Had minor stomach issues and Chef got food ready to suit upset stomach. Wide spread Breakfast is available and my family really relished. Would strongly recommend the hotel for family/business stay.

|1.2km from city center*Cama Hotel in Ahmedabad* is like being at home away from home. Unlike most of the new shiny 4*/5* Hotels, this hotel exudes warmth and a feeling of being really cared for. In this Hotel you do not have to put on a false air of being ””rich and sophisticated””. It's a good, sober, warm and classy place with lovely antique- type ambiance. It's old , but it's wonderfully charming. The warm and smiling Staff , right up to the Top ***agement , simply went out of their way to help us and made our stay a memorable one. And, the food there is absolutely mouthwatering. Even the view of the River Sabermati from the Hotel is stunning . My son and I visited Cama Hotel this October, and, even though they have just reopened due to the Corrona situation, we were really impressed . For those who really want a calm, relaxing and warm experience..... I advise Cama Hotel.

|0.51km from city centerAbsolutely filthy, dated and run down. Unprofessional unhelpful staff. By far the worst hotel we stayed at in India. The pictures must be from 20 years ago. The shower had mould, tiles coming off, peeling paint. The delex suite was tiny. The mini bar was not stocked with basics. Soft drinks? We paid 2000rs for an extra bed in the room. Money was taken but we were told they don't have extra beds and could only offer a thin dirty mattress on the dirty floor. We asked if they could find a bed, the Receptionist was super rude, kept talking to everyone but us when checking us in, and refused to even try to find a bed. If we knew the bed situation we would have not booked this room or hotel. When we asked her about airport transfer for the morning she said book an Uber (we assumed this was normal and they did not offer an airport transfer). They did she couldn't be bothered to do it. When we returned to the hotel from sightseeing another member of staff asked if we had wanted a transfer. He arranged it for us for 1000rs, we had 6 suitcases so agreed as he said the vehicle was large enough to fit them in. We booked for 5am. When we got downstairs at 5am, firstly no one to help with luggage ok we ***aged to get it down. The *** at Reception told us that the driver would be back in around half hour he has popped out. Like what do you mean we booked at this time and have a flight to catch, the pilot isn't going to wait for us Then he said the bags won't fit in the vehicle (it was the same model of vehicle we had arrived to the hotel in). The *** who had booked the transfer was shown all luggage, and told the number of people. We explained nothing had changed since we booked the transfer so how could the bags suddenly not fit and could the driver disappear at the booked time. He was really unhelpful and unprofessional he said he didn't know what conversation was had and he could not do anything about it and we had to wait. The driver did not turn up. We were going to miss our flight if we waited any longer. After running through the airport with 2 small kids we ***aged to make it to our flight after Uber. I would never make the mistake of staying here again. Amateur dirty hell hole.

|4.07km from city centerMy experience was great even in this Pandemic situation(Covid-19),so here are some positives from the event:- 1) Sanitization of event Hall and social distancing maintenance. 2) Effective screening measures including temperature check to ensure a risk free environment. 3) Hygenic food environment and delicious food serving. Food is definitely one of the most imperative factor in such events and it was aplauded by majority of the guest members. 4) Scintillating lighting in the Hall and proper decoration and seating arrangements including the mattress in one side end of the hall. 5) The guests also praised the non hu*** intervention of the staff members for food serving considering the covid crisis. Overall it was a fascinating experience for us and the facilities, efforts contributed to make this event a memorable one for the lifetime.

The property is supported by two wonderful restaurants, The green house which is open for 24 hours and Agashiae, which specialises in Gujarati food. The property was elderly friendly and allocated a ground floor room to my 80 year old father who had accompanied me. The courtyards, the swings, the antiquated decorations, all made it a very memorable experience.

Rooms are spacious and clean, service is quick and staff is friendly and courteous. . There’s two restaurants( cafe piano and mr & mrs so***i). We visited here on Friday morning and tried their breakfast buffet at Cafe Piano, decor is just amazing with cool and happening vibes. Food was freshly cooked, and very delicious. . They also have one more restaurant, Mr & Mrs. So***i, which was also very cozy and wonderful place.

Second thing bothered me .. almost every thing was finished in breakfast at 10 ,no one ia filling them.. i asked for dosa to a staff.. no show I asked for brown bread toast.. waited for 10 mins .. no show .. i was tired of my night run.. i cant walk properly.. i walked out without eating,so overall very disappointing.. 3 stars for late check out

It seems that there are times when the staff is not there, so I think you should check it. The restaurant was good, but it might be better to ask how much Japanese food is. |2.21km from city centerThis Hotel is like my Home in Ahmedabad. But, this time I am a bit disappointed. The Room alloted to me had poor Air Conditioning. The Fridge was not switched on whilst giving me the room. It was only on my complain, it was put on. No TV channels were functioning. Only on my complain, it started functioning. The Dinning experience was also not to the mark as enjoyed by me as & when I stayed. The experienced staff handling Dinning Area were missing/transferred. Only 4 water bottles(Half Litre) are provided. Each hu*** being needs to consume at least 4 Litres of water per day. If it is double occupancy, water should be provided accordingly. In these summer months more care is needed on this aspect. I can understand that this pandemic has shaken this Industry segment. But, with opening of economy, people who have started travelling again look forward to at least the same comfort level as per their previous experiences. I am pretty confident, the ***agement can easily handle these petty issues & resolve them at the earliest. Specially the Dinning Area, Senior personnel need to be restored. Because after a tiring day, a good meal with care helps a person feel happy & rejuvenated.! My Best Wishes to this wonderful Hotel & their ever caring staff.

But the hotel itself is very good, the breakfast is very good, the service is very warm and the room is very clean. Lunch on the first floor, more cost-effective, ordered a chicken sandwich package, combined with 20 dollars. Dinner was eaten once on the second floor, basically the same as breakfast, but the price is 1000 rupees, more expensive, not recommended.
