First of all, Colombia is a small town. The main Missouri University, this hotel is the best condition! Service is warm, no order with breakfast! Room facilities have been a long time, it is still clean! It takes more than 30 dollars to take a taxi from the airport. Importantly, to the airport, the hotel can arrange a free shuttle bus to deliver, you can talk to the baggage department in advance!

Overall, this hotel is really struggling. We won’t be staying here again and I would encourage you to find other options. I had to keep telling myself it was only for one night. {Call before you book any hotels to see if they will really have breakfast in light of COVID-19.} Pros: A/C in our room kept it nice and cool! Cons: Terrible Curb appeal: The exterior landscaping has been neglected. There are weeds all over the parking lot and overgrown weeds and bushes everywhere. Unfortunately, it gives off a very sketchy vibe. Bait & Switch/Small Print: the hotel advertises breakfast, but doesn’t put anything out besides water and coffee. When I went back to look at the reservation, this was put in small print “ Hotel Notice: Food and beverage options at this hotel may be limited or unavailable at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.” They shouldn’t advertise it comes with a breakfast for a family if they are going to only show this small print notice after I pay a non refundable reservation! Also, the front desk employee said they just “didn’t get a delivery that morning, but I think they just aren’t doing buffets during COVID. Professionally challenged: Both hotel desk employees wore plain clothes. Weird Smells: in elevator and our bedroom.

We stayed at StayBridge earlier in the week while traveling on family business. This hotel keeps a very casual rapport with the guests which was interesting to observe as I work in the industry. I don’t particularly mind if staff take part in eating meals with guests so long as they are on the clock and putting guests FIRST. Our earlier visit showed employees could do this. The second visit was something else. The girl at the front desk pretty much seemed like being torn away from her Friday night cigarette puff directly outside the main doors was a problem for her. She took our reservation over the phone and was very difficult to work with. When we arrived she treated us like we were difficult because we were booking a King room type and she wouldn’t say what was available and blamed an online booking for taking one she tried to book. We just drove 7 hours and want a king bed. After getting into the room, my girlfriend took a shower and found the conditioner was out. I went back to the front desk and she came in from her cigarette and said “Yep???” I told her we were out of conditioner. She said, “it’s in the shower”. I reminded her that we stayed there a couple nights before and knew how the pumps worked and that there was no conditioner. So she went in the back and came back with a bottle that was nearly out of conditioner and told me to “screw it on”. If she knew how to change them herself there is a lock bar on the shower products. That was a really bad impression. Not only could the service not be delivered, any kindness and care was completely absent. In the morning I took a late shower before checkout and the 2nd floor water was cold and just got colder. I sucked it up and showered anyway, grabbed a towel to dry off and it stank like cigarette smoke, a stinky memorable moment of my crappy service the night before. I came down to speak with the assistant manager who was having a conversation with two employees. I just stood there and waited for him to acknowledge me and the employees to step aside to have this conversation about my experience and waited and waited and waited. I let him know my experience and he said, “that’s weird because our housekeeping staff doesn’t smoke”. I said, maybe the towel was supplied from elsewhere else. While he gave me a 20% discount easy enough, once again the care and priority of the guest was less important than whatever was going on. I know corporate usually looks at TripAdvisor reviews and they are taken fairly seriously. Maybe hotel employees dismiss them, but I do think the GM is missing Hospitality 101 basics to impart to her team. THE GUEST COMES FIRST. Before your snack. Before your conversation with other employees. Before typing something into the computer. Before imposing your own logic, you listen and understand. Before that phone call coming in and the guest is physically present. Before running back and forth between the front desk and the entryway to smoke. You do

My husband and I stayed at Country Inn three days during a medical stay in Columbia. We travel often. This was the cleanest hotel I have been to in years. We stay at nice hotels but I can’t tell you the last time that I didn’t feel the need to clean the bathroom floors and tub walls because of stray hairs. This cleaning staff went above and beyond on their cleaning; it was very nice for a change. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We didn’t anticipate staying two different nights, but do to surgical complications, we stayed two nights (Thursday and Saturday), in two different rooms and both were very clean. We checked in on Saturday fairly early in efforts to recoup from surgery. The bed was a bit tall for a recoup from a hip surgery but we made it. It was nice that the hotel made accommodations for a room close to the front door and ice machine for the ice packs we needed. The hotel offered a complimentary breakfast: muffins, breakfast biscuits, yogurt, breakfast bars, juices and coffee. The hotel offered a medical rate that was $69 per night. That was more economical than the other hotels around. Great price for room. The hotel is located on Keene Road which is basically a fairly large medical drive. It was a five minute drive from the hotel to the Columbia Orthopaedic Group and Surgery Center. There is Sams, Walmart, Mod Pizza, Lil Caesar’s, Sonic, Slim Pickens, Chilis and multiple other restaurants and sufficient shopping very close. There was one area at this hotel that was not attractive in the least. I don’t mean to be disrespectful in the least, but it, in exchange was incredibly offensive to me. The female, reception assistant was not dressed business like at all — ie top of her stockings were left to show just under the bottom of her mini skirt, distasteful leather clothing that was extremely tight and stiletto heels (what I call hooker heels) that was not tasteful for such an establishment. There were many heads shaking and eyes rolling in disbelief the morning I was picking up a few breakfast items; from both the men and women patrons. Her presence did not affect my stay (so to speak) so I am only deducting 1 star due to the owners/manager allowing such provocativeness.

My Husband I and I travelled to Columbia Missouri for our Son's K9 Metal of Honor award presented to him through the University of Missouri. We only had a few weeks notice of this event and my Husband found Stoney Creek on line, as we live in VA. We got in late due to delays with flying, and when checking in we were informed the last King room had been taken. Since we had reserved this specifically, the very very sweet young lady upgraded us. We had the most amazing room! The hotel was already very cool and the nicest staff at any hotel we have ever stayed! If ever we were to visit Columbia again or be in any city where there is a Stoney Creek, we will most definitely chose to stay there! The accomodations, were some of the coziest I have experienced in recent years. Next time i would bring a bathing suit as the hot tub and pool area were also very neat! I can't say enough great things about this place!

We stayed here for 2 nights in August 2020 during my daughter's college move-in. We chose this hotel because we've stayed here before and had good experiences in the past. Unfortunately, this time was not as good our previous ones. I will say that the staff were all very helpful and tried very hard to make our stay a pleasant one, but a combination of lack of maintenance and lack of attention to cleanliness made this a less than positive experience. First off, the hotel seems woefully understaffed. We only saw one person running the front desk during the various times we were there, and they have completely stopped serving breakfast. The front desk area was relatively clean and all staff were wearing masks. Upon arrival, we were checked in quickly by a very nice desk clerk, and we proceeded to our room. Upon entering the room, we immediately noticed a "musty" smell somewhat reminiscent of mold or possibly old cigarette smoke. We then discovered an unemptied trash bag in the kitchen which had used personal items in it, which immediately grossed us out. And the coffee maker had dried coffee and coffee grounds still in it, and the warmer looked really nasty. The room also did not have a hairdryer, and the iron was broken, which was replaced later on during the stay. And unlike other competitive hotel chains (see my other reviews), Marriott did not have any posted cleanliness policy, nor any details on how the rooms are being cleaned and disinfected. As a result of the above, we spent about 30 minutes cleaning the room with wipes and sprays, and even then we felt uncomfortable during the rest of the stay. They also did not provide wrapped disposable cups for use so we had to wash the glasses in order to ensure they were clean. The room itself was reasonably spacious and had a full kitchen, which was nice, even though we were afraid to use the dishes without washing them first. In other areas, this hotel seems to have slipped as well. The lawn was really, really long and the provided pet relief area in the rear of the hotel was completely unlit. One nice feature of the room is that the TV allows you to sign in using your streaming service account (eg Netflix) and watch programming. Your ID is automatically cleared after you check out. The room we had was also located on the I-70 side of the hotel, which was very loud due to all of the cars and trucks going by. In the past we have been given rooms on the other side of the hotel, which were much better. There were also some strange people hanging out in the hotel parking lot pretty much every time we arrived and left. It did not make us feel very comfortable leaving our car near our room. In summary, I was very disappointed in our experience with the Residence Inn Columbia this time around, and we will most certainly not be staying there again. If your travel plans call for a visit to Columbia, I would highly recommend you look elsewhere for lodging.

As Oregonians coming to visit the in-laws in Columbia, we were extremely impressed with the Fairfield Inn in Columbia, MO! They were so gracious and kind when booking our reservation with short notice (Thanks to the manager Amy! She was SO AMAZING to us!) And had the most bomb continental breakfast. The omlettes were to die for, and the coffee was superb! My husband couldn't eat enough waffles, and the staff were all super friendly, especially Sam who totally took care of us. We are definitely going to be returning here for every trip. Likely for the coffee alone!

We travel on a budget. We have always liked Holiday Inn suites because they provide enough room for our family of five and breakfast for my three sons can eat up a budget really quickly. My wife booked our room under the assumption of free breakfast due to some advertisement they had listed turns out they gave me a $10 voucher and my wife a $10 voucher then you get a free children's entree with each adult entree. Unfortunately the menu items were all about $10 then drinks were extra(coffee was $2.50!!!). We really like Holiday Inn they are usually very clean and friendly but we may have to find an alternative if this becomes a trend.

I was traveling from Utah to Illinois to see my ailing elderly mother. The Covid 19 virus had just shut down many schools. My friend did a quick search for me when I was on the road. I called while driving (Bluetooth). So I call Wyndham. I asked them what their best rate was. They told me it was $60.00 with tax. "The rate on the internet was $12.00 cheaper". "Oh well the website isn't updated" I paused for a second, ok..."I would like to make a reservation". I start to give my information. We get to the credit card part of it. "I can't give you my credit card now, I am driving" She replied, "I will wait for you to pull over" she said. "I am in rural Kansas, this can take awhile". "I'll wait" "Only 3 rooms left!" Fine. Made the reservation. Then I was transferred to be given a 5 minute timeshare pitch. I get there, 3 cars in tbe lot, a tweaker running around the front door, and a hotel that needed many updates. A sign in the lot that informed me they were not responsible for my "lost or stolen" items and that I should remove allmy valuables. The front desk clerk, Jake could not have been more helpful and pleasant issuing me a refund. Someone offer Jake a job at a nicer place

Where to start with this hot mess? When we arrived, we were able to go straight to our room (thanks, MobileKey!), so I can't comment on the checkin process. We soon discovered, however, that there were a few things wrong with our room. First, my travel profile specifies high floor, away from elevators, and away from ice machines. We were in a room on the second floor right next to the elevator and ice machine. There was apparently a family of brontosaurus in the room above us, judging by the clomping noises we heard round the clock. Oh, they flushed the toilet a lot, too - and we knew, because we got to hear it, every time. I almost preferred the gentle whoosh of the toilet flushing to the "DING" outside the door every time the elevator stopped on the second floor. We also discovered that the desk lamp didn't have a light bulb (see photos, with apologies to Pixar). Even once we tracked one down (housekeeping wouldn't hand me one when I stopped by the laundry room, they had to deliver it to the room), the lamp didn't work. That was a problem, since the room was pretty dark without it. At least the bathroom was bright - we all got to bask in the glow of the bathroom lights (through the frosted glass door, directly opposite the beds) every time one of us used the bathroom. The TV was mounted in such a way that it was visible from either the couch, or one of the beds, but not both (and never the second bed, unless you wanted to miss the left 1/4 of the screen). On our first morning, after waking with my head directly on the mattress, despite the fact that I was using one of the hotel's woefully inadequate pillows, I ventured down to breakfast, and even though the breakfast area was almost deserted, the buffet was bare. One of the other guests said that she had asked the attendant to restock, but that it had been some time. I found him and asked him to restock, and it took at least 15 minutes to bring out more food. When I cut into my sausage patty, it was still red (not pink, red) on the inside. Given that and the obvious food sanitation issues (see photos), I decided to stick with a toasted bagel. I had largely the same breakfast experience on our second morning. I only wish TripAdvisor would let me post a video, because I have a great one of me chiseling the brown sugar out of the container to try to use it on my oatmeal. And I don't know what the heck happened when the fixtures were installed in the bathroom, but who puts the tub spout off center? TL;DR: If you want a loud hotel with lousy pillows and lousier breakfast, stay here.

Hotel lobby was clean, staff super friendly, parking a breeze. Normally (albeit, I haven't been able to travel since Feb, maybe things have changed?) Honors status is acknowledged at check in, but nothing this time around. I would've thought, though, that after we had to come down to change rooms because there was what appeared to be a clump of freshly shaved hair in the shower, that perhaps some sort of acknowledgement of my status might be made, perhaps a genuine apology instead of a half-hearted one would take place? No such luck. Moved to a second room, by now we were running late so we dropped our stuff off and headed out. Got back to the room to discover a dirty hand towel hanging over the shower rod that we hadn't noticed when we first checked in. Called the front desk to let them know; got another barely half-hearted apology. No offer to refund points used to pay for the room, no extension of extra points to me, no offer for a breakfast voucher or something else to make up for it, nothing. Would be nice to have had some sort of offer extended my way in exchange for dealing with previous occupant's mess. If they missed these obvious things in cleaning the room, all I could think about is what not-so-obvious things did they miss as well that I just can't see?

We stopped at TownPlace Suites on a road trip south and were thrilled with the accommodations. The hotel staff were helpful over the phone about accepting pets and explained cleaning fees for non service animals. Ours were service animals so no fee for cleaning. I booked easily over the phone using my Marriott account number, so quick and simple as I was on a quick stop. Our room was clean and quiet. Everything was in perfect shape. For dog people - there is lots of exercise space for walking in the surrounding area Restaurant across from hotel is good, and only one at this exit right now. Area is under development, so this will most likely change soon

We have found the Candlewood Suites Columbia to be an ideal stopover for our 1360 mile two-day trip to visit the kids in Frederick, CO. The pooch travels with us, and I often stay at Candlewood Suites for my domestic business travel. It's conveniently located just north of I-70 with plenty of dining opportunities nearby, although we favor the Cracker Barrel for online ordering (and reasonable pricing) and it's just across the street. This is an extended stay facility and does not offer daily housekeeping although I believe it's available on a weekly basis. All suites have a full kitchen with a real coffeemaker, fullsize fridge with icemaker, dishes, cookware, and flatware. You can check out kitchen appliances, DVDs, and games, and there is a pantry with pay-as-you-go snacks and food items. We normally travel with a Playmate and food items for breakfast. Our most recent visit involved the unfortunate left-behind "overnight" bag with our bathroom kits and clothes changes from Day 1 of 2, which we did not discover we'd missed until we'd arrived home late Friday night. I called and spoke with Diedre and she called me back within 30 minutes to report they had found it. As it was Labor Day weekend and no manager on site until Tuesday, we had to wait until then to arrange for its shipment. Savannah was kind enough to determine the charges for us and personally delivered it to UPS on Wed. and it showed up today, although we had paid for basic ground and weren't expecting it until next week. The fact that we'd received it in two days was very much appreciated as I am traveling again on Sunday. Now we feel we have a personal relationship with the staff there, and are both looking forward to our next trip out to Colorado and see the gracious ladies at Candlewood Suites Columbia once again!

Thi is a very comfortable place to stay. Front desk staff wasn’t very friendly. Room amenities were quite nice. We have come to rely on Quality Inn when we travel. This location did not disappoint. It’s sad the COVID climate has closed some of the extra features. This hotel has a lot to offer.

The twin room is very good. The hotel is very close to the Elvis Presley Museum and his former residence, and the hotel has a free shuttle bus. If the time is tight, you can check out first, then go sightseeing. You have go to the visitor center first for sightseeing. The shortest time for sightseeing is 2.5 hours. It is a nice place.

I'll start with "The Good". The hotel is staffed with helpful and friendly folks. I had only to ask and folks made it happen; from extra coffee from the maid to the servers in the lobby restaurant. The gym was large and well equipped. The hotel van service was clean and ran on time. While we're on the subject of good, the dining was very good. The menu choices are quite amble to cover a wide variety of food choices. The "must try" hamburger was indeed noteworthy as juicy and flavorful. My server, Marguirita, was the best server I've had in memory. She was attentive without hovering and her smile and southern charm made the meal amazing. Now for the bad... The hotel is tired and a fresh coat of paint can't hide that. From old plumbing that drips in the sink and shower to hallway carpet that feels like it's been soaked in Dr. Pepper, major renovations need to be made. As for the ugly... Don't expect peaceful sleep here. If you have an odd numbered room, you'll hear the highway noises all night. The other side of the hotel is 50 yards from an old church that has bells that begin ringing sharply at 0800 and that takes a 'toll' on your sleep, especially if you hit the bed after midnight. For airline crews on the later flights, this is a hard 'no-go'. Sadly, there's little that can be done for either side of the hotel so it's doomed to a 'noise complaint' review no matter which room you get.

Not a relaxing quiet hotel. The noise from 11pm-3:00am is bothersome if your not partying with the rest of the hotel guests. Had to call front desk both nights because of noise.

I've been to this hotel 3 times over the last year. Every time I check in, I'm welcomed by the friendly staff. During my most current trip, I ordered room service for the first time. Yolanda took my order perfectly and Angel delivered my food perfectly - she went above and beyond during our transaction. The team here is so accommodating and does everything with a smile. I travel too much, but if I had a place I actually look forward to staying at, it is The Westin Beale Street. I'll be back.

My experience was great. The service was awesome. The room wasn’t the cleanest. The amenities on the bathroom sink looked to be reused. The lotion bottle was filthy, with what looked like food stains. They was what appeared to be a juice stain in the bathroom floor, and there was hair in the bathroom floor. Other than that everything else was good.

River Inn of Harbor Town was such a pleasant surprise in Memphis, TN. Instead of staying at The Peabody in downtown Memphis recommended by a few friends who have family in the city, I've chosen to stay in the River Inn of Harbor Town on Mud Island, five to 10 minutes by car from the busy Beale Street. I chose this boutique hotel with only 28 rooms housed in two different buildings because it's won the Conde Nast Traveler Reader's Choice Award as the number-one hotel of the South. From my research, I also liked the fact that Harbor Town is a safe, upscale new urbanist-style residential neighbourhood with younger, more affluent Memphians. From reading the reviews on Trip Advisor, I also liked the numerous positive reports of the hotel's geographical position facing the Mississippi River. My four-night stay at this tiny jewel hotel in the little oasis just outside the main business district downtown was such a delight! Voted by USA Today's 10Best.com as one of the 10 best places to travel to in the U.S., Harbor Town itself is a charming destination with joggers, dog walkers, and river watchers along the trails of the Mississippi River just across the street from the hotel I picked a room with a river view and was already charmed by the first night of sunset along the river banks. The hotel is enchanting with its old-world charm - a lobby with a fireplace, a vintage-style crystal chandelier, and hard-wood floors with rugs and paintings of trees along the river banks. I particularly liked the welcome champagne/wine hospitality and the roll-down service every night with a glass of port and chocolate truffle. Because it's a boutique hotel, there were only a few staff members who were all very friendly and helpful and I can remember them all by names. I would particularly like to thank Front Desk Manager Amy Nguyen who went above and beyond to make sure that my Lyft rides to and from Beale Street were safe. She offered me her cell phone number and asked me to share my route (a security measure on the Lyft app) with her even though she's already resting at home after her shift. She also texted me to make sure that I got back to the hotel safely. I did the same thing with her when I checked out and left for the airport. My standard Queen room was small but charming with a four-poster bed and a river view. The closet was big enough with a lot of hangars for my clothes for the four days. The shower pressure in the bath tub was strong with quality toiletries from Gilchrist and Soames from London, U.K. I usually like a kettle in my room for drinking hot water in the morning before breakfast and the hotel staff went above and beyond to get me one the first morning when I was there. The bathroom tiles and walls looked a bit tired and probably need a facelift of some sort. I would also have preferred the room floors to be wooden instead of carpets. But overall, I thought the room rate including breakfast was good value for money. I also liked the library-sty
