I took my parents to Zhenjiang for a weekend trip and stayed at Shuxiang Mansion Hotel. This hotel is located in Xijindu, a historical ancient street in Zhenjiang, and is very close to the famous ”Three Mountains” (Jinshan, Jiaoshan, and Beigushan), making it very convenient for travel. The guest rooms of Shuxiang Mansion Hotel are distributed in Bao's Money House and Yuntai Tower built during the Republic of China period. Mr. Sun Yat-sen once stayed and gave a speech here, with a rich historical and cultural heritage. The guest room facilities are high-end and exquisite, with an antique style, which is exactly what my parents want. The four of us lived in the two-bedroom and one-living room on the ground floor of Bao's Money House. There was a patio at the entrance, which was ventilated and easy to light. The layout of the hall is like a study, with all the four treasures of the study. Dad put down his luggage and spread out the paper and wrote quickly. The hotel front desk was very considerate and said that Hanfu could be borrowed for free. Mom was very happy and immediately borrowed a set of Hanfu to take pictures in the elegant environment. The breakfast is a set meal for each person (one bowl of pot-lid noodles + one crab meat steamed bun, one fresh meat steamed bun, one vegetable bun, one marinated egg and braised meat, the noodles and steamed buns are freshly cooked) + semi-self-service, with fruits, salads, bread, coffee, pickles, and millet porridge. The hotel rooms are not only well-equipped, but also warm-hearted, which can be reflected in the details. When guests check in, the service staff will carry their luggage to the room for them, and explain in detail how to use the facilities. The room has already been filled with welcome fruits. In addition, freshly cooked Tremella soup will be delivered in the evening, making people feel at home.

There are many hotels in the scenic area. After struggling for a long time, I chose the best one in the evaluation. I was not disappointed. Before I checked in, the front desk began to contact us and added WeChat to send us the location of the taxi. Afraid that we couldn't find it, they waited for us on the roadside in advance. Seeing that our children were quite big, they took the initiative to upgrade us to a parent-child room for free. The weather was hot, and there was iced green bean soup to drink as soon as I checked in. And it was unlimited, which was a surprise. The front desk can make fans for free and stamp Xijindu commemorative badges. The children were so happy. The hotel is different from other renovated Republican-style hotels because it is a building from the Republic of China. The room is very high and particularly antique. It is a tourist attraction in itself. The front desk lady also took the time to explain to us in detail the history of Guangzhao Mansion and Baoshi Money House, which was so loving. By the way, there is free sweet soup in the evening. If you need it, just tell the front desk lady directly, and it will be delivered directly to the room. Hahaha, it's great value for money, and it satisfies all the needs of eating, staying, and playing. I will definitely bring my family here again if I have the chance.

We stayed at this Maoshan Hot Spring Resort during the National Day holiday with family, kids, and friends, and our experience was absolutely delightful. Having stayed at many resorts before, I can confidently say that Vivian Chen at the front desk was the best I've ever encountered. Her service was incredibly warm, professional, and thoughtful – truly exceptional! She went above and beyond, considering every detail for us guests, from room type selection to price comparisons. She's beautiful, kind-hearted, and professional! I highly recommend her! Thank you for such wonderful service, and I wish her all the best in her work and life. The breakfast spread was plentiful, and there were many entertainment facilities for children. There's also a musical fountain show from 8:00 PM to 8:15 PM, which, coupled with the fireworks set off by other guests, made for a perfect evening. This time, the hotel even extended the show by one song, haha.

Nestled by the mountains and a lake, you can enjoy fireworks and a musical fountain show by the lakeside at night. The room even has a hot spring, so you can soak while stargazing. Absolutely fantastic! Vivian's service was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, truly commendable. The hotel also boasts its own courtyard with a lawn, a lake, and a large platform – I even shot a video there, and I'm very pleased!

During the seven days of the Spring Festival (from New Year's Eve to the seventh day of the first ***** month), go to Zhenjiang to feel the New Year atmosphere. Stay at the Crowne Plaza Zhenjiang Zhaohe. The hotel is in a good location, with a view of the ecological wetland and the Yangtze River. There is Jinshan Temple 4 kilometers away in the west, Xijindu 2 kilometers away, and Beigushan 2 kilometers away in the east. The hotel can reach the scenic spot along the riverside Citywalk in half an hour. Facilities: The hotel is quite new, the rooms and bathrooms are large, with floor-to-ceiling windows, and you can directly see the river view. The room humidifier and automatic toilet are all available. Hygiene: The room is clean and tidy, there is no odor, and the bedding and towels are quite clean. Service: The hotel service is not bad. There are many guests during the New Year. I noted the needs when booking, and the hotel can meet them. The check-in procedure is very fast. Surroundings: There are many good restaurants around the hotel, most of which are within 2 kilometers. There are many options for eating Zhenjiang pot cover noodles, morning tea, puffer fish, Huaiyang cuisine, etc.
- Zuanshiniuniu
The hotel is just across the road from the river. We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights and were upgraded to river view rooms. We could see the Yangtze River, with a wide view and beautiful scenery. The hotel lobby is bright, the rooms are well-equipped, clean and tidy. The breakfast is very rich, with many Chinese and Western food options, and many local specialties. There is also a night bed making service or milk snacks at night. The customer service attendant Zhou Yanling saw that we were with the elderly and gave us more milk snacks, which was very heartwarming. The hotel is in an excellent location. You can walk to Beigushan Mountain, and it is basically a ten-minute drive to Jiaoshan Mountain, Jinshan Mountain and Xijindu. I recommend that everyone must come to Zhenjiang to experience the service of a five-star hotel.

It's a very nice villa, but I don't know if it's because it's just weekends. There are very few reservations in the villa area. It seems very quiet and not as lively as the main building area. There are many choices for breakfast, which can cater to most people's choices. The scenery is beautiful, and the receptionists at the front desk are also friendly. Bicycles and electric vehicles can be used as long as you pay a deposit. During the time I was there, there were only a few small animals to feed at Happy Farm, and the rest of the areas and activities were not open. The disadvantage is that there are not many parking spaces, and after the shuttle bus was delivered to the villa, I still wanted to pick him up for breakfast. I couldn't contact the hotel without the main desk number. I sent a message to the dedicated butler and there was no reply. I still drove there by myself.

Holiday with children to play, the resort hotel next to the reservoir, the environment is beautiful, very quiet, but the sound insulation of the room is not very good, the facilities are a bit old, the TV is connected to the Internet, the bedside plug-in board is unreasonable, the mobile phone charging can be placed on the ground or on the bed, there is no lighting in the parking lot at night, The water temperature of the pool is low, the lights are not turned on during the day, the dressing room is not fully turned on, there are many varieties of breakfast, but it cannot be said to be delicious, there is a coffee machine, the bread is not the same day, these are flaws. The good thing is that there are some facilities and services, and there are quite a lot of activities for children to play. Maybe there are many people on the holiday and they are not meticulous enough, but this price should be done by adding people to work overtime!

This was one of the worse stays, and definitely not up to five-star standards. Hardware: The room is very small, there is very little furniture in the room, there is no refrigerator, no bathtub, the curtains are not electric, there are few light switches and their positions are inexplicable, there is no main sleep switch, the night light can never be turned off and turns on when turning over in bed. The bathroom layout is really average. Facilities: There are no self-service vending machines, the supermarket is closed at night, there is no underground parking lot, and the parking lot is not monitored. Buffet: There are very few types, the Western pastry is not fresh, the Chinese dim sum is not good, the vegetables taste okay, the coffee machine is either out of beans or out of water, the orange juice is the Huiyuan type that is not freshly squeezed and is always empty. Service: I couldn't find a place to buy water at night, so the front desk offered to open a supermarket nearby. Therefore, the service is probably the only highlight. Environment: The surrounding scenery is pretty good, and you can hear frogs chirping at night.
- Qiuzhukang
The hotel is at least a four-star level. The facilities are very new. The bathrooms and rooms are very clean. The beds are of moderate hardness and the quilt is not thick. Looking out from the window, the water and sky are the same color, a beautiful scenery. Shiyezhou Island is getting better and better, with leisure, tourism and rural life. The restaurant above the supermarket on the small street is delicious and the dishes are exquisite.

A high-end hotel with convenient parking and good service attitude, especially the room lady, who was very warm and thoughtful. I forgot to ask her name and couldn't specifically praise her, which was a pity. The facilities were generally satisfactory, but there were some shortcomings. After all, it is an old hotel and needs to be improved. In addition, it is recommended to add local travel guide content in the lobby

I went to Zhenjiang to watch Xue Zhiqian's concert and chose this hotel closest to the stadium, which exceeded my expectations. The hotel is in a good location, very close to the train station and the stadium, with a good environment. The front desk staff also upgraded my room for free. The room was large, clean and tidy, and they also gave me fruit. The experience was very good.

The hotel's location is excellent, and the front desk staff were great. The room was quite spacious and very clean. It's definitely an older hotel, and the decor is a bit dated. The breakfast spread was extensive; I was pleasantly surprised to find Tengchong Xidoufen, which was absolutely delicious and perfectly to my liking. There was a huge selection of Western pastries, especially bread, making it feel more like a Western-style breakfast. The only drawbacks were that showering required standing in the bathtub, the hair dryer was wall-mounted and couldn't be removed, and the bathroom exhaust fan was noisy all night with no way to turn it off.

This stay was quite a bit of trouble for the room attendants, all because one child was celebrating a birthday, but we actually had two children. They went above and beyond to decorate both beds for us, and it was absolutely beautiful! What's more, each bed was decorated differently, so each child got something they loved. They even prepared a child's toilet seat and kid-friendly amenities for us in advance. The service was incredibly thoughtful, and they never made us feel like a bother. We'll definitely be back for next year's birthday celebration and will certainly recommend this place to our friends. The service truly was excellent!

Born in 1999, I've always had a special affinity for turn-of-the-millennium architecture. These grand, classic structures, embodying bold visions of the future, also exude a 'dreamcore'-like surreal atmosphere that perfectly aligned with all my childhood aspirations for big cities. The Kunming Grand Park Hotel also opened its doors in 1999. While its facilities might show the passage of time, it still retains an old-world elegance and style. I particularly enjoyed the slow-moving, retro-decorated elevator; each ride felt like a brief journey through time. Walking through the corridors, it was as if time had gently receded, transporting me back to the atmosphere of the early 2000s. I often found myself standing by the window, gazing out at the city's evolving skyline in the distance. I couldn't help but wonder: What would the person who stayed in this very room twenty years ago have been like? Did they also stand by this same window, gazing at the sky and street views of their time, filled with anticipation or uncertainty about the future? It felt as if a thin membrane of time separated us, invisible to each other, yet sharing the exact same view in that moment. I loved it here so much; it felt like opening a window to another time. Yet, as night fell, the clearer that atmosphere from the past became, the more it evoked a gentle melancholy—like a grand, yet now untouchable, old dream. And precisely for this reason, I know I will certainly return.

After reading numerous reviews, I felt the hotel's location was great and the breakfast was good, suggesting that as an established five-star property, it should be decent. However, many negative reviews mentioned outdated facilities, which made me quite apprehensive upon arrival. My check-in experience wasn't great. We arrived a little after 1 PM, but our room wasn't ready yet, still being cleaned. We were asked to store our luggage and return later to check in after we had gone out. After we went out for lunch, it was around 2:30 PM and the room still wasn't ready. The elderly and children in our group were quite tired. They managed to sort it out within ten minutes after that, but then we had issues with the room key cards. I was initially quite disappointed, but once we got to the room, I found the facilities weren't as dated as some reviews suggested. The room felt quite spacious, and the amenities were decent – much better than I had anticipated. The balcony offered a direct view of Nanqiang Street Night Market, which was bustling with food stalls, and it was also very close to the old town. Later, a staff member helped deliver our luggage to the room with a very good attitude. They explained that during peak season, with many tourists, service might not always be perfect, and I decided to be understanding about it. The service for the remaining two days of our stay was excellent. The breakfast was indeed impressive. There was a rich selection of hot and cold dishes, including local Yunnan specialties like freshly prepared rice noodles. They also had a good array of Western-style simple meals, delicious porridge, and a wide variety of salads. A special mention goes to their 'flower cakes' (鲜花饼); they were clearly freshly baked and absolutely far superior to any we found outside. We even bought four boxes to take home. The complimentary water provided was local mineral water, which was surprisingly pleasant. Overall, I'd say the value for money was good, and my entire family was very satisfied with our stay.

Staying at the Sofitel's 270-degree Dianchi Lake view room, looking out at the lake nestled behind the city's towering buildings, one can't help but feel a sense of 'the sea within my heart' amidst the bustling metropolis. This is my second time staying at this five-star hotel with a strong French flair in Kunming, and also my second time experiencing their elegant, 'home away from home' hospitality and service. It truly fills me with warmth, gratitude, and respect. At the hotel, the most exciting part of my day is heading up to the 49th floor for a lavish breakfast with both Chinese and Western options. While enjoying the meal, I gaze down at Kunming's urban rhythm as a new day begins, and instantly feel a surge of new energy and vitality. Whether for business or leisure, after returning to the hotel in the evening, I can head to the fifth floor for a swim (the water temperature is wonderfully pleasant), sauna, or steam bath, for an active rest and relaxation session. The Sofitel's spacious indoor pool is truly exceptional among five-star hotels. With the pool lighting, swimming feels especially easy and enjoyable. With its abundant amenities, delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner, leisure and entertainment options, sports and fitness facilities, and views of Dianchi Lake and the Western Hills, this hotel is a place where you can quietly spend an entire day, offering an ideal environment for solitude and reflection. Kunming is a city worth visiting again and again throughout the year, and the Sofitel Kunming is also a hotel I'm more than happy to return to. See you next time!

The hotel environment is quite good; the lobby is grand and impressive. The front desk staff were professional and welcoming, their smiling service deserves praise. However, there was a bit of a wait for the bellhop to help with luggage to the room after check-in, perhaps understandable given it was late at night. The breakfast was average, nothing spectacular, though there was a decent variety. The rice noodles, in particular, weren't anything special. I really appreciated the detail that the front desk called to ask if I needed room cleaning while I was out, since I hadn't specifically requested it with housekeeping or the front desk. The room size was just right, not too big, not too small. It's directly opposite the Twin Towers and very close to Wanda Plaza. Other attractions are also reasonably accessible, and taxis are easy to get. Check-out was quick, and the bellhop was very proactive in helping with luggage to the car when I left, which definitely increased my positive impression of the hotel. For an older hotel, it's quite well-maintained overall. I would suggest upgrading the hair dryers. All in all, it was a good stay, and I recommend it!

The hotel's location is excellent. Our family of five, across three generations, stayed here during the Mid-Autumn Festival and received a warm greeting from the hotel, complete with mooncakes as a welcome gift. It really made us feel like we could celebrate the holiday even away from home! 😀 The hotel is a bit older, but the facilities are all complete and convenient. The breakfast was incredibly rich and offered a variety of Yunnan delicacies. We enjoyed roasted milk fan, 'xiaoguo liangfen' (small-pot cold noodles), cold fruit salads, and finally got to try the 'xi doufen' (thin pea jelly) I'd been craving for ages. My culinary journey was truly complete! 😄 We also explored the nearby Kunming Old Street and the farmer's market (just a three-minute walk). We happily headed home with freshly purchased 'erkuai' (rice cakes) and rice noodles! We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Kunming. ☺️

She stayed in touch with us throughout our trip, checking in to ensure we had everything we needed and offering thoughtful recommendations that really enhanced our experience. The hotel itself was beautifully maintained, with spacious and comfortable rooms, excellent facilities, and a calm atmosphere that made it easy to relax after exploring the city. The service across the board was attentive and professional, but Jeanee’s personal touch really made our stay feel extra special. The hot springs are an incredible feature! There were several to choose from with ranging temperatures! We would highly recommend HUALUXE Kunming to anyone visiting the area and look forward to returning on our next trip

Staying at the Zhenshiwoyun Boutique Hotel felt like stepping into an elegant garden hidden within the bustling city. The traditional courtyard architecture is cleverly blended with modern design, and the lush greenery in the central courtyard is vibrant and refreshing. As you walk along the skywalk, the scenery changes, creating a truly delightful experience. The room was clean and tidy, with warm, rustic wooden furniture and comfortable, soft bedding – attention to detail was evident everywhere. The hygiene was impressive; the floors were spotless, and the toiletries were comprehensive and of excellent quality. The service was particularly outstanding; the front desk staff were warm and attentive, proactively helping with luggage and thoughtfully recommending local attractions. The facilities were comprehensive and convenient. The sky garden on the third floor offered a spacious viewing terrace with panoramic city skyline views – it was a unique pleasure to sit there in the evening. The location is superb, within walking distance of popular shopping areas like Jinma Biji Archway and Nanping Street, surrounded by numerous dining options, making transportation very convenient. Despite being in a busy area, the hotel creates a tranquil 'hidden gem' atmosphere, an ideal sanctuary during a tiring journey. The only minor drawback was the noisy surrounding environment outside the hotel's main entrance, with a night market nearby. However, this is a minor flaw in an otherwise excellent overall experience. Highly recommended!

Came to Kunming with my 6 years old. We didn’t know the hotel is inside the mall so was a little lost. But staff were very kind to come out and fetch us to the hotel. They offered to carry my big heavy luggage up to the room. That’s giving the extra mile service. The room is very culturally designed, amenities are very sufficient and breakfast is healthy and local taste. Overall I’m very happy and pleased with their friendliness and very hospitable. The hotel is near 2 attractions where we managed to walk with baidu map help. You can check it out too. The hotel is also very near to Kunming railway station just 15-20mins cab down. 谢谢帅哥美女们的细心照顾和帮助。我们住的很愉快😁

I stayed at this 'industrial aesthetic' hotel in Kunming. They say Kunming is a haven for slow living, and at RAW Hotel, I truly found the answer. It doesn't feel like a typical hotel; it's more like an 'unfinished' aesthetic vessel. The cool concrete is subtly softened by the warmth of sunlight and brass accents. What truly captivated me was the small balcony always peeking with greenery, where I savored the leisure of the entire city of Kunming. It's cleverly tucked away in the city's most interesting area, with the artsy Culture Lane and the lively Wenlin Street right next door. A short stroll leads you to the edge of Green Lake. Sunlight pouring through the balcony's glass doors becomes the most artistic light master, painting ever-changing scenes on the concrete walls. At night, lying in the bathtub, I could catch glimpses of the stars. The attention to detail is so obsessive that even the bathtub is pure brass, elevating the sense of ritual. The little balcony, gently embraced by greenery, was a delightful surprise. Enjoying Yunnan coffee there in the morning and a breezy drink in the evening became the most luxurious moments of my trip. Breakfast can be delivered to your room, with the fragrant aroma of 'Xiaoguo Mixian' (small pot rice noodles) or the charm of a Western breakfast waking you up every morning. After nightfall, the lobby subtly transforms into a craft beer bar. A slight buzz paired with jazz music was the perfect end to the day. This trip taught me that RAW isn't about being unrefined; it's about returning to authenticity. It's about finding the most comfortable sense of belonging in the raw.

I was quite hesitant when booking a hotel, but I figured Howard Johnson would be a safe bet, and it certainly didn't let us down. The hotel isn't far from Dianchi Lake, and the surroundings are very pleasant and quiet. It's convenient to get around, whether by car or shared electric scooter. There are many hotels in the vicinity, including some more upscale options, but I think Howard Johnson offers pretty good value for money. Our room even came with a terrace, which was a lovely touch. The only slight downside was that some of the facilities felt a bit dated, but otherwise, everything else was great.
