The room was excellent. However the venue was extremely to far for someone with disabilities. The line also extremely to long a wait to enter the concert. It was very painful for me. I have arthritis, the walking & standing was very tiring for me. I think there should have been a shorter route then through the ******. There needs to be more consideration for us that have trouble with our legs. Maybe a separate entrance for the handicap. Separate lines for the handicap. Some sort of special accommodation. Thank you for taking the time to read my review. Ms. Bynum

My wife and I researched most of the hotels in the area finally deciding on the Borgato. The visit started off by trying to valet my car at the Water Club; was told that because my car was a Tesla I should go to the other side. Cool, no problem. Check in was simple, used the app. Stopped at the desk anyway, asked about getting a suite for the weekend. The person called her supervisor who directed her to tell us that our visit was too long. My guess is that charging me $50 more for three nights wasn’t enough money when compared to what they could charge someone for one night. Whatever, I should’ve booked a suite in the first place. They were able to “upgrade” the room - but the hotel didn’t seem too busy so it I’m sure it wasn’t too big of an issue. The food selection was okay, the first night we ate at the food court which was hidden. Average cheesesteak, nothing to write home about. The next morning we are at Bread and Butter. We stood at the line entrance and weren’t greeted, so we moved to the other end where three associates were conversing. Two of which retreated to the back and the third moved to were originally stood.I ordered French Toast, it was okay. Clearly microwaved, which I wouldn’t have expected. My wife ordered egg sandwich that was also frozen and served on a burnt bagel. The tables were crowded and limited. The dealers had no personality, rarely interacted with the guests. A moved an empty bottle to the side of one of the tables - a pit boss asked if why I couldn’t put it in the garbage. That night we ate a Oldholme Stead Steakhouse. The only special was an A5 Waygu Steak, I was told it was the best steak they had. The steak had no sear and not cooked to my liking; I ate it because I had a hard time sending back a $200 steak. Again, we were met with service that was inattentive. We returned to the tables but due to the lack of additional staff to accommodate, the few extra tables were slammed. I waited on the sidelines for about 45 minutes to eventual open. The next morning we ate at the Metropolitan. Walked in and was met with a, “Two!?”. We sat and ordered after about 10 minutes. The food eventually arrived 35-40 minutes later, the quality was about the same as the morning before. However, this time part of my order was missing. When I asked where it was, I was met with “you still want it?”. Granted it was just sausage, but I ordered it. Instead of offering an apology at any point, I was given two cold *****s of bacon.

Our room at The Water Club was really nice. We were on the 18th floor and looked out over the Atlantic City and the marina. I appreciated the fact that The Water Club is associated with the Borgata and is close to the Borgata, but is actually a HOTEL and not a ******. I think that the hotel is probably quieter than a ****** resort would be because the people who stay there want to stay in a hotel, not necessarily sleep in a ****** and be able to gamble all night and all day. I also thought that the rate that we got for our room was was a good rate for the quality of the room. I would definitely stay at The Water Club again!

One of my favorite places to be! I love it here. Only thing that would or could make it better would be so sort of ****** action. Actually I just thought about a way to make them stand out from all the other hotels but I don't think printing it here would be a good idea...wonder who I should talk to??🤔🤔

The hotel had several amenities such as a workout room, spa services, rooftop pool, Several restaurants both upscale and a food court on site. A ****** with several new slot machines and plenty of tables. Right next door to Hard Rock and right on the boardwalk to the Atlantic City Beach. Traveled during the air show which was a pleasant surprise. Would definitely stay here again.

All hotels in Atlantic City are close to the sea, so the room scenery is not bad, but the hotel inevitably shows a sense of age in every place. Many facilities can be seen old and slightly deserted. It is also a casino, which is incomparable with Vegas.

We spent 5 days 4 nights in this hotel Rooms view sea newly renovated, at the 40th floor It was fantastic. Everything is modern. Very well isolated for noise. VERY clean. Closed swimming pool, renovation. Only 3 restaurants, extremely expensive $ This hotel is very well located on the Boardwalk. Ideal for couples. For the ******, very little machines, unlike neighbouring hotels. The only hik at this hotel is: No smile of employees! Small sensation of ... disturb them, except for doors and room women.

The hotel was not too bad, clean. As expected for a courtyard. Tiny full size beds. Even had a slight view if the ocean. However. The parking situation was terrible. We paid $15 per day , automatically in our bill, but if you come back to the hotel after dark, the lot is full, and there's a very slim chance you're going to get a spot. We wanted to leave the car and walk to the restaurant, but walking back to the hotel after dark, is also a very risky thing to do in that neighborhood. We walked by a couple of guys, with a bunch of high end stolen walets in their possession, and at the end of the street toward the boardwalk is a gentleman's club, so don't walk by with you kids after dark. I won't stay there again. If they pick the hotel up and place it in a better location, I would consider it. But since that's impossible, I'll pay extra to stay at one of the better places, on the boardwalk.

The last time we stayed at this hotel was four years ago and the place was very average. Yesterday's stay was an abomination-everything that could go wrong did go wrong. Check in was decent but then the problems begin. We were assigned a room on the tenth floor. After waiting about ten minutes for the one working of the three elevators to arrive we stunned to find that the button for the ten floor had been smashed out. We have to go to the eleventh floor and walk down with our luggage. The elevator problem only got worse the next day with perhaps forty people waiting in the lobby trying to get a lift up to their rooms. Once in the room we were amazed-pealing wallpaper/chipped furniture/unclean. the hall leading to the room was filthy also-trash and vomit stains. the pillows were ”my pillow” rejects and impossible to get comfortable. the staff though were fairly pleasant and the starbucks was staffed with very nice people and the breakfast was well prepared and tasteful. many hotels used covid to upgrade their properties but this place downgraded . we spent the next night at the holiday inn absecon a few miles away and it was a total delight in every way. i hope this courtyard gets it act in shape -i liked it in the past.

My employer prepaid for my trip and I received the confirmation email from the hotel. I had a 4pm check in time. I arrived at 5:45pmand the check in line was huge, but hey cool they have check-in kiosks. I enter my info and all looks good. I get. A message pops up that says my rooms not ready yet and to leave an email and I'd be notified when it's ready. I dropped off my luggage in a friend's room since I was there for business and had a meeting. Around 9:30 I went back to check the kiosk since I never got an email and after 30 mins in line they told me the kiosks are too dumb to reassign rooms. He proceeds to ask for my credit card (typical at hotels to guarantee you don't have any extra incidentals charged to the room) and I leave to my room finally at 10pm. I get to a room that reeled of ****, there were ashes on the bed spread and a wash cloth by the room door on the floor. The carpet was dirty and I found clumps of hair on the bathroom floor. Really nice. I then find out they charged me for the room even though it was prepaid by my employer. They charged over 50 people in my group even though the state prepaid it. After 3 days it's still not fixed even though a manager said they were taking care of it. During my visit they never came to freshen the sheets/towels. Even after I complained to the front desk about how dirty the room was. I was told come to front desk and they'd switch room but that also meant carrying my stuff back downstairs and waiting in line. At that rate I was charged for a room for a day for a shopping 2 hours of access to a dirty room. I feel like that day should have been comped. I will never stay there again. UPDATE: They finally refunded the room charges to my bank on Thursday after thie was being addressed in Monday.

We had a Family Reunion at the Claridge Hotel this July 2022. The location was in the center of everything. This luxury hotel was clean, comfortable, quiet and had good service with wonderful restaurants, views of the ocean from the rooms and rooftop , exercise room, pool and arcade. Something for everyone to do and enjoy. The rooms were clean and check in was quick and easy. Shari Buyse helped us plan a detailed, elegant, fun filled 3 day event. Shari assisted in planning every detail and was always available to review any questions we had. She was helpful during the event to ensure everything went accordingly. She ensured the food was perfect, as well as, accommodated the guests with dietary restrictions. Shari helped our vision of the event to come true. All feedback from our reunion guests was that it was the best reunion ever and it was unforgettable. They commented that the food was perfect, event space and hotel was memorable, and the views were beautiful. Our guests were amazed.

I found out at the time of checking in there is $100 security deposit! The funds would be released 3-5 business days. This impacted considerably my already very sp**** finances. The room I reserved it was not the room I received. It was at the opposite part of the hotel, away from our group creating a very difficult situation for us. Later in the night we discovered the bath tub drain would benefit from the services of a plumber. The side of hotel our room was was being renovated. The room itself was clean. Since it was not a matter of life and death we brave the situation. We walked more within the hotel navigating between our room and a source of food or our group than we walked on the boardwalk. Be warned that many vendors accept cash only and many don’t even have prices posted. Expect from $9/slice plain pizza or plain funnel cake, $18 cheeseburger and up and plan accordingly for your stay in Atlantic City. The pool is outdoors, about 4feet deep and the bottom of it feels like plastic. I almost fell when I got in because my foot slept. I’ve never slept in a pool before! Kids enjoyed it tho.

Well even though i always request a ocean front room or atleast ocean view i never really get that. This time was even worse the view of the parking lot where there were people doing donuts & revving the engines extra loud taking videos or something at like 3am…. i swear the gentleman checking us in purposely gives you crappy views especially when I’m right in front of him asking for a nice room we’re here celebrating & clearly they don’t care. He’s checked me in before & also gave me a room with no view… The rooms are mediocre at best the hallways are musty & smell like cigarettes. Make sure you bring your allergy meds the amount of dust on the ceiling from the air/heat vent will def set you off!! We clearly stay there for the restaurants & atmosphere Other then that enjoy!!

On the surface, Golden Nugget is a solid choice. Rooms are nicely sized, pool area is great, tons of restaurants and generally a good vibe. However, service is severely lacking. The front desk is a complete disaster. I had added an extra night last minute for the two rooms I had reserved, and it was booked as a separate reservation. I called ahead and was assured it wasn't an issue. When I arrived, the agents were extremely pleasant and also told us there was no issue and we were good to go. Come to find out when I was in the middle of working the next day with my do not disturb sign on, this wasn't the case. Housekeeping barged in and said I was supposed to check out. Funny enough, they never came back the next two days to clean the room. I called the front desk and got a completely rude and different tune than the night before. They had me booked in an entirely different room. They managed to fix that, but myself and my travel companions had to go back down to recheck in and get new keys. They had to leave the pool and I had to stop working while I was trying to wrap up so I could enjoy my vacation, to go fix this error. Had this been communicated at check in, I would have handled it first thing in the morning. Sean at the front desk was, at least, apologetic and gave us a few drink vouchers. I would have been happy if everything was resolved. I thought we were done with the problems at this point, but it didn't stop there. The next day when we went to the pool, my friend who went with me to check back in, wasn't on her room so they wouldn't let her in, even though I witnessed her give her name. We had to leave and go down to the desk to get her added. I then find out that my room was blocked from room charges when I tried to order drinks at the pool, even though they had run my card, and I have the $100 hold on my amex to prove it. A little while later, my husband complained to the front desk when he couldn't charge a few coffees, they assured him he shouldn't have this problem and it was fixed. He went back down, and the workers had to call the front desk to confirm, and they said he was authorized (and it was on my bill). Later on, I called for room service and ran into the same issue. I called the front desk to complain and they told me my card was declined (it wasn't) and I needed to come down to run the card at 11 pm, yet again. I told them I had cash, and I was simply letting them know how many issues I had. They said they were sorry, but it was somehow my fault that the card wasn't run. I've never checked into a hotel where my card wasn't in file. They don't even let you check in without a hold. To wrap up the experience, when I addressed the issue with the woman checking me out since I didn't know how I could have charges since I was blocked from adding any to my room, she saw there was a credit card listed that wasn't mine. I gave her my card to show her it didn't match, and to settle the bill. She brought out the hotel
