Rosewood is the most magical resort, and my husband and I truly had one of the best nights of our life here! The beach is beautiful and feels like a private oasis, the food and restaurants are absolutely delicious, and the spa was incredible!! I surprised my husband for his 30th birthday with a private dinner, and it was a night we will cherish and remember forever. The entire room decor and set up was stunning, the food was absolutely divine, and we danced the night away - but truly the most special part was the entire Rosewood team- thank you so much Chef Luca, Kanokwan, Mew, Boouthong, Anne, and Nun. We are forever grateful for you all, and we will remember this night for the rest of our lives. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything.

Exceptional property with lots of attention to details and a noticeable focus on sustainability. The staff were impeccable and very attentive to our needs (known and unknown!). The food was outstanding including the Thai restaurant which had an amazing Thai village ambience. The pool was also lovely and never felt crowded. There are also ample water sports and excursion options. Simply amazing property and staff! Our butler Tokyo was exceptional.

We stayed at Trisara for three nights and I only have positive things to say! Our experience started as soon as we landed at Phuket Airport. As we booked directly with the hotel, we were provided with a complimentary personal concierge upon disembarkation from our aircraft. We were through the VIP immigration lane, with our bags collected by a porter and in the SUV to the hotel in less than ten minutes! Had we not benefited from this service it would have taken us nearly an hour just to clear immigration. This made an excellent start to our holiday and was a taste of things to come. Upon entering the grounds of the hotel we were immediately taken aback by the beautiful sweeping drive and the verdant green foliage and trees which hugged it. We arrived into reception where we were warmly greeted by the hotel manager. A cool welcome drink, made using flowers from the hotel property, was provided. Sensing we were tired after a long flight, and we had a baby with us, we were offered check-in at our villa. I knew at this point this hotel’s service would be exceptional. Exceptional service means being able, among other things, to read the cues of your guests. You don’t even have to ask; you just know what your guests want. One such example is when you arrive at a hotel after a long journey, we just want to get to the room and skip the verbose introduction and tour of the property. No doubt sensing this was the case after a long flight with a baby, we were taken straight to our villa, where check-in was promptly performed. Exceptional. Our villa was beautiful and well appointed. The sea view was nothing short of stunning. We had lots of space for storing all of our luggage. Amenities including a cot, steriliser, nappy bin, baby bath and other helpful items were provided for our baby. The minibar was well stocked. The bed was large and comfortable. The showers were nice and the bathtub was huge. I cannot fault the villa. It was heaven! Having a baby, we could enjoy the pool while he was sleeping inside the villa. This was an excellent amenity and something we didn’t realise we would appreciate as much as we did until this holiday! The villa was also very clean and housekeeping visited twice a day. We ate in the hotel’s Thai restaurant twice, for lunch and dinner. The food and service were exceptional on both occasions. There is a very good selection of wine, champagne and cocktails. Having recently been refurbished, the food and beverage areas were beautifully designed and comfortable. Which brings me onto breakfast, my favourite meal of the day. There was a wide selection of breakfast options, including pancakes, eggs made to order, cinnamon French toast, fruit, Asian food, and pastries. As someone who is gluten intolerant, I was very well taken care of: the hotel made me gluten free cinnamon French toast with mango, cream and fruit; and gluten free pancakes with strawberry. The gluten free bread was very nice and even my husband enjoyed eati

2nd time staying here and I was equally as impressed as my first visit. This hotel is expensive but you get what you pay for. Incredible rooms, amazing views and awesome service. The food was great and the beach and pool were excellent. Tons of staff and everyone is super friendly. One of the best hotels I’ve been to. Will return

It may be in need of renovation here and there, and some of its facilities may not be operational, but it’s very cozy, clean and beautiful with amazing beach and an epic cat that hangs around the reception and seems to be helping everyone with all its might. The rooms are very spacious, even bathrooms. The breakfast is simple, but you have everything you need: fried eggs, omelette, sausages, bacon, rice, noodles, fruits and juices. The restaurant itself overlooks the pool and the sea, which is breathtaking most of the time. Lunch in the hotel is rather good, but overpriced as expected, so most of the time you will eat on Nai Thon Beach which is only 15 minutes away by feet. There are at least 2-3 decent restaurants there - I’d personally recommend “95 Restaurant”. The pool here is not very deep, but quite lengthy, although I doubt you will spend much time in it with the seaside right next to it. This is by far the biggest advantage of the hotel - the private beach with cliffs on both ends. Compared to most Thai hotels it’s a very rare thing. It’s huge, clean, with lots of free space to move your beach beds anyway you want and with beautiful crystal clear sea. It’s not very still, but waves add lots of fun to it. Wi-Fi is strange and very frustrating: it was mostly absent in our room, appearing for mere seconds just to be gone the moment you try to use it, but very stable by the pool and even by the sea. I suppose it should be the other way round, oh well. There’s a mandatory deposit on check-in of 200 USD or 13000THB, which is a lot and quite an inconvenience, if cash is the only thing you have on you. I wish I knew about that beforehand, so I could take extra. The staff is very nice and attentive, always smiling and trying to help. I would definitely love to come back here.

So... Good bits first The beach. Undeniably gorgeous and pretty clean. Theres a few bits of plastic hanging around that I'd have expected them to take the time to clear up, but overall very nice. The sand is soft and white. Perfect for that amazing sunset picture. The facilities provided are comprehensive. Gym. Pool. Pool table. Canoes. Snorkeling body boards. Sun beds are quite plentiful (although somebody took ours from outside our beach bungalow, mid stay) Restaurant is pleasant, clean, and gives amazing sunset views! The staff are mostly lovely, and cannot help enough. Location is good as it is just 6 miles from the airport yet is peaceful with only the occasional airplane noise. The room air conditioning was really very good. There was copious hot water available. There are very few jet skis and they stay quite far off shore, so no bother really. But... Previous reports are correct.... The whole place is tired. It needs some serious investment to bring it up to standard as many areas needed attention. There is an open drain on the beach... Our room had an outdoor shower and an outdoor fountain of some sort... behind sliding doors that we daren't open for fear the doors would jam open and allow the visible horde of mosquitoes to join us. A major issue, that prevented us from using the huge and attractive main pool was the presence of live electric cable situated a few inches from the constantly running fountains at the side of the pool. There were 4 different live cables, in different locations. An accident waiting to happen, in my mind. The main pool was covered in black spots that resembled some kind of growth. But have not been removed. Our accommodation had its own mini pool, and this needed a really good clean as it too had growth in the tile grout (and where tiles had fallen off, and not replaced). The numerous palm trees were often heavily laden with coconuts. Directly over loungers and walkways. We awoke one morning to find a pretty huge coconut had fallen directly outside our apartment. It could have been a disaster. There is a little bit of a rip tide, but not enough to scare me out of the water. Just keep an eye on children. The food, while being mostly a good standard, was a complete rip off/expensive. I felt my Prawn dish used frozen prawns or that they were over cooked. Grab snacks, beers, water before you arrive. Grab a taxi to the local town and get great quality food for a third, even a quarter of the hotel costs. Worth the 3 minute trip and 100 Baht. A taxi is 100 Baht each way. I would not walk the 15 minutes because of heat, humidity and hills. I especially would not walk it at night, as there are stretches without any pavement or somewhere safe to walk. Taxis... if you use one, and you can get their number, that is a bonus. You can flag a taxi down if they are passing... BUT... we asked the hotel to organise an airport transfer. They did so with a smile and then added 200 Baht to the cost we k

The hotel's gym is great, and the hotel's essential oils are well-selected. It calms the mind and makes you feel refreshed when you smell it. The swimming pool is so big that the children can't get out of it every day. The hardware is well maintained. Breakfast also has options suitable for Chinese stomachs. The only inconvenience is that there is no private beach🏖

This is a lovely and very expensive hotel but our experience was spoiled by constant loud house music that began about lunchtime and continued till late at night. The music was at the beach area which was the main relaxing area where the bar restaurant and evening restaurants were. On Sunday afternoon we escaped to the activities area, but during the week there was noisy building work going on here. There was a lack of other areas to relax in. We complained about his matter several times to staff but no member of management contacted us over our complaints. The hotel is quite isolated and it’s not possible to go walking from the hotel.

We stayed at Anantara in January 24. We received a fabulous welcome and found the all staff to be outstandingly welcoming and helpful. The location is simply amazing, with beautiful views across a small tidal bay. We stayed in a great room overlooking the bay. The way the rooms are designed into the hillside provides a real sense of peace and solitude. The rooms are spacious and really well appointed. The facilities and food are excellent. This is a fabulous place for a quite, relaxing and fulfilling break.

This is one of the most beautiful Starbucks coffee shops I've ever seen. The atmosphere is very good. Anyone!!! who likes live show must come. Suitable for chilling Sip coffee and enjoy the nature and sea view atmosphere. Coffee, mellow taste, perfect fit, lovely staff, highly recommended, especially Aey , Orange 🍊, there are many types of desserts to choose from, delicious tastes and there is also live music to sit and listen to drink and enjoy.

This was my fourth trip to the Phuket area and I could not have been happier with my decision to stay at The Racha. The island, and the resort were beautiful, and the staff was extremely accommodating, reactive and pleasant. While the resort was lovely, the highlight of my stay was the diving. I conducted nine dives with The Racha’s dive center and my wife did four; we did the day diving trip to Racha Noi and that was fantastic. The instructors/dive masters were extremely professional, patient, and pleasant. I had one of the top (if not the top) overall diving experiences of my life. Will definitely look to return in the future.

First, regarding the location, given with this price I will rate it five. It provides shuttle bus service transit from the hotel to Patong beach and Big C, which I will say the travelling time is not long, with 10 minutes by taking the bus. Second, regarding the room, it is very spacious and clean, and the whole hotel as well. We love the size of the room and the facilities are also clean and well-equipped. However, what we dislike is the breakfast. The breakfast is tasteless and dirty. We all got stomachache after that. Flies can find everywhere in the restaurant. The staff in the restaurant is not helpful at all.

A nice modern clean hotel. I stayed here with my daughter and used it as a launch pad to the port where Phi Phi tours depart from. The good: Helpful check in, including for organising our tour. Clean and modern. Nice rooms, bathrooms and quiet central air. A top Chinese restaurant attached to the lobby. They had a street food popup rooftop restaurant. The views in the evening were stunning with bush on one side and nightlights on the other. Once you get over the 200 baht charge, the hotel taxi to the old town was very nice. A free shuttle I didn't use - only twice daily, and just to the Central mall. They had connecting rooms, which can be tricky to find. The bad: It's a bit far from things. There is no balcony at the room. The menu prices listed exclude tax and service.. a pet peeve. There was no facility to charge to the room. Paying by credit card in the restaurants they kept setting to the foreign card currency, via some third party with a poor conversion rate. It was a real struggle just to simply get a charge in Thai Baht. The pool is very small but has a nice view. The gym looked pretty good but I didn't use it. Would I stay there again? Yes for sure.

Was moved to this hotel when our pre-booked hotel canceled on us , I agreed on the principal that the same requests were met as the original booking , IE, kitchen separate bedroom private pool, However when it came to the booking although this hotel was double the price I originally paid none of the amenities were met. Trip.cim representative seemed to think providing a more expensive place to stay would compensate however not the case , everything in this hotel was 3-4 times the price of walking out to the local shops , Sure the pool was big clean and good , however we felt trapped and unable to enjoy this place as we are not millionaires who can pay £240 per night for the amenities we had booked having booked for 4 nights . So overall it may be a good hotel for those who want this but not for us therefore the review is irrelevant Did not want to stay in this area so busy , so loud and so expensive even going to local restraunts to make up for not being able to cook for ourselves was 3 times the price as not being in patong

Nice environment and friendly service. Breakfast with great variety. A bit old style but clean. Not far from Patong but taxi or tutu are charging B$400 each trip. Hotel free shuttle trip twice daily is too low the frequence. With the private beach, more water activities such as sailing, fishing and jet skiing are expected, but only snorkeling and expensive subcontracted scuba diving are available.

Checked in for a really quick stay, meeting a friend from the airport. Highlights: - Beautiful villa - Friendly staff - Location right on the beach, with restaurants, massage, convenience store & pharmacy all within easy reach of the hotel entrance - Close to the airport - Entrance to waterpark included - Buggies made getting around the property really easy Could be improved: - Had real trouble with the locks on our patio doors not easily locking/unlocking - Room photos showed a bath, but when we arrived there were 2 showers & no bath in our villa Overall: A lovely hotel with friendly & helpful staff in a good location. I’d stay here again. ☺️

But then bad start very good. We booked a normal room. Unfortunately, we were first brought into a room in which apparently a short time before was a water damage. It smelled insupportable muffy and many of the furniture were cool. I asked for another room and got it next to it. That was not really better, but it smells less bad. After a bad night at the smell and noise of the street we asked again for a new room and I proposed an upgrade. We could then eventually move to a quiet and renovated room. This room was very wonderful. I recommend therefore just booking a little better room. The location of the hotel is good. At foot you reach the old town and everything you needed. The style of the hotel is very beautiful. The staff friendly. Breakfast I would probably not book for it even in the night. It is not a buffet but a pre-order dish with two drinks that is brought to the room. The Thai dishes are good and rich. The American is made of a (!) untoasted dish toast. Last night we had a fire alarm in the middle of the night because a person smoked in her room. It quickly dissolved that it was nothing dangerous. However, it was not excused with a word. I found it very bad. In principle I would book it again but just a better and quiet room and without breakfast.

We were satisfied with our room in this hotel: - the room was clean and got cleaned every day - there's a fridge in the room and you get a small bottle of water every day - it's near the city center of Phuket Town (around 15 minutes on foot) but you don't hear the traffic in the center (there were some roosters next to the hotel, and they were pretty loud and active from around 5 am, but I guess this was something temporary because nobody else wrote about them :D) - you can climb the Khao Rang viewpoint before the peek tourist hours (it takes around 10-15 minutes to the top) There are no real negative parts to this room, but just in an fyi sort of way - we booked a room with a balcony and although the balcony was there, it's not really a sort of a place to sit in and relax, which we thought it would be (you enter it through a window, it's pretty small and tight). The other thing is that we needed transport to the Rassada Pier early one morning and the hotel has or can organize this transport - but the price we were told was pretty high (700 baht!), which is pretty strange considering that even the regular-taxi-mafia charged less than this. I wouldn't mind staying here again, but mainly since my boyfriend and I aren't drivers and couldn't rent a scooter, next time I would probably search for accommodation closer to the bus station because this would make it easier to travel to other parts of the island with public transport and avoid taxis as much as possible.

Lovely hotel. Everything you need for a trip to Patong. Friendly and helpful staff. The only negative would be to avoid using the hotel concierge to book taxis and trips. A trip that the hotel quoted for 3500bht I was able to get outside for half the price. And a taxi to the airport they quote 800bht but outside we found for as little as 500bht. The pool is very nice and the breakfast was OK, but maybe too focused on guests from India and the middle east as there was no beef or pork (bacon) for breakfast.

Do not stay! I don’t know how this hotel has got such good reviews. The only things on its side are the staff at the front desk and the cleaning staff. Rooms were very tidy and the design of the hotel is very nice. However, the road noise inside the room is atrocious. I have never in my life stayed somewhere as loud, the balcony lets on so much noise. The shower/bath is extremely odd, there’s a glass window from the bedroom that looks directly into the shower. The shower leaks out onto the bathroom floor no matter what you do to prevent it, so after every shower the bathroom is a wet room. Location isn’t very good compared to so many in Patong, it’s a 20 minute walk at the very least to the beach. It is hilarious what they call a gym as well, really not up to the standard of any other hotel I have stayed in Thailand that had a gym. I give the Marina Phuket Hotel 5/10, terrible sleep due to the noise, terrible bedroom design.

Prior to arriving at this hotel, we had stayed at some nice hotels in Vietnam & Cambodia, which in our view we’re getting better as our trip progressed. That wasn’t the case with the Beachfront hotel. First impressions were ok but we arrived late in the evening, and the receptionist must have been in a rush, as she rhymed off a lot of information in a matter of seconds. Our room, to be fair, wasn’t bad until we looked around. The first thing we noticed, was the toilet seat. It was a small size seat put on a large bowl!! We opted for the sea view room, but it wasn’t until the morning when we looked out the window, that we overlooked a field full of ****s and old tin buildings. Technically, we could see the sea, but really! We had to strain our neck to see it! Then came the beach! What beach? An area at the bottom of the hotel that is covered in sand and has sun beds. They have a bar there, so that saved the day, or did it? We quickly noticed that between the hours of 15:00 - 17:00 & 19:00 - 21:00 were happy hours, where they advertise 2 drinks for the price of 1. That made things better, until we noticed that all drinks on happy hour were nearly double the price. So, a bottle of Chang beer was normally 130 baht, but on happy hour, the same bottle was 250 baht!!!! Rip-off! If you happened to be one of the lucky ones to get the hotel transport to a beach area, some 15 minutes away, you’ve done well. The vehicle can only sit 8 persons, which means, most of the hotel wishing to go to the beach area, needs to order their own transport. Give credit where credits due, the breakfast and food in general is good. Staff in the restaurants are polite and helpful, but less can be said for the reception area. I found them slightly abrupt, ignorant and no patience. If you’re staying here for one or two nights, it’s ok, but anything more, I wouldn’t bother. The one thing that did come out of our trip here, was the menu. As much as the food is good, it was same old, same old, so we went out one night for something different. This lead us to a restaurant called Zen Eat, only about a 5 minute drive in a taxi, which should cost about 200 baht. A fabulous French fusion restaurant that was just amazing. You really have to try.

The reception is basic and run down. Initial thought embrace the jungle theme. The trek to our room was long with many steps, not the picturesque route imagined. We went through a very large run down wooden area, maybe a closed cafe. Initially the room looked perfect from the outside. When they opened the door the smell hit us, like a smoke den. So strong you could taste it. Honestly never been in a room anywhere with such a stench. Requested a move which happened promptly, not a problem. When we got to the next room the outside ashtray had been hidden under the table and the room sprayed with eucalyptus to mask the smoke. We requested to move hotels. Our agent couldn’t get us a move for two days which we agreed to. Hotel refunded agent no problem. The rooms have very dark furniture and are very dark. First night in the room I was bitten everywhere. Spent a month in Thailand and not a single bite. This was ridiculous When we met the agent in reception she commented on how many bites I had, yes from last night. The room was sprayed later that day. All our luggage ( waiting to move hotels) was moved. One bag shoved in a cupboard we didn’t know existed leading us to believe we had lost a bag. The whole experience was a nightmare. Breakfast was ok. Limited selection, cold fried eggs Coffee very good. We were shocked that this was the “rock” restaurant in the night. Thank goodness they didn’t respond to our two booking request months earlier for my hubby’s birthday, It really doesn’t deserve the hype. If you are disabled, have problems walking or children this isn’t the resort for you. Our first room had large pebbles on the floor all around the bath in the middle of the room. Not enough room to walk around them. The second room had a large shelf at the side of the bed, why? You needed to get in and out of the bed half way up to avoid knocking yourself. They did offer free evening meal at a local restaurant that they own. Food and service very good, only plus. We had come from a 5* hotel and this was supposed to be a 4.5* something very wrong with the rating system. Would never return. Hotel we moved to, same rating, fabulous! Booking again.

Had a really nice stay at the hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was well kept, clean with a nice modern design. It has all the standard amenities plus the room and bathroom is really large so that adds to the comfort. The balcony comes with stools and a mini table. The bed was surprisingly comfy and better than most hotels I've stayed at. The only drawback of the room is the air conditioning which I think is too cold and can't be adjusted, but that's not so bad in the hot climate. The location is top notch and within walking distance to the beach and nearby bars, restaurants and shopping mall. There will be a lot of night music and traffic noises nearby so I chose a room facing the pool / garden side and that already cancels out 95% of the noise. I especially enjoyed the rooftop pool and the buffet breakfast.
