Your first impression as you arrive is what you got yourself into. Between no map giving proper directions (get close and look for the sign) and a steep, pitted gravel road leading you down and then up a hill, you question the wisdom of staying there. Plus, it is just a big place with not a lot of rooms, not really a castle in the true sense of the word. After a short while, your perspective changes. The place is serene, in the middle of a large farm, and the staff, including the owner and his daughter, are wonderful. The room was big, spotless and very dark and quiet, which is all you can hope for in a hotel. Because it is a way into town, one night we had dinner at the hotel, and it was one of the best we have ever had. Everything was very fresh, well presented and delicious. We usually try to not eat at hotels, but this exception was well worth it. Couple this great experience with a very reasonable rate and it is a rare 5-star experience.

The place an location are really nice and the staff is kind. However the furnitures don’t fit with the countryside style, the rooms need of maintenance in the bathroom, the frigobar was closed with tape (!!), WiFi works badly, the overall cleanses is not at resort standard, the swimming pool is not clean, there is no attention on details in the commons areas which make it not comfortable and without charme. It’s a pity because this place could be amazing but leaves you unsatisfied and don’t match expectations.

Beautiful villa in the countryside looking out toward Gubbio. The staff were very friendly, and check-in was easy. The hotel has a lift. Our room was massive and beautifully appointed, with frescoes on the ceiling and above the doors. The bed was hard, unfortunately, but had all non-feather pillows--great for allergy sufferers. There were power outlets on the wall at each nightstand--excellent for charging phones and devices at bedside. The room had a mini fridge but the temperature control didn't work so the contents were warm. The bathroom had a shower only, the usual small stall, with some mold, unfortunately; housekeeping needs to spend time scrubbing that clean. The shower water pressure started out weak, became strong for the middle, then returned to weak at the end. However, the hot water stayed hot. There was a wall-mounted, one-speed hair dryer. Parking is free in their large, open-air lot. I did not use the WiFi, but I saw that it was secured. I would happily stay again so this lovely property.

PART 1: Service: Negative and Positive -Negative: When we arrived, we had two people bringing up three large luggage. The receptionist just watched us struggle. Nobody was exceptionally kind or went out of their way to make our visit better. -Positive: Our room was always cleaned, the reception was always kind and helpful, and they helped us get a map, got us tickets for a Gubbio tour, gave good suggestions, and knew what to do. PART 2: The Room -Negative: We didn't know how to get the AC to work, the single bed had no access to see the TV or a bedside table or a lamp. The toilet was too high, the shower walls did not block water, and the shower had no place to hold soap and toiletries. -Positive: The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the TV worked, the Mini Fridge was great, and they had a desk. The view wasn't the best one, but it brought in lots of lovely air in the hot summer. PART 3: The Location and Amenities -Negative: The Location was quiet, but not ideal. It was not attached to the city center, making coming and going difficult, mainly because Gubbio has no escalators or other systems as such. The Bidet was partially broken, so water went everywhere. -Positive: There was a great vending machine, an elevator, ramps everywhere, and god lamps. The Location, though all of the negatives previously mentioned, was close to many important things outside the city center. It was right on Piazza 40 Martiri, a critical center to leave and enter Gubbio. It also had much available parking lots close to the Hotel. Overall, my visit was positive. The Negative things were minimal, and this hotel was just another part of my great visit to Gubbio.

Stayed in the hotel at the HullPIC2010 conference was down the lane, and what a great location, in the middle of the walled city, and full of character, like traveling back in time but in a good way. Friendly and helpful staff and very accommodating. An easy 1st choice for my next visit to Gubbio.

Being able to step out the front door and onto the central square was very convenient and a pleasant surprise. Everything was within walking distance, restaurants, shops, supermarket, etc. We also loved that there was a bar just inside the front doors of this hotel for an afternoon espresso with a sweet treat or a nightcap and a savory bite. There was a note when we were researching this hotel that made us aware that we could drive up to the front door, unload our suitcases but then have to park our car a few blocks away. We didn't need our car at all during our stay but anyone that might be doing day trips, could find this inconvenient. Be prepared to carry your suitcases up a flight of stairs to the reception area and then an elevator is accessible from there. Breakfasts were amazing with lots of choices to suit everyone's tastes. The breakfast rooms were so beautiful with art and artifacts on the surrounding walls. Our bedroom was filled with lovely antique furniture, (as was the rest of the hotel), lots of closet space, mini fridge and safe. There are sitting rooms and gorgeous terraces with spectacular views on every floor. The staff always had smiles on their faces whenever we asked for their assistance. A smile goes a long way ! We highly recommend staying here !

If you're arriving by car, the hotel is a short walk up the hill from the Piazza 40 Martiri, where you can park short-term (you won't want to drive in the "vertical" part of town). Free longer-term parking is available at the Teatro Romano, some 300 meters farther on. My room was small and didn't have a view, but was cozy and comfortable. Wi-Fi worked well and breakfast was standard for Italy. Friendly staff. Good value for money.

It was in a sunny room and featured a wide variety of options. We ate a lovely meal in the hotel restaurant as well.

The elevator in the hotel was really small and could only go in for two people. The front desk service was good. We arranged a large room on the first floor. It was heavy. No haha breakfast is rich, but it ’s been for three days. The hotel location is very good. There are a lot of sculptures in the subway station next to the subway station. It ’s very convenient to take the subway every day. The morning market is very lively and the fruits are cheap. The morning market goes further. There is an ice cream shop on the street corner. At noon, many foreigners buy that ice cream.

Honeymoon + Birthday Trip: • Upgraded to Executive Suite (Pleasant surprise , much appreciated 🙏🏻) • Champagne & Fruit Tart/Cake on compliments (Thankful 🙂) • Was informed by Front Office personnel whom guided us to our room that everything from the minibar were complimentary. However, we were charged for consumption instead upon checking out. (2 different staffs for C/I and C/O) Attitude of staff assisting with our C/O could be improved as he ‘explained’ and gave us the same reply that “No, our minibar are never complimentary.” to our doubts. ** I’m a hotelier too and I believed better response could and should be extended for mentioned situation. ** Nonetheless , my husband and I paid for the additional charges without trying to be difficult as our ride to the airport had arrived too then . It was a modern yet stylish property overall with a little unpleasantness experienced towards the end of our stay .

[Location] Super convenient. The airport train is just a five-minute walk from the Central Station. [Service] Check-in at the front desk will take the initiative to call for procedures. [Room] The theme is red and black. The rooms are not large but they are generally the same in Europe. The shower in the bathroom is particularly flush. The air conditioner is very cool. There are hair dryers. The floor-to-ceiling windows are facing the train station. [Characteristics] Breakfast and dinner are included, I feel very rich, there is a drink for breakfast, there is no waiter at dinner to ask if you need it, foreigners order more, white rice for dinner and some dishes are salty, and fruits, mainly worry about the day The unsafe black out of the house happened to be solved in the hotel. [Note] Dinner must go to the lobby bar on the first floor to pick up the roll, indicating whether it is to be eaten at 7:00 or 8:00, and the actual meal at 7:00 is half past six. [Details] The lobby on the first floor does not need to go down the stairs. There are public spaces in the lobby. There is a sofa lounge and a small bar. In the early morning, there are two sofas on the basement floor to sit and wait. [Overall] High cost performance is recommended.

A very poor stay experience, the hotel is in a good location, five minutes walk from Milan Cathedral, but the hotel service is really average, especially the two female executives in the restaurant, went to breakfast three days during the stay, never with us Say hello, expressionless. This is not the case for non-Chinese tourists. Instead, the waiters in the restaurant were more enthusiastic and smiling. On the second day of check-in, we also painted the wall and did not notify the guests in advance, so that the children's clothes became dirty when they walked. The most annoying thing is that the hotel ’s scheduled visit to Da Vinci ’s “Last Supper” costs 50 Euros. Five-year-olds are also charged in full (but in Europe, five-year-olds are basically free) Since the fee was notified by phone, there was no written confirmation, but the fare printed on the tickets we received was 15 Euros, so that we did not know this until check-out. The hotel explained that this is a VIP service and this charge is totally unreasonable.

The only hotel in the world, the first is located in Dubai. The restaurant of this hotel in Milan was a Michelin before, but now I change the chef. The smell of the room bath and shower products is my favorite tobacco taste. The service is really nothing to say. At night I thought the tram downstairs was too noisy at midnight. I upgraded a quiet suite the next day. I discovered that the iPad was out of control and could not turn off the lights. The air conditioner did not work before going to bed at night. I mentioned it when I checked out. After a while, the front desk deeply apologized and sent a scented candle as a gift. Milan gave me too many surprises, and I look forward to seeing you next time ~

The hotel is one metro stop away from the exhibition, clean and sanitary, and the price of dinner is expensive. Take their car to the nearest subway exit and take a stroll. There will be two Chinese restaurants, one is pizza, the boss is a young guy and parents, very enthusiastic, the bulk wine in it is very delicious, and the other is Chinese In the restaurant, the boss spoke a little discriminatory to the Chinese. Although he was Chinese, he asked the boss to recommend red wine. The boss had a lot of guts: "Of course, the most expensive wine is the best." There is no kettle in the room, there is no hot water (it is estimated that only the second floor restaurant can pick up hot water) but many drinks in the refrigerator are free. The bed is soft and comfortable and the pillows are not high. After check in, although the front desk beauty will take the room, but the whole process did not help me with luggage, including the steps, people feel that the five-star hotel is not worthy of the title. The so-called gallery hotel, the "painting" of the room is also a print, not a real painting. In short, the price is not high. Tonight, I changed to the Domo Townhouse Hotel next door, which is also a five-star hotel. The service is much better than the Vickers Gallery. My room rate includes breakfast, breakfast is order-based, according to the menu, the chef is ready to serve, which is also the style of a big hotel. The breakfast tastes very good too. From the arched windows of the restaurant you can see the center of the arcade of the Manuele II, seeing tourists and luxury shops coming and going. The hotel door is not facing the inside of the arcade of the Manuelle II, but the small road towards the outside. The door is small and not easy to find, but there is a waiter welcoming at the door. I have stayed at this hotel in many room types, including standard rooms, executive rooms, standard apartments and superior apartments. If you are preparing to cook your own meals, then choosing an apartment is a good choice. The superior apartments are large in size, the horizontal and living rooms are two separate rooms and are very comfortable. If you are traveling alone, the executive room is also very good. The area is large and the living room is large. There is no sense of cramp. In summer, we will open the outdoor swimming pool, sunbathe, and read books in the sun. I always stay at this hotel every time I come to Milan, the price is moderate, about 8 minutes walk from TURRO subway red line, the traffic is relatively convenient. There is a small supermarket PENNY MARKET opposite, which is convenient and cheap. The location was near the station and there were many trains so there was no problem getting out into town. The hotel faces a residential area, and it seems like even a single girl is not as dangerous. The appearance was cute and I was excited to stay in Europe. The room was retro and cute as shown in the photo. There are no slippers and bathrobes, and you need to bring a toothbrush. The unfortunate point was that I prepared coffee and tea so that I could boil the water myself and drink it, but the pot was broken and I couldn't use it. When I asked the front desk if I could replace my cold body with warmth, I asked him to ask him to raise something he had come to see. I was told that I would give hot water when I wanted to drink, but I was told to come down to get it and decided that it was troublesome. After that, there was often a timing where Wi-Fi was difficult to enter when it was a room.
