0.4km from A BarberiaWe had four nights in this hotel, which has a superb location in the heart of the modern city. The train station is less than 2km away and you can walk to the old part of the city in less than ten minutes. Our room happened to have a window and balcony, with pleasant views of the city and surrounding hills. The rooms are basic, though the bathrooms have been recently renovated, with both the traditional hand held shower head and a monsoon shower head. The TV is small, with a limited selection of channels. The bed was comfortable, there was plenty of storage space. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is an attached cafe where you can get the simple breakfast for 2.20 euros, a coffee and wide selection of tasty sandwiches/tortilla/pastry/etc. One minor weakness is the elevator, which can carry up to four people, but not if they are fat or have much luggage. At times we had to wait a while for it. There is a taxi rank less than 20 meters from the hotel, a ride to the train station is about 5 euros.

0.54km from A BarberiaWe were here on May 9th. It must be said that Manuel, the Manager is pure Executive material. He is professional, informative and kind. A credit to the Barcelo team, and staff. We stayed in a duplex suite, and it was wonderful. I cannot emphasize the quality of service, the comfort of the room, and the amenities and location of the Hotel..As a frequent traveller and Trip Advisor critic I give this Hotel FIVE STARS.

5.11km from A BarberiaI visited Ourense with my family for a competition, and we spent the night at this hotel before the race day. The staff was very warm and welcoming, and they accommodated all of our needs, since we wanted a bedroom for 3 people. The room was nice and clean, and the location makes it perfect for a quiet and relaxing trip.

The website for this hotel over-promises and under-delivers. There are long wordy descriptions on the site of the culinary delights that it offers including local specialities. This is largely a work of fiction. We couldn’t even get scrambled eggs for breakfast. In fact getting a pot of tea took several attempts from the somewhat disinterested staff member. The reception staff also need to remember that their chosen industry is called ‘hospitality’ for a reason. Decidedly cool on our arrival. Spanish hotel operators need to realize that it’s not acceptable to undertake noisy construction work on some floors of their hotels while the other floors are belong let at full rate. The Princess is no exception. As I write this review at 1800hrs, there is hammering and drilling in the room below. No apologies or concessions offered. Parts of Ourense are interesting to visit but as a city it’s pretty dull.
Lived very well, the hotel thought very subtle.

Very luxurious hotel, amazing feeling, service industry is also very good, very close to the beach, the surrounding is very lively, just because of the time relationship only stayed for one night, have the opportunity to want to go later.
There is a sofa bed in the hotel room. Those with children can ask the hotel to prop up the bed. However, there is an additional charge for children over three years old. Parents with children should ask in advance. The hotel is some distance away from the most noted Shell Bay, about 20 minutes on foot. The hotel’s breakfast was average, and it was the same for two days.
I will book this hotel again next time! The service is very good and comfortable.
The location was a bit far from the old town where all the pinxtos bars are located but was located on a hill on a quieter part of town. Was nice to see a little bit less touristy area of San Sebastián. The facilities are great. The service is great. Would stay here again.
Located on the outskirts of San Sebastian, the hotel is very quiet. On the back side of the building is a forest. In the morning, you can enjoy nature on the outdoor terrace with breakfast. Although there is a certain distance from the city, the traffic is very convenient, and the bus at the entrance leads to the downtown tourist area and the bus/train station. Arima's design style is very simple, the main environmental protection, but the spare parts including slippers and toothbrushes are directly provided in the room, and the quality is good. Although the room size is not large, the layout is reasonable. The shower, bath and toilet are completely separate, which is rare in European hotels of the same class. The curtains are all electrically controlled, adding some sense of technology. The hotel service level is good, the front desk is very welcoming and try to solve some small problems I have encountered (not the hotel fault). Perhaps the breakfast time is too busy, the restaurant staff is average. Room service is very fast, and everything you need is basically a second. Overall, the hotel is very cost-effective, very recommended ~
The hotel is on the mountainside, it is convenient to arrive by car. You should also drive to the attractions. The general room type has a bad view, so you have to buy the most expensive one. Unfortunately, there is no hint in the description. Breakfast is relatively simple. The seasonal factors of house prices vary greatly by 500-900.
We stayed with a young baby. The staff were so friendly. The rooms were beautifully cleaned. This is a boutique hotel managed and run by people who really care about their customers. The breakfast is terrific too in a beautiful room with great attention to detail. The lady who looks after you at breakfast is exceptional. We had a misunderstanding on our bill having arrived a day late and left a day late. The manager was very fair and handled it very well without charging us for what could have been an additional night. Very professional. We would highly recommend the Villa Soro. This is how to run a family business. First class.
The hotel is surrounded by a superb environment and is located in a small forest park in the middle of the mountain with an open-air car park. The hotel environment is ok, relatively clean. The bed is a bunk bed, you need to shop yourself, check out and bring the sheets to the lobby for your return.
Walking seven or eight minutes from the beach, not in the old town, there is a fruit shop supermarket around, relatively quiet, slippers are needed, the room size can also
Stayed three nights. Booked it as it was the cheapest hotel on the seafront. The good: Nice period property, fabulous old lift (elevator), clean room, comfortable bed and aircon wasn't too noisy. Pleasant & friendly staff. Car parking worked well. The Bad: Compact room (not seaview - not expected as didn't pay for it), very compact bathroom, no hot water in the shower one evening, Noisy. Others have mentioned this and we experienced noise from above (had a heard of elephants moved in?), from outside (the quaint old lift was not engineered to be silent) and, worst, from the bathroom of the room above. When they flushed the toilet - boy we knew about it! So, it was adequate. The Hotel Ingles (next cheapest seafront hotel) was about another £40+ per night and we did wonder whether it would have been worth it. We concluded probably not as we don't spend that much time in the room itself. It depends what you want from a hotel.
The location was near to the train station. There were a couple of reception counters, which might be a little hard for travelers to know which one is for their booking. But the staffs were kind to let you know how to get to the other reception counters.
The hotel is right in the heart of the city and you can reach all the sights in a small and exquisite city like San Sebastian. It takes only five minutes to walk to the coach terminal.
I could write about the beauty of the interior designs, about the optimal treatment received, the unmatched terrace with its wonderful cocktail bar, or about the exceptional gastronomy offered on the ground floor restaurant, host of the only Michelin Star found in La Concha... but all this is outshone by the hotel room as you walk into it. As you walk through the doors you will literally be blown away by what you'll see. Your stunning room is hovering over the bay. A massive window that covers the whole wall will make you forget about everything, float over the sea and admire the indescribable charm of Spain's most beautiful bay. Laid in bed you will relish the scenery that will make it difficult for you to get up, and that you'll be able to continue gaze at as you shower. Your stay at Villa Favorita will give you the beauty of the Belle Epoque while having the 21st Century commodities. The few rooms with the exclusivity and the remarkable staff treatment, succeed at making you feel like a guest of one the magnificent villas that once graced La Concha. Villa Favorita, the last of these villas, rises from its ashes to make you dream of a time, exclusivity, and mannerism which nowadays are harder to find; a feeling that is hard not to define as absolute happiness.
Roommate Gorka was the best location for exploring San Sebastian. It's a quick walk to Parte Vieja for pinchos and walkable from the train station so no dragging your suitcase for miles. The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was really comfortable and relaxing. I also appreciated that they have a hot water heater for non-coffee drinkers. I would recommend this hotel for couples as the bathroom is designed like a stall and only have swinging glass doors that don't muffle any sounds.
The hotel is a little far from the old town. It takes about fifteen minutes to walk. The design style is a bit of American industrial style, but the windows of the room are too high. It is just a decoration. It can't be ventilated. The perfume smell of the room is a bit heavy. Overall, this hotel not bad
This hotel is located out of town with a bus stop nearby, the bus costs 1.80 euros and a tax to town or technology park costs 10 euros. There was a spacious room, beds were lovely, big and soft, with toiletries included and a bottle of water provided. There is an amazing bakery and supermarket that is 2 minute walk away, but the breakfast is fabulous with a variety of different meats, cheese, Spanish omelette and wonderfully cooked eggs.If you want to unwind, there is a rooftop terrace, sun beds and jacuzzi, plus a room for exercise if you spent walking around the city and climbing hills. It is an amazing hotel, highly recommend it. I had to leave early two weeks ago and they provided me a breakfast picnic since breakfast was not open and I had to leave around 7am. The receptionists were understanding and excellent at their best. I do not think I had a problem. They go beyond the minimum requirements for their customer.
It was my myself and my wife’s second visit to San Sebastián but our first stay at this amazing hotel, the SANSEbay is in the most perfect location just above the port and with the whole of parte viejas pintxos bars just round the corner, on arrival we were greeted by two beaming smiles on the two girls at reception we were offered a drink as we checked in and then a guided tour of our apartment and everything in it, I cannot rate this hotel higher we have stayed in great hotels all over the world but have never received the service we received at this hotel, from popping down for a great breakfast in the small cafe to the cleanliness of the boutique rooms and apartment to every piece of advice and help we were given by all the staff, if you are looking for a reasonably priced, perfect location, amazing service, clean hotel then look no further than the SANSEbay hotel, we loved it and San Sebastián so much we re booked for October this year the moment we returned home, thank you everyone at the hotel for making our 4 days the best. Paul and Amanda Harris
Once again we enjoyed our trip to San Sebastian at the Amara Plaza hotel and took advantage of their New Year's Eve Gala. Both the hotel and the Gala were up to their usual standard and we enjoyed the atmosphere and the food, as well as, of course the drink. This hotel is a little out of town but for us oldies the bus just outside the hotel takes you right into the centre. Being New Year we benefited from the big wheel which gave us a beautiful view over the beaches. One of the things we find outstanding in this hotel is the breakfast display. The buffet includes everything you may want (except porridge). The breakfasts outshine their restaurant food by far. We were not so impressed with the restaurant menu but that may have been because it was the first and second of January. All in all a pleasant stay ..... you get what you pay for.
