We had an amazing stay at Arimasansoh Goshobessho! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional, with a warm and friendly welcome. The hotel & rooms itself are incredibly comfy and cozy, with a warm, intimate atmosphere and a delightful wood scent that adds to its charm. The amenities were excellent, and every detail was thoughtfully prepared to ensure a relaxing experience. The breakfast was delicious and exceeded our expectations (very good French toast, and onion soup) such a great way to start the day! A special thank-you to the hotel staff for their kindness and efficiency in returning the Apple Watch we accidentally left behind—it was much appreciated! Highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and memorable getaway.

Not worth it. We spent 20,000 yen to book two rooms for 5 people. We had breakfast and dinner when we arrived, and paid an additional 160,000 yen when we settled. The room was big, but the floor was too high to be comfortable. The hot spring in the room was not open-air, but only in the bathtub. The public bath was very small, with only a small pool. The Kaiseki cuisine was average, and the breakfast was Western style.

Extremely bad service especially for a luxury hotel. Air-condition in room was hardly working, very suffocating for summer. Explained it to the night receptionist. Who immediately replied why could we bear with it on the first night. Sent a fellow service staff who stuck a temperature rod deep into the vent to show the air con was working fine. Couldn’t understand that there was no wind. On the check out day, asked the concierge on the ground floor to help book a bigger taxi in the morning as there were more people and bags. The person replied “yes, yes, yes”. Came back in late afternoon to confused looks.

Reviews From Real Travelers
All reviews are based on the room on the 32nd floor where I stayed and my own experience. Let me start with the main point. The hotel is too new. The room smells, smells, and smells, especially the walk-in closet! I wanted to try it, but I was taught a lesson by reality. If you bring your children or mind the smell of the decoration, come back at least 3-6 months later. Advantages: Nice night view. Soft slippers. New facilities. The walk-in closet is very large. The refrigerator is very good and has a full range of products. You can have anything you want to drink in the middle of the night. The coffee pot is from fellow, and the nuts in the room are delicious. The hotel TV projection is smooth. The shower facilities are clean. There is still room for improvement: The location is not easy to find. No taxi driver can quickly recognize the location. You have to check it on the roadside for a long time. It seems that because it is too new, the navigation on the taxi did not enter this address. The front desk pretended not to understand Chinese and said that he could not speak a bit of Chinese. After checking in, I suddenly saw his name tag and asked him in Chinese, ”Isn't your surname Chen?” He immediately made a 🤫 gesture to me, smiled awkwardly and whispered that the rules do not allow speaking Chinese. I asked him if he was *********, and he nodded vaguely. You can experience it yourself🤷. The welcome service is two bottles of mineral water and disposable towels. When the room fee is paid in advance, a deposit of 60,000 Japanese yen is collected. There is no service of sending upstairs and introducing the room. I don't know why this Four Seasons Hotel does not have such a basic service. I communicated with the hotel in advance that I would bring children and needed children's products in the room. After three communications, the hotel said that they would be prepared, but there were no children's products in the room. There was no welcome fruit, but two cupcakes with DIY frosting and marshmallows were given. Maybe they think this is children's products. I got a corner room on the 32nd floor. It may have just been renovated. The door smelled of renovation. The cloakroom smelled even worse because it was completely enclosed. There was a numbered sticky note on the door, which was not removed by the service staff until I checked out. The pillow was very uncomfortable. Remember to ask the room service for a harder pillow. The TV welcome addressed the guest without the last name. The night bed was better on the first day. In the following days, the pillow was not moved away or the quilt was tucked away, and the slippers were not taken out. Maybe this is the rule of this Four Seasons. The bathtub is square, not long, and the shower position is a bit strange. I feel that it is not very comfortable to use. I especially hope that the room manager can use the hair dryer himself. The sound is huge! And my hands are numb after drying my hair. The coffee pot is so good, the hair dryer can be improved. The texture of the towel is not good, it is very hard, the bathrobe is also wrinkled, and the belt I got one day has flying edges. They really don’t treat me as an outsider. The air conditioner is weird. You can't adjust it to heat or cool. The temperature is set by the guest and the air conditioner decides it by itself. When the air volume is turned off, it is cold below 20 degrees and hot above. I don't understand this. You can hear the sound of cars passing by in the room at night, and there is always a white noise. I don't know if it is the refrigerator or the toilet, buzzing. Oh yes, the pens in the room are broken. There are many other things that I won't go into. In short, this experience is not pleasant, and it has worn away the good impression that Four Seasons left on me before. Considering the room fee of 12,000 for three days, there are many other options. I may not patronize this brand for a long time.
- Mimihuaduo
Since it is new, taxi drivers may not know the location. It may be a bit far to walk from Osaka Station. If you take a taxi such as Uber, the taxi fare from Osaka Station will be around 1,000 yen including the reservation fee. The facilities were good, the staff was friendly, and check-in was possible before 11 AM. Please note that there is a 20,000 yen deposit per night. You can contact the hotel via chat with requests using the Four Seasons app. There is a pad in the room, so you can make requests as well. They seem to speak English well, and since it is a Japanese hotel, you can speak in Japanese. However, the housekeepers seem to be Chinese, so if you have something to say directly, you should speak in Chinese. The hotel is close to the Dojima Roll main branch, so it is within walking distance.

A perfect stay and a great value for money. I was very impressed with this hotel. From the room to the facilities, from the service to the transportation, I am very satisfied. The room was very spacious and bright, and the bedding was comfortable, allowing me to have a good rest. The hotel's facilities are also very complete, including a gym, swimming pool, etc., which allowed me to fully relax in my free time. In terms of service, the employees are enthusiastic and very professional, which makes me feel very friendly.

For USD475 a night is level of service is quite disappointing. We stayed 4 nights at the hotel with our 2.5 year old toddler. Pros The location is amazing, the train station is right below the hotel, 1 station to the Kids Plaza and easy access to other attractions. So many restaurants options within the building or walking distance. Everything is connected by footbridges, extremely troller friendly. Appreciate the water bottle refill tap at the lobby of the lift lobby and the choice of amenities. Cons Back to the service, English at check-in and operator is limited. The most disappointing is house-keeping. 1) they really only just make the bed each day and clear the bins, no tidying of the room, not even clearing the room service from the day before. Unlike other this level of hotels, housekeeper will do a light tidy up of counter areas. Not for our experience! 2) even we hung up all our towels so they can be reused but each day we find our towels are replaced. Same for the slippers. 3) limited breakfast room service only two ¥9000 sets, and no Japanese options, only western. Over the in-room dining menu is western focus and limited. 4) the bathroom is very open design so not recommended if you are sharing a room with a friend. If one is having a shower, if someone rings the door you won’t be able to open the door as there is no door or dividers. 5) they said mini bar is complimentary on the introduction sheet but turns out is only for the first night If they can provide better service or lower the price I will stay again purely for its location.

Location: Location is the biggest selling point for this price. It is basically located in the center of Umeda business district. It is not far from Daimaru Department Store, Hankyu, Yodobashi, Luca (1100), and Grand Front Osaka. You can walk to these shopping malls from Mikimoto on the first floor to the second floor and walk through the overpass, but it is too strenuous. If you really want to go shopping, go to Yodobashi for electrical appliances, go to Luca for local Japanese specialties, and go to Hankyu for luxury goods. It is enough. Please note that most stores close at 8 o'clock, and some will not accept customers at 7:45. Service: It's okay, no merits or demerits, I don't think it's very good, nor is it very bad. I didn't ask what staple food I wanted for breakfast on the last day, which was a bit disappointing. Hygiene: It's okay. Breakfast is still not accustomed to Chinese stomachs, especially this time I stayed for three nights, and only the first day was okay. Environment: It's okay Facilities: Three sets of toiletries are prepared, and the minibar can be used free of charge once. Overall, it's still a five-star rating. After all, there were too many people received during the Spring Festival, so any shortcomings can be forgiven.

We had a great stay at La Suite Kobe Harborland. Great Balcony views. No restaurants for breakfast but Room service breakfast delivery including every morning. Staff was very attentive as is standard in Japan. Rained on the day we left making cabs harder to get and staff pulled out a minivan and drove us to the Shin Kobe station to get our train on time. Enjoyed the restaurant and giant showers. Very close to harbor and short walk from Center street. Enjoyed our stay and great service.
- Guest User
The room is large and comfortable, with a beautiful sea view. The service is good and we can communicate in simple English. The location is also good, 10 minutes walk to Hara-teicho subway station. Kobe is not a big place and taxis are not expensive. Next to it is the Harbor Mall, you can walk straight out of the hotel lobby and walk down the stairs next to the swimming pool, it is very close

The Japanese-style room is very clean and tidy, and the view is also good. It is very pleasant to enjoy the mountain view while enjoying the breeze. The private hot spring is also great. I experienced rooms 1, 3 and 4, and I like room 3 the most. There are service staff who can speak Chinese, so there is no language barrier. There is also a special car to pick you up, so you don’t have to climb the mountain by yourself. Dinner and breakfast were booked at the hotel. Dinner was kaiseki cuisine, which was very special and filling. Breakfast was delivered to the room. It was a Japanese breakfast, which was quite suitable for the taste of people from Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai. I guess children don’t like it. The Arima Onsen town is very peaceful overall, suitable for emptying yourself and being a **.
- Xiaomeirenyuchipangtouyu
I personally met a customer service staff who speaks English very well in Japan. The room is very big. It has a living room, master bedroom, bathroom, toilet, and indoor and outdoor hot springs. There is also Arima Old Street nearby where you can go shopping. It is recommended to stay here.

Very expensive but God damn, they really do be hiring people that speak either English or Chinese together with Japanese! And oh my, there are just so so many staff that do! Whether that be front desk, or even housekeeping! The only ones that really don't are the ones in the restaurants or in Melissa (where they sell bread and other good food!) Or the mall downstairs! The dessert lounge weren't too friendly either but they all seem to be extensions of the hotel! Overall, great experience except for the fact that the rooms are indeed tiny and compact cause that's what we booked after all - but aside from that, all the amenities were great, toilet was big and movable in and you really have anything and everything you need already there! Only issue is maybe that some things here are pretty outdated though it's a 5 star hotel! But overall its truly worth the price though I don't reccomend staying all the time unless you wanna burn a hole in your pocket heh! But one great thing is that they are truly commendable in terms of holding events and catering to hundreds of guests for the really really big ballrooms. That's a huge plus.

Thank you very much to Ms. Mizuki, an employee of the hotel. My daughter lost her wallet as soon as she checked into the hotel. The next day, it rained heavily, and Ms. Mizuki accompanied us on a video tour to search for her wallet. The last Japanese man picked it up and took it to the police station, and she helped us retrieve it. We are really, really grateful for the hotel's service and facilities, which are also very new. This trip was in Osaka, and I felt that the hotel service was very good. I will still choose to stay at this hotel for my next trip. Thank you again

I’ve stayed here more times than I can remember. Just shows how much I like the IC. The hotel continues to deliver on service, cleanliness and location. With the opening of the Grand Green Osaka there are even more shops, restaurants and greenery around the hotel. It’s a big shame though that with the new office and hotels towers having come up, rooms facing the west, which in the past had the best views of the Umeda Sky Building and the Yodo River now has obstructed views.

5 minutes walk from nearest metro station, and next door is 7-11, very convenient! Room is true to size as shown in picture. Accidentally booked the smoking level, had to paid extra 9,000 yen to upgrade to non smoking floor. Level 1 has 3 coin laundry with washing and drying function but very hard to get an empty one as people are queuing to wash every hour. It was rather awkward too as after 1 hour wash and dry very likely the clothes are still wet but people are queuing behind so you cannot continue to dry it but to take all clothes out and dry in the room. Other than that it’s still a good one

There are conviniece store, drug store, Starbucks and several restaurants closley near the hotel, which means perfect location. We can walk to Osaka staion and along the river, there are beautiful restaurant and coffee shop. Since there are not much of tourist, it was quite to have a nice sleep. The room is small as much as other Japanese hotels but, clean and convertable compared to its room fee. People in front desk were very kind and nice. Location: near hommachi station. About a 10mins walk if you are dragging your luaggage and need tk use the lifts at the train station. Its a business district. So in the morg, theres locals selling bento boxes, didnt try any. Nearby restaurants didnt really caught my fancy. Family mart, starbucks, macs relatively nearby. Service: pretty ok. Grab your amenties at lobby. Water dispenser at level 12 only. Theres microwave at a different level. From 2/3pm-9pm, theres complimentary drinks at lobby. Room size: its pretty tight for 3. Enough room to half open 2 luaggaes thats it. Cleaniness: hmm. 1/3 bedsheet had alot of dust. You can see dust on the lights, walls and airvents. Ie, the cleaner wipe half the lights, those eye level he wipe, above eye level is dust.

I’m solo traveling and also working during this stay. This has got to be one of my better stays in Japan. Shiro checked me in and was very thorough to explain the amenities. Jin, helped me set things up for luggage delivery. Shiro, helped send my luggage to Haneda, and Yun, helped send my luggage to Tokyo. The staff are amazing and very attentive. The Housekeeping staff cleaned impeccably and the resident lounge was great to use. Notes for improvement: Gym needs more character to match the style of Citidines. Thanks Citidines Namba Osaka team for the extremely comfortable stay. I will definitely be back again.

The hotel was implementing an eco-friendly approach. Our room didn't clean up the room every day. But, new bath towels, bottled water, and tea/coffee bags were provided every day. You could also request to make up your room. The amenities were provided near the lift entrance, and you could take as needed. They also provided skin care, such as face oil cleaner, face wash, face lotion, and face cream. Amazing! The cleanliness was a top-notch. The room was pretty small. Our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They even provided a detailed map with personalized recommendations for places to visit, adding a thoughtful personal touch to our experience.   The hotel is impeccably clean and beautifully maintained, and its location is simply perfect. With the train station less than 100 meters away, getting around the city was incredibly easy and convenient. The surrounding area is vibrant and well-situated, making it an ideal base for exploring.  The rooms were spacious and thoughtfully designed, offering breathtaking views—on one side, we enjoyed the serene beauty of the sea and a stunning bridge, while the other side offered a direct view of Universal Studios.   Our kids enjoyed the stay so much that we ended up extending our trip by an extra day just to soak in the experience a little longer. Every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations, and the combination of a prime location, exceptional staff, and immaculate facilities made it truly unforgettable. Highly recommended for families and anyone visiting the area!
