Lovely hotel although we had an accessible room overlooking the courtyard. The shower was not suitable for anyone over 5ft 4in as the shower head was at that height. The air con was very noisy. The curtains did not meet at the join and so people in the courtyard could see in through the slit/daylight comes in. Lastly the room had a funny smell. But the bed was very comfortable. It was very clean. Our second room was on the second floor overlooking the marina and the road. You could hear traffic noise and people walking around upstairs but lovely bathroom and very clean. The staff were all charming and couldn’t be more helpful. The location is great for wandering around Sausalito which is fabulous. You also get 15% off the Firestation cafe which was just gorgeous! I hear that the larger rooms are stunning.

Very good location. Fisherman wharf is 2 steps away with all its places. Very expensive parking - $75 per day for valet (only one option), in-n-out. The car is delivered quite fast, but both time I asked for it it was not within promised 10 minutes. Resort fee (there is a resort fee, pay attention while booking) includes $15 per day restaurant credit, coffee on the morning and free marshmallows in the evening (they have nice fireplaces in the courtyard, but pretty busy). Water refill station also present. Room (junior suit) was quite spacious. It was clean, only bathroom had small ”issues”. Safe and fridge in the room were very handy. Staff was friendly and helpful. There was a guard in the evening in front of the main door - nice option for San Francisco.

Dear RIU Hotel Master and Team, I would like to specifically commend front desk lady for their work and going the extra mile to assist with my request, etc. Even I CHECK IN use 2 hour so long, so i cant go the art museum 😭, but anyway i was extremely helpful and made me feel very comfortable during my stay. The hotel facilities were excellent, and I particularly enjoyed swimming pool, nice breakfast restaurant, etc.Overall, my stay was extremely pleasant, and I would highly recommend your hotel to others. The hotel is right on Fisherman's Wharf and, depending on where you are in SFO, is very centrally located. Pier 39 is just a few minutes' walk away. We reserved a king-size room with a bay view. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The lobby was also very inviting, as was the courtyard with its evening fires and smores. The room, however, unfortunately did not live up to the standard shown in the hotel photos. Our room was in need of an update, and the air conditioning was very loud. However, the room was spacious and had everything you could need.

It’s my 1st time visiting SF, and I’m very lucky to stay in a very good hotel like Marriot Vacation Club. In addition to the standard service of Marriot, the location is very good and convenient, 5 minutes walk to Fisherman Whaft, Pier 39 and 3 minutes walk to cable cars. Super convenient.

Very Hippie style hotel. You can have free coffee in the morning and free wine during evening time. You also can play music with turntables in your room. The most funny thing is you could choose one plant in the front desk and bring to your room.

We got charged a few extras on arrival called destination fee which wasn't clear when booking. It didn't give us any extra benefits for the money not worth it but had to pay it.

Be sure to view the Hotel Caza website for the extensive list of additional fees associated with the booking (destination fee, parking, etc). The prices are very transparent on the site and aren’t as clear booking through third party. This hotel has incredible customer service! The front desk ambassadors are warm and welcoming from check-in to check-out. Vanessa and her colleague truly provide world class customer service. She provided 10-15% off coupons for restaurants on the pier. We had a fantastic time for my mother’s birthday in San Francisco and it would not have been the same with another hotel. The location of Hotel Caza is near Fishermans Wharf. It is walkable to many attractions such as the Coit Tower, Ghirardelli’s, the piers, etc. There are an abundance of great restaurants nearby. We had a delicious brunch next door at “Eight am” cafe. Other attractions are a bit further out and require transportation such as Golden Gate Park, Sausalito, and redwood forests. This is a very family oriented hotel. There are many games in the lobby for children and adults. Bicycles to peruse the city are provided on a first come first serve basis each morning. The swimming pool is on the smaller side and always has kids in it. The evening cookies are packaged and not freshly baked. The lobby has an overpowering smell of perfume. Overall, we had an amazing time at this hotel and highly recommend it for family vacations!
