I have expected a lot from this hotel but unfortunately I got disappointed here: Fist of all the check-in process needed about 20 minutes. The staff was very friendly and said I should take a seat first - only problem: there are just a few seats in the lobby. Many people had to stay and wait => the process was very slow which was very annoying to me and to other guests. This is the first five star hotel where I did not enter the gym. Reason: Very small gym and not much equipment. The gym and the pool are in the basement floor => the pool is very small too and the whole feeling in a basement floor is not convenient for me - I was here dissatisfied as well. The room was clean - as expected. The breakfast was disappointment too: the selection is good BUT the rice was hard, the pancakes inside still wet, the waffles too hard, baked stuff no taste at all. I went to another restaurant nearby fafterwards => the PRICE VALUE RATIO is NOT GOOD for the Ritz Hotel in Tianjin - I will not come back again. But I gave it a chance & the staff is really friendly...

Normally I am very satisfied with this hotel but this time the pool & the gym we’re closed - I just booked this hotel because of these facilities. If the hotel would show this information on the APP before, I wouldn’t have booked this stay here… I am disappointed this time. The room service also took about 25 minutes longer as expected & the “fresh” pineapple juice was definitely NOT fresh! - it was from a bottle & not as in the description. The watermelon juice was fresh & OK. The breakfast selection was also very limited this time - I ate something outside after this breakfast…

We stayed just one night and didn’t use any of the other amenities the hotel has to offer. This review is strictly about the room. The bed was large, plush, and very comfortable. The bathroom was clean, the tub was large, the water pressure was high, and the soap smelled incredible (kind of like bananas). The room itself was large, comfortable, and had three televisions! The hotel seems wall-maintained, the staff was friendly, and the location is very convenient. We didn’t have a view of the River, but the view we had was pleasant. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others coming into Tianjin.

This time I went to Tianjin National Aquarium and stayed at the Yujiabao Intercontinental Hotel located in Tianjin Binhai New Area. The hotel has first-class hardware facilities, rich breakfast varieties, and thoughtful and considerate software services. It is also very close to the aquarium. It should be It’s the best choice to go to the aquarium and have quality requirements for accommodation at the same time! Recommended!

The Shangri-La, Tianjin, is, and has always been our favorite Hotel to visit. This week was a special celebration for us, as we celebrated our 15th Wedding anniversary, as well as our 4th consecutive year in China. We relocated to another City / Province, about two years ago, and was unable to visit and enjoy our special Shangri-La. Prior to us moving from Tianjin, we used to celebrate all our special occasions and milestones, at this branch of Shangri-La. We would always spend our Christmas, New Years, and Chinese New Year's at Shangri-La. Now that we have returned to Heibei, we look forward to continuing this tradition. Things change over time, some familiar faces are no longer working there. However, the new team made us feel right at home again, and went out of their way to make our stay most memorable and special. As I mentioned to one of the team members, it's not the spectacular Lobby Lounge, nor the beautifully decorated features, that make the establishment, but rather the people. Without quality staff and superior service, no establishment can ever rely on reoccurring business. For as long as these values are in place, this Shangri-La can be certain of our patronage. All team members provided excellent service, from the bellhop, to the waitresses, from the front of house to the housekeeping and of course the management team. Special thanks to ”Francis”, the new General Manager, ”Danny”, the Food and Beverage Director, as well as ”Billy”, the ”Food and Beverage” Manager. This trio of Management, ensured that we received the best service possible. Lastly, we would like to thank ”Roger” whom assisted us with a Driver / Transportation, upon our early departure. No visit to Tianjin, would ever truly be complete, with visiting The Shangri-La. See you soon.

Disappointing. 1. Was greeted poorly upon arrival by front desk staff who not only spoke close to no English but had terrible attitudes. 2. We were initially ignored when we said we wanted to check in and were only attended to, albeit rather rudely, when we repeated ourselves. 3. It totally spoiled our first impression of The St. Regis as we expected at the very least, basic courtesy at check in from an establishment which brands itself as a ”luxury hotel” 4. The front desk staff's command of English was so poor that they told us check out time was at 8pm, only corrected after we clarified. The staff was also unable to confirm if payment was made, and we had to type it out on our phones to verify that payment will be deducted from a deposit. 5. None of the other usual information (eg. Wifi details, pool/gym opening hours was relayed to us). 6. Poor cleanliness at some areas: Additionally, plates at breakfast were dirty (brown liquid stains on them) and there was litter in the elevators. 7. Management really ought to invest in training the staff better. 8. On our part, we really would not recommend visitors to Tianjin to stay at The St. Regis. Your money would be better spent elsewhere.

hotel Service: Warm and considerate, responsive to all requests. Complimentary check-in gifts, welcome desserts and drinks, Facilities: The swimming pool and gym are excellent. You can use the sauna after fitness swimming; the restaurant on the first floor has a rich Chinese and Western breakfast, a full range of simple dinner dishes, and wine is provided. Environment: Clean and elegant, the lobby and restaurant are full of artistic atmosphere. Hygiene: The room has no peculiar smell, the quilt is as white as new, and the room is cleaned in a timely manner every day.

The service is particularly good, the courtesy is in place, the lobby is clean and bright, there is a parking space when you come to the hotel, the free underground parking lot here is too friendly, you don’t have to work hard to find a place to park by car, go to the beach in the afternoon to walk for 10 minutes to the Qinhai Park, the scenery is good. Just need to add a coat to go out. It was also a good experience to go to the restaurant the next day. In short, it was a great trip.

On June 3, I drove from Beijing to Tianjin Stadium to watch Zhou Chuanxiong's concert, so I booked this hotel not far from the stadium! The first time I stayed at the Conrad Hotel, I had high expectations, but the result was not satisfactory! The following are slots 1. Is the economic situation good now? There was a long queue at check-in, and the lady at the front desk upgraded the suite for free, which is great! The most exaggerated thing is that there is a queue for the breakfast buffet the next day. This is the first time I have encountered it! 2. The sign of the hotel's underground parking lot is extremely unclear and confusing, especially the exit sign. The parking lot is useless! 3. After watching the concert, I wanted to go back to the room to take a bath, but the piston of the bathtub was broken, and there was no way to repair it in the middle of the night, so I had to give up! There are only a few tissues in the tissue box in the bedroom and they are gone! 4. After checking out in the afternoon, I ordered pasta and pear juice in the lobby. I really waited for the flowers to wither, and it took almost 40 minutes to serve the meal. This time, the whole banquet was prepared! The waiter told me that the back kitchen didn't see the order at first! I'm drunk too! The checkout plus service fee will cost more than two hundred! I won't comment on the taste! Fortunately, it cost a little 150 to get a discount for the gold card. The key is that the experience is not good! 5. The room is really big, and the equipment and facilities are okay. I'm on the second floor and the scenery is fine! You can see Tianjin TV Tower just by going out! I really don't recommend it, this price should be set at a hotel beside the Haihe River where you can see the river view and night view, it is more worth it! sorry 🥹
