I found these when I did a simple "6 bedroom Cabin in Wisconsin Dells" The price was extremely reasonable, so I booked it for our weekend away with the entire family. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is due to lack of Wi-Fi and TV's throughout the Group Lodge. I honestly didn't pay attention to either when I booked. They do have a ton of DVD's that you can take to your cabin but there is only one TV in the main part. It felt like camping in a cabin, which was nice. We were also there when it was quiet all the time This place is great other than that! The Group Lodge is huge and has plenty of places for people to sleep. Bathrooms are plenty, the kitchen had everything (Including 2 refrigerators which came in handy), Ping Pong and a pool table. The super large table was also a plus! It was clean and spacious; we had 15 Adult and 2 babies, and we never once tripped over each other or had to walk around somebody. The location to everything was also really nice The outside is super nice with plenty to do. The bonus comes with the Goats & Donkey! We only used the pool once, but it was nice and warm. The people who run this are very attentive to your needs when you need something and super nice to talk to you. You can really tell they are trying to keep the rustic feel while updating everything I would stay here again, now that we know, but maybe not with kids who need to be connected on their downtime.

First, the good things- large eating spaces, fires made for you each night, goats to pet, activities to do, good for hiking and mountain biking, free Waterpark passes Not so good but not a deal breaker- odd format of cabins(plumbing in weird places), available parking, run down from pictures on the website Things that would keep me from coming back- the reservation system is outdated and difficult to work with, no laundry facilities as promised on the website In general , our group can have fun anywhere and we enjoyed being together. The large gathering places gave us an opportunity to eat and play games together. It is certainly not a luxury resort. It is more like a campground with cabins.

First off, Wendy was awesome. She greeted us at checkin and made sure we had ample towels, firewood, and answered any questions we had. She is also very responsive if you need anything. We stayed in one of the larger cabins that slept 14. The grounds are nice and location is great. The cabins are not at all what we expected. They desperately need a deep cleaning, repairs and updates. The beds are awful and the cabin smelled like mildew. We were also missing some basic kitchen items like measuring cups. One of our bathrooms had a tippy toilet and a busted faucet. The outdoor patio and fire pit area was great but we’ve rented a lot of cabins over the years and I’m not sure this was worth what we paid. They really need to spend the off season sprucing the cabins up and making repairs.

We booked two cabins a year in advance. Months before our stay, Tom called to say he was doubling the price. We tried to explain that we booked our specific dates the year before and he said demand increased and he could raise the price if he wanted to. He would not let us get our deposit back or combine the deposits into just one cabin. Some of our family couldn't afford the new price. The cabins are filthy and not worth the current price. You cannot take your shoes off indoors because the floor is so dirty. The shower didn't drain and flooded the bathroom. They have terrible customer service and I would not recommend this place. They are hard to get ahold of and hostile to speak with. Avoid this resort at all costs.
