A distinctive hotel with a minimalist aesthetic, one that strives to have personalized service but perhaps overstretches what it can accomplish. Very spacious rooms, almost too spacious given the design features, unless one plans to entertain, and limitations in practical design—the one small table in my room was nearly three meters from a power outlet, making it a burden to keep a computer charged. I had an oddly unhelpful exchange with the concierge before arrival (as if I didn’t know how to use Google) and little subsequent support. On the pro side, the room was spotless and truly refreshed twice a day, and the breakfast was quite generous, the quality excellent. Indeed the restaurants were the real highlight—the beetroot risotto was wonderfully rich and flavorful, sweetness tempered by a generous addition of parmigiana. Yet overall, I think if I return to Perth I will try the Ritz Carleton.

Room was just spectacular, staff really friendly, fresh towels 2 times a day and night chocolate l. It truly was an incredible experience

stayed for 6 nights in June, 2 rooms, every day there was something left behind, hand towels were not replaced, tea was not refilled, teaspoons were missing, soap was out of stock, bedsheets were quite messy after being cleaned. there were dirty tissues still left behind. room cleaning was not in accordance with the star status and price

Great location for food and shopping. About 10 mins away from train station and Chinatown. The staff are very friendly and appreciate the greetings when we go out in the morning and back in the evening. Feels like home! Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at The Ritz-Carlton Perth. From the moment we arrived after a red-eye flight, the service was thoughtful and warm. A special thank you to the hotel manager for the kind gesture of offering an early check-in—it made a world of difference for us. To our surprise and delight, we were also upgraded to a river view room. The room itself was spacious, modern, and beautifully designed—it truly felt like a home away from home. Every detail was immaculate, and the comfort was second to none. Service throughout our stay was impeccable. Staff were consistently attentive and professional without being overbearing. Breakfast was another highlight. The menu was delicious and changed the next day, which was a nice touch for guests staying more than one night. Couldn’t ask for more—thank you for making our stay so memorable. We’ll definitely be back.

Really unique heritage hotel. Comfortable large room and excellent Gimlet bar with bespoke gin cocktails. Bartender made me a drink even though bar already closed for the day. Luxurious apelles bath products available for purchase below retail price. You get a lot of bang for your buck with free minibar (w beer and wine), welcome cocktails at Gimlet and a mini but high quality brekkie.

Cons: The TV doesn’t have Netflix or YouTube etc. There’s only one cartoon channel to keep the kids entertained. The bathtub area does not have shower head. Only a low-height tap so u need to walk over to the shower area to rinse the soap off. Pros: room is quiet even though we stay at level one. There r 2 washers and 2 dryers free for guests to use. The beds have wheels so I can easily roll one of the beds to be against the wall, since my toddler tends to fall off the bed when sleeping.

This is our second time staying here, and it honestly just keeps getting better! From the moment we checked in, the staff were warm, welcoming, and super helpful — they really make you feel at home every time. The rooms are spotless, comfortable, and have everything you need for a relaxing stay. You can tell the team takes real pride in keeping everything perfect. The breakfast buffet is a huge highlight — so many delicious options! Fresh pastries, barista coffee, fruit, and hot dishes made to perfection. It’s the kind of breakfast you actually look forward to waking up for. We also love how peaceful the hotel feels, yet it’s close to everything. The gym is so well equipped and pool is well maintained. It’s easy to see why we keep coming back — it’s consistently amazing every time. Can’t wait for our next stay!

There is a holiday inn hotel near Murray street but we choose the west Perth branch based on the review, and though of not far from cbd bout 15-20mins walk. Clean room and spacious, I can opened my 2 mid big size luggage in the room. Car park can be an issue, limited lots at the roadside, heard they have a tpa car park near Murray street but its still quite a distance. There are cafe and restaurant near by, japanese, Vietnamese, Thai and west..

Close to the airport, convenient, buffet breakfast 30 Australian dollars per person, from 6 to 9, the clerk recognized us from last year, awesome 👍
