Fantastic hotel stay, centrally located in downtown Columbia, Missouri near shops, restaurants and bars. This is a boutique hotel all rooms are large and spacious. Hugh bathrooms, with soaking tub, large showers, and bath robes. The front desk staff, housekeeping and valet parking were excellent. Best views of downtown and campus. We were treated as VIP's every time we stay here we can't wait to come back. Glenn's Café in the hotel is excellent for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Highly recommend to our friends. Tip: Use their valet parking worth every penny. (March 2-5, 2023)

Wonderful location, accommodations, and amenities. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the restaurant and rooftop bar. The only thing we were hoping there was and there wasn’t, was a microwave in the rooms. Otherwise we had an incredible weekend and loved being so close to campus and all the action of homecoming on Broadway.

Went to a gymnastics camp with my daughter, hotel was less then 1/2 mile from venue. Very clean, very well taken care of. Will stay again next time visiting Columbia. Free breakfast and wi-fi. The Stadium Grill is there as well. Loved the toasted ravioli

After driving all night with my clydesdale-in-training (my 95 lb dog), I was able to find and checkin to this hotel at 8:30 AM and sleep undisturbed all day. The room was nicely laid out with a comfortable queen bed and great little work/eating corner. The front desk was friendly and very accommodating. She was able to secure a 1st level and clean room for me. Definitely a keeper.

Great central location, but very difficult to get to the motel from nearby roads. I went around the block quite a few times to find the entrance, each day! There is a deep pot hole spanning the entire width of the pavement to avoid every time. Room was big and clean. Breakfast is typical mid-American junk fare— cold cereals, bagels, bisquits and gravy. Sometimes it’s cheaper to get book with breakfast and just skip it. There are restaurants nearby. It’s a fine place, especially for the cost. Nothing embarrassing or foul here. Desk staff was friendly.

Pretty uneventful stay. Nothing outstanding, but the room was huge and the gym was decent (tv didn't work though— or maybe the just the remote). Breakfast very typical of this type— not much to eat for those on healthier regimes. I had eggs— that's it. A tour bus had stayed there and the food was often cleaned out quickly. Timing was everything, but the staff did all they could. This is my second review of this hotel. There was a funky smell in the room when the freezing AC was turned down. Once I was in bed I figured it out. It was dog, wet dog cologne. Just as bad as a smoking room. In the morning, picking up my shoes, there was dog hair all intertwined in the carpet. Smell confirmed. Upon my first review, I got an email from BW stating their generic concern at my review without stating my specific, but please stay with them again. I stay in hotels right now about ⅓-½ the year and BW has been a staple. This doesn't change my option that the chain is a decent value, but its disappointing that they couldn't even respond more specifically, not that I expected a response, but please don't pretend they care.

We found this hotel to be very clean, quiet, and had excellent customer service. The location was great for heading downtown for shopping and dinning. Presently it appeared that the parking lot was soon to be in the process of repairs. That being the case, it will certainly give the hotel a better outside appearance. We will be back.

We came for a baseball tournament in Columbia. The room had plenty of space for the kids to spread out and ”hang” out. We liked how the shower and bathroom were away from the bedroom and the bathroom sink outside of the closed bathroom door. They served awesome breakfast and the ladies working the breakfast went above and beyond making extras and requests from their guests. The staff at the desk were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. It may be a little dated, but it was clean and we felt safe! The AC worked great and there was free guest laundry which was an extra perk!

My wife and I visited Columbia for the first time recently to visit our son at Mizzou. We wanted something relatively close to the university. After checking lots of reviews, we settled on the Country Inn & Suites. We’ve had previous experiences with this brand before, and were very pleased with this one as well. What stood out- the location. It’s right off of the interstate which is very convenient, and it’s also about a ten minute drive to the university. Hop on the interstate and you're about 2 hours to St. Louis or 2 hours to Kansas City. You do get a little traffic noise from the interstate, but not enough to disrupt our sleep. As you turn in from the front, the hotel is located behind a Drury Inn so don’t let that confuse you. There’s a TGIFriday’s within a short walk as well. Cleanliness- Our room was very well kept, and the staff did an excellent job of cleaning both days. Security- Rooms use a key card to enter. The surrounding area seemed safe, and the parking lots were well lit. We stayed in a king studio suite, which was very spacious. I was so glad that we chose this option. Breakfast was good both days- biscuits and gravy, 2 waffle makers, 4 cereal options, yogurt, muffins, toast, bagels. Quite a few things from which to choose. All in all, we were thoroughly pleased with this stay. We will certainly stay here again the next time that we visit Columbia.

Don't expect Marriot standards. We did not have hot breakfast as we were supposed to, excuse was that staff did not show up. I understand that it is inconvenient but guests should not suffer the consequences. Plan B should be provided. We suspect that the reason is that only a few guests were spending the night there, so no effort was made. Rooms are OK. Shower is not what I expected. I only got warm water at the end, and it was only slightly hot. Also water did not come with enough pressure. Location is not the best either

Why is it the most expensive hotels are often the least desirable. This is a pet friendly hotel. I had to make my reservation through the national service. No direct hotel contact. Our room was comfy, but nothing to brag about. Shower was meh, water pressure was fair. Bathroom was clean but there were only two towels. This place is huge and we have two cats in carriers with luggage, litter pan, etc. We were placed on the first floor but the side entrance is difficult to get to so we had to use the front entrance. Carts are provided, but if you need one be sure to keep it in your room. Apparently that’s what everyone else does and when we left in the morning there were none available. So, four trips to the car carrying everything. We were worn out after traveling 9 hours and wanted sleep. Apparently this is a party hotel because between 10pm and 11 pm, a group of teenage girls were running up and down the halls, slamming doors and talking loudly. Every time I would get up to open the door to say something, it would get quiet. Then, five minutes later, they’d start up again. The room walls are fairly thin. I could hear people next door coughing. No breakfast provided. At $232 a night, I expected more. They have a $50 pet fee. That’s ridiculous. I could have stayed at a cheap hotel, paid less and had a better experience. I’ll cross them off my list for next year. I’m sure there are better places. The staff was pleasant, and the morning desk clerk was apologetic for not having carts. Not his fault.

Not only did the hotel manage to get me a room last minute they did it with a smile! Most professional and upbeat experience I’ve had at a hotel. Rooms were clean and quiet, my kids had a blast at the pool and the staff went above and beyond at the buffet the next day. Would recommend to anyone and can not wait to come back.

I have booked at this Hampton Inn once before. As was the case last time, the hotel was extremely clean, very quiet, and very convenient for travelers along I-70 like myself. There is some amount of noise from the interstate, though you can ask for a room on the other side of the hotel to help limit this. The staff were very friendly, professional, and responsive when I called or had questions. The breakfast was very well done. Even though they didn't have one or two items I would have liked, there were plenty of options to choose from. The staff member overseeing the breakfast area (who I recognized from my last visit) was very friendly and did an excellent job at keeping the area well stocked and clean. Overall, this hotel is clearly very well managed. I will continue to book here and would recommend it to anyone else planning to visit Columbia.

They say this is the biggest hotel in Columbia and they should surely add the best hotel in Columbia, too. It really is fabulous — starting with the Hilton VIP treatment from Dwight on the Front Desk who worked with us on our arrival time to get us the most perfect room. That was also thanks to Lois and Cynthia, with whom we corresponded in making our reservation weeks earlier. The room was the Parlor Suite, which was massive with a wet-bar, jacuzzi tub, separate shower, even an extra half-toilet. The windows do not open but the view from the 4th/top floor was breathtaking. Housekeeping could not have been friendlier, happy to provide you with whatever extras you needed. There was complimentary coffee in the lobby and the famous HGI breakfast is $15.95 per guest (Diamond members are given a $20 credit toward this). A very enjoyable stay — made memorable by Hilton hospitality experts like Dwight, Lois and Cynthia.

If i was reviewing the room alone, I would give this review 4 or 5 stars. It was clean, albeit lame cable tv selections. But here are my issues and for a relatively new hotel, disappointing. A series a large potholes are found in the back parking lots. Winter is over, fix your damn holes! Also, I was only at the hotel for 3 days and there was no conditioner or shampoo in the dispensers in the bathroom. Lastly, they should just do away with the breakfast in the am. It is nothing but the worst of extreme carbohydrates, which no guest needs.
