Recently stayed here and it was the most amazing stay. The new manager made us feel at home, nothing was too much trouble. My little boy was welcomed which was lovely. The food was elevated to a whole other level! Can't wait to go back asap - can't express how amazing the staff were.

For our wedding anniversary we went here after hearing good reviews. First impression was great , modern , clean and welcoming. Our table was in the bar area . Lots of dogs in with their owners , we didn't mind this at all as we have dogs ourselves. Our waitress was really nice , didn't get her name , but she was superb. The food was gorgeous and presented beautifully. We loved our night and will definitely return .

We had a lovely night at the kings arms at Temple Sowerby. Very welcoming helpful staff ( particularly the lady at breakfast, sorry I dont know your name ) super comfy beds and excellent dinner. Thank you . Will definitely be back if we come this way again. The recent refurbishment is lovely with attractive decor and beautiful bathrooms

Our go to local for the whole stay. We stayed just round the corner from here and made it our local from day one. First night we popped round for a quick drink before heading to bed and booked on for breakfast for the next day. Absolutely lovely breakie to set you up for the day, popped back for the Sunday roast after a big walk, delicious and hearty and needed after the long walk. Stayed for coffees and card games by the fire. So cosy could have stayed there all night. The level of services and quality are outstanding which is why we booked for our last night meals here. Massive shout out to the staff who make you feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. 10/10 would recommend!

We had three delicious meals at the Kings Arms during a recent stay in Tenple Sowerby and I cannot recommend the Kings Arms highly enough. All of the staff were exceptional and went out of their way to cater to our needs (not easy as we were travelling with our autistic daughter who has a very restricted diet) and the food was absolutely delicious - big shout out for the Sunday roast in particular. Thank you - we will be back when we are over that way again!
