We have been fortunate to travel the world and stay in many of the most renowned hotels globally, including two decades in Asia, but the Mandarin Oriental Marrakech stands out for being an exceptional resort hotel in a magical city. The gardens, public areas and pool are beautiful, the villas amazing, and the food throughout is fantastic (Ling Ling, breakfast and room service all excellent). However, the genuine hospitality of Marcel Thoma and his excellent team made our stay truly memorable - nothing was too much trouble, and we felt special from the moment we arrived to the last farewell. We visited and ate at several of the other well known hotels in Marrakech - so glad we booked the Mandarin as it is definetely the best by far in my opinion. We had a truly wonderful stay. Thank you so much to the incredible MO Marrakech team - we can't wait to return!

The hotel feels very good, the room is not very big, the bathroom is a little old, some service staff are a little impatient, and some are very good. The acting General Manager Mamdouh is the perfect and consummate hotelier, ever present checking everything non-stop, to ensure the guest experience is nothing less than 5-stars. Jalal from their F&B outlet surprised us with an entire loaf of lemon cake to take back to London that was not available on two breakfasts which we sore missed after our first breakfast. El Habib is an amazing server ready to grant you at least three wishes with his magic lamp! Khalid the Duty Manager also asks non-stop how they can improve a service that is already par excellence. Our hats off to the amazing pastry chef who makes baked goods that rival the best Parisian patisserie. I saw the two staff who cleaned every machine in the fitness center using four sprays leaving neither dust nor germ —- they focus on the minutest detail. The whole team is just extremely well-trained and professional and very committed in their desire to exceed your expectations. The synchronization of their efforts, in the most natural and sincere manner, always with big smiles, translates to nothing less than less than a truly memorable experience. They know how to make you feel like Arab royalty! We will certainly be back!!! Thank you so much to all of you!!! Shukran!
