if youre keen. According to Google Maps, it's about 10 minutes from Gili Port, but it takes 20 minutes if you avoid the passing carriages and bicycles. Never drag a suitcase and take a carriage even if you pay some money.
The owner seems like a local person, but he is very kind and personable. The rooms are so-so, but I understand that Gili accommodations are generally of lower quality than Bali. However, it was a little disappointing that there was a lot of sand on the bed.
The room is so-so. The advantage of this accommodation is that Turtle Beach is right in front of the accommodation, and guests can use the sunbeds for free. A huge advantage is that you can safely leave your luggage in the room and go out to the sea right in front of it without having to carry any luggage! Be sure to meet Squirtle~ Bicycle rental seems to be free, but we didn't try it because we thought we had to pay.From$59

Simply great and really recommended! We even extended our stay because we liked it so much. Rather inconspicuous from the outside, the hotel with its small, cozy bungalows is a real paradise. A beautiful, well-kept garden, two spacious pools and unbeatably friendly, courteous and helpful staff at reception. Kind regards to Mei, you are great! You have your own little house with an incredibly comfortable bed and a well-screened bathroom behind it, almost in the open air. We really had everything we needed and felt very comfortable. There is a lot to do and experience on Gili T. and you can relax and unwind perfectly in the hotel. As on the whole island, you can hear the mosque, but that didn't bother us that much and we still slept very well. You can rent bicycles from the hotel. Stayed here for 5 nights as part of our honeymoon trip. We were in Tenda villa which is beautiful with its own pool and outdoor-ish bathroom. It has a little kitchenette area where you can prepare coffee and have breakfast when they deliver it to your room. The mini bar is well stocked and well priced. The villa comes with bikes to use to get around the island. Unfortunately the bikes we had needed some care - the brakes didn’t work on one of them, at all. There were no lights on them, which isn’t unusual for Gili T but did cause issues. It would be advisable for them to add some. The bell also didn’t work! They were clearly old bikes as the handles were split and worn, and the baskets were all dented. Maybe time for some new ones!! The only other reason that Kuno didn’t get 5 stars was breakfast. We messaged every morning to get breakfast in our villa as the public/communal area is quite small. We’d message at 0730 and sometimes it would get to 0815 and there’d be no sign of it. But we’d have got up early as we were diving so needed to leave. Twice my Husband left without eating as it was too late. The hotel said it was because they were busy with lots of food orders, but our breakfast also turned up cold most of the time so it was clearly just sat waiting for someone to bring it. We also had an issue with eggs being mostly raw when they turned up so maybe specify that you want the egg fully cooked, just in case… We never ate dinner here so we can’t comment on the quality of any of the other food.From$70

Honestly the best hotel! It is located on the quieter side of the island. The staff here are amazing! They will help with whatever you need! They’re all so kind and friendly and honestly make your experience here even better! Nothing is ever too much for them! The food here is some of the best on the island! We had breakfast every morning (which was included) and lunch most days! All really fresh and cooked to order. The breakfast means you can choose off the menu and not just a buffet like most places. The rooms and facilities here are also so good! We borrowed the snorkels (which are free) and went snorkelling off the hotel beach and it was some of the best we did on the island. The rooms are perfect size and always so clean, you even get 2 bottles of water left every morning! There’s a fridge in the room too so can keep everything cool! The hotel organised a snorkelling trip for us (£61 together for a private trip) with Jay where we got to see multiple turtles! I recommend going early because the areas do get busy. The hotel also organised a massage and this was a very relaxing and good massage - perfect way to end our final day! Stayed there for 4 nights to enjoy the peaceful side of Gili T. If you want to go to the more crowded area on the east you have to walk around 20min…way is a bit scary at night as there are no lights everywhere and almost no people. But you can also use bike or the horse carriage. Latter we would not recommend. Rooms are spacious and in a good condition. The outside bathroom (we had to get used to it first) was very lovely as well. Also can recommend the restaurant where we had most of our dinners every night. Did snorkeling directly in front of the hotel which is really amazing…however, due to the stones and dead corals wear some kind of swim shoes (you can also buy them everywhere). Finally, I have time to write about the environment on the island of Gili, which is relatively primitive. Basically, the house is almost the same. The expensive room environment may be better, but the environment is the same. The location of this house is far from the beach of the pier but away from the other. While watching the beach at sunset, I like it very much. I don’t like this location. It’s very quiet at night. The price can also be cost-effective. The most surprising thing is that his family’s meal is delicious! It is better than the restaurant I eat at the pier! His family's prawns have been eaten out of stock! Particularly fragrant! Little friends who can't point can show pictures directly to them! The fried noodles and fried rice made at breakfast are also delicious! There is also a chicken porridge that is also very good to drink! There are three cute kittens in the yard. My children are going to torture the cat every morning. My wife and my 1.5 year old stayed at Nero North in late January. It was our Honeymoon and we had an amazing time which was made all the more special by the staff. They were so kind and friendly and were particularly playful and interactive with our 1.5 year old (which he loved). We will always remember our time there fondly not just because of the delicious food, comfortable facilities, great pool, beautiful/quiet location but the wonderful staff who made our time so special. Very kind staff, clean and spacious rooms, both the pool area and the beach are beautiful and very well looked after. I will give you an honest break down of the stay, but whatever inconveniences there were 100% are outweighed by the good things here. Check in- great! We rented bikes near the Port, and biked here, it was easy to find. We chose to bike because we had a backpack and didn't want to carry it in the heat. I want to say that the bike ride took no more than 10-12 mins from the pier. Realistically it also could have been walked. But, once we got here we saw that you can also rent bikes for the same cost at the resort which is nice (40,000 IDR/Day or 4$ CAD) We were greeted by a nice lady at the front desk with Welcome Drinks (Orange Juice) & Cold Towelettes, which was a nice bonus! Informed about the Island, breakfast, and all our questions were answered! They use metal straws, which is great for the environment! We just opted to not drink through them for hygienic reasons (Corona Timing), but this was nice to see. Room - When we got to our room we fell in love with everything! We have been travelling for the past 6 months & been staying at 4+ star hotels & resorts, and this room tops some of them for sure! You need to remember location and environment. You are on an island, in nature so some reviews that mention bugs, etc.. this is normal, we were not bothered at all. It's to be expected & actually, there was pest control spraying insects away. The bathroom is BEAUTIFUL. It is open air a little bit, which means yes you will find some bugs here and there, just keep the door closed and they will not enter your room. The nice air while you sure the Rainfall Shower is a very nice experience in our opinion. You are supplied with Natural (I think) soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, which smells good! Hopefully we can buy some at check out time. The bed is a King size bed which is comfy + nice pillows. I will say linens did have some stains and wear and tear here and there, including the towels in the shower, but I assume this is just from the usage. We brought our own towels, but Sure if we asked for them to be changed they would have been There is a safe, drinks, tv, air con + fan, big pool right outside, & your own hammock & patio set! Bonus: we forgot our adapter but the plugs by the bed take USB & our plugs which was great!! Pool - Nice and fresh water. Reviews saying it was dirty- To be honest again remember your environment.. you are in nature.. there will be bugs that fly into the pool, even in a pool in your own backyard it would be the same situation. This shouldn't be a problem, if it is then a nature resort isn't for you. When we went out to pool, someone quickly came with 2 pool towels. Food - We ordered food when we arrived, and it was great!! You can rent bicycles from the hotel to go into town which is the busier side or they can call the horse carriage to take you to and from.
Oh and the outside bathroom was incredible, looking at the moon at stars when in the shower 🤩 I would definitely choose it again if I were to come back !

But when we arrived at the hotel, a staff member told us that it would cost 200 yuan per night. Fortunately, I opened Ctrip's regulations and let him read it. It clearly stated that adults 200 and children 100 yuan. He knew he had a deficit and agreed. This feels confusing and feels particularly bad. When we were leaving, we kept saying that Gong Xi Fa Cai was actually tipping. The hotel has free bicycles, but bicycles do not have baby seats. The cakes are as divine as always and the mix of thai, malaysian, sumatran curries as well usual vietnamese and thai fare, just keep us coming back. Rooms are still very well maintained comfy beds good ac and fan all next to the pool. staff are genuinely amazing, friendly and helpful to a fault. bikes are free and well maintained. We very highly recommend and will be back ... oh breakfasts have a wide range of foid and are also a large part of why we come back!

From our early arrival at around 11:00, we were warmly welcomed with a refreshing cold towel – a small but delightful touch. What's more, we received a welcome drink and were pleasantly surprised to be shown to our room at 12:00, a whole three hours ahead of the standard 15:00 check-in time. Our room was impeccably clean and well-appointed with everything we could possibly need, from bathrobes to a selection of toiletries, a hairdryer, and even tea and coffee supplies. If you found yourself in need of anything extra, the reception had various items for sale, including bug spray and other merchandise. In our room, we discovered a generous supply of drinking water in a dispenser and the fridge stocked with carafes of cold water. The bed was not only spacious but also incredibly comfortable, and the sound insulation ensured a peaceful night's rest. One of the highlights of the hotel was its secluded pool area. It was meticulously maintained, with frequent cleaning and proper chlorine levels. There were plenty of sunbeds, tables, and chairs available, and they even offered complimentary towel rentals for hotel guests. Scallywags also boasted an on-site restaurant and a separate grill restaurant, both usually bustling with activity. We had the pleasure of trying the grill, and it did not disappoint. The buffet salad bar was a standout feature. Additionally, the hotel had an attached spa with a diverse range of reasonably priced treatments, although we regrettably didn't get a chance to experience them. As our stay drew to a close, we mentioned our plans to visit Scallywags Resort on Gili Air to the receptionist, Rizal. He went above and beyond by organising our transfer there! Rizal's helpfulness was truly appreciated and exemplified the exceptional service we received throughout our stay!

Affordable, clean, relaxing, quiet, the staff and management are very friendly and helpful to book activities etc. added bonus the stocked mini bar is same price as the shops. Highly recommend A++++

The pool was also perfect for cooling.
Unfortunately, the bed was very hard for us.
However, on request, we have received 3 additional bed covers to put them below.
That was all right.
The staff is super! They were always there when you had a problem.

It's not too close to the pier, it takes about 10 minutes to walk. If the carriage is 100,000 Rupiah. The alley was only occasionally crossed, and the door closed was quiet and clean. The bathroom and toilet are separate. It is weird that a Buddha statue is placed in front of the bathroom. . . The pool is about three meters long, and it's enough for children to pounce. Breakfast can be delivered directly to the room, and tastes good. The staff are very welcoming and very kind and worth recommending.

|1.4km from city centerI was in the Trawangan resort for 5 nights with my 2 toddlers staying in a 2 room villa. Perfect location if you try to stay away too busy/crowd area but also easy to reach to the key locations with few min walking. We had a great time, all the resort staffs are super friendly (just recall Mas Yari & Sandy name) & tried to accommodate us in best possible way. Only feedback I gave them was to have more fish options in the menu considering we are in a sea beach resort & expect to have more fish option. They helped extensively to guide us how to reach to the resort by managing the right boats & also helped to arrange the boat & car for the return to airport. Defiantly I'll love to go back again
