Sanbona Wildlife Reserve is a league of it's own. Our driver picked us up from Cape Town and it took about 2 and a half hours to reach the gate of Sanbona
From the gate to our glamping tents was another 90 mins drive into an expansive dessert - 62,000 hectares
We got real lucky and saw Lionesses, Cheetah, Giraffes, Hippos, Rhinos, Baboons, Elephants etc. Our Guide Joe was absolutely fantastic and knowledgeable
The glamping tents were so spacious, connecting you right back to nature with outdoor showers, jacuzzi etc
Our meals were fantastic, and they can accommodate to most dietary restrictions. We ended up trying both the Springbok, Kudu, Hake, Kingklip - all local delicacies
Love how South African wines were included in our full board experience allowing us to sample Bruts, Rosé and even their Pinotage
We ended the evening stargazing as usual, this time being able to see both the Southern and Northern Hemispheree

Highly recommend. Maybe due to low season, I arrived a bit early. Thanks for allowing me to have a early check in. Absolutely nice stay, nice view. If wish to have a suggestion for improvement, that will be the mattress a bit soft for me.

Good hotel overall but more of a four star than a five star. Breakfast excellent and Cave Bar very unusual and great fun. Rooms average and missing some facilities for a five star hotel - small swimming pool, very limited gym and no kettle in room. Staff friendly. The hotel is in a very good location. The lobby, breakfast room, swimming pool and bar all offer a panoramic view of King's Landing. It is very close to the old town and you can go there now. Parking is free. The breakfast is OK. There are indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The waves are a bit big in the water and smaller in the morning. There are saunas, massage pools and swimming pools indoors. Many celebrities, including Hollywood, the Queen of England and politicians, have stayed here. There is a celebrity wall. The bathroom in the room is very large, but there is a problem with the door. It cannot be opened by swiping a card. Later, the staff told me that there is a problem with the door and it needs to be pushed in very hard. I still recommend this hotel.From$409

The hotel's environment is first-class, and the breakfast is unprecedentedly rich. The hotel has a good heated swimming pool and sauna. The hotel has its own small garden with a view of the entire Adriatic Sea.
Bus No. 4 can go directly to the ancient city from the hotel entrance. It only costs 2 euros. You can also buy a three-day ticket at the hotel. The three-day ticket can go to the city wall, the castle and take the bus non-stop for three days, but please remember to save the first bus trip. bill
If you lose that simple ticket, you cannot take the bus. Remember to keep it, otherwise you have to go to Juice Information to get a replacement ticket.From$262

The hotel was in a good location away from the crowds great for family with kids like us. The night we arrived we had a problem with air conditioning and the staff member said they knew about the issue and the air was getting restarted and will be fine. Well it wasn't I went to sleep and woke up multiple times in a sweat. In the morning I told the front desk staff and I got the old ”Sorry about that” nothing to compensate but they were able to fix the issue that next morning.

Very nice hotel, good location, near the pier, take bus No. 6 at the entrance to the castle and it's only a few stops away, and it's only a few hundred meters to the nearby Lapad Commercial Center. Really excellent location, service, and property. Beautiful views of the Adriatic. Multiple pools to swim in, + access to the sea as well. Promenade walk to many restaurants and other options. A quick bus ride or taxi puts you in Old Town. All just perfect!

Large, well-maintained hotel complex with many bars and swimming pools, including a very nice indoor one. Two bus lines 100m from the hotel serve the old town.
Very complete and well-organized buffet breakfast but quite noisy given the number of rooms.

We had a wonderful stay at the Imperial Hilton. Dubrovnik. Location great very near the Pila gate, to enter the old town. The room was big, clean and added bonus it has a balcony to chill out. Breakfast was lavish and served on the terrace which was bright and lovely trees surrounding it. Fantastic staff too. Great indoor pool and sauna and steam room.From$277

Parking is charged, it seems to be 10 euros a day. It is the peak time for taxis around 9 o'clock in the morning, and bolts do not accept orders. However, it is very close to bus No. 6, and the terminal is the ancient city pile gate
