"The service here is not very great. No one would help u with the luggage. Also, the room is not clean enough, there was some dirt on the telephone inside the room. Also, there was dust on the table. We have breakfast in the hotel and i told the waitress that I wanted to have window seat, which I saw it was empty. But the waitress said no and she said someone is sitting there. But during our breakfast time which last for 1 hour, No one was there . I felt so bad and i wonder if it was kind of racism because I saw some white people can choose their seat but I don't have this chance. The service attitude needs to be improved, the room is not clean, there are food residues on the phone, and food traces on the countertop. At breakfast, I saw other people can pick their favorite location, so I told the white waiter that I wanted to sit at the window Nearby, but the waiter said no, he said that someone was sitting there, but no one was sitting on the female side for 1 hour during breakfast. Is this racial discrimination? I think so because the white waiter has a very different attitude towards me, and his face is particularly bad, which makes me very uncomfortable. I don't think this is the service attitude that the Intercontinental Hotel should have."
"For London, the most expensive city in the world, I would rather choose a hotel that is a little farther from the city centre but has higher environmental facilities. What's more, this intercontinental distance is only five stops on the london bridge, and it takes ten minutes. It is only twenty minutes from Westminster Abbey. The children added a bed for free and confiscated meals. Just eating a three-day buffet breakfast is also tired. There are many shops and restaurants next to the O2 Stadium. The fly in the ointment is that the bed is a bit soft, and the swimming pool is only slightly open to children. It has been a few days since the school started, and the children are still reluctant to go to London."
"Hotel was excellent as always and they now have a shuttle from the reception to Greenwich north underground which is very handy when it’s raining. The only downside was the service in the sky bar which continues to be patchy. "

"The breakfast is quite rich, the quality is ok, it is the same every day, if you live for a long time, it may be boring. When I live, I communicate with the hotel and there will be a plus sofa bed available for free. The door is Dlr and the train, it is very convenient, but it will be stopped when it catches the festival. Be careful, I am surrounded by the house in Christmas. The overall feeling is still very good. Ctrip is also very responsible. I contacted it many times in the early stage. ,well"
"Close to the subway station, very close to the attractions, the room is large and hygienic, quite like it. It’s a little bit to go to the city center, you have to go to the London Bridge and then transfer."
"Breakfast can choose whether or not, I suggest you go to the local British to eat."

"Very good experience"
"We had booked 2 flats for an event at the 02 in July 2020. The event got cancelled & 02 agreed to accommodate us for the new date February 2021. However, the country is in lockdown & they could not honour our booking. We asked to reschule the booking to October 2021 & was told they would give us 50% credit & we had to use it within 6 months. So basically we were expected to pay half again even though they could not honour our booking as they aren't open at this time. Their explanation is that it was a no cancellation booking. We agree it was but it wasn't like we cancelled it & it was booked before the pandemic so not like we knew this was a possibility. Shocking customer service & looking at the other reviews think we have had a lucky escape. Needless to say we will not be giving them 50% more money as they are not to be trusted."
"Worst company i have encountered in a very long time. We paid our £1000 deposit via Bank Transfer and paid for a 7 day stay in which they wouldn't pick up their phone for us to check in on the day we paid for. The next day we got through and we said we wanted a refund and they refused. There excuse? You didn't call to check in. The cheek. We saw the reviews and chose to put faith in them but NEVER AGAIN. If your reading this do the right thing. Terrible company and will most definitely look to take this further. CROOOKS"

"Hotel location is good, there is a bus stop. It is also very convenient to buy an English breakfast on the opposite side. The room has simple kitchen equipment to make some food for yourself, but the place is small and not suitable for making big dishes. Room facilities are average, the bed is still comfortable, cleaned once in seven days."

"Looking for somewhere to stay at short notice having come to London for a final visit with our terminally ill elderly uncle, someone suggested staying at The Pilot. Big mistake! Signing in for the room was rather convoluted at an unmanned station in the bar after which we trod a sticky staircase to our room. The walls appeared not to have been decorated for many years - shabby, devoid of chic! In the comparatively small bedroom itself, the carpet was significantly stained likewise the chair - see images. The window blind had been broken seemingly some time ago rendering it only partially operable whilst by far the weirdest element was the positioning of the toilet flush button which couldn't be used without moving the seat cover out of the way!. Never seen one like it before! Looks to be a great hygiene risk really. Add in Rawlplugs on the shower wall with nothing attached and there is a distinct feeling of a place having had better days. However, the bed was fine and the breakfast choices and food standard, served by a friendly Scandinavian guy, were pretty good. It is difficult to escape the conclusion that The Pilot is aimed squarely at O2 concert goers who may have had a few drinks and are just looking for somewhere to crash without being too discerning. The price of almost £300 for two nights we felt to be extortionate for the standard of room furnishing"
"We stayed the night of a show at the O2 arena. Found a free parking space without a problem right outside. Check in was smooth, stayed in room 1, many quirks and original feature in the room and around the hotel. Sunday roast was really good, with decent thick gravy, everything perfectly cooked. We slept well, maybe a larger bed would've been good. Temperature easily controlled either by the AC and/or radiator. Lovely modern bathroom with a powerful shower. Breakfast was included on our rate, including a cereal, granola with fruit and yoghurt, followed by a hot option, again perfectly cooked with good quailty ingredients. "
"Great food and drinks served by the lovely Chloe. Would recommend this pub especially if like us you are going to the O2. Food is excellent - fair amount of choice. Chloe was especially welcoming and helpful and also Harry - would come back just for their excellent service ❤️❤️"

"The hotel room is very large, the design must be beautiful, and the breakfast is also very delicious. It's a typical American breakfast. Beautiful surroundings of the hotel"
"Breakfast is very good. The chef orders it now: omelet, shredded cheese, vegetables, mushrooms, etc. It's great. Other kinds of bread, fresh juice coffee tea. Meat has sausages, bacon. Peach apple, cantaloupe, pineapple and other fruits, a kind of Danone fruit yoghurt. All in all, including early value"
"Five or six minutes walk from the DLR to the hotel. There is also a tesco supermarket on the way. The hotel has a Chinese lady at the front desk, which is very convenient for communication. I am not so nervous when I first arrived. The hotel is clean and the waiters will be one day a day Cleaning."

I came for a long weekend as I was running the London Marathon. This hostel is very well located for the start of the marathon and it's easy to get on and off the train at Greenwich. The hostel was VERY clean - one of the cleanest I've been to in a long time. The showers and bathroom were great and there was often someone mopping the floors. The bed was SUPER CHEAP which was great. The bed was not very comfortable at all. The pillow was very thin. However, the main negative of this hostel is how loud it is. I have often stayed in hostels that have a bar and generally I find you can't really hear it. Here, however, was thumping until 3am - not the best preparation for a marathon. People in the street, and smoking outside the pub, were screaming and shouting all night. Our bedroom door didn't unlock either - there were 8 in our room and apparently there was an error with the lock so we had to leave the door open all of the time - not the most secure move. The staff seemed 'shocked' when I mentioned this, but equally they also gave me the impression that this key malfunction wasn't new. I don't know how hard it is to replace a key, but if someone shut the door we all had to keep getting out of bed to let another person in. I also found the staff rather unhelpful on the whole - I mean there were some who more more helpful than others (one older girl in particular), but not many really went above and beyond to help out. I checked in at about 11pm and could barely hear the two girls on the desk as the music was so loud. I found it a ridiculous place for a check in desk, to be honest. The girl on check in came across as though she really didn't care. I don't know whether she was new, really busy or just couldn't be bothered to help. I asked if they had lockers in the room and she told me I'd have to pay for one downstairs... In fact my room did have lockers... I paid £4.50 for a locker downstairs, which on the scale of things isn't a lot, but being given the right information would have been helpful. The next morning I tried to get out of the bar door the guy told me I had to use the back entrance. When I asked him where it was he was shocked as I "should have been told this when I checked in". I told him it had been busy the night before and that the girl probably forgot. He then started moaning about her and how she "never tells people the right information". Sorry, but moaning about colleagues isn't the way to solve things like this... If she 'always' does this then either tell the manager or sort it yourself. I'd stay here again if I was coming for a party weekend, but probably not for a general sight seeing trip or definitely not for the marathon.

We stayed over the jubilee bank holidays for two nights recently Booked 2 rooms, one for teens, one for adults. Staff were very friendly and efficient which is where this hotels excels. Unfortunately the rooms were rather dreary and depressing in comparison to other PIs we have stayed in. The restaurant was quiet at night so as we prefer a bit of atmosphere walked down to Bills in the town in the first night and had a lovely meal there. The first night I was woken by a guest shouting to be let into the room nearby with a Chinese takeaway in hand which absolutely stunk the whole floor out at 2am and then proceeded to smoke **** in their room which also stunk the corridors out Nice Breakfast was awesome next morning and staff were really efficient in getting more food out when it had run out We ate at the local pizza express which was good the second night and was yet again woken at 5am by same guest banging on the door to his room to be let in, another guest opened his door and told him to be quiet and then a huge row erupted. I went to phone security and realised there are no phones on the room and no way to get help. By the time I managed to find the hotel no it had calmed down but it made me really uneasy There were things like loose toilet seat and cobwebs all over our ceiling although my kids Ron seemed to fair slightly better Maybe I’ll book more central London next time!

Travelled to London from Leicester to bring my disabled Mother to see Queen at London 02 - A bucket list item. Taxi only £20 from the hotel, and buses available but not suitable for Mum - so would stay again for 02 visits. But the staff were amazing - nothing was too much trouble, even when the garage/shops were closed and a diabetic needed some bread & butter and a glass of milk at midnight. Really grateful for a warm welcome, considerate and COMPASSIONATE staff beyond just "It is my job to be nice to you." Would stay there again in a heartbeat. The accessible room (120) was good for Mum, apart from a noisy guest above - but can't be helped! Our room (107) just down the corridor was great, clean, comfy bed, black-out curtains very effective and noise-reducing double window glazing meant the main road noise did not bother us at all. Will definitely use this hotel again for visits to London, especially to stay for The 02.
