Tiflis Map, Address, Transportation & Nearest Stations and Airport

I came for the first time to Tbilisi, which is wonderful town and I'll come back, but not to the hotel King David! I am very experienced world traveller and regular correspondant of Tripadviser about experiences in different world hotels. I am never going to hotels under 3 stars. I am the most happy, when I can give the good remark of hotels, but I have to mention also what is not good. I had 4 options for hotels in Tbilisi and finally I decided I was going to the KIng David (4 stars) as it is on good location, not too expensive, together with breakfast. The point of decision was that I read in the Tripadviser review: Was great to be picked up at the airport by the free service the hotel kindly offers. But it is not true!!!! A week before my arrival I contacted the hotel; they said everything was OK with my reservation, but I have to pay 50 GEL (around 16 euros) for the one way transfer from the airport. I didn't cancel, as there are always complications with cancellations, so I paid 100 GEL (more than 30 euros) for return transfer. I informed the Reception staff about it. They didn't appologize, they just said that the menagement has changed at the beginning of this year and the new one cancelled that facility. I couldn't talk to hotel Manager. Otherwise, I had quite nice, old fashioned, clean room with safe, fridge and tea/coffee facilities. The bathroom with shower was also quite OK with some toileteries, but I missed the Body lotion. The breakfast was medium quality. The juice couldn't be called ”juice”, but coloured water, the cold meat was not of good quality, so I didn't touch it. There were many kinds of cold salads, which European people don't like to eat for breakfast. No croissants, but some muffins. The coffee was instant one fom the little bags. The best was the ham omellette, which was prepared for me every morning by the kindest member of the staff, Mrs Irina. The reception is on the first floor and there is no lift from the ground to the first floor. The staff on reception was correct and nothing more. They were far from resolving my problem with the aiport transfer. I decided I am not coming back to this hotel and I am not proposing it to my friends.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the service was very good.

Beautiful hotel. The location is unbeatable. The breakfast and executive lounge are great. Two questions: First, there was a girl at the front desk who was very indifferent. We booked two executive rooms because our flight was very late and we wanted to check out later in one room. After asking about my flight time and whether I was a member, she refused to check out late. Second, there is a large concave and convex mirror in the room facing the bed which makes it uncomfortable.

We stayed 3 nights in overall in this great hotel. Location is really good : 5-10 minutes to the city centre by taxi. On the day of arrival we been greeted by Front Desk representative Mr. Temo. He provided very smooth check in and personalized service via delivering our luggage and followed up personally to all our needs, Very well done , Temo. Keep it always up! Hotel offering complimentary self-laundry service, very good breakfast with selection of local and international cuisine. I was so impressed with welcome amenities for Diamond hilton honors member - selections of local cheese and wine. I will definitely recommend this hotel for all my colleagues and friends . We will also be back in the near future. Than you all for outstanding hospitality service and wish you a prosperity!

Mon voyage en Georgie a commence à Rooms Hotel ce qui l'a rendu absolument genial. Des le premier pas à l'hotel rooms on plonge dans univers unique, un melange ancien et du nouveau, si bien éclairé dans une obscurité agréable et mystérieuse, un design sophistiqué, avec la plus grande classe, du gout impeccable, une beauté à couper le souffle qui se garde aussi dans les petits details. Rooms hotel est pour moi un des meilleurs hotel au monde, c'était une experience vraiment inattendue. L' avenance du personnel, le comfort absolue , la grande classe Géorgienne, avec son hospitalité et l'amour. Le personnel est hyper professionnel, dirigé par Alexandre le stuff manager très à l'écoute, les chambre parfaites, le petit déjeuner est absolument délicieux , dans un lieu si beau et agréable. C'était un séjour de rêve, qui m'a apporté beaucoup au niveau personnel et professionnel, et le ”petit” surclassement que j'ai reçu m'a changé de karma:) Merci à Hotel Rooms, je reviens vite :) madluba genezvali!

The hotel is located in the old centre of the city, behind Freedom Square. Access is via uneven steps, lots of them, as the taxi can only drop guests at the bottom of Betkemi Rise. Luckily, there is always a strappy lad at the hotel to carry your suitcases upstairs. The long hallway showcases its owner’s penchant for collecting oriental art. There is no reception as such just a couple of chairs at the top of the entrance stairs. Our room, Burma, on the same floor, was huge. Interestingly both the toilet and walk-in shower were an integral part of the room, at either end, with wash basins in between. There was a huge and comfortable bed, spacious wardrobe, fridge and even a microwave. Bathrobes and slippers were provided and there was safe box too. As the whole building nestles to the steep rock there are steps everywhere. Plenty of tables scattered all over at different levels and with great views over the city. There is even an infinity pool near the top of the whole complex. Breakfast was pretty good with local produce served, breads, cheese, jams, cakes and plenty of fruit.
