Stayed here for 3 nights . Was upgraded to a higher suite with dining room and living room . 15 minutes drive from airport to hotel . The great: - great decoration and art work around the entire hotel . 32 rooms so pretty exclusive . - great service as expected from Raffles hotel brand from check in , high tea , evening cocktail , turn down service . - try to meet all your request e.g very early departure for a hiking trip at 4am, hotel prepared a good breakfast to go at 0350am to be delivered to the room that can sustain us for a mountain hike . After the hike, we came back with muddy hiking shoes . As we didn’t want to stain the suite , we asked the hotel to see if they can clean the hiking shoes which they promptly did so by the next day. - excellent spa with steam room , mineral pool and very well equipped gym that made it very exclusive and well main- maintained . - very good service throughout the stay as there are 32 rooms though their is a Fairmont wing - ginormous room, our upgraded suite was easily 100sqm . Entry level suites are 60sqm . - good level of security and good sound-proofing Things that could be improved - breakfast and high tea was limited but probably due to low occupancy of the hotel so they wanted to reduce wastage . - breakfast and high tea is repetitive- if you stay there for 4 days, you get same food and high tea with little rotation - water pressure was pretty low and so was hot water . So bath tub does take a very long time to fill up . - TV could be updated to make it more connectable with personal devices . watches TV - connecting tunnel to shopping mall was out of bounds or closed off, due to some quarantine stuff which meant having to walk in traffic and rain above ground . Hopefully they would open up the underpass like how Philippines is slowly opening up . Would I stay here in Manila again , Yes I would .

Junior suite still looks fabulous. BUT the AC temp was not that cold compared to Fairmont which is where we first stayed. I decided to let this pass since we are staying for the night. Amenities were spot on expected to compliment the highly distinguished hotel brand name , BUT the TV channel selection needs some additions. Or make it a Netflix or Smart Tv accessible type. Remember this is a Raffles .. Afternoon tea which is usually by the lobby is not available. Best they can do is complimentary evening cocktails sent to your suite. Breakfast at Mireio was just fine. Were it not for the ambiance and staff service, it would have been a thumbs down for me. Plated breakfast choices with some bread and fruits only. Anyway this pandemic has ruined the buffet experience.

We always love to stay at Ascott BGC. The staff are very accommodating and the rooms are clean and well kept. There was one time when my kids left their toys upon checkout and when we came back it was completely stored and kept and our kids had it back.

Good experience of staycation with family. I appreciate the big room space. And the service of the security to send the food up to the room. Definitely will be back again!

Front office is amazing and attentive. Grand Hyatt and the Peak is an experience in itself. Every room has a bath tub and the hallway, lift smell really good. Not also as crowded as the likes of Savoy/ Belmont. Bar bites in The Peak is also yummy, highly recommended is their Negroni.

Stayed one night after visiting Boracay. I emailed them in advance and asked them to pick me up at the airport. It was room of coral wing of bottom category that stayed, but area and comfort are enough, too. There were 2 toilets. When I checked in, I was asked if I wanted a room on the sea side or the fountain side, so I chose the fountain side. After 6:00 p.m., we could see the fountain show that was held every hour from the living room and bathroom of the room. I can't hear the sound that much. The good points of the room are the large space for luggage, where you can go directly from the entrance, where there is a dresser with bright lights, where there is a non-slip at the bottom of the wide bathtub, where there is a bench in the shower room, And so on. The amenity has a good scent and the air volume of the dryer is sufficient. The touch of the bathrobe was also good. I had an early flight the next morning, so I asked the concierge to arrange a grab for me. . It was a reliable service.

The room was excellent and Miguel at the VIP front desk was very helpful and accommodating. Most of the staff are very friendly and have excellent customer service. Would love to come back and stay there on our next family vacation. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

I booked a Deluxe Suite at the Makati Shangri La and the room was spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately despite the website stating that a DVD player was in the suite there was none as they had apparently upgraded the TV and the new TV did not have a DVD connection and the new TV controls were a nightmare as they do not have a numerical button to change stations. The first night I was unable to change from CNN and the bedroom TV was stuck in menu mode so the next day the technician came to explain the controls and had to call in a colleague to re-programme the TV after which some channels worked but many channels showed an error message that the cable was not plugged in correctly to the set top box so they could not be accessed. Unlike other Horizon Club lounges this hotel did not have a chardonnay for the cocktail hour but a prosecco, viognier and pinot gris none of which I normally enjoy but the shiraz and cabernet sauvignon were acceptable. Likewise the canapes were sp**** and only paired with the white wine and not the red (which a lot of lounges are guilty of). There was a small selection of cocktails available. The lounge staff were very friendly and helpful even on the busy nights bar the first night when I was left waiting for a while to replenish my wine glass.
- Guest User
As expected of Shangri-La, I am very satisfied with everything. The breakfast buffet and room (deluxe suite) were both very good. Amenities are L'Occitane. I also had a relaxing time in the lounge. On the way, my daughter became unwell and the hotel nurse gave her medicine after examining her. It was very reassuring to know that they would even provide transportation to the emergency hospital if necessary. I became a gym member 13 years ago while I was working there, and I was very impressed that the staff at the time remembered me. Since it was closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, I stayed at other hotels, but I realized once again that Makati Shangri-La is the best.

There are not enough words to describe the excellence that this hotel offers its guests! From the moment you walk in, you feel so welcome, specially at the lobby lounge bar special mentioned to Dome he welcomed us with genuine smile he is the one assist on us during that night, He did a good job from suggesting the food and also thier drinks from their bartender Arjo everything is perfect, It was very comfortable and convenient. Perfect for our time for relaxation and with some business in the process. It was at the center of everything. We will definitely return.

I was in Manila for work and the hotel staff was EXCEPTIONAL from the security guard at the gate to the housekeepers. I must acknowledge the bartender at the lobby bar MC. After long days at the office, he knew exactly what drinks to mix to take the edge off. He was very personable and I could tell he enjoyed bartending. He along with everyone else did a phenomenal job of ensuring my stay was pleasant and worth returning. Great job everyone, I’ll be back for sure. Thanks MC and the rest of the Westin Marriott team. This is hotel is super classy. 5 stars all the way. It was unfortunate that we couldn’t maximize the facilities and everything it has to offer as our time then was just for a night and super tired coming from Boracay. Nevertheless I would love to have the opportunity to stay there again hopefully for a longer stay. I would imagine that’s it’s a great staycation for families in Manila. A little on the expensive side albeit.
- LarryFoz
The housekeeping did not remove and throw the used slipper bags. We stayed for 3 nights & 4 days and it’s still there in the closet. The lotion was not refilled. No more lotion on the third day. The hotel is ok, the food is good! Seaview is great! Good access to the SMX.

We have been going to Edsa Shangrila for family staycations for a long time now. It's our whole family's favorite quick getaway. We feel most comfortable and taken cared of at Edsa Shangrila. Our kids especially love swimming in the pool. We would like to give a special shout out to Sir Manny (lifeguard) for chatting with our 2 boys from time to time and for always keeping our kids safe while swimming. Thank you too to Sir Oteph Silvan, lifeguard for taking care of us. For my husband and I, we enjoy having drinks and peanuts at the Pool Bar made relaxing and easy with the impeccable service headed by Mavic and the whole Pool Bar team, Chef Anthony and Nikki! Of course, the whole stay won't be complete without experiencing dining at The Heat. We are most at home with our friends at Heat namely, Kap Mike Cifra, Angelica Banal, Stephen Manuel, Vergel Siason, and of course with Chef Anthony Catipay. Special shout out too to Luigi Bautista, Service Associate from guest service center who always took care of our Heat dining reservations and for the care he has has given us during our stay. Thank you too to Sheryl Meneses for her attention to details in keeping our rooms so clean and comfy. Edsa Shangrila is definitely a place we call home because of the great accommodations and the excellent service of people who work there that have become our good friends as well. We'll definitely be back because of them.

Always simply the best. I very much enjoyed the service and hospitality. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The food in Heat is great. And as usual, I wish I could have stayed longer. I wish all personnel the best for making my stay positively memorable.

We recently stayed here and celebrated our Birthday and Wedding Anniversary and had an exceptional experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and polite, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout our stay, their professionalism was outstanding. We truly appreciate Mr. Jason (pool area attendant) for taking care of us and offering drinks even though we were the only ones at the pool at that time. We also commend Ms. Marivic and her team, especially their dining area supervisor, for serving our food. Special mention to Ms. Sheila, who serenaded us during dinner. The rooms were luxurious, well-maintained, and offered stunning views. Every interaction with the staff left a positive impression, making our stay truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for its top-notch service and welcoming atmosphere.

The location was perfect for our needs. We had a great time and the pool was really big. They have really extensive grounds and an elegant atmosphere. Although the hotel is old, it is well-maintained and the amenities are a+. The staff were really nice and helpful. The thing i didnt like was that the toilets were too fancy. I really want a nice simple bidet. Also, itms a little bit dark. I know it's for ambiance but I want bright white light.

The staff is amazing. Very helpful, friendly and accommodating. They could tell I was from out of the country and made many recommendations for me to see their lovely city. The room was clean and housekeeping would come around later in the afternoon when I would be out. The restaurant buffet was wonderful, a wide selection of Asian foods. My departure flight was late in the day so they let me stay longer in the room with a later check out. Would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is adequate, but slightly overpriced vs. competition. While they have updated the lobby in recent years, from what I can tell there has been little effort to update guest rooms, which are dated vs. other 5 star properties like the Westin. The one differentiating factor this hotel previously had was a great breakfast buffet served in the Pacific Lounge on the 21st floor with floor to ceiling windows that gave a sweeping view of the skyline and the bay. It was carpeted with cushioned club chairs and those soft surfaces absorbed noise and the overall experience was a great way to start your day compared to the crowded and loud breakfast buffets at other 5 star hotels. Well someone decided to spend a lot of money to destroy that experience. They have opened a new restaurant on the first floor that is loud, crowded and gives you a view of 7-11 across the street instead of the bay. I spoke to the GM about this, so he already knows my opinion, but what continues to strike me is his point that the Pacific Lounge is “a premium space” - yes Sir, that’s true and previously it was one that virtually all your guests got to enjoy which is exactly why it was THE difference maker for this hotel. I came back thru Manila for a night on May 15 and was going to try the Sheraton one more time, but it was fully booked. Instead I stayed at the Westin for less money. There was no comparison- the Westin’s rooms have a much higher end finish, their food was better, and the service there was far superior like being provided a welcome drink and the Manager sending fruit to my room with a welcome note. The Sheraton Manila Bay is no longer on par with Manila’s best hotels

For the same price, there is no bathtub, and the number of rooms in the entire hotel is small. 90% of the rooms have no view from the window, and only those facing the sea have a view. At the same price, there is no rich breakfast like the old Sofitel, a good view, and a large room. The experience is thick once, and I will not continue to stay. It's just opened, new, but it's inconvenient to shop, go shopping, and eat around.

During my recent 3-day, 2-night stay at Swiss-Belhotel Blulane in Manila, the overall experience left much to be desired. While the hotel had potential, the importance of providing quality service to guests seemed inconsistent. Firstly, there was a noticeable discrepancy in the service provided by the on-the-job trainees. While some displayed genuine warmth and eagerness to assist, others seemed hesitant, particularly when they perceived that a guest might not offer a tip. This attitude detracted from the overall guest experience and contradicted the essence of hospitality, which should prioritize genuine care and assistance regardless of gratuity. Additionally, the functionality of the elevators was a significant inconvenience. With only one elevator in operation, guests frequently experienced delays and overcrowding, resulting in frustration and inconvenience. This issue significantly impacted the efficiency of guest movement within the hotel and should be addressed promptly to enhance overall satisfaction. In conclusion, while this hotel in Manila has potential, there are notable areas for improvement, particularly in ensuring consistent and genuine guest service and addressing operational inefficiencies such as elevator functionality. By instilling in all staff members, including trainees, a genuine commitment to hospitality and service excellence, the hotel can elevate the overall guest experience and distinguish itself as a premier destination for travelers.

We stayed at Winford overnight to celebrate my brother's birthday. I could say it was a very nice experience. When we arrived, the room was already available. I even requested for a room on a higher floor and they gave me a good one. The ambience and lighting fixtures were really nice and the waiting area with sofa as well. We stayed at an Executive Suite. The room was also nice. It had a bath tub, separate shower and 2 wash basin. There is also another toilet upon entry but with watercloset and wash basin. The view was also nice though its more of houses and the rizal mountains. The pool size has a good size and not crowded and also heated. We had dinner at the poolbar since they have Acoustic band playing on saturdays. The service was a bit slow since there were lots of people and the food came from the ****** kitchen. Also, they do not accept room charging if it exceeds the 2k deposit. First time to experience this, good thing my brother brought his wallet. Food and liquor was good too. For breakfast, they also have a good selection however they do not have bacon :( sad. Nonetheless, the breakfast experience was good as well. They also sent a birthday cake for my brother. Check-out was fast too. One downside is the parking area which was on the 7th floor. It was a round swirl going up or down and caused us to be dizzy. Overall, i recommend this hotel. It is not very high-end but the service and people are good and facilities are nice. P.S. We were not able to go to the ****** as we have a kid with us.

It’s good as usual. Their service is still good, their room service is still generally decent, breakfast is still buffet. Although, this New Year’s visit their buffet spread wasn’t our favorite. Just be aware though that their deluxe rooms aren’t published here in Trip.com most of the time. So we just had to upgrade at the hotel into two queen beds for ₱1500 per night since our room upgrade was not into the renovated side as I requested a carpeted room and bathtub for the safety of my children. I think it’ll cost more like ₱2,500 or ₱2,800 for upgrade into the renovated deluxe rooms. The renovated rooms however do not have carpets in them.

The hotel service is superb. No problem there. Swimming pool is a joke. It's not even inside the hotel. It's next to the stage and appears to have been the old place where they held their sea lions. Ginawang pool lng. The rooms are average. Biggest problem is that it hasn't decided if it's a room for kids and family or a honeymoon suite. The shower even when the door is closed leaks a lot of water so the entire bathroom is wet. The most disappointing is the actual Ocean Park. Limited animals and attractions. The show itself is limited to birds and 2 sea lions who do a few tricks for snacks. OK naman un show but the mere fact that they let their audience burn in the hot summer sun for 30min and the show is merely that is severely disappointing. They can't even pay for a good tent cover.
