The location of the accommodation near Central Station is very convenient, with only a 7-minute walk, cleanliness and spaciousness of the space are commendable, the staff were friendly and helpful. The nearby Italian restaurant Vapiano, it's wonderful that you enjoyed the food there. Overall, a great experience and were pleased with the recommendation from Trip.com.

Close to HBF Wien, Gluten free/Vegan/Bio options for breakfast, helpful, friendly staff, sustainable catering/hosting practices. We loved our stay at the Zeitgeist & would recommend for travellers wanting a safe, comfortable stay while contributing to sustainable tourism! We are 50-60 years.

The location is very good, a bunch of famous shops nearby, it is very convenient to go to museums or important attractions, all on foot. The concierge helped book a seven-person car to visit the farther attractions such as Schönbrunn Palace. The driver was very nice and there was no additional charge for the timeout.

I came to Vienna four times and lived here three times, every time I was very satisfied. Shopping is convenient and breakfast is OK. The doorman is also very nice. The older one actually recognizes me and greets me. I was pregnant when I saw me last time. I brought a small BB this time. Feel very warm

I took my two teen kids to Vienna for the first time. And stayed at this iconic, historical hotel in Vienna Hotel Saher. We thourouly enjoyed the visit of this city thanks to very helpful and professional service at the hotel. Hotel's location is excellent, you can enjoy Saher Torte without queing up as they serve them at breakfast buffet every day. Staffs are also nice and efficient. Historical decoration, Royal feeling,
- Guest User
A simple and elegant hotel. The room comes with the famous Sacher Torte for free. The room is small and the bathroom is even smaller. However, this is generally the case for hotels in the old city. The location is very convenient. Just downstairs is the pedestrian street and major attractions. It is within walking distance to the Golden Hall. ten minutes.

First the location is so central and you can get anywhere very easily. The ring tram is one block from entry. The hotel and rooms are stunningly gorgeous. The room that we stayed in is so spacious. It had one bedroom, kitchenette, full dining room, entry and a full bath with walk-in shower and a second half bath. The bedding is very luxurious with soft down pillows and comforter. The blanket is also soft down and very comforting. The people working here are amazingly helpful and kind. All of them. Whoever does the hiring should be praised. Gunther is real gentleman and his only interest is to make our stay comfortable and welcome. His team at the front desk, Tamara, Franziska and new trainee, Ana are the day crew. The were so helpful in so many ways. Always available and willing to do anything and everything for us. The night crew, Yusef and Zeljko took care of a few minoradjustments even late as we were checkin in. Sasha and Kornel were in charge of greeting people at the door. They were such nice gentlemen. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Ashish was also really nice and helpful. I hope that I have not left anyone out because they all contributed to making sure our stay was so good. The people who took care of the rooms have done superb job. I had the good fortune to attend a private wine tasting in their cellar. For those who don’t know Palais Coburg actually has the largest wine collection of the greatest wines in the world. I cannot remember if it 30,000 or 60,000 bottles. Niklas who did the tour for me is a young sommelier who knows a lot. He also works in the 2 Michlin star restaurant on the premises. He guided me magnificently. He tells the whole story of the rebirth of Palais Coburg by the new owner. “You get treated like royalty staying here. We LOVED staying here.

We have just returned from staying here and I do not usually write reviews but felt I must. The hotel is beautiful and suite we had ( Dom Fernando) lovely but what really made it was the staff. The reception team were fabulous helping us to navigate the world of testing and vaccine emails, even calling the test centre for us. The attention to detail was outstanding. Every member of staff wished our son Happy Birthday despite us never mentioning it, even giving him a birthday surprise at breakfast.Nothing was too much trouble. If only every hotel gave such a high level of service. Thank you for a wonderful stay I do hope we can return one day.

There is a room with a six-story sloping roof. If you mind that the shading effect is not ideal in the morning and you cannot sleep well, don't choose it. The overall feeling of the hotel is very good, with a strong sense of design, the environment of the breakfast restaurant is very good, I also tried it for dinner, and it is a good product. Through communication, the hotel changed the room type the next day, with full blackout curtains, which completely solved the problem of affecting sleep. The overall service is also good. The location is very convenient. Just near the church and pedestrian street. Very easy to walk to different sights.

Rosewood, there is not much to evaluate. The room type and facilities are already very good choices. This is the case all over the world, but I feel that this service in Vienna may not be so satisfactory compared to the magnificent elsewhere. When we left, the doorman did not help us with our luggage. (Still will give a tip). The location is still very good next to the pedestrian street in the city center.

Ive stayed at many Ritz properties in city centers all over the world and this one is by far and away the nicest I’ve ever stayed at, both in terms of service as well as the property itself. When I arrived (on foot) I was immediately greeted by the bellman who offered to take my luggage. Check-in was pleasant and I was offered a glass of sparkling wine. As a Titanium member, I was proactively upgraded from a Deluxe room to a Premier Executuve room on the 2nd floor. I really could not tell the difference, but it was still a very nice room (more on that later). I was happy to see they my room was ready at noon and my bags were delivered to the room about five minutes after I arrived. As a Titanium member, I was also offered a property specific welcome gift that I was able to cash in for a 17€ cocktail at the bar by the lobby. The room was absolutely stunning, and was a nice mix of modern and classic. The ceilings mort have been 15 feet high! Bathroom amenities were by Dyptique. The bed was heavenly as were the pillows and bedding; I never wanted to get out of bed! I loved how all the light switches were labeled with what they controlled. The room had a mini bar, Nespresso machine, and plenty of complimentary bottles of water that were replenished twice per day. I simply cannot day enough good things about this room. One minor issue I had, there was a small leak coming from my toilet that I reported that never appeared to be addressed. It didn’t really bother me, but it did appear to get worse throughout my stay. I was able to dine at all the restaurants during my stay. The food at the steakhouse and Italian restaurant was absolutely out of this world, service was good, and drinks were delicious. Prices were fairly high, but it was a nice splurge, and I think the quality and service delivered were in line with what they were charging. I went for a night cap at DBar, and they have a great selection to choose from. I tried the roof bar, but it was about to rain so I was advised to leave as there was no covering. My rate included breakfast, and there was a good selection of hot and cold options, and I was also entitled to a dish from the menu. The buffet was very high quality, especially the pastries; one of the best pain aux raisins I’ve ever had. I did go to the pool and liked the ambiance of the spa area; I wish I could have spent more time there. I had one service issue, which was that during my stay, it was Vienna Pride. The parade passed by the hotel entrance and I guess it got so crazy that the hotel basically went on lockdown and it was nearly impossible to enter. It took me a while to finally get someone to let me in. Not sure how that could have been avoided, but that irked me a little. Great hotel, highly recommend, can’t wait to return!

We took a regular car service from the airport to the hotel. The doorman opened the car door and welcomed me by last name. Welcome Mrs. MHBSoDak. We had a very pleasant check in service. We did arrive later in the evening. We were offered a reservation at one of the restaurants. We eagerly excepted. Because of status we were offered an upgrade to a suite, however they also noticed that I have some mobility issues and offered for me to decline the upgrade. Because I am able to climb a few stairs I did except the upgrade which was fantastic. We did take a quick look in the executive lounge where I was again greeted by name. We had a cocktail and then went down to the steak restaurant which was pleasant, but I felt the service was slow and uninspired. They could probably work on that but it didn’t matter because we left the next day. What I will say is that my husband lost his passport. We did call the hotel and they searched the room and called their car service that they ordered for us. The missing passport was at the Vienna airport. Because passport control didn’t give my husband his passport back. That was incredibly disappointing. How could that woman not yell at us? As she sits there with a passport that doesn’t belong to her and she just cleared two of us? Very disappointing indeed. But the hotel absolutely did everything they could to find the passport. We were fortunate to get it at the airport Lost and Found and I did call the hotel to let them know that we were covered it.

This was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The location is perfect, but the accommodations are spectacular. The breakfast bar included made to order eggs, not just a regular buffet. The restaurant and bar are beautiful art deco, examples of old glamour. the staff is very friendly and helpful. It’s expensive but worth it.

After a difficult time we deserved a treat and selected the Bristol hotel. Not only did we fall in love with Vienna, but also with the hotel, which felt like a warm blanket. We'll start saving to come back some day. From our hearts: Thank You...

The location, facilities, service and hygiene were all perfect and welcoming! The location was good, about 10 minutes walk from St. Stephen's Cathedral and the square. When I first visited the hostel, there was a little mistake in finding the entrance. The accommodation was clean and air conditioned so I could have a comfortable stay !! Breakfast and coffee are so delicious and high quality There is a small movie theater in the lobby and a piano. Fully recommend !! I really want to go back to the hotel :)

The saying third time lucky isn’t apt here because each of the three times I’ve stayed here over the years has been lucky. It is truly a special place in a beautiful city. A wonderful breakfast, friendly staff and a really timeless but cool decor make you feel special guests. A big city hotel it’s not but neither is the price. Being stone’s throw from the centre of the old town makes it convenient to just walk out the door and wander. Enjoy, we did.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The first thing that struck me was the cleanliness of the rooms. Housekeeping did an exceptional job, ensuring that everything was in order and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout my stay. One standout feature of this hotel was the complimentary mini bar. It was a pleasant surprise to find that not only was it stocked with a variety of beverages and snacks, but also that I had the option to customize the items according to my personal preferences. This level of flexibility and attention to guest satisfaction was truly impressive. The service provided by the hotel staff was another highlight of my stay. They were genuinely warm, accommodating, and always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests I had. Breakfast at the hotel was a delightful experience, especially the Austrian breakfast offered. The variety of dishes, including traditional Austrian favorites, was a treat. The quality of the food was excellent, and the attentive staff ensured that everything was replenished promptly. It was a great way to start each day of my stay.

Hotel is clean and modern but that is about it. Where to begin. Very few amenities in the rooms. They do not automatically refill shampoo, conditioner, etc. Ihad to phone twice one day and wait for approx 45 minutes for housekeeping to come. When they did, they brought towels (which we did not need) but no shampoo or anything else I had asked for! Regarding Executive lounge… forget it!! Evening “cocktail” service starts at 17:30 and goes until 20:00 when they close.. virtually nothing on offer to eat. See pics. One type of red wine, one white and one rose.. They did have coke and water as well as two bio iced teas but nothing but nuts to eat the entire day….. The pics were taken on Friday Oct 7 at 17:39..9 minutes after opening… not a great selection but they expect people to pay for this!! Money back please!! How about the Concierge.. I wanted some assistance on Saturday with a local restaurant.. it was 15:30 and I was told that there was no-one. The Concierge had gone home!!! On a Saturday when the hotel is packed!! This is so not normal!!! Horrible Management all around.. won’t be coming back to this place anytime soon!! Future guests beware..

A lot has changed since we were there 8 years ago. Instead of ONYX-BAR there is now a restaurant. The breakfast buffet has also been abolished. I still like the rooms very much, only the water stain on the ceiling could have been renovated. Shortcoming was the third bed that was added, more like a camp bed model. The consumables were always replenished so we could make coffee whenever we wanted. I really appreciated that.

Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, the hotel has a long history, was established in 1600, the hotel service level is high, breakfast is good. There is a Hop on Hop off city tour bus route nearby, and the Metro Sweden Square Station is within a 10-minute walk of the hotel. If you want to drive by yourself, you should pay attention, because the parking space in Vienna is really tight. I happened to have a parking space (26 euros for one night) to stop the car.

The hotel is in a good location, close to the central train station. It only takes 4.3 euros from the airport to the hotel for 7 stops, and it takes less than 20 minutes. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the city. I walk every time, and I can still see the scenery on the road when I walk slowly. In addition, there is an embassy area near the hotel, so the safety index is relatively high. It is a 3-minute walk from our 🇨🇳 embassy. There are also Chinese restaurants, supermarkets and parks around. The hotel staff can speak English and the service is good, and the overall is OK! Recommended stay!

The hotel is wonderfully located providing accessibility to train services, airport buses and the tourist bus. The staff are also very friendly. However, the check in process is problematic as it makes things difficult for early arrivals; my flight arrived Vienna by 6am and I reached the hotel by 9am but was not allowed to check in till 3pm otherwise I pay €30 which I think is exploitative. I also expect the hotel to be providing drinking waters to the rooms daily as is presently the case. I spent 12 days, aside the complimentary water provided on arrival no water was provided even after I asked for water. My request for cultery was not responded to till I checked out 3 days later. Moreover, there is no variety in the breakfast as same thing was served everyday for 12 days. Over all I enjoyed my stay and will likely stay again.

The location was decided because there was a film festival in City Hall Square, but the satisfaction was the lowest among the hotels I stayed at in Austria. Some bathrooms, etc. looked like they had been renovated, but overall it felt old. The staff seemed to be acting coldly without any instructions on how to open the parking lot, eat breakfast, or anything, but when another white person checked in, they looked so different. That made the hotel's first impression bad. People were friendly.

The location in the immediate vicinity of the main train station is very advantageous for problem-free arrival and departure, for example by train from the airport for little money. There is no need for a taxi. All destinations in Vienna can be reached very well by subway or tram are available a short distance from the hotel. The breakfast is good. Absolutely sufficient. We had booked a room with a garden view, which we would not do again in retrospect. Our room had a view of a canopy and the surrounding residential buildings. The room was in On the first floor. It was quiet You have to kneel on the floor if you want to use it. Personally, I didn't think it was that great to prepare a cup of coffee or tea in between. Actually, I expect that when a hotel is classified with 4 stars on many hotel websites. Conclusion: I was satisfied with the stay, but would try something different next time-

Good experiences: Very good location. 1 min from the Metro station. Supermarket in a distance of 30 seconds walk. Water and apple in the lobby as refreshment. Relatively affordable in Vienna. Bad experiences: Unstable water temperature during bathing. That made me just like travelling between hell and heaven for many times. They opened the window when I was out. Then I found insects when I came back. That was a bit disgusting and I need to spend time to deal with the insects. No telephone so I can’t seek help at once. The toilet flush wet the floor.
