Stayed at Leela Palace twice, this time is a club room, the price is not cheap, in early 2000. No time to enjoy the afternoon tea and drink at the Lounge Bar. Leela is still so beautiful, every detail is like living in the palace. This time I suddenly found that there was a shopping mall and a salon in Leela downstairs. Surprise~ The next decision is still here~
The hotel is relatively new and the overall environment is ok. But the waiter, really have to train well, check out for more than 40 minutes, not to print the wrong date is to mistype the company name, the tax number said to be added and did not add, keep making mistakes. The speech is also very rude.
We basically were a group of 4 on a business trip, with 2 checking in on day 1 and the other 2 on day 2. One of the members from the first group was checked in to a room, where he later found that the AC wasn't working (YES... IN A 5 STAR). He was, however, shifted to a different room later. The second day when we finally came back from our meetings, me and my colleague who were to check in on that day, were told that we will have to share a room. We had booked individual rooms atleast 10 days before. Of course, we refused. Instead of giving us individual rooms, we were asked to be shifted to a different hotel, for which they provided transport from their end. Since, the other hotel wasn't booked through the company, we had to shell from our pockets. However, we were lucky, as we were shifted to The Paul, one of the finest properties in Bangalore. The other colleagues complained about the taste of the food in the buffet. Also, no outside food, people or alcohol are allowed in the hotel. Post this experience, I don't think me or anyone from my company would be booking the same hotel again.
Breakfast is too bad, on the top floor, but the environment on the top floor is poor. I feel the food is cold, there are few types and the waiters are not in place. I ordered a cup of cappuccino, but I thought I had a glass of milk and it was special A small cup. .
Good ambience, super clean with wide window and bed facing outward to enjoy the view of surrounding. Good willing pool, nice gym and high quality SPA service. The breakfast is excellent in its quality and taste, more choices than you can expect. Absolutely the best hotel I have stayed in Bangalore. Will love to use it as my business trip stop over as well as. Short term office certainly.
- ok location;
- Ok breakfast (thought it suppose to start at 7 am - most dishes were out only at 7.30 am...);
- Ok service.
- lots of mosquitos starting from reception;
- A little old;
- Not comfortable towels.
In general ok.
It is very good to have such conditions in India. The hotel's breakfast has not been eaten, I don't know, but I feel that the hotel's staff service is a bit different. Some people are enthusiastic, others are indifferent.
My message is exclusively for female solo travelers. I still remember calling Mr. Bhaskar ( GM at the hotel) asking how safe was his hotel, he just said one thing - " we will treat you as our family member, please do come". I took his words and stayed there for 3N. Trust me, I did feel home, also, In time service, spacious room, no disturbance and privacy ( super important thing). What else do you need?! I would definitely recommend this particular place to everyone. Thanks for the service! P.S - This was the very first time I said alone at a hotel. So yes, you can take my word :)

Had a very long stay in this hotel for the project. Very bad experience. Hotel ***agement is pathetic. Food is infested with cockroaches and insects. ***y times food is undercooked. They will charge me unnecessarily. No proper cleaning. They will force you to take down bad reviews. Nearby La classic is better than this hotel. After my review google, hotel General ***ager Gautam called me over the phone abused me for putting up the review. Instead of rectifying the issue highlighted in my last feedback. Don’t know who made him GM, never seen such an incompetent guy like him. He just sleeping over there doing nothing. Mr. Gautam you are in hospitality get some ***ners about how to communicate with your long-staying guest. I was the person who bought our staff this hotel, Seriously won’t recommend anyone to stay here. 1. Hotel is pathetically maintained 2. Wastewater pipe broke and the whole 1st-floor corridor was stinking badly. 3. Be careful with uncooked food and insects 4. He calls up higher up and forces you to put down your review. 5. Mr. Gautam start acting rather than barking
