We spent six days here. This is our second visit. We love the quiet rural situation of the Quinte. Andre and his Mother are most hospitable people. Friendly and nothing too much trouble. Fantastic breakfast as much as you want to eat. Lovely swimming pool and pretty gardens. We visited Mafra, Sintra and various small rural villages in the region . Recommend Tabunas restaurant in Varezea but advise booking. Lovely beaches especially Magoito On a warm but stormy day, just us and the surfers. Car hire advisable as you are quite rural tho still in walking distance of Varezea but if you want to go out to rural restaurants or sightseeing it’s a must. If you want to visit Lisbon then there is a great train service from Sintra where you can park the car for free ( speak to Andre). We hope to be back again .

The hotel was a little more nice and a little disappointed, as you were sleeping in other Quinta in Portugal. We were disappointed by the reception: we had difficulty finding the place (no panel up on the road and a small panel in front of the entrance), we sounded at the portal, The hotel is located in the city centre, and then we are going to be two times a tour of the house before crossing a person. The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable. The PLUS : - it is at the countryside, so quiet, and not too far (compulsory car) to visit Sintra - beautiful terrace with unheated swimming pool - free freezer in the veranda: based on confidence, You take the drinks and pay in the box or leave - breakfast staff was very helpful MINUS: - frankly isolated, so 4-5km car before finding something to eat - comfortable bedroom but room and bathroom split, and Very wet: our handcuffs were steamed for 2 days - non-wallow breakfast: for a hotel room we would expect better ATTENTION if you visit the Sintra Palace, go read the TripAdvisor reviews and advice before, Because it's really blinded by world (the horror!) so it's better to organize.
