The Dingle Bay Hotel was a wonderful base for our hiking trip on the peninsula. Each morning Caroline greeted us for a wonderful breakfast. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

I’ll start by saying this is a quaint little hotel in a prime location. The staff were all very nice and the breakfast was terrific. However, our room was a huge disappointment. My main concern was the very old, worn and stained carpeting in the room. It was really very disgusting and I felt I had to keep my shoes on in the room. For the price we paid to stay here I think it’s fair to expect better. I’ve attached photos from both sides of the bed.

The hotel as a whole is very clean, tidy and nicely decorated. The food was good. The thing you need to know however is that all it's rooms are not created equally. Ours was in the roof and had 3 velux windows; 2 in the bedroom and another in the bathroom. So there was no view of anything. At all. Only a tiny bit of sky. To be fair we were not promised a view but one usually gets something to look at even if it's a car park. Apart from that, the room and bed were perfectly comfortable.

Currently here while typing this review. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Ask for room 122. Front view of bay. The large crowds outside walking under the window did not bother us even with the windows open. Located perfectly close to hard or, pubs and shopping. The breakfast was more than we could eat. Paudies bar was top notch. Would definitely stay here next year. Fingers crossed we get to come back to this place.

I cannot say enough things about the Dingle Bay Hotel. The service is great! The ladies at the front desk are the sweetest and so helpful. Thomas in the Pub is the best and always so happy and friendly. We celebrated my Aunt's birthday and the whole crew was attentive and quick with the orders. The food was excellent! The decor was so nice, beautiful flowers everywhere. We also spent four days and their hotel rooms were clean, big and very nice. No noise level issues. The value was really good as well! Can't wait to return. Being in town and across from the harbor really makes the stay so special.
