Windermere in Bandon, Oregon has been around since 1936. All the rooms face the beach. And the walk to the beach is a very short distance. I have been coming here since the mid-1990's. The rooms are not fancy but the view makes up for this. For this trip we were in a newer building behind the office on the first floor. We also have a private patio. The room came with a small kitchenette and the most fabulous view of the ocean. We have stayed in different units over the years including one of the upstairs/downstairs units with friends.

This was a great place right on the beach. The service was great from Day 1 and continued thru the entire trip. The location couldn't have been better with a beautiful view of the beach from every room. There is a stairway to the beach that is easy to climb. The room was extremely clean. Carol at the front desk was amazing.

Amazing views, short walk to the ocean waves, homey rooms and feel. We snuggled in blankets and drank wine while enjoying the sunset on a nearly empty beach with a gorgeous sunset, a few horses and riders going by. Very clean and upkept buildings, grounds and rooms. Each room has its own balcony/patio with beach chairs to use with a fireplace in our room. Very reasonable prices. Delighted to sit and listen to the ocean waves and look out at the stars on our private little patio in our beach chairs. Friendly lady at the front desk offering danishes and coffee in the morning. We will most definitely be back the next time we come through.

What a wonderful place to stay! Right on the beach with walkway and trail leading down to the beach. Beds were very comfortable, room was clean, drip coffee maker, fireplace in room and full kitchen! Checked everything on our list and more. Would stay here again!

Stay was great. Staff was accommodating and kind. Short walk to beach and beautiful view! Would stay again. Beautiful beaches with amazing rocks.
