This hotel is located in the old town of Fes, in the alleys, in a thick gate, there is a unique display of its unique charm! Our experience at Marriott Fez was fantastic.Friends holiday with a group of seven adults. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was great . The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive to every detail, making sure we felt at home. It was one of our friends' birthday on the day of arrival and we had a fantastic birthday surprise from the manageress.
Thanks to the entire team at Janan Palace.
The Fes Marriott is a fantastic option with plenty to offer. The hotel features three excellent restaurants, each providing a distinct dining experience. The outdoor areas are impressive with a large swimming pool.
Beautiful hotel to spend a few days while visiting Fes.

The hotel has an elegant environment and the rooms are antique, noble and elegant. The service staff are very enthusiastic and greet each other when they meet. The garden at the back is great. It's nice to take a walk. You need to drive to Lanmen, and there is a parking lot at Lanmen, which is convenient.

The location was hard to find. Once found, the Riad is definitely a reminder of historical significance as a palace.
It has not been updated as far as bathroom and privacy in the room( voices carry from floor to floor).
The breakfast service was very good and the staff were very courteous, they spoke both French and English .

Hotel location is very good, the room is large, the age is very good, the bathroom is a bit in disrepair due to the old age, the service is not in place, breakfast is urged, the overall stay feels that this hotel is a bit expensive

Walking distance to the Medina (old town), the royal suite room are big enough with huge living room as common area, only issue is the drains were clogged on our first night of stay but they fixed it the next day. Be prepared to walk a lot of stairs, is kind of like a maze in the hotel.

The lobby is very big for a Medina Riad. The terrasse offers a great view. Room and everything else is very clean and looks renovated. - a huge disadvantage is the location of the hotel. It is surrounded on all sides by highways. If you get a room with windows facing the street, then the noise and smell from cars and motorcycles until late at night and at dawn will not let you get a good rest. Keep this in mind when booking;
+ the courtyard is very beautiful and protected from all sides by the hotel building. If the room windows overlook this courtyard, then you will not hear the noise from cars and motorcycles;
- the hotel is very far from the main attractions of the city and is suitable only for travelers by car;
+ the hotel has an internal free and excellent parking, plenty of spaces;
- there are few dishes to choose from for breakfast, one type of porridge, stewed rice and vegetables;
- the coffee from the coffee machine tastes very bad and bitter, it is impossible to drink;

The 14th century house, the building itself is very beautiful and amazing. Breakfast is on the top of the building, the scenery is great, and you can see a large area of medina. The room facilities are also good, basically have everything they should. But the old house also has problems. The soundproofing is too poor. There is a room on the second floor that can be heard up and down by the elevator, and the noise in the aisle will be loud. It was already evening on the day of arrival, and when I entered the house, I rushed into the smell of disinfectant water. The biggest breakdown is that there are 4 power jumps in 2 nights. This kind of thing happens in such a house is really scary. When the staff said that this had never happened before, it made people feel even more terrifying. The traffic is fairly convenient, you can park nearby, and you don’t have to drag your luggage for too long. But this location is actually quite far away from the regular old city activity area, and the shortcuts in the old city don't dare to go at night. We wanted to take a taxi on the side of the road at about four or five o'clock. It was difficult to take a taxi. It seemed that the taxis were full of people. Leaving in the morning, I had to take a taxi to the CTM station. Since it is difficult to call a petit taxi at this location during the day, I asked the front desk to help book a private car. It takes about ten minutes and 100dhr. If you know you have been killed, you can only use this method.
The girl at the front desk is very dedicated and feels like she is sitting there day and night. If you have any questions, just ask her, but it makes people feel that pushing dinner and spa is a bit too much, but I don’t say anything if I refuse.
