Just returned home after a wonderful holiday in beautiful Sirmione, Lake Garda. Sirmione is often referred to as the jewel of Lake Garda and rightly deserves that title. The old town is full of history and is so atmospheric. We stayed in a small hotel within the old town called Corte Regina, which is ideally located very close to the castle and main church. The owners of the hotel Carlos and Christina are two of the friendliest hosts I have ever met and they made our stay so memorable. They are so helpful and kind with a genuine wish to make your stay such a pleasure. The breakfasts were buffet style with a great selection, which we looked forward to every morning. Mirianne, the lady that cleaned our room each day was also so friendly with a beaming smile whenever we saw her. She was so efficient in cleaning our room whist we ate breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel in beautiful Sirione. Thank you Carlos and Christina for your kind hospitality.

Location in the old Sirmione (free from cars) and near Aquaria Terme, very useful when you leave after spending the day at the spa and do not want to walk too much on foot. We see that the hotel has been renovated again.Very intimate. Really helpful and nice staff. With elevator. Very good breakfast (included in the price of the room) with fresh cakes and freshly made omelettes, but I do not recommend the coffee or cappuccino (improvable machine). We also appreciated the vouchers for free tickets to the Castle and the 'Grotte di Catullo'.

tl;dr: the place is perfect, the owners are fantastic, just book it already. Really, I can't praise this place, or the owners enough. From the time of booking, Marta was kind and helped us with options and suggestions. The communication was prompt at all times, and Marta kindly provided us recommendations for parking, places to eat, etc. On arrival day I realised I accidentally made the booking one day off! I told Marta, who was extremely understanding of it. She instantly got to work to help us, and before we had even left the airport she had found a solution: she upgraded us to the penthouse for the first day (pics taken from the balcony). There's a video on the website for how to get to the guest house, and it's also easy to find on Google maps. The keys are ready in a safe box by the door, and the guys gave us clear instructions for check in. In the building reception there's a little honesty market, maps of Sirmione, discount vouchers for many shops and even the Aquaria thermae! As well as candies, and many perfume bottles and sunscreen available to use for free. A truly lovely a thoughtful idea! There are modern frescoes and decor on all the building walls, from the stairs to each of the rooms, super cute. The room is spacious, with AC, a fridge, and plenty of power outlets. Still, all the amenities and the qualities of the guest house and the location pale in comparison to the hospitality that Marta and her boyfriend showed us. Truly welcoming people, they were a joy to interact with and made us feel special and at home from the getgo. I would 100% stay here again if I'm back in Sirmione and will recommend Meuble Adriana to everyone!

Decided on a last minute weekend, and selected the hotel mainly for the location and reviews. Had a nice room in the annex, bed was very comfortable, although the pillow was a little too hard for my liking.Bathroom was nice, large and well heated. with a very roomy shower. Unfortunately the way the hotel is designed, there are probably only 1 or 2 rooms per floor with a view of the lake even though the hotel is on the bank, most rooms look across the street to the next hotel. If coming by car, you need to have the hotel organize parking for you at about 800m from the hotel, there is a functional shuttle service to and from parking. Breakfast was very good, alot of fresh fruit, yogurts, eggs, bacon, pastries etc.

Lovely little gem in the heart of Sirmiones old town (centro storico). You are right in the middle of it, but the place is still very quiet. The rooms are very spacious (we had 2 bathrooms for 2 persons!). Cristiano is a wonderful host who will help in every possible way. We followed his advice and booked Grifo Parking for our car. 15€ per day sounds expensive at first glance but you and your luggage get a free ride to the hotel and the parking is guarded! Staying at Luxury Suites Sirmione was the best decision for us and we will definitely come back. Gracie mille, Cristiano

First of all, the location can’t get any better. The hotel is located only meters from the entrance to the historic city and has its own parking lot. So you are within minutes in the city but you don’t have to drive through the crowds in the traffic restricted city which is time consuming and quite annoying. Furthermore, the terrace and deck is directly at the lake so you enjoy your breakfast looking into the rising sun. The pool is thermal water (35degrees) and it is not really for swimming but relaxing. Swimming is supposed to be done in the lake and you can jump directly from your deck chair into the lake. The rooms are clean and of a size which is acceptable. Balconies are tiny. Unfortunately, there is some generator or ventilator for the pool running during the day which is very loud. So we highly recommend rooms in the northern part of the hotel. When we asked for a room change for that reason the staff was very professional and helpful. Within half a day we had a new room which was perfect. With COVID-19 rules applying, the breakfast buffet is rather small and everything has to be handed over by staff which can lead to longer waiting time. What is completely ridiculous for a 5-star hotel is the fact, that you have to pay extra for e.g. a ham and cheese omelette(10 Euros!). The parking lot is full of 100k+ cars and nobody would mind to pay 50 Euros extra for the room but does not see a price list for breakfast items! Can’t really understand the rational for this. Prices at the bar are reasonable and not only once we enjoyed some tasty sundowners. Overall, the staff is friendly and everything is super clean. Disinfection is taking place constantly which made us feel very comfortable. As we have also been staying in Villa Cortine Palace, the second 5-star hotel in the city, we can compare it and would come to the Grand hotel again. Main reasons: better location, direct access to the lake without walking down the hill, rooms more modern.

The main hotel area is clean with a nice design. It is easy walking distance to the main town. We visited the spa one evening which was clean had plenty of options. Even if you are staying at the hotel you must pay €20 each to enter the spa. Breakfast was nice with lots of option but doesn’t open until 7.30, so may be worth speaking to reception if you have an early start. We had dinner one evening which was pleasant and the food was nice, but be warned, this is gourmet food. If you are looking for something filling and reasonably priced, go into town. In February it is out of season so you’re best to eat early. On arrival we were offered a free upgrade for our second night which was a pleasant surprise. The check in staff were very helpful and polite. Had we have not received the upgrade we would have complained as our first room was very small, outdated and not as advertised (room 130). Our second room (245), however, was perfect. Unfortunately, our stay was ruined by the poor customer service which we received at check out. It hadn’t been made clear to us that checkout was 7.30 - 10.30pm, you are expected to either find it in the hotel literature or the small sign on front desk. Naturally when you check in you’re tired from travelling, so this should be made more clear. We happened to be found at front desk by a gentleman who shook his head when we explained we hadn’t checked out the night before as it wasn’t made clear to us. We were told we should have read the sign. He implied there was no way for us to settle our bill and made it clear he didn’t believe we would pay over the telephone. He was, however, able to take our payment there and then anyway. There was some confusion as to which day we had eaten in the restaurant (it was 6.30 am and we had had a very long day in Venice the day before), which ultimately resulted in an argument because he thought we were lying. It should be remembered that your last impression is just as important as your first.

Hotel We stayed in the Ocelle for 5 nights and it didn’t disappoint. We also booked a junior suite which was a decent size, modern decor and had a great, powerful shower. The balcony had great views of the lake however only if you stood up as there were plants blocking the lake view if you sat down in the loungers. The hotel has its own private access a beach too which was lovely but very difficult to get in and out of as it’s really stoney. Location The hotel is very central, nearest decent restaurant is a 5 mins walk away. We ate in the Erica, which was very good and the Barracuda, which was pretty disappointing, but both close by (first two hotels as you turn right out of the hotel). If you continue walking for no more than 10 mins you’re in the old Sirmione and there are an abundance of good restaurants; Marghe being one my favourites. Staff The staff are all lovely and can’t do enough for you. Alessandro at the lunch area/bar always has a smile on his face, is so pleasant and can’t do enough for you, just like all the staff at the hotel. Cleanliness Everywhere was absolutely immaculate, nothing more to say! Pools The pools are lovely and well maintained. They’re small but I managed to get a swim in every day. There’s also a thermal pool but with temps at 27+ I didn’t go in and stuck to the cold pools. A little room for improvement My only grumbles is the air con in the rooms and the lunch options at the hotel. Air con - The air con in the room isn’t great and no matter what temperature you set it to, it’s still not as cold as it states says it should be on the digital panel. I struggled to sleep through the night a few times as I woke up too hot. Lunch options - if you like fish and salad, you’ll be fine but if you’re a little fussier, the lunch choices are a little limited. We got the lasagne and it was delicious priced at €12. Also had the Chicken Caesar Salad, which was ok although not a lot of eating in it, priced at €15.

My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and it was perfect! We had a beautiful view to lake Garda- perfect!! Every day we went out to our balcony, set and enjoyed the silence, the view and always was good smell from the hotel’s kitchen. The room is not small. It has bed that was comfortable, a tv, table and bathroom. The bathroom has towels, soap and hair dryer. The breakfast was really good!! Everything was fresh- the eggs, the bread, the vegetables and the fruits. There was also bacon for those who eat. There were also tasty sweets. The stuff was friendly and helpful! About 5 minutes walking there are a few restaurants- we recommend on Baraccuda restaurant! And 10 minutes walking you will get to the castle. We had the best time!! Definitely will come back there!! * To be honest I did not photograph the interior of the room just because what is really worth in the room is the balcony VIEW. The room is simple and nice.

Our stay at Ca’Serena Hotel was nothing short of exceptional, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The Hotel is right next to the Lake with a beautiful view close to a couple of cafes and restaurants and only a 10/15 minute walk away from Sirmione old town. The staff at the hotel were nothing short of fantastic especially the gentleman behind reception who made our trip so much easier by always being available to help and approach. I don’t have a bad thing to say about our stay here. If you’re after breathtaking views, peace and tranquility and great wine, then Sirmione is definitely for you. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

We had a nice time at this hotel which was in an excellent location for our daily trips, easy to get around. There are other hotels on the peninsula of Sirmione but on busy days it is difficult to get in and out by car as very congested. This hotel is just at the beginning of that peninsula and makes it easy to get around other places on the lake. We also paid a bit extra to have a lake view room which was well worth it, there are only a few so you need to ask. A great benefit was also the free bike rental which was perfect for us to get into busy Sirmione along the lake. We think that this is a great plus as it is lovely to take your bike out in that area. In the evenings there are nice restaurants in that area, some right on the lake, and it is by far not so overcrowded as in Sirmione itself.

On arrival we were "greeted" by an older lady with no English who merely led us across a green astroturfed area through a rather smelly (drains and cigarette smoke) outside area to our room in the annexe. If she had told us times of breakfast etc in Italian we would have picked some up but no effort. Other staff we met in ensuing days were much more friendly though. The room was very small.Towels were threadbare and the toilet roll holder had been reformed out of rolled up toiled paper offering a "spear" to put the new one on. Breakfast was adequate but nothing like the spread of fresh fruit and offerings shown on their website. Get there a little later than the start and fruit looked like a garnish for the plate content rather than a fruit option. Good coffee machine but so slow and confusing for some that it caused huge delays for cleaning / resetting when people went wrong and the worst choice for a busy breakfast room. No restaurant operating when we were there but fortunately there was the excellent Dolce Vita locally within 5 minutes walk which is highly recommended. Position wise it was good with a pleasant 40 minute walk into Sirmione or you could get a bus nearby for E1.50 or E1 if bought in advance from local shop or tourist info in Sirmione. More like a hostel than a 3 star hotel to us although I do think there were better rooms available in the main hotel. Unfortunately those booking with a cruise package seemed to get the annexe rooms.

First, the good: The hotel is nice. The rooms in the new building are very modern and have wood floors. The view is nice; the balcony is spacious. You have a lake and pool view in the new building. The breakfast is good. I like that it’s served and not self service good Choice during COVID19; they should keep this concept it’s more hygienic! They offer free bikes. The privat Lake is literally across a bike path, but the lake is only accessible via a landing stage. For adults it’s perfect and relaxing, but I don’t recommend the lake for children, let alone babies. They can’t play in the water or ease into it from shore. The pool is nice. There aren’t that many sun loungers, but we always secured one as did. everyone else. Not sure how it would go of they were fully booked which I’m not sure they were. There are a few restaurants within walking distance 800m (5min) and an ice cream shop as well. However, the old town is about 3,5km (30 min walk) or 10 min bike ride, remember free bikes from the hotel! I feel bad for writing the bad below because everyone was so exceptionally nice from the reception to the housekeeping, but the below really bothered me... The bad: Our bathroom was not cleaned once during our 8 night stay. I know this because my daughter used the Bidet as a sink to brush her teeth and she spit on the outside of the bidet on the first night. Her spit marks and toothbrush were still there if you looked from a certain angle while hovering over the toilet (since I was grossed out and didn’t sit anymore). She also had a really bad stomachache on the third night. We cleaned everything as good as we could but we could not reach all angles. Again, while hovering over the toilet you could see that the toilet was not properly cleaned. And when lifting the seat you could see yellow stains...I really expected more; It’s gross enough without the pandemic but Italy was one of the hardest hit countries so more cleanliness would have definitely made my stay more enjoyable. The restaurant belonging to the hotel or attached to it, I don’t know I’m confused, is not good. I wouldn’t eat there if I were you. We are there one day for lunch which you have to reserve in advance if you want any chance of eating there, and it was our Most expensive and least tasteful meal during our stay. For lunch we paid nearly €90, Absolutely overpriced and not worth it. Our average for lunch was about €40 and for dinner €70 at really great restaurants. In summary: It’s a nice hotel (new building), in a nice location with extremely wonderful staff. They offer free bikes and free snacks with drink orders. The pool is heated and quite nice. The private beach is nice (for adults). The only thing that really put a damper on my stay was the fact that the toilet/bathroom was not properly cleaned and the restaurant was overpriced and not good.

We took a couples getaway to Lago di Garda after the new year (before the pandemic). I booked Fonte Boiola because it was the perfect balance of price and location. It was the low season in Sirmione, so we were able to get an excellent rate on the room. Though the hotel and rooms could do for a remodel, our room was perfectly situated upstairs with French doors that opened to a small balcony with a gorgeous view of the lake, overlooking the lawn, and the thermal pool. Now in some reviews, people have complained of a sulfurous odor. Those reviewers might be a little dense. There's a geothermal spring, of course it smells of brimstone! And my goodness, what a feature to have in the hotel! The spa is open from 7 to 7, and in winter, the hot mineral water feels absolutely heavenly. The thermal pool starts inside the building. You enter through a corridor that sprays you down and leads you into the pool gradually until you emerge to the outside. There are foam pool noodles to help you relax in the water. But if for some reason you don't want to be in the pool, you can hang out in the saunas (pandemic notwithstanding). Breakfast service is a simple buffet with breads, pastries, cereals, fruit, and cold cuts. Coffee, juice, milk, etc. But if there's one thing I need to highlight about how great this hotel is, it's the service. We must have left the headlights on because the battery was dead in the rental car. We went to the front desk to ask about roadside assistance, and they took care of everything! They brought the company car around and jump started our vehicle! No extra charge. By the way, they have free onsite parking, just don't forget to turn off your headlights.
