My husband and I stayed here Dec.16-21, 2020. We loved the place and will return in the future. We stayed in a junior suite. Very roomy, nice decor, kitchenette, We asked for a high floor overlooking the pool and ocean and that is exactly what we got. What wonderful view and we could sit on the balcony and enjoy. The place has very nice landscaping, 4 pools (?) and everything was open!!!! The infinity pool; and swim up bar overlook the ocean. What else could you ask for? The grounds are super nice and the resort is large so there is plenty of space for everyone to not feel crowded at all. They have activities for kids and adults if you want to partake. After checking in we did have a rep ask us about doing a tour of another property but we declined and that was that. There was no pressure whatsoever.
Great service from everyone we encountered.
The weather was ideal. We opted for the all inclusive which includes use of fitness center which is otherwise extra, etc. but you certainly don't have to. It was a perfect place and our niece and nephew happened to be staying at the same place at about the same time so we spent some time with them. It was our nephews first time in Cabo and he was very impressed with the place and its location and just a short walk to the Marina and shops, etc.
We were in Los Cabo for our honeymoon! My wife and I love the sea and therefore had several activities planned in Cabo San Lucas which originated from the Marina. When we did our research Breathless came up as the best choice based on location as well as comfort.
We arrived quite late at night but the xhale staff were on hand waiting for us to check us in. They took care of all our questions and requirements. The staff overall over the length of our stay were awesome! Special mention to Chris from the entertainment team.
The food was decent and restaurant staff were great. There was once we were really tired on the dinner table after spending the whole day out at sea. We asked the staff if we could instead have our meal in the room. They managed everything in a very organised and sanitary manner.
The pool parties are awesome and a proper vibe too!
Overall I would recommend this place for the location, service, and overall vibe! Its always fun and there’s always something happening!
Big thanks to the Breathless team!
PS we loved it so much we extended our stay for 2 more nights 😂🤪
I don't know where to start. We stayed at this place based on the reviews. I believe because people pay the exorbitant prices they feel must rate it highly. At check-in we inquired about an upgrade as we are Diamond members. Before we could even ask the question, she said no. Like a script. I checked on their website immediately after check-in and there were at least six rooms available for a one-step upgrade on these same dates. Obviously we were not told the truth. We went down to have a couple of drinks. Understandably the well drinks were $14. No problem. And a 15% gratuity added to the check. No worries as I always add at leat twenty percent as a gratuity. Then they added 16 percent tax on top of that. That is illegal in Mexico. Menu prices must always include tax. I have alerted PROFECO which is the body that polices this illegality. There are many great resorts that are half the price or less that di not take advantage of the tourists that are just as nice. Come in Hilton.

The Solmar resort was nice, reasonable for the price. We did not pick the all inclusive since we wanted to eat outside. Uber was easy to hail cost about $2-$3 to get to town. We picked this since my husband wanted to go surf fishing right at their shore. There are 2 pools and a jacuzzi. The studio was large and had a kitchen, full size refrigerator and dining supplies. We did however request a room change because the waves were so loud it made the whole room shake and kept waking us up. We upgraded to a 1 bedroom penthouse for $20/night more. It was better located, had a fantastic view and it was not loud. I would probably go back and stay at this hotel again, but get the 1 bedroom penthouse again. The photos here are of the studio. The water and coffee can be used but you need to pay for it.
I was humiliated at the hotel reception because Trip.com did not deposit the money of the booking, I paid the hotel again to stay the first night until the hotel could get in touch with Trip.
The next morning they told me I had to leave the room because the hotel couldn't get in touch with Trips and confirm the reservation.
Only at the time of check-out the receptionist said the reservation was paid for Trip.com
I was humiliated several times because Trip.com has not deposited the booking value for the hotel, I will search my rights/advocate.
We arrived at Marina Fiesta on Wednesday, May 25 for 5 nights. We are owners at Hacienda Encantada; however, decided to stay here this time on the use of a certificate. When we booked the reservation, we were guaranteed a room with a King Bed (due to certificate use), even though the copy of the certificate the resort had did not guarantee bed type. When we arrived in the room, we found a Queen bed. We immediately called the front desk and asked for a room with a King Bed. She said they did not have any that night. She told us she would have one the next day. The next day we went to the front desk to get our new room keys. They told us that the only king beds in the resort are in the newer remodeled rooms. They said that the type of room guaranteed to us do not even have King Beds. They charged me $160 US Dollars for the remaining 4 nights. I had to have my luggage ready for the bell staff to move, as we were going away for the day. I later found out that is not true and some of the studio rooms do have king beds. It is also reflected on the website. That means that the front desk was lying to me. They should not have lied to me in order to get the upgrade. Either way, my stay was guaranteed to be a King Bed. We found the staff to overall be very friendly. The room was clean and nice. It is an older resort; however, kept up very well. The reason the resort received three stars in this review are because of some of the friendly staff. We found the bell people, concierge, housekeeper, lobby bartender and sales reps in the lobby (Yesenia) to be extremely kind. On the other hand, we found that there was one server at Baja Lobster that was absolutely miserable. We also found the front desk and pool staff were not that friendly. Other than the room type, we were shocked by some of the other issues during our stay. The main pool is just gross. The filtration system in the pool was "down" during our stay. The pool has all sorts of debris, dirt and layers of sunscreen in it. One of the staff members informed us that the filtration system is down and they are working on repairing it. Therefore, the pool was not available to us. This was disappointing as two of our five days were going to be spent only at the resort. The restaurants on the Marina were delicious; however, we went to breakfast Monday morning at the pool and quickly lost our appetite after realizing the birds just eat off the communal spoons during the entire meal. This is not the staff's fault. They just need a better breakfast setup and a way to stop that from happening. Also on Monday morning the power went out for several hours at the resort and we could not properly get ready for our check-out and ride to the airport. Two times prior to departure, I tried to let the manager on duty (listed as Wendy) in the lobby know about the issues we had during our stay; however, she was unavailable both times. When I returned, I contacted the resort and no one would contact me b
The hotel is very good and with excellent location. However, someone contacted me previous my trip from a whatsapp business account claiming to be from the hotel and asking me to pay on a “secure website” to guarantee my reservation. The link was not authentic and it was an attempt to still my credit card information. The hotel just said that it was not their problem, but Booking.com issue. Also for national travelers, they charge in USD and establish a change rate 10% higher than the bank exchange rate
I have my stay booked between June 18th to the 25th. I had made this booking though an Interval International exchange. Just received an email from Aurora Esparza from Hilton saying “The resort team is contacting you to inform you that the property will be closed due to some technical issues. As a result, the resort has protected your reservation and assigned you a room at a nearby property, with a unit of comparable quality and size to the original reservation.” I called the resort directly and spoke to someone from front desk. She informed me that there is no resort closure during my stay. It also appears that those dates are available to book on other travel sites as well as on the Casa Dorado website. Shortly after this email, I received an email from Interval International saying that the reservation was moved due to a resort overbooking issue. I had picked casa dorado due to its swimmable beach. I had also made this exchange in September for 2021, almost a year ago. This sort of last minute change is simply unacceptable. I am also thoroughly disappointed in the lying by Ms.Esparza and Casa Dorado to justify the means.

Plus side - Stayed in an ensuite cabin, which was clean and nice. The location of Park is great - on beach and 10mins walk to town, a few mins walk to iSite. The negatives - did not feel welcome here - when checking in, was told (as an ordinary solo traveller age late 50's) "it'll be alright as long as you behave yourself", and it's the type of place where you get told lots of "don't do's" and rules. Bad start worsened by the atmosphere of rest of Park and copious empty beer cans around - didn't feel particularly safe or relaxing, despite the great beach location. Not Park's fault but the woman in cabin next door yelling loud early every morning of my stay to organise/round up what seemed to be a Scout group of kids was a bit annoying too. Also wasn't advised how to access the communal kitchen (normal cabin key did not work for this). Value - compared to holiday Parks in other towns, it's a bit expensive - but was cheapest accommodation could find in Gisborne so fair value. If you are not too fussy and perhaps don't mind a bit of noise and the expectation that you may be there to cause hassle for the staff, by all means stay. Location is hard to beat.
The location is very good, there is a parking space in front of the room, and some rooms have a spa pool, which is very comfortable. There are also bath tyrants, and children who take a bath are not afraid of cold. You can also cook by yourself. It's really good.
