After two nights in the Roseland Corp Hotel I just don’t know where to start describing this horrible experience as everything - the service, the rooms, the prices - was just so, so bad. So I just start at the beginning: We arrived on a Thursday. Arranging a pick-up from the airport was surprisingly complicated, it took several mails with the service manager for no reason but in the end there was a quite unfriendly driver waiting for us at the gate. They charged us 750.000 Dong which is way above the common taxi-rate (150.000 Dong). When we arrived at the hotel they charged my credit card for the room - twice. As the woman at the front desk didn’t understand English that well, it was quite complicated to convince her of her mistake and get the money back. The Roseland Corp hotel has an impressive entrance area. It’s nice, really. But unfortunately this doesn’t translate to the rooms. They are terrible, probably furnished in the 80s and not renewed since. They have whirlpool bathtubs made of plastic, lots of wood in the room, curtains that haven’t been washed for ages, and you can hear everything that is going on outside of your room. The first room we got smelled like cold cigarette smoke. I complained and they upgraded us to a bigger room (after we looked at a series of rooms, one of them still in use by a paying guest). But even the upgraded room was by far worse then everything we have seen in Vietnam. I wanted to cancel the whole reservation but they wouldn’t let us go. Instead they promised us the best room of the hotel the next day and we stayed. The first night was terrible. The bed had a very, very old and thus noisy spring mattress. The slightest movement made a noise. The walls and curtains had stains all over it. There’s no constant hot water, I had a cold shower in the morning. Shower and toilet happened to make weird unexpected noises. The best room in the hotel was basically the same as before but with a better view and a less noisy mattress. At this point I was ready to drink on that but unfortunately all the mini bar contained was two bottles of water. Breakfast was…well, let’s not talk about it. All of this would have been okay somehow if this hotel wasn’t so pricey. It’s like paying for a filet mignon and getting McDonalds Cheesburger. When we checked out the woman at the front desk (the same who messed up the payment) kindly asked us to sit and wait in the entrance area so she can check if everything is okay. We waited five, ten, fifteen minutes and nothing happened. When we asked her if everything was okay, she was surprised to see that we are still there. Yes, everything okay, she said. I can’t say the same. P.S.: Neil, the doorman, was the only exception to this experience. You are great, man! Please find a new employer.

I have stayed at many locations around hcmc but this apartment really suited my needs with many convenience stores that are open 24 hrs. The cleanliness is top notch even with me cooking everyday there. Everything works as intended with the TV, aircon and even the jacuzzi bath tub.

Stayed here for NY countdown. The location is central, at the District 1 ”Japanese Street”. Bustling and convenient area. When not enjoying their nice breakfast, there are plenty of eateries nearby. The rooftop bar and pool was good for viewing new year fireworks too. However, a few setbacks deducted quite a few points. 1) faulty elevator at times (had to take the stairs sometimes, and be careful at the stairs as its ceiling is really low, my friend hit his head once) 2) hammering and drilling in nearby room or building at early hours (good thing is they let you switch room when dissatisfied) 3) first room had a weird smell (older room with Jacuzzi tub). The final room we got smelled nice (newer room with standard bathtub), but TV remote control and bathtub stopper were missing, had to ask for it 4) the final flaw that made my female friends very uncomfortable, was the clientele - many middle-aged men sitting or waiting around lobby area, ogling girls who walked by. Sometimes it's a group of men, sometimes they're paired with a local lady. Other things to note: - upon check-in, they will request to keep your passport throughout your stay. We were not going to do that, so we gave them VND500000 as deposit (which you'll get back when you check out) - the toilet and shower/bath area are separate, however the walls and doors were made of frosted glass, rather see-through, might be awkward for some if you're not a couple

Blue Diamond Signature Hotel 3* has shared the same address with Sky Gem Hotel Sora 4* in Google Map. The two hotels are now the same. Its does not look like the pictures shown in Google Map/Bookings. The hotel's good location is right opposite to the Thai Van Lung gate of Japanese corner. Its 8F pool area is under construction during May 2022. The corridors have not been air conditioned. Room numbers notice are attached by papers on the corner. Walking in the corridors feel like a maze. The garage is not in use. Decoration materials are there. If you have own vehicles, it is wise to park it in the nearby public pay parking lot. The lobby has a coffee shop. The restaurant provides simple breakfasts. The rooms with windows are DELUXE – Internal, Junior suite, VIP. It is suggested to book directly with the hotel. The Interiors are designed with many bamboos. The air conditioner in room takes a while to cool down the room. A ventilation well is behind the bamboo slide door. The bathtub is next to the bed. Toilet and shower room is behind the bed. The floor has no carpet. It is quiet during night. Soundproof is ok. In general, the hotel has a very good location.

Also walking arround is nice, but recommend to be aware of your surroundings when doing so at night. staff is very very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ok. VERY RESPONSIVE Our flight was scheduled to arrive at 1:40 AM, Vietnam Time. I sent a message to the hotel about the schedule, and they were responsive. I was even asked if I'd be needing some help. When we got to the hotel at around 2:30 AM, even if late, we were greeted and assisted cordially, as if we arrived during working hours. LOCATION IS NEAR THE ATTRACTIONS It is literally a walking distance from all the tourist attractions in District 1! There are also a lot of convenience stores nearby for your late night needs. ROOM IS WORTH THE MONEY I booked a room for three, and it was more than I expected. The beds were spacious enough. The queen size could even fit three persons, and the single could fit two. There is a tub with a window with a view of the street (with roll down curtains, of course), giving you that Italy Vibe. Both the room and the bathroom are spacious. STAFF IS VERY ACCOMMODATING AND FRIENDLY ROOM CLEANER IS VERY THOROUGH The staff of the hotel is very friendly-reception, dining, and housekeeping. They will really provide you with your needs. Here in the Philippines, that kind of service will only be given to you in a hotel worth three times the cost of your stay in Nhat Ha L Opera. As to the housekeeping, they are really thorough in cleaning. Our room was very clean after we asked for a make-up. Supplies are also abundant. FREE BREAKFAST IS SUPERB The breakfast buffet will serve you with all kinds of food- Vietnamese, European, American, etc. They have different stations for each. Imagine having a ”GLOBAL BREAKFAST”. Moreover, the food tastes really great! Their Pho is as good as that from a specialty shop. I sort of pigged out and forgot about my diet for the duration of my stay because the food was really good. OVERALL Overall, this is highly recommended. I will definitely book here again when I come back. Thank you!

Roseland Sweet Hotel is a value for money hotel; and there would be many other similar hotels easily found online. But what made Roseland stand out was one of their staff Kiet Anh, who is a bellboy, front desk, concierge all rolled into one. The week I was there, he was working everyday and all hours, I practically see him all the time whenever i'm at the lobby, whether I am going out or coming back. His bright, cheerful and friendly demeanour plus his very personal touch is on par with the service found only at the 5 or 6 star hotels. He was what made the difference for me staying at Roseland; which otherwise would be a good but pretty average hotel. Roseland is indeed very fortunate to have employed a staff like him; and given time and the right grooming would make an excellent management personnel in the hospitality industry. My choice of hotel will still be Roseland for my next coming trip, but only if Kiet is there. Thank you Kiet, for making my stay so pleasant and memorable; and thanks for helping me send my cracked handphone for repair; you really saved my life!! See you soon!

I stayed at the Paragon Saigon Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City for 1 night and 2 days this month, with my wife and 2 teenage sons. The hotel is situated in the central district, very close to restaurants, supermarkets and shopping malls. It's walking distance from the Times Square area. I'd booked a Family Windows Room with 2 Queen Beds. The room was very neat and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The hotel staff were very friendly and warm and speak well in English. The seating area at the entrance, engulfed in greenery, is a lovely place to laze around and those who drink would find that the perfect place to have a swig or two, watching the street activity in front of the hotel. The swimming pool is very clean and located on the top most floor, and so we have a lovely view from the pool overlooking the city area. The gym and swimming pool instructor is a very friendly and warm gentleman and took to conversation with us instantly upon meeting him. The breakfast buffet (complimentary as part of the room cost) was superb, had a vast spread, good options for vegetarians like us as well, to name a few, veg pizza, pastries, noodles, fresh juice, breads and fresh fruits. Overall, I'd definitely recommend the Paragon Saigon Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City to fellow travellers.

Good value for money! A good place just to sleep for the night. Room was spacious and clean; and the bathroom cleanliness was fine and included the usual amenities. Forgot to take photos before we messed the room up! Location is good if you want a quieter place away from the bars etc, there is a train track right behind the hotel but we only heard one train in the morning, so it didn’t bother us. We walked the 45 mins from the hotel to the notre dam cathedral and other attractions nearby, nice walk with many many cafes and restaurants.

The Odys is a tricky one for us to review. Overall we stayed 3 nights during our trip, 2 nights together then a break and a further night after a trip to the mekong. The hotel itself is quite nice.. nothing really wrong with it as such, the rooms were clean and had everything in there like all the others we've stayed in during our time in Vietnam. I wouldn't really call the Odys a ”Boutique” hotel but that's a matter of opinion.. but where we feel the Odys was a let down in this regard was that ”personal” feeling. Earlier in our trip we stayed in many places and all of them without question made us feel like we'd been before.. and in the case of multiple nights and multiple visits indeed the return welcome felt very personal (Bonsella.. you are the best in this regard during our trip!). The staff in reception were pleasant and polite but but it did seem very ”clinical” in approach? Maybe the city thing? But in our opinion it was a little too sterile feeling for a ”boutique” hotel. Breakfast in the hotel was fine, with the usual options available but the staff in the restaurant were our least preferred of the whole trip (anywhere in Vietnam), they were disorganised to say the least.. There were plenty of them around but service wasn't exactly the best. We did take advantage of one of the offers for the restaurant one night, booking a table by the side for a good city view. When we arrived that evening we find that the table we booked had been given to someone else, and in fact there was no mention of our booking. We waited and before long another suitable table became available. After eating we got the bill, and queried why the offer wasn't applied. We were told in order to get the offer we needed to book a table beforehand, this was by the very same person who led us to the table after finding out our booked table had already been given to someone else. It was sorted out, but this is just one of many examples of the staff not being the best. Oddly enough it was also the only place in Vietnam where we struggled with staff not being able to speak English (very few seemed to?), this took us by surprise as even in the remote locations in the north this didn't seem an issue. So In summary, we think this hotel is ok for the night, but that boutique feel is not there, its much more of a large hotel kind of feeling.

At night, the hotel’s people said that they would be next to the door and saw security. The result was not the hotel. Next is a lot of trouble, as follows ↓ #停# The hotel does not provide parking service, and did not give us a clear explanation. As a result, the next morning, the car was “lost” (there was also a delay in going to the consulate). Finally, at noon, it was found that the so-called urban management was dragging the car away. And did not leave any notes. The car was also rented, and the penalty was paid. The car was not taken back, and finally the car owner was asked to handle it. It’s really a mistake, it’s speechless... I want to cry without tears. If there is no such thing, I would recommend this homestay.

I recently stayed at CouCou Homestead I, located at 121/35 Đ. Lê Thị Riêng, Phường Phạm Ngũ Lão, Quận 1, Hồ Chí Minh, Vietnam, and it was a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic, with easy access to the night walking street, just a short walk away. It’s incredibly convenient for anyone looking to explore the local nightlife. The place itself felt like home. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect retreat after a busy day. The highlight for me was the breakfast. It was delicious and really set a positive tone for the day. Overall, CouCou Homestead I provided a great blend of comfort and convenience. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We spent our first two nights in Vietnam here. Staff were very friendly and eager to help (even through the language barrier). Rooms were a little dated but comfortable nonetheless. A/C worked very well, bathroom was fully stocked with toiletries and the free breakfast was delicious! A little far from the tourist/sightseeing area but was very close to a couple of local busses that took you there (for approx 30 cents Canadian) and there was a ton to explore and experience on the doorstep. Would definitely go back again!

Pros: Lovely rooms (two-bedroom) which had everything you needed. Nicely decorated and felt upscale. Hotel was slightly off the main road and rooms were quiet. HCMC roads are busy and noisy!! Small but clean gym, small playground for kids (indoor and outdoor). Pool is big and clean. Restaurant area next to pool. Lobby and reception area is very nice, smells good and has a luxurious feel. Location was good, near the zoo. Cons: only one: breakfast. Vietnamese food is very good but this was the hotel’s weakest link. Limited choice and not that delicious, if you got there after 8.30am almost all the warm food was cold. Hope this can be improved.

We were greeted upon arrival by the staff who were lovely and provided us with welcome drinks. The check in process was smooth however our room was not ready so we were unable to check in. They kept our luggage for us and we went and sat by the pool. Don't be fooled by the pictures of the pool it is actually extremely small with only 6 sunbeds around the actual pool area. Half of the pool is under the shade. There is another terrace upstairs with sunbeds but you are away from the pool and some parts shaded. We stayed in a family suite which was extremely spacious and clean. The breakfast had a good selection and catered to everyone there. The location is roughly around a 10 minute walk from Bui Vein Walking street which isn't too bad once you navigate the traffic. Due to the size of Ho Chi Minh it is extremely difficult to get your bearings especially if you are only staying a few days. Overall I would stay in this hotel again.

RiverGate, the location of the hotel apartment is great, has been staying many times, located in the 4th county, crossing the bridge is the bustling Saigon 1 county, there is 7-11 and supermarket downstairs, there is a swimming pool and gym, the manager of Zhou Apartment service is great, and there are many room types to choose from, This time I stayed in 4 1 bedroom 1 living room 1 bathroom 1 kitchen type rooms. Although it is a pity that my friends are not on the same floor, the service is really great. There are 2 or 3 room types in the house type. Clean and airy room. Geographical location, easy to get to places. The owner is enthusiastic and friendly. The staff guides meticulously and thoughtfully. Check-in is 2pm, but if there is an early room, the owner will let you check in early without charge. Overall, I will continue to choose this place for the next time ❤️

Services was pretty good , as a new hotel with young staffs very enthusiastic and friendly. As I was check in late the hotel compensate me with a transfer to bus terminal . Housekeeping can still be improved.

Nice room which is spacious and comfortable. Not a lot of shops or places near the hotel. Location to the airport is ok. Nice roof area but it is messy and cluttered. This hotel touched the borderline of a very good two star hotel and an ok 3 star hotel.

My stay at the apartment was absolutely incredible. The apartment was stylish and luxurious, and the view of the city was breathtaking. The convenience of being located within the Vinhome Building was a major plus. I loved being able to easily access the observation deck, where I could take in the stunning panoramic views. The presence of local restaurants, cafes, and shops made my stay extremely convenient. I highly recommend the apartment.
