We arrived with a group of 7 persons on a Saturday afternoon and we stayed till Tuesday morning. We had 2 rooms for 2 persons and 1 room for 3 persons which was as requested when making the reservation. We had to share 3 bathrooms between 9 rooms but with a little bit of organizing this works out well. The bathrooms were thoroughly cleaned every morning and sound insulation between the individual rooms proved to be excellent. Large towels are issued on arrival upon request. Breakfast is also served upon ordering the evening before and at a very modest cost, one cannot complain about the selection. There are coffee and tea making facilities in the communal kitchen and one has to do the washing up afterwards of the dishes and cups/beakers. There is 1 large fridge/freezer in the kitchen where one can store your personal food items if you prefer so. In view of its central location near the historic old town and the vicinity of a pub/restaurant just opposite the entrance, this the ideal location for a low cost overnight stay. Oh yes, each room has a flat screen TV and there is a pool table in the basement and a large flat screen TV and computer for the guests near the reception desk. There is also free internet !

This was our first holiday due to Covid and the staff here couldn't have been nicer. Our check-in was fast and friendly; and they do explain that they won't be coming into your room for daily cleaning. This is to keep everyone safe; but if you need something, you just need to call. All of the staff spoke perfect English, and the location of the hotel is excellent; a short walk to the main square with pubs and restaurants on the way. There is a convenience store next door, but they stop serving alcohol at 10; but you can always buy a beer from Reception. The room was lovely, the bed was very comfortable and massive, and the balcony complete with tables and chairs was a real heat trap, especially between 3-5pm! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and this was a great hotel. I would come back.

This was our first introduction to Poland, what a treat it was! Amazing staff, great food and wine list, very comfy bed and good size towels. The see-through bathroom door was different. You could actually open the windows which was good, as coming from Australia we like fresh air! Great location with shops and food close by, easy to use trams and not too far from the old town, nice park close by. The young lady on the desk when we arrived as excellent, I cannot remember her name, I think she was studying Engineering, a very kind and thoughtful person, in fact, the staff in all areas were excellent.

Very large room and clean, modern bathroom. Our room overlooked an inner courtyard above the restaurant below so was a bit noisy in the evening with diners talking. Ask for a street view room. You get a free drink coupon at the restaurant and 10% off there and at the coffee shop. The coffee shop has some amazing desserts. The morning breakfast is bargain priced and a great variety. Several different types of eggs, sausages, meat & cheese, veggies, yogurt, cereal plus coffee, tea and juice. The hotel is just off a pedestrian street with lots of restaurants and shops and you’re just a few minutes walk from the old town square. Front desk staff is very friendly & helpful. Note: Uber’s aren’t allowed in Old Town so if you take one to the hotel they will drop you a couple blocks away. Taxis are allowed and will drop you at the door.

We stayed here for two nights when we were visiting the sights of Poznan. Its located on the edge of Poznan but with easy access to a main road that goes straight to downtown and the old town. There was a wedding going on in the hotel when we arrived so parking was a bit difficult as the parking lot is not overly large. Because of the wedding the restaurant was closed to the public. This was a bit inconvenient as there is not much within walking distance. It meant having to drive to a restaurant. The hotel and the rooms are quite nice, clean and well maintained but a bit dated. The buffet breakfast was pretty good but the staff seemed a bit disorganized. We arrived right at the time when the breakfast was supposed to start but there was no one around for a good 10 minutes. The pool and spa were ok but quite small...much smaller than the photos make it look. Not sure if we would come back, maybe if the price was right!

what do you need from a hotel? - a nice soft bed? - clean? - close to where the action is? - quiet? - thoughtfulness from the staff? - cool decoration and style? - excellent meals? I guess I'm leaving a few out but they are all there and more. City solei is a boutique hotel that has the customers on its mind. the not many rooms are each designed differently, cozy, and with the care of the owners, as homely as a hotel room can be. 7 minutes from the town square, or from the cathedral, place it perfectly for most visitors. Sunday morning buffet breakfast was one of the best I have encountered, regarding the variety of foods, and their beautiful arrangement. The honeycomb was a delight for the eyes and wishing for some menu items beyond the buffet was also a possibility. The staff's smile was complementary. Bottom line? My suggestion is from the heart! I fell in love with the place.

I wanted to try a new Hotel in the area and choose the Regatta because of the description and some pictures on their homepage and Booking.com. To say it clear, it was sufficient for two nights but too expensive for the location. Unusual was for me the entrance and reception. To get to the reception you go through the restaurant terrace and so in between of guests eating dinner or lunch. You enter and are at first in front of the bar and then you see the reception on the left-hand side. The room size is ok and I think all rooms have a small balcony. New for me was that you cannot lock the door from inside! Then the key slot to have power in the room is hidden and difficult to find. In the bathroom you don’t have a towel for the floor but you get slippers. In the room you have two small bottles of water for free beside the minibar. I couldn’t find a bottle opener. The bed quality is okay and you have a lot of sitting opportunities to relax or to work. WiFi is available with good quality level. Tv has 37 channels and of course mainly polish ones but 5 are in German and 2 in English. I didn’t check the pool or spa but the pool is not always available as I found out in the room. Breakfast offer was ok but I couldn’t find pastries and the tables are not cleaned and replaced quickly as it should in a 4 star hotel. You will see on floor 2 always the cart of the cleaners :-) Parking is for free but not controlled!

This is brand new hotel, it is very modern. Our bed was comfortable and the room very quiet. At first room we had promlem with the lights, they just shut down, something wrong with the system, they were under amove sensor but not well set. In the second room it worked. Breakfast was good, dinner too limited but I hope that gets better with time. The airport is just in front of the hotel, so that is really comfortable!

I would say a few words about my stay here. The price of course was higher than average, due to the exhibition ongoing locally. The room is ok, the bed and the matress are confortable, while perhaps the pillow might be a bit smaller and a bit harder. Very good the presence of a plug nearby the bed. Toilet ok, very clean, but at morning time I have experience and signaled an unpleasant lack of pressure in the water, during the shower. The water itself is very strange, looks like very much softened... it's really unnatural type of water, perhaps there is a demineralization unit which needs to be tuned properly. The breakfast is served in the -1 floor and it is complete, however you might be in position to share your table with other guests, due to the lack of space. Check-in and check-out procedures very swift, and all the staff very polite and helpful. A few words about the restaurant in the next building, really worth of a visit: it's a good choice in terms of price and quality; I really recommend it and the lady working there is really a kind and attentive one. The food is really good, so my congratulations to the chef; just mind that if you don't like spicy, better to ask to the waitress "no spicy", because they use pepper here.

Really fab place to stay in Poznan. Close to everywhere your likely to visit if sightseeing. Staff were all super helpful. Thanks to Anna for arranging a taxi for us to the airport . £6 50 ...So reasonable! We caught the bus from the airport to the city centre just for fun upon arrival. £1 and really straightforward. Anyway...Back to the hotel... Beds were very comfortable, room was lovely and warm. Very clean all round. Kettle and fridge as well as plates and cutlery all provided. Breakfast really was first class too. The only thing that spoilt it for us was the noise . Every night during our stay, loud thumping music and people partying. Til gone 1a.m. I don't think it was coming from inside the appartments but it did disturb us from sleeping. Would we stay again? Yes definitely. A great place to stay for the price . I was here not so long ago and it is one of the very few times I felt disappointed of my stay, both in terms of level of rendered services, and specially the quality/price ratio. Of course the prices were inflated by the ongoing exhibition in Poznan, but generally speaking even the normal prices seem to me not in line with the overall level. i try to set aside my negative emotions, and want to list for the readers the pros and cons herebelow: PROS: 1. Well connected to the city center trough the 29 tramway station and the exhibition center with the 10, 11 lines. 2. Parking availability along the road, for free, or nearby the hotel (for fee) 3. Restaurant is ok with normal prices, I have enjoyed the asparagi seasonal menu CONS: 4. No air conditioning: when I am arrived at around 17.30 the room, on the side of the main road 28 czerwca, was very hot like a furnace; I then opened the windows, but soon realized the noise coming from the street, and the heat too. As suggestion for the hotel, if not mounting expensive air conditioners, the situation might improve a lot applying on the windows sun proof layers to reflect the sunrays. 5. The mattress: oh, boy! There is nothing worse than having a bad mattress; I have worked in the mattress industry, but even a normal person would understand that those mattress are totally unsuitable for the comfort during the sleep. The heat, the noise from the street, and the too soft mattress, probably even too old, have jeopardized my nights compromising my efficiency during the day time. 6. The carpet (moquette) on the floor: while laying in the bed, I could see more closer how much dust and dirty is in the moquette; if not changing it for a parquet type floor, I would suggest a water or steam cleaning. Beside, but this has nothing to do with the hotel, my experience was jeopardized by a group of pensioners monopolizing the breakfast room for a good 45 minutes and forcing some guests to go downstairs to have a sit, which I didn't like and didn't do. I have appreciated the good readiness of a few waitress at breakfast, and the fact that they have given to me water in my bedroom every day. At the end, my experience has been overall disappointing and I felt overcharged by at least 50% of the real value of the level of comfort and services provided, and it is unlikely that I will come back there, specially for a longer - than - one - night stay, as the place didn't meet my requirements, which I think can be those of every normal business traveler. I wish the management and the owners will take my survey not as a punishment, but as an honest heartfelt opinion of a dissatisfied customer, thus making it an occasion to improve.

For many years in that building was located only Novotel. Now the lower floors have been converted into Ibis. Same for both hotels (but renovated) lobby, same restaurant, but different rooms (design and standard). Ibis have acceptable quality for price, but in my personal opinion, this new Ibis hotels have very nice, modern and simple style. Room very spacious with acceptable WIFI signal and Canal + channels in flat TV. Bathroom clean and simple, with all what you need - bath gel and hair dryer. Location in the hear of the city, but at least during weekend not so noisy during night in the room. And super great breakfast. In my opinion local winner in price/quality ratio.

I would say that the hotel is quite basic. The rooms are very small. I had to change rooms twice on the first evening. Once at check in as I was given a twin room by mistake and then there was a loud noise coming from the air conditioning in the second room that couldn’t be fixed. I was kept waiting quite a long time and no assistance was offered to help me move rooms. If you just want a room for the night then the rooms are ok. I would not want to stay at the hotel regularly or for a long time. I never managed to get the free WiFi to work on any device. On the other hand, the restaurant was very nice. The staff we really friendly and the food was really good. The quality and price seems to be a step above the quality of the rooms.

Positives: in the heart of old town. Pretty outside. Rooms called after Polanski's movies which adds to the good vibes. Negatives: It was advertised on hotels.com as a b&b (the reason I chose it for our accommodation) but it's a hostel, so substandard. The beds and towels were clean however everything else was filthy and neglected: a bare socket is a hazard, holes in ceiling, scraped walls with too many marks. And oh my god the bathroom looked like it'd not been cleaned for weeks! Soap and dirt marks and mould everywhere in the shower cabin and the sink which made it stink badly. Tea cups were provided but again stained and unwashed, no teaspoons. I do not recommend this place if you are after a bit of standard and I will not be staying there again.

Old polished dark wood, statues, large pictures and beautiful stained glass windows/light fittings had me 'catch my breath' upon arrival. Gaja had the 'wow' factor. My room on the first floor was spacious and comfortable. However the weather was very hot and there was no cooling, not even a portable fan was available. The windows have electric shutters which I used at night to block out the noise from the trams and also the early morning light. Bring your own hair dryer if you use one as it is not supplied. I did a lot of walking while I was in Poznan as the hotel is 2 kms from the Market Square. Although this was not a problem for me I feel the location of the hotel may be a little too far away for many people. As a solo traveller I rely on good wifi so the biggest drawback was the poor wifi in my room. 3 nights into my 5 night stay a kindly staff member on Reception allowed me to connect to the Gaja Restaurant wifi instead so I finally had a good signal. Gaja is situated beside the Old Zoo in Poznan which I considered a 'plus'. I wasn't aware of this until I arrived. My room looked over into the zoo gardens! I loved starting off my days with a short visit to see the animals and meander through the grounds; the trees, parks and small lakes. Entry is free and although the zoo is small it's a popular spot with locals ... a peaceful place to connect with nature. Poznan itself is well worth visiting. I particularly enjoyed eating at Bar Caritas near Wolnosci Square - home style cooking and very cheap, as well as Pyra Bar where the menus are in English as well as Polish and the food is tasty and wholesome.

I believe some of the apartments are located in a different building, however the apartment we stayed in was located at 12 Rybaki street, as advertised. The reception area is clearly marked on the street and easy to find. Rybaki street is a one way street. It is not the prettiest of streets, there is some graffiti etc, but it felt like a safe area. On the website each apartment is clearly shown with pictures, inventory and a floor plan, and you can see that the decor and layout of each apartment is slightly different. The online booking system did not allow us to choose a specific apartment, so I sent them an email asking for the specific one we wanted (it had the best bedding configuration for us, and it was one of very few with its' own washing machine). When booking via email I was not required to pay anything up front. Upon arrival we were asked to pay the full amount. We did this but it would have been nice to see the apartment first. There were no problems however, and the apartment was exactly as pictured, spacious, bright and modern. It was secure and private and we never saw any other people when coming and going. Stary Browar (a large shopping complex) is a 5 minute walk away. There is a Piotr & Pawel large supermarket in the basement, and a few nice restaurants as well as a food court. The only negatives were: - Stairs! Our apartment was up a flight of 72 stairs, with no lift. Anyone with mobility issues would struggle. - Street noise combined with the fact there is no air conditioning. This meant choosing between a hot/stuffy night or a noisy night, so sleep quality was affected. - I found a few small shards of broken glass and some balls of hair and dust on the floor. - There was no soap provided for the dishwasher, which would have been welcome. - I did not see a safe for valuables, this would have been appreciated. Overall I would recommend Apartamenty Pomaranczarnia. (I am not sure why the name of this place on Trip Advisor includes the word 'hostel' - nothing we saw indicated that it was a hostel).

I stayed at HP Park Hotel for 3 nights during a work trip to Poznan. This hotel was walking distance to my office, so for a business trip the location was perfect. Given the strength of the US dollar in Poland, the nightly rate was a great value for the quality of the hotel. A cheery receptionist greeted me when I arrived after midnight! My room was facing the lake and very quiet, large, with clean bedding and modern shower/bath. Service was timely every day. The carpet was worn and a little dated, but for the price I paid per night, this hotel was well worth it. I had dinner one night in the hotel restaurant and the food and service was excellent. If you are planning to visit old town, you will need to take a taxi. But if you like a quiet place to unwind after a busy day, this hotel is worth considering.

It’s in the heart of downtown with all hotels, Central riailway station, shopping mall and Poznan Exhibtion Centre. All are within 5 to 7 minutes walking Center and an ideal place for business people attending Exhibtion or corporate offices. Clean rooms and reasonable pricing. Breakfast is good but they should have more choice of menu selections for dinner in the restaurant. Somehow their choices of menu is minimal. We have left our bags in the reception and they forget to keep it in the safe room. When a local football team checked out they mixed it up and picked up our bags and gone. They were able to find out this thru CC camera and by the time they contacted the time they were halfway to Warsaw. Ultimately they sent it by courier from Warsaw that reaches us 2 days later. Lesson is that make sure when you leave something in the reception get a token!

Room were cozy and modern. Breakfast food selection was much better than in another hotels, with self service, something I didn't like as that didn't make me avoid touching common things and in Corona times is something to be concerned about. There are many activities in the building that add to the healthy vibe. Although we visited in the dead of winter, I imagine it would be wonderful place for a family vacation in the spring or summer. Highly recommended, a good value
