Lovely inn with extremely pleasant, helpful and easy going staff. Comfortable, clean room with a nice public porch and small outdoor space. Great location across from the beach. The only drawback was the tiny bathroom in the one room efficiency.

I had a wonderful stay at the Windward. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and always willing to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The environment was very clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere throughout my visit. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

The Windward at the Beach was incredible. This was our first time staying here. Dave the owner was so attentive to our needs. He knew all of our first names, always asked if we were ok and had great suggestions to get coffee, rent bikes and eat. The location is fantastic! It's a block away from the beach, very convenient. The rooms were quaint and clean, very beachy vibes. There are only ten rooms, very quiet and relaxing. (Don't worry mommies, young kids were staying there and having a great time!) There's a terrific outdoor shower which we took advantage of. We will definitely be returning!!!

We loved our stay at Windward - Beach Haven, NJ. David was so welcoming and always greeted me by name. It was wonderful to stay steps away from the beach. Our room was clean and well appointed and we loved the amenities such as the books and games in the enclosed porch, beach badge access, beach toys and outdoor showers. We would love to return, I could see coming with my husband or again as a family trip! So happy we discovered this Jersey Shore gem!

We all loved the Windward! Walking distance to the beach. Room 10 was awesome. Big bathroom and windows facing 3 directions. The staff was extra attentive to always wanting to know if we needed anything. We were able to keep the beach badges until 4 PM on checkout day and we were able to go back and use the outdoor showers supplied with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash and towels to clean off before our journey home. We would definitely go back!
