Old, worn-out bungalow that doesn’t match the website photos at all. Just compare the advertised pictures with what you actually get to see the difference. A complete scam. Complaint filed with the Marvilla Parks group with no result. It’s a shame because the location itself is fantastic.

Nice location next to the lake, which is shallow and has warm water. However, me and my family stayed in two of the mobile homes, and they were filthy. In ours, the bathroom smelt of dried urine, no matter how much we cleaned it, and it was also full of spider webs. In the other home, there were discarded beer bottles in and around the home. The shop and restaurant are expensive, however there is a LIDL and Leclerc supermarket nearby.

The bedding was poor however the rest of the cabin was perfect we made use of the kitchen despite there being no oven. The awning was perfect in the summer heat. The lake, pool, bar, shops and laundry station were all fabulous and allowed for an easy stress free week. The daily activities such as the market were a fabulous way of embracing the culture. However we realised shortly after paying €30 on wifi for the week that it didn’t work this was poor as we had already paid for something that wasn’t in use.

We stayed here for 2 weeks in late June- early July. First impressions were good, we arrived after 8pm and were able to find the keys. Our plot was in the F region. The mobile home was clean in general, but dusty under the beds! Also, we had paid for a 'kit bebe' which included a travel cot and high chair. Unfortunately the rooms are so small with the beds, that the travel cot didn't fit in any of them. So in the end we couldn't use the travel cot and the baby had to sleep in my bed and my husband had to sleep in one of the single beds, which was too short for him and uncomfortable. We didn't need the highchair as my baby was too young, but it was broken anyway as one of the legs didn't fit in it!! The garden was by far the worst of the 6 in our area, despite us staying the longest of any of the guests. There was a high drop from the terrace and with young children we had to request some kind of barrier to stop them falling off if they moved around the side of the table. This was fixed quickly. But where the other gardens were easily accessible and in front of the mobile home, ours was to the side, small, and the entrance covered by a large bush, so our children didn't use it unfortunately. The washing machines on site are managed by an external company, so if you have any issues (like misunderstanding the 2 different sets of instructions in the room, the instructions on the machine are older and will result in the door closing before you have put your clothes in) if you try to call the company to get a refund, they will not answer the number given, and the campsite reception will refuse to help as it is not their machines! We had this issue as did several people I met in the laundry. Our other issue was the kids club, we were told several times by reception that they spoke English, but each time our daughters went they couldn't understand the staff there as they spoke very little English, so after 2 or 3 times they refused to go, which was a shame. The pool was nice, generally clean although several times my fingers caught hairs in the water. The outdoor playground was also nice. The kids discos were fun for our 4 and 5 year old. The reception staff were friendly. We ate twice at the restaurant, we found the food nice but the staff took a long time and knew absolutely nothing about the wines except the names. Because they were all local wines we knew very little about them (we did know some wines from the Bordeaux region) and would not have been able to tell what was dry or fruity etc. The staff could not tell us anything about the wines which was disappointing.
