The breakfast variety is absolutely great. When you go out, you will see the famous cathedral. You can run along the river in the morning. It is also very convenient to walk to the pedestrian street, and walk to the train station for fifteen minutes.

We changed to this hotel at the last minute and I'm glad we did. The location is excellent (opposite the Green Vault museum - well worth a visit), and the buffet breakfast was very good - well-stocked, with lots of hot options. Best of all was the executive lounge which came with our business category room. The lounge had a great range of beer, sodas (we loved the rhubarb soda,) and cheese, bread, ham etc at 6pm, plus an excellent selection of coffees - it was a lovely place to hang out rather than head to a restaurant. Our room was large - as pointed out in several reviews, the sink area is 'open-plan' but the shower and loo are behind closed doors! Dresden was only a pit-stop for us on a long European trip but we were so glad we made the detour and to this hotel. (NB: the spa/sauna area in the basement is good but the sauna is 'textile free' - ie nude - which was a shock to these UK travellers!)

Wir hatten ein Superior Zimmer welches sehr geräumig und sauber war. Auch das Bad war äußerst sauber und großzügig geschnitten. Das Personal ist supernett und hilfsbereit. Besonders gefallen hat uns auch das umfangreiche Frühstücksbuffet, hier werden keine Wünsche offen gelassen! Im Restaurant wurden wir auch sehr nett bedient, das Essen war ebenfalls überwiegend gut. Die Lage ist natürlich abseits der Innenstadt jedoch schön direkt am Schlosspark gelegen.

In the 3 years since I last stayed here, the hotel has declined. I am a Marriott Gold member, My first room was right next to the elevator, and when I went downstairs and asked to be moved, I felt as though I was inconveniencing the desk clerk. They gave me a room one door further down. When I came home that evening, I had a leak in my ceiling that was creating a large puddle and continually dripping. I put a bunch of towels down and let them know. By the following evening, the leak had been fixed, thankfully. My room also had a large Jacuzzi tub with the shower above it, which was very difficult as you almost had to stand on the sloped part of the tub to be under the shower. It was also tricky getting in and out of the tub as it was very high. Perhaps the thing that I found the most disappointing was that the only choice for breakfast was to pay €35 for buffet. I asked if I could just get a cup of coffee and a roll and the answer was only if I paid €35. This seems silly. There was nothing horribly wrong with the hotel, but the overall stay was just unpleasant. Certainly not five star.

It is worthy of the Relais & Châteaux series hotel, the service is very friendly, much better than the Kempinski I have stayed in before. The only downside is that the breakfast variety is a bit simpler.

Very good hotel. The location is excellent and convenient, just beside the scenic Bruer platform, next to the Notre Dame Cathedral. The room is very spacious, the recliner in the room is very comfortable, and there are free drinks every day. The breakfast is also very rich, which is the most satisfying hotel during the trip to Germany.

Lovely hotel. Great staff. Check-in and checkout perfect. Rooms clean, good size, wifi perfect, very comfortable all round. Great feature is the convenience store in the lobby with a variety of snacks, wine, beer, etc. Excellent location at the edge of the historic centre. Good value for money. Would definitely stay here again.

This is an excellent boutique hotel which is well located and has reasonable rates for the quality of services provided. I stayed three nights in a Deluxe room which was modern, clean, and spacious, with plenty of lighting. I had a front facing room which was quiet in the evenings. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was large with a separate tub and shower, and an area near the sink to hang clothing. Water and soft drinks are complimentary, as are the coffee, tea, and light snacks in the lounge located on the ground floor. I looked forward to breakfast each morning, with the varied cold buffet and included hot menu items. Overall, the staff were friendly and professional. If I ever return to Dresden, I would stay here again.

I have been in Bülow for 5 years, every time I am in Dresden. Beside the clean and spacious rooms, there are the friendly people who work here, who give the eruption for me to stay here. Breakfast top, coffee and egg food is served at the table, you don't have to stand on coffee machines long, now the egg is cold... That's not what there is here. All is very personal, friendly. Bottle of water in the room, of course free, from time to time to a small welcome gift, a spacious box for clothes etc. The facilities / assumption here in the Baroque style, consistently implemented. Concluded: My recommendation in DD to come here, surely one of the best, if not the best hotel in this, now beautiful city at the Elbe.
