Company holiday party was held a couple of blocks away so location was perfect. We were checking in at the front desk (6:04 pm)and the Hotel Registration Clerk said that ”Happy Hour” had just ended (6:00 pm). She asked if we would like a glass of wine (part of Happy Hour). We said ”yes” and less than 5 minutes later we both had glasses of a quite good Pinot Noir (red). The same Registration Clerk also had the extra pillows i had requested delivered to the room shortly after we entered our room. The room was tastefully decorated in muted grey & red tones and the mini bar was fully stocked. There were soft jersey robes to lounge in. In addition to the robes the room contained a yoga mat, reusable water bottles, wine bottle opener & other assorted items for sale if you were interested. The room was extremely quiet which considering all of the construction going on in the area was welcomed. All in all I would give the Kimpton Sawyer Hotel 4.75/5 stars. The .25 deduction was due to the extra firm mattress on the bed. The mattress was so firm that it was not comfortable for side sleepers.

A relatively new hotel, a friend driving a car to drive to the hotel lobby will help you drive the car to the parking lot, and then give you a cardboard, you need to drive out and you can call the paper jam number in advance. Very convenient, just remember to pay for it

Advantages: Marriott's mid- to high-end hotels, close to Sutter fort park. Ten minutes walk, strategic location, next to a supermarket (five minutes walk. You can google map), English service throughout the hotel, warm service, standard buffet Western food It's quite satisfactory, there is a gym, the room size is ok, I have a triple room with my parents, there is a sofa bed, there is an open kitchenette, complete utensils, including a microwave refrigerator, you can cook by yourself Disadvantages: There are no slippers, no dental toiletries in the room, and during the Chinese holidays, Ctrip's house price has tripled. The actual front desk reservation is only $ 119, Xiaokeng (American Spring Festival). Fortunately, I stayed one night and one night. Then found this problem and booked it at the front desk, no use of agent

Stayed at this hotel while in Sacramento for a Conference (August). Two block from where Conference was located (Convention Center). Very convenient. Felt safe while walking back and forth in the area for the 7 days of the Conference. Location is near espresso bars, eateries. Beautiful park across the street also. Hotel lobby and rooms are very clean. Kitchen in the room, which was needed for my week long stay. Laundry room and clean gym. Pool was crowded but it was over 90 degrees so understandable. Breakfast included, oatmeal was great. Will be back next year, and will request to stay at this hotel again.

In addition to breakfast, sausages, eggs, waffles, buns, cereals, milk, coffee, and fruit, as well as gourmet food made on-site, good food! The most want to say is that here and the Hilton on the edge of the airport, not comparable, but the price is almost! If you rent a car, get together for 10 minutes. The suite is two TVs, but watching TV sleeps does not interfere with each other! The bridge outside the window is golden! There is a microwave in the refrigerator, but it is not big.

High-end Hilton Hotel, the free breakfast is the best I have ever eaten in the United States. It is very good. The location of the hotel is very close to the Sark Bridge. It is very, very close to the old town of Sark and across the road, and it is also very close to the Sark Parliament Building. It will definitely be the first choice next time. There is a charge for parking. The hotel restaurant is also very good!

I really like this westin, located by the river, docked a lot of boats, there is a seafood restaurant downstairs. The location is convenient, the service is justified, the front door is still warm, the room and the bathroom are not small, watching the sunset on the balcony at night, it feels great.

Great value and for Sac it’s the best. Right on River and staff very friendly and classy. I loved the gym. It’s got TRX and pool area has a jacuzzi. Nice fire pits at night and valet nice. It’s got this unique larger room with 2 queens. Great for our family of 4 that stayed.

Comfortable room. Friendly, helpful staff. Best location in Sacramento. Everything is walkable. Good government rate. This is an old, 1970s building that has not been renovated since construction. The windows are original material. They do not seal. The room is a yellowish beige. There might be only two electrical plugs in the entire room, but none by the bed. Doors are original wooden material. Air conditioning keeps the room cool but not without a racket. I spent two days here in June. I slept comfortably. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Had parking been free this would be a four-star review.

Hotel is located just 3 mins walk to Old Sacremento area. Extremely convenient. Also its just beside Macys! The laundry room is located inside the shower and rest room next to the pool, not the most ideal to do your laundry buy hey its Free!

The hotel breakfast will start at 8:30, because it is necessary to hurry, so if you don't eat, the meal coupon will be wasted. The hotel offers free coffee and tastes good. I was overcharged at the time of check-in. Fortunately, I found out in time that the money was returned and the front desk was too unprofessional.

I was in town for a conference at this hotel and decided to stay here for convenience. Front desk staff were, for the most part, delightful for the entire four nights I stayed. My room was spacious with a semi decent view and a mini terrace, though the door didn’t actually open more than a few inches, so one couldn’t avail of the terrace itself… that being said, it was nice to be able to get fresh air into the room! The TV in the room was huge and I am always grateful for a mini fridge, though I couldn’t get this one very cold. One thing that did leave a lot to be desired was the general cleanliness of my room, which I will give 3/5. The vacuuming was very poor (there were remnants of a previous guest’s food on the floor) and layers of heavy dust in the bathroom. It could definitely do with a deep clean! I also used the guest microwaves in the lobby on several occasions — both were filthy with splattered food (gross) and neither had a turntable. Another disappointment was one staff member (who was in the middle of training a new front desk member) — everyone was lovely except for her, when I asked the possibility of a late checkout on my final day. Her response was curt and quite rude: “I can’t tell you if you can or cannot get a late checkout. You have to understand our housekeeping needs and availability. You have to understand there are a lot of guests who will probably be asking the same thing…”. Coming from a customer service background myself, one should NEVER tell a guest what they “need to understand” — there are far better ways to explain this. She also never once said anything along the lines of “I’m sorry, this might not be possible” … it was just poor customer service, which was a shame. This aside, the hotel was very quiet and I slept well (and deeply) each night. Oh, and I got locked out of my room on the day I was checking out — it turns out the battery had died in my door lock, so the front desk staff had to call security, who then called maintenance. Thankfully, I didn’t have to wait too long and both security and maintenance were super fabulous and quick to fix the issue. PS If you do decide to stay here, I hope you get as much of a giggle out of the elevator constantly saying “going down” as I did! :) PPS Location was excellent!

We have an annual conference in Sacramento and have been using this hotel for several years. Last week was our first conference in a couple of years and it was so disappointing. Check in was very slow. About 30 people in line. They had 4 clerks and then 2 of them disappeared. So it took a very long time to check in. Rooms badly need updating. Carpets in the elevators and hallways have not been cleaned in many years and are very dirty. Trying to call the front desk or room service was ridiculous - no one answers the phone. Mattress and pillows were lumpy and smelled funny. For breakfast, the restaurant only offered the $25 buffet, not the other items on the menu. All in all, if I had a choice, I would never stay here again

Traumatizing experience do not stay Who likes to be woken up at 6:30 in the morning? How about being woken up by the sound of your door opening? We’ll that’s what happened to me on Oct 17. At 6:30am I am woken up by the sound of my hotel door opening. I sprint towards the door to slam it on the intruder and look through the peephole to watch the intruder scurry away with a cart of some sort. After calling the front desk, they said it was a “maintenance man.” What? Why? Also, why would the maintenance man run away down the hall? Though I was furious l, I was equally tired. Without a deadbolt, I resorted to pushing furniture against the door to feel safe. I felt like a kid practicing for what to do in a school shooting. Fast forward to 10:30am. At checkout, I explained that someone came in my room, unannounced at 6:30. All I was given was “the maintenance guy made a mistake and went in your room.” No empathy. No sorry. No anything. I will never stay at this place ever again. The experience was horrible. The staff lacked empathy and responsibility for their actions. Don’t stay here.

My husband & I recently stayed overnight to see KISS at the Aftershock Festival at Discovery Park. We were very pleased. The Hotel is clean, modern & bright. Hotel is next to the Freeway but we hardly noticed any noise. The complimentary breakfast was good, something for everyone, fresh fruit, toast, bagels, cereal, eggs, potatoes, sausage, make your own waffle station, juice & coffee. We felt very safe as it is near an industrial area and we noticed a few unhoused individuals nearby. The property is fenced & gated. You must scan your room key at the front door to enter the Hotel at night. They also have a security guard from 6pm-6am. There was a nice looking pool but we didn't get a chance to use it. The only downside was there's no food/restaurants nearby and they do charge for parking, $8.50/night, but that's not bad. They do offer snacks & beverages for purchase in the Lobby and there's always UberEats. Another Hotel is being built nextdoor, so maybe a few food places will be built in the future. We will definitely stay again. Farrah & Lorena at the front desk were awesome. The were very welcoming, friendly and answered all our questions regarding ordering an Uber, parking & breakfast hours.

This is the worst Marriott hotel I have ever stayed in. It is in a good location, not far from the airport and the California Capitol, but the service is extremely poor and the attitude is stubborn. The room had a dank, musty smell (a friend stayed in another room and his smelled the same), there were stains on the carpet and the desk legs, the towels had stains that looked like everything from makeup to neon paint, the pillowcases had makeup on them, the shower floor was peeling, the curtains were discolored, there were long black hairs in the bedsheets when I arrived, the inside of the Keurig was rusted. The pool area had no towels and the pool bathroom was locked and even after I went inside to let the front desk know this, it was another 10 minutes before someone came out to unlock the bathroom, but they did not have the right key, and we had to go inside and use a hallway bathroom. On my last morning, I called the front desk to have coffee cups and a spoon brought to my room, and was told room service would bring the cups but that i would need to come to the front desk for the spoon. The cups never arrived and an hour later, I checked out of the room. I have backpacked my way through Central America, staying in hostels, and this was my worst accommodation ever experienced.

It is 20 minutes walk from the center. The place is not the most scenic, literally over the head passes hyvey - a little tense noise at night. The motel is certainly not in the best state, but overall clean. And for its money is just a find for America! The truth is that because of this, there was a very fast contingent - some alcophriks and any non-reliable visitors. At the same time, a simple breakfast with a Swedish table was included for this money. What was on the menu: omlet, chicken sausages, Belgian waffles, yoghurt, two kinds of toasts and belongings to them, oven, coffee/tea/sok. There was a CFS nearby if you need to eat day or night. Parking is big and free. The manager is Russian-speaking.

The room had a strong smell that we had to crack the window and turn on the air for the smell to go away, the place is old, so for the price of $130 a night is ok right? Well.. So I booked this room using trip.com app and because of that the front desk girl required me to pay $250 as a security deposit.. if not I had to leave, so if you add it up, to stay a night at this place in a so so room, I had to charge $129+$250 security deposit +10 parking = so after $390 I could have a night of sleep. I just hope I can get my deposit back as soon as possible. They said 5 to 7 days. So just you know before you go!
