Hotels Near Abou Said In Cairo
3.4km from Abou SaidI chose this hotel because it is a new hotel, the lobby is very modern, the room is very well decorated, the bathroom is spacious enough, the front desk girl said to give me a free room upgrade, but I didn't think it was upgraded [naughty] walking one After a few days, worry about safety issues, return to the hotel room to order, the meal is delicious, and the price is reasonable, a steak 300 Egyptian pounds (excluding service charge)! Everything is wonderful before going to sleep! But, I lived on the 3rd floor, very noisy at night, CLUB on the ground floor, and Arabian dance music all night. It was crazy for me who had sleep problems, and complained in the middle of the night, although the feedback stopped immediately. But still last until 4am! The hotel lobby manager said that he would give me compensation on the second day. The second night was free, but I still checked out. The hotel also promised to refund the room rate for the next day, and the first day’s room rate was operated. 25% discount, so I feel that although the experience is not good, but very formal integrity. Therefore, if you book this hotel, you must have a high level of sleep, because other conditions are very satisfying!

3.9km from Abou SaidBreakfast is good. Salads, hot stir-fries, snacks, breads, fruits, fresh honey can be scraped, or you can ask the waiter for hot drinks.
Have eaten Chinese food once in a hotel buffet. The standard chain is 4 stars, with many categories.
For dinner, the hotel does not provide buffet, there are two restaurants open, both are fine, one Asian and one Italian. But the better restaurants are all across the river. The embassy island is really a treasure.
It ’s convenient to travel with Uber.
Service, 5 stars by conscience.
Gym, very complete, fully equipped Techmuscle, water supply for towels. The sauna next door is free of charge and massage is available. Did not try the pool.
The interior of the hotel is small but generous with piano waiters and cafes. The rooms are slightly old, but the basic facilities are complete, more than enough. The scenery on the river is better. The bed was ok, not soft or hard, almost four stars. There is no socket at the bedside, which is inconvenient.
The casino is on the ground floor and did not go.
(I recommend the four-star Hilton across the river. The location is good. There is a Japanese restaurant in it. It ’s a good question. Most of the foreigners live in it. They are basically embassy staff or company staff who come to Cairo for business.)
3.95km from Abou SaidAs most know Hilton is a reputable hotel company, however, this location is so disappointing. Before booking, I thought this would have been a standard at the Hilton hotels but the rooms were absolutely outdated and disgusting. (I did of course check reviews however it was very deceiving) I would never stay at this hotel ever again! We booked a suite room for our family, even though it was an enormous amount of space that included a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 3 rooms, and a family living area it was super OUTDATED!! the beds were ok, the furniture is very old, the bathroom were absolutely disgusting with hair on the wall and just cracks everywhere in the tile. We had issues with our water heater and the shower would run hot water at first then become cold within minutes. We did tell the front and tried to fix it, however, did not work and gave us complimentary water/snacks (which was basically bribing us because we just kept complaining.) On top the that, we found a piece of gum stuck on the side of the bed one day when we got back to the hotel. ABSOLUTELY GROSS!!!! We called housekeeping, and it was removed by them however that shouldn’t have been there in the first place while cleaning our room!!! Overall, I would NOT recommend staying here. Even though the employees were super nice and did attend to our complaints, this Hilton hotel location was just very deceiving and expectations to a standard American hotel was disappointing.
4.08km from Abou SaidVery warm welcome from receptionist as well as Guest Relations manager. Was allowed to check-in in the early afternoon and also received a courtesy upgrade to a very large Suite (acknowledging Honors Gold status). The accommodation was very clean, had an excellent view of the Nile & cityscape, and kitchen was well-equipped. The nicest surprise was to find the pool heated properly so one can enjoy a swim even when it was quite cool outside. Thanks to all the staff for a very comfortable stay!

4.25km from Abou SaidThis hotel is located in a very quiet and safe area of Cairo. Currently in process of being renovated, it is still comfortable and the breakfast is better than many I had in 5 stars hotels which is amazing ! The staff is extremely nice. We booked the transfer from the airport to the hotel and I highly recommend it as it is a must ! We have been welcomed a few steps out of the plane and fully assisted for the visas and custom clearance which made our arrival perfectly smooth !
4.25km from Abou SaidIncredibly frustrating stay that was cut short, with us calling both the tourism police and bookings.com. Do not stay here. Summary - if you are a male and female, and do not have a marriage certificate (even if you are partners) then do not stay here. I would generally stay away as if you have issues at the hotel, they will try to scam you out of money. We are a male and female, and we checked into the hotel for 2 nights. We were let in, and we had our first night stay. On the second day at around 5pm, we get a call to our room asking us to come down. We go down to the hotel reception, and they say - you need to book another single room for 70 dollars. we are confused as to why, and they said it is because you don't have a marriage certificate (just side not here - later we find out the policy is ONLY for Egyptians, not foreigners, but they thought they could get more money from us). We had a big argument as to why they let us check in and stay the first night. We asked for a refund for the second night so we can move to another hotel, and they said no, it's already paid. They wouldn't let us go back to our room, so we called the police, and we went to our room and started packing up. Called booking.com and they told us they will call the hotel to get a refund. The hotel then calls us and says, ok we will give you a refund. We go down, and the guy gives us a receipt for 1 night refund, BUT hands us less cash - when we ask why, he says because you are checking out late!!!! So, I guess it is a Scam. They try to fill the hotel and get more money from the guests who might be shy to argue and not call the police on them. It's just not worth the hassle at all - we moved to the Hilton, and they didn't have any issues at all with any of this, and confirmed that policy is only for locals, not tourists. That's the biggest issue. The next issue was the noise outside is crazy loud! There are cars honking and music being blasted out from all around. We used ear plugs, but then then couldn't get a good night sleep. The bathroom also smelled a lot, they did try to fix it with cleaning again, but it still was there - issue with the plumbing. Don't stay here.

4.42km from Abou SaidThis hotel is a Gem in Cairo. Its location is what makes it so perfect. It's located right next to the metro station, budget restaurants (including kushari), cafes, shops, buses, and a 20 minutes walk to Tahrir square. It's in the middle of a bustling city, so noise is extreme even at 6 am in the morning. Pros: - Location + + + + + - Affordability + + + + + - Housekeeping on demand - The amazing owner, Dr. Ahmad. He takes care of everything in case of any complaint, and is a great soul. I loved seeing him everyday on the terrace, and enjoyed talking with him. Cons: - Not very clean - Room always had issues (AC making noise, equipment broken/not working, rats running around, ect.) - No seating on the balcony - Water from shower gets everywhere in the bathroom, and there's no place to hang towels in the bathroom. You can slip on your way out, the bathroom gets all dirty/wet, and it gets cold if the AC is on - Terrible & expensive laundry service (my clothes came out stained) - Lots of street noise, but that's Cairo! (if you're a light sleeper, or need a calm room, you might need to look at someplace a bit less central). I highly recommend this lovely hotel for short-term stays. For long term stays, I recommend paying a little bit more in exchange for less room problems.
Hotels Near Abou Said In Cairo Review
Everything was perfect! food-wise, facility-wise, staff-wise! The Best Benefit of This one is right next to the big modern shopping mall which has many things to offer for a travel that needed!
Highlights Buffet - Amazing spread which changes everyday. BUT, they need to label their food products carefully - Stuffed artichoke should ideally read Stuffed Artichoke with beef - Hindus will not easily understand. Also, they can have different ladles for beef and chicken sausages. Its an international hotel - so just saying they need to display their sensitivity. The ladies who serve tea/ coffee need to be told that people drink hot coffee/ tea. Twice me and my sister had to return the pots as it was lukewarm! Room - Carpet jaded. For a 5 star, it can have a few more english channels. Spray in the washroom does not have a gentle spray - We stayed in two different rooms and same experience. Balcony can have atleast 1 chair - wicker style Liked that they offer free steam, sauna and jacuzzi. If you are a tourist like me, then end of the day a steam can really relax you
The big bed room also presented welcome fruits and desserts. Masks and disposable disinfectants are provided in the room. Many hotel staff still don't wear masks...There is no way to respect the choices of people of all countries. The Bar by the pool is open late, and you can eat there when you arrive late. Breakfast is also at B1, optional, probably because there are fewer options for the epidemic. Check-in and check-out are relatively fast. If you discuss with the hotel, you can check out until 2 pm. The hotel has a shuttle bus to the airport. The service industry trained by the British in history is still quite good.
The entire hotel is very large, like a manor house, except for the decoration of the interior rooms, the exterior, hall and corridor are super gorgeous! There are different styles of restaurants on the hillside in the hotel courtyard. You need to walk or take a free car to go. It is very interesting and tastes good, especially the grilled fish in seafood restaurants. recommend! The hotel's overall service is good, the front desk understands English, you can consult wherever you want to play, or you can call a car. A bit far from the city center. The details in the room are not hygienic, or may it be caused by regional customary standards?
The hotel location is good, and it is convenient to walk to the museum (although you have to be careful when crossing the road). There is a shopping mall behind the hotel, and there are also a few shops outside to buy water, snacks, etc. It is very convenient to use uber, it is recommended to download a picture of Arabic numbers Easy to understand the license plate
The hotel staff were smiling always, and they acted they are trying to help although the result was below expectations, so this was confusing, they seemed they wanted to help but we got nothing Booking.com msgs First of all the venue did not reply at all on the msgs through the booking system, although at the venue they said they got the msgs. Reception requests We have informed them at the counter we are on our anniversary, they said you should have contacted us earlier….although they did not reply on the booking system and the day before I have a call recorded with them with a phone hassle We requested a specific hotel side view room on booking .com and at the reception, we did not get it although the hotel was not fully booked After a pressure from us, the hotel said they will see what they can do about the anniversary, but one of the communication links inside the hotel dropped the msg and we did not get anything on time, although we got it after a second pressure by us again For the anniversary we got a cake which in no way was fresh and we gave it back in full after we took a bite, it was not a 5 star hotel quality or even 2 star restaurant cleanliness The cleanliness of the room is not a 5 star hotel, it is not a 5 star quality bathroom , floors, furniture, the furniture is not like the image, which is I think 10 years old Amenities There was no ironing tools as advertised.
