A friend and I were cycling through Belgium and spent a night at Hotel 't Sandt in Antwerp. The location is amazing, close to the Museum aan de Strom, Brabo's monument, and some of the best restaurants in the city. (Get a reservation for wild project, even if you aren't vegan it's incredible, and it's just around the corner.) The building itself has tremendous character, from the wood floors in the hallway, to the unique and comfortable rooms, and the lovely garden in the center where we ate an amazing breakfast with fresh fruit, baked goods, eggs, cheeses, smoked salmon, and prosciutto. The room was immaculate and comfortable. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and welcoming. The owners offered us a safe place to store our bicycles in the parking garage. I would recommend this hotel to friends, and I will definitely stay there again on an overnight trip to Antwerp.

My wife and I stayed at this business hotel for 6 nights. It is a very nice, immaculate hotel located in the heart of the Antwerp old town, meaning walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. It's also only a 5 minutes walk from the underground tram station. Room (5) is clean, spacious and bright. Internet is fast. Service is top-notch and professional. My wife and I feel so welcomed by the hospitality. Entering the premises and room is by passcode, so no worry about the key. I can only say good things about this hotel. I highly recommend it.

We had a lovely welcome and a beer when we arrived. Our room was good but clearly there were several maintenance issues that needed seeing to. Plaster in the bathroom was loose on the shower tray surround, the tap on the sink was loose, a socket was loose in the bedroom. Perhaps a rug on the floor would have made the room more welcoming, and larger towels in the bathroom - we should have said before but there was a mosquito which feasted on me! Probably attracted by the pigeons outside. But we were happy to use the hotel as a base for the weekend - it was warm and the bed was comfortable and the water hot. Breakfast was super with a variety of food and fruit - even cake. Reception staff were unfailingly welcoming and friendly. We would be pleased to return to Hotel Matelot.

There is no safe and there is no front desk with only the first floor of the homeowner's office. A small apartment with only five or six rooms can also be marked with five stars.

We had a night to spend in Antwerp and are so glad that we chose Hotel Colvenier over the other standard hotels. This place was unbelievably charming! It’s actually a 4-room hotel attached to a famous (and amazing) restaurant, with a huge (and equally amazing) wine cellar in the lower level. The proprietor, Patrick, is the chef and owner of the restaurant, and was the epitome of what you want in a host. The property is more like a sophisticated bed & breakfast; rooms are spacious and the size of an apartment, with kitchen and living/dining area. It’s quiet and comfortable, but an easy walk to everything you want to do in central Antwerp. We did a little aperitif wine tasting before heading into town for dinner — do not miss this! The wine cellar is mind-blowing, with a massive selection of all sorts of terrific wines and dozens of little candlelit cave-like rooms to wander through. We ate lunch at the restaurant the next day, and it was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. There is no menu; Patrick chats with you beforehand to quiz you on likes, dislikes, allergies, etc, and then creates a multi-course meal based on your input. It’s all creative but approachable, and everything was fresh and seasonal. Can’t recommend this place highly enough! It’s worth a stay in Antwerp for this place alone.

We stayed here for two nights and booked room #5 with a great view of the Schelde river. The furniture was modern and appeared quite new. The bed was very comfy and we slept soundly, because the windows keep most of the street noise away. Sometimes you could hear other guests arriving or leaving, which was the only downside we experienced. The whole bathroom has glass doors/windows so you can enjoy the view while showering. The receptionists were both very friendly and helpful, but they are only present at fixed times. But you can always call, if you need assistance. It's a 20 minute-walk from the train station and about 10 minutes to the shopping district. Nice cafés and restaurants are only a couple of minutes away. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is a 20-minute walk from Antwerp Train Station, passing through a bustling shopping street similar to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street. There is a Carrefour in the mall next to the hotel, which is convenient for shopping. The hotel is in a good location and the main attractions are within walking distance. There is a staff at the front desk who can speak Chinese. Although the hotel opened earlier, the room is well maintained, the area is large, very clean, the room is clean and timely, and the slippers need to be with them.

Stayed for 3 nights with my husband. check-in was smooth and luckily, our suite was ready when we arrived. We had booked Suite 1 - based recommendation from staff as we wanted a quiet room. The suite is just stunning. High ceilings, dramatic colors and we loved the fireplace - and it was indeed very quiet. The overall decor is beautiful - not something I would have at home, but it works here. It is opulent and a bit over the top, but the touch and look of the materials is high quality. We had one issue with the room - there is no shower, only a bathtub. Of course, there is a hand shower fixed to the bathtub, but the cord is not long enough to stand up to shower (and then you would have to hold it in one hand). When coming home late afternoon and then getting ready to go out, it was inconvenient not to be able to take a quick shower. we had breakfast included - it was good and well presented, nothing fancy, but the dining room is lovely, the eggs were perfect and the staff warm and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here when in Antwerp - the location is great, the staff is excellent, the decor is stunning, our suite was a lovely place to relax after sightseeing in the city. I will be back (but will go for a suite with a shower next time).

The view once your higher than the 5th floor was amazing seeing the juxtaposed roof tops and the older cathedral temples nearby. Staff was very friendly and helpful it's also close to the train station if you plan to travel to other locations in Europe. I would suggest this hotel to others anyday.

The renovations on this Hotel are impressive! You can easily see that the owner is an interior architect with good taste! I love how each room has a different design of the bathroom and how the spa feeling is represented by placing the tub central in the room. So many details and playfulness with the light coming in from the windows. The restaurant is a huge upgrade from what is was before. You can feel the love of the owners for hospitality in every single detail! Fun and tasty food and great atmosphere!

We had the compact room with balcony. It was indeed compact, especially the bathroom, which had no door (if you like privacy). However, the bed was really comfortable, the shower was great and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a drink. There must have been a view of the dock once, but there is new apartment block in the way. Wifi worked perfectly and was free. TV with a good range of channels including the BBC. It was fine for a night or two. Reception was really friendly and there is an "honesty" bar, with fridges filled with wine, beer and soft drinks where you just let them know what you have consumed. Cosy lounge area. Breakfast was good, with a waffle maker, fresh juice and a selection of hot and cold items. I imagine it can get very busy at peak times though. Lots of places to eat and drink in the vicinity and the Red Star museum is about 10 mins walk. We parked easily enough across the road though you need to pay by SMS or app - no cash options. I would stay there again.

We recently stayed in a family room at this hotel but it does have problems. The hotel itself is a building site and it’s right in the middle of a huge building site. When it’s all completed it should be lovely but should they allow guests to stay there now, I don’t think so. There is a lot of noise from about 7am in the morning and through the day. The room was quite large but the bathroom was very small you couldn’t swing a cat in there. I bent down to wipe after a shower and hit my head on a sharp corner of the wall. The beds have a wooden base that sticks out and the edge is sharp all 3 of us staying in the room caught our legs on it, needs to be sorted. There is a good quality tv in the room but no coffee or tea facilities, if you want a coffee or tea 1st thing in the morning you have to dress and go down to reception for it but it is all free. The hotel is in a good position just a few minutes from bars, restaurants and a supermarket. The tram which is number 4 is only 10 minutes walk away and takes you right in to the city. There are a number of good bars and restaurants but the one which we liked was Wins, Thai fusion food, great service and the food was superb, best red Thai curry I’ve ever had. Would we stay here again, yes if the work on it was completed.

I stayed at Maison Emile for 2 nights. On arrival we were warmly welcomed. Not only were we given a summary of the hotel services, but we were provided with a detailed list of attractions and advice on where to eat and where to avoid, all plotted on a map. The hotel is small but nicely appointed. My room was small, but had everything I needed. . We only saw two members of staff, who may have been the proprietors during the whole visit, but the whole place seemed to run very efficiently, with a personal touch. The continental breakfast was served buffet style and was very nice. Eggs/omlettes were also available on request. The hotel operated an honesty bar. We had no trouble parking on the street outside the hotel. The area around the hotel is well provided with bars in restaurants and within walking distance of the town centre. There are also trams and buses.

We decided to go to Antwerp for the weekend, after months of being home bound due to covid measures. We choose NH based on the pictures and reviews. The hotel is decorated stylishly and most of the staff was polite. It is conveniently located opposite the central station and close to restaurants & shops. The breakfast buffet offered variety and it was scrumptious. The downside to our stay is that despite our numerous requests, our room was never cleaned in the 2 days we were there, no flowers or refills of bottled water/ hotel toiletries. Overall our stay was okay, however overly priced for the service we got.

Stayed at this apartment/ hotel for 2 nights with 2 other couples . Decided to stay in an apartment style accommodation instead of a hotel and was pleasantly surprised by the standard of the rooms and the service provided . The hosts greeted us at the agreed check in time. Told us that they were only a phone call away if we needed them and the bar and kitchen was available for us to use whenever we wanted . The following morning the hosts provided us with a varied and delicious breakfast at the time we booked . Nothing was too much trouble for them. We was even allowed to check in and check out at the times that suited us, which once again was a nice change from the hotel concept . If in Antwerp again I would definitely stay here again.

I often go to Antwerp. It's my third time that I stay at Au Lit Jerome, and I have to say I love every bit of it. The style, the intimacy and the delicious breakfast, which the owners prepare for you on the spot. The rooms are spacious and make you feel in your own oasis of peace, which, if you go for work like me, is an added bonus. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

advantage: 1. Excellent location, across the road from Antwerp Central Railway Station, Europe's most beautiful, a 3-minute walk. 2. It is also more than 20 minutes walk to the main square, city hall, and Stern Castle. There are many restaurants along the way. 3. Luggage can be stored for free before the check-in time. 4. There is an elevator, and luggage is easy to get on and off; 5. The restaurant can see the train station, which is very beautiful. Breakfast Western style is fine, the fruit is very fresh. Disadvantages: 1. The hotel downstairs is the world-famous Diamond Street and some Indian and Pakistani people.

Just back from a weekend stay with my partner at these suites. I could not recommend this place enough. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by such a lovely hostess. She brought us to our room and organised what time to have our breakfast delivered to our room the following morning. The room was fantastic, I don't think pictures do it justice! The bed was so comfortable, the Philips coloured lighting system is such a nice touch and the jacuzzi bath was a luxury after a day of exploring Antwerp. I also loved the decor of the room. Breakfast arrived to our room exactly for the time we requested, the breakfast was delicious with such a variety of food. We really enjoyed our stay at Feek Suites, I would highly recommend and will definitely be returning in the near future. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

The Hotel Julien was an excellent choice for our long weekend in Antwerp. This is a very smart and stylish boutique hotel in a fantastic location close to the cathedral. Our ‘Julien Dreamer’ room was lovely and beautifully decorated. As it overlooked an inner courtyard it was quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very smart with lovely Aesop cosmetics. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning. There was an excellent selection of cold items plus hot dishes that were cooked to order. No problem in getting a lovely de-caf latte to go with it! On our first evening we had cocktails in the lounge which was a great, relaxing start to our visit. The staff were excellent and were very helpful in providing the local information that we asked for. This is an excellent hotel and we would have no hesitation in staying again if visiting Antwerp.

The location of the hotel is very easy to find. It can be seen from the west gate of the Central Railway Station. The front desk is on the first floor. The staff is very welcoming. The room is small but clean and there is a kettle. Breakfast is included in every room. It starts at 6:30 and is very rich. Antwerp is not large, the main attractions can be reached on foot, and the hotel is surrounded by diamond shops, which can't be walked. By the way, the train was astounded by Antwerp Railway Station. So, ...pretty wonderful right? Yes, it is. From the welcoming part until the end of my stay, everything just feels right. Arriving, being welcomed by the warm-hearted Bart & Eva, settling in into your music-themed-inspired-spacy room, enjoying a Rock Lobster session, having a late evening inspiring chat with Bart...enjoying an exquisite and rich breakfast... the whole concept just works. I can write more about the beds, the location, the rooms, the hosts, the breakfast, the music that holds the building/rooms into its grasp... but nothing i write can / will convince anyone (nor it should)... you just have to explore & experience it by yourself. So, go for it! If you're looking for a great place to stay in Antwerp, this is it... Try it out...you won't regret it. Period.

Originally prepared to stay for one night, but basically all the stores on Sunday did not open the door, and added a night to stay until Monday check out. The funny thing is that the same room was booked twice in two consecutive times, because it was booked separately, and it was necessary to check Checkin again the next morning. The location is not very good, come from the train station or drag the suitcase to take Tram, or take a taxi. But the distance is too close, Taxi drivers generally refuse to load. I just can't get a car, dragged my luggage and took a tram. There is no Uber in this place. However, it is quite convenient to go shopping, and walk within a quarter of a clock. Hotel front desk service is general, I feel a little impatient. There is a Japanese restaurant in the right rear.
