"I think everything was just average for the price of a deluxe room for one night. I've been to many luxury hotels around the world and this room was pretty shabby. The pillows had feathers sticking out and bed was lumpy. The furniture was worn out and over used. The hotel was pretty dim in all the common areas. The shower's water pressure was nice. The staff was okay, but not very helpful. I asked for tea when I arrived and I waited for about an hour but it never came up. I went down to the butler and they never ordered it. So I went to the Remington restaurant in the hotel instead. It very dark in the restaurant and loud because of drunk wedding guests at the bar. There weren't many dinner guests. The shrimp tacos were very good, but the duck dish was average. The was something that looked like a roach dropping on my bread plate. The service was good. The valet service took my ticket and brought me the wrong car. I had to wait another 15 minutes for the correct car. I tried to book a spa appointment before my visit, but I only received a call back on the day of my visit, after the spa closed. The spa manager tried to get me an appointment before I left, but by then there were no openings. I tried to attend afternoon tea on Friday and Saturday, but it was fully booked online. I asked if I could have afternoon tea in my room and they declined. I was disappointed because at every luxury hotel I've been to that serves afternoon tea, they also serve it to the guests in their rooms if its requested. So basically, it was a pretty boring experience. It definitely wasn't worth the price. It's seems like a hotel that uses the prestige of the St. Regis name to reel guests in, but its just an average 3 star hotel."
"Had a wonderful weekend at the St. Regis. We were in town over Mother's Day weekend for multiple reasons and stayed at the St. Regis. It was a beautiful hotel and the staff couldn't be more helpful. In particular, the Valets were so nice and helpful. Some things in the rooms need to be updated, some of the wallpapers is peeling or bulging and the door had a big mark on it where obviously at some point they'd had to get through the lock, just needs to be painted. But the small things did not hurt the fantastic time we had and the way the hotel was so beautiful."
"Awesome hotel! Everything was amazing! From the moment we arrived on the property, until we left, we were delighted! Our room was large and very nice….comfy bed, spacious bathroom and a seating area! The aroma, when entering the hotel , was delightful! Every staff member we encountered made you feel welcome! The Remington Bar was great…tasty drinks and the bartender was awesome….very personable and very attentive! We will be back!"

"We ended up overall disappointed with our stay. My husband and I went here for our anniversary. They noted on our reservation that it was our anniversary so that they could "ensure we make it special." Upon arrival, our room had a bottle of prosecco and some desserts--a lovely surprise--that ended up being from my parents, not the hotel. Apparently they told my mom that they would gift the dessert, but then they charged her for both. They also charged us for both upon checkout. So, both my mother and I had to separately argue these charges with management. This most definitely is not a 5-star hotel for one main, painfully obvious reason: the staff is NOT willing to go above and beyond for you at any step of the way. Their "complimentary Maserati service" will ONLY transport you within walking distance of the hotel (3 miles). The desk told us "of course, let me go get him" and then the driver walked up and said "no, too far." I have never heard of a 5-star hotel blatantly refusing a service to a guest, especially over such a silly stipulation. Apparently it was simply too far for him to take us since it was 3.9 miles instead of 3.0 miles. Wow. Also, we checked the pool earlier in the evening to confirm what time it closed, and there were no hours posted. We even said "about time we stay at a proper hotel that doesn't suddenly remove amenities such as a pool just because of the time of day." Alas, when we tried to use it later in the evening, the pool was all locked up and we were not allowed in. Even when we requested access, explaining that there were no hours posted and we would like to enjoy a swim, we were again told "no". Again, I have never heard of a 5-star hotel saying no to a guest this much. We are paying enough that we should be granted these luxuries... we are not irresponsible children who are going to drown in the pool just because the sun is down. Also, upon reserving, I was convinced to spend extra on the room with a balcony because I told him how much we would enjoy sitting out there. Beware, if your balcony is facing South and you stay in the Spring, you will never get to enjoy it... the sun was shining directly on our balcony at all hours of the day. We also received the one balcony with no cushions on the chairs. I am glad others enjoyed the restaurant, but even that was an overpriced disappointment for us. For the record, our appetizers were delicious, as were our drinks from the bar. The service was wonderful until after they served us coffee, and then they forgot us. I had to stand up and look for someone to remind them we were still awaiting the check. My husband said his steak was a cheap cut, the mashed potatoes appeared to be made from a package, and my pasta bolognese tasted like chef boyardee. Essentially, we paid $750 for a hotel that was architecturally gorgeous but made you feel like you were at la quinta."
"What an amazing hotel! I'm quite the hotel snob - have stayed in many luxury hotels and boutique hotels and I must say this is my favorite one! It's well appointed from the lobby to the rooms. The rooms feel like you're at home, but with a luxury feel. The location is really good too! Valet was always quick and polite. We will definitely stay here again!"
"There is a parking lot and can only be parked by passengers. excellent service. Wifi is fast."

Four words: #1 Vendor for our wedding!!! The entire team was professional, respected our time, busy schedules and feedback. Samantha D. and Ivory T. were superstars! The chefs and banquet team were also outstanding! Ivory and Daffney were fabulous with our hotel block. Samantha especially was incredibly helpful and patient even in the last moments of wedding week when we were struggling with late vendors and logistics. She maintained the highest level of professionslism at all times. The reception in Picasso was beautiful, food and cakes phenomenal and service impeccable. They even facilitated our entrance from a horse-drawn carriage as well as our grand exit in busy downtown Houston. Amazing! We cannot appreciate enough the perfect combination of professionalism, friendliness and serious efficiency of the whole team. Bravo to all! We will return!

Originally, I went for the location and the reputation of double trees. The room as a whole was okay, but when I took a bath at night, I found the sewer was blocked. I called the front desk to reply and I could only change the room. The big and small packages were reorganized and then changed from the 7th floor. When I got to the 9th floor, it was too much trouble, and there was no waiter to help. After you enter the room, you must first check the bathroom and toilet flushing. This time it is too bad luck. In addition, there was a strange smell in the aisle on the 7th floor. My teammates didn't like it very much. When I moved to the 9th floor, it disappeared. There were a lot of black friends in the hotel. Either there were opinions or some black friends looked a little scary when looking at people.

We took our kids on a mini "Stay-cation" for Spring Break. The room was nice. The bed was comfortable. The biggest hassle that I ran into was getting extra towels on the way out to the pool and once we returned to our room. We were a large group and had two rooms so the kiddos needed towels for the pool and of course towels for baths afterward. We ate off property at surrounding restaurants. My favorite part was the hot tub--much needed. Pool & hot tub ar open from 6am- 10pm.

The direct flight from Houston to Beijing is night shift. There is no place for the hotel to check out. I found a good one on Ctrip and the price is cheap. There is no hourly room at the scene. Direct check-in is also more expensive, so I booked from Ctrip. . The rooms are simple and clean, suitable for business guests to move in quickly. The decor is modern. There is nothing else to praise.

Everything was immaculate only reason I put 4 star on cleanliness is bc the toilet was not flushed when we got to the room. Nothing too gross but was a little skeptical but after checking everything else out that was the only thing. I had a double bed and would’ve liked more than one coffee package ( 1/cup) but the front desk was very helpful to send a housekeeper to bring more. the staff is amazing. From the greeters outside to the house keepers and front desk. Me and fiancé went to the top floor to watch the sunset it was beautiful while it lasted it closes at 10 normally but it closed at 830 because safety precautions. There was no rain but someone who works at the bar saw lightening in the sky and decided it was in everyone’s best interest to end to the sight seeing early. The staff were kind about kicking Everyone out. Definitely have to come back to finish sight/star gazing! (:
