I cannot recommend booking with Ho'olei enough. We had four adults (two married couples) and one infant and the experience was fantastic. First off, the Ho'olei team was extremely communicative weeks before our trip even started. We had texts and emails with the concierge regularly As a parent of an infant, the included high chair, crib, and baby proofing of the unit was extremely helpful. It was all set up when we arrived. Additionally, as we had a full kitchen and grill, they have a grocery service that will pick up groceries before you get there. We arrived at 2AM our time (8PM Hawaii time) and all of our groceries were put away in the fridge and on the counter ready for us to use. It was a very nice thing after 14+ hours of travel. Check in was very smooth with clear instructions of how to use the property. We had a Deluxe Ocean View which meant we were in the last row. The views of the ocean were incredible with multiple whale sightings per day. The only downfall of this is that the walk down to the pool or the hotel was a little longer. However, if you do want to go to the hotel, free valet was included in our stay which was a huge bonus. Additionally, when you don't want to drive, there is a daily shuttle service you just text to get picked up that runs until 8PM (however the valets take over after 8PM) Our concierge helped us book 99% of our activities. We also had a reservation as Mama's fish house, which you have to book months in advance. At the last minute we had another guest wanting to join us for dinner and the concierge was able to contact the restaurant and add the additional guest. This was a fantastic trip and if you have any questions I am more than happy to answer it!!

Breakfast is ok, the choice is relatively small; suitable for children, the front is the beach; the hotel is in a good location, the design is also very luxurious; there is valet parking.

The room design facilities are very similar to the domestic Samsung to four-star restaurant. The taste of the restaurant is also good. There is no entertainment. The standard white resort hotel is flipping around the swimming pool. From the morning to the evening, the pool will be used every once in a while. There is a service brother to send free ice cream. The standard check-in time for this hotel is 4:00 pm. Later, after learning about the local land price with the agent, I probably understand why the hotel is so expensive.

Decided to do a 1 night stay during my day off to get a feel for the hotel again before booking a longer stay later this year. Currently the hotel is undergoing its schedule renovation to refresh and modernize the rooms. The section I stayed at was not renovated yet but it also meant I didn’t hear or notice any sort of major construction going on, which was nice. Initially got an ocean view room with a King Bed. I arrived pretty early to the hotel, around 10am, which was way ahead of the scheduled check in of 4pm. The front desk worker did assist me by checking to see if any other rooms were available for early check in. I opted to take the same ocean view but with two queen beds only because I had an online video meeting to attend at 11am and needed the room asap. The front desk employee also informed me that they were doing a special discounted upgrade pricing for rooms and I inquired about a suite. He said a suite would be available in an hour and I could go and look inside if I wanted to take the room for the upgrade. After my meeting, I took a look at the suite which was on the top floor. Was happy with the view and extras, plus the price was decent for the upgrade so I switched from a single room to suite. Overall a nice 1 day getaway. Room was clean and spacious. Employees were helpful and friendly. Restaurants were good (have eaten there before). Hoping to stay again but for a longer period of time in a few months.

The hotel is located on the hill, below is the golf course and the beach. Compared to the four seasons that live below the beach, I think the sunset is more beautiful at the Wailea Hotel. In addition, it is very convenient to go to the beach to have a hotel Tesla. Because it is an adult hotel, it is strongly recommended that couples without children come here. The overall garden of the hotel is very beautiful and quiet. The overall service of the hotel is also very thoughtful. The front desk is warm and the hotel can be called golf. Car transfer, live here, no regrets

The resort, though currently undergoing construction, managed to provide a peaceful and rejuvenating escape, leaving us enamored with its charm. Sunset enthusiasts, like my son and I, were treated to an unparalleled spectacle each evening. The resort's prime location gifted us with mesmerizing sunset views, painting the skies with vibrant hues of orange and pink, creating an enchanting backdrop against the tranquil waters. Despite the ongoing construction, the tranquility of Maui Bay Villas was preserved. The staff went above and beyond to ensure minimal disturbance, and their amiable demeanor added a welcoming touch to our stay. Their friendliness and willingness to assist with any request greatly enhanced our overall experience. While the ambiance and scenery were exceptional, one aspect that fell a tad short was the limited dining options available on the property. Although the quality of food served was satisfactory, having a wider variety would have added more culinary delight to our stay. Exploring nearby eateries became part of our adventure, allowing us to savor the diverse flavors of Maui. In summary, Maui Bay Villas is a hidden gem offering stunning sunsets, a welcoming beach club, and a serene ambiance despite ongoing construction. The friendly staff contributed to a memorable stay, even though the dining choices on-site were somewhat limited. For those seeking tranquility amidst tropical beauty, this is an idyllic escape worth considering.

Beautiful property and location. Property feels up to date and offers lots of free activities for guests. Recommend getting an ocean view or oceanfront room. You have to sign up early for restaurant reservations, luau, off-property activities and rental cars. Even resort activities and lounge chairs require you grab the spots early. Also recommend the shopping and restaurants right across the street for cheaper options.

This was my first time to Maui. We loved the AC hotel. It is a smallish hotel. It has a beautiful infinity swimming pool and nice large spa. The patio area has a nice bar and they will serve you appetizers. The pool towels were always stocked. Many chairs and lounges with umbrellas. You can see the ocean from the pool but not the waves. The breakfast was very good. They had hot items that they made for you as well as a buffet of the cold items. Good coffee and many drinks to choose from. The last day they raised the all you can eat breakfast from $25 to $30. So that was a bummer. The room was very clean and minimalistic. We stayed on the garden side. Our adult son and wife were on the pool side and they said it was somewhat noisy. The pool closes at 9 pm. The view wasn’t that great of the ocean and it was an increased cost. The mattress was quite firm but not uncomfortable. It was about the firmest mattress that I have ever had in a hotel. I slept okay, but I would not say the mattress felt luxurious. The area the hotel is in is gorgeous. The ocean is fairly close. You may be able to walk but we drove. I met a woman who was a Maui native. She was having breakfast in the hotel . She was just there to have breakfast with a friend. She said that this hotel is a little gem. I agree and I would definitely stay there again. The Monkeypod restaurant is a short walk up the hill. The food was delicious. You would probably need a reservation.
